ANALYSIS OF PRE-PROSPEROUS HOUSEHOLD CONSUMPTION DIVERSITY IN LAMPUNG PROVINCE (SUSENAS DATA ANALYSIS, 2019)

Food security has clear goals and impacts on efforts to improve nutrition and improve community welfare. To achieve this, diversification of food consumption plays an important role. Diversification of food consumption has a role in efforts to improve nutrition and to obtain quality human beings and reduce dependence on certain commodities. However, consumption pattern is different to each household depending on its income levels. The majority of household welfare levels in Lampung Province are categorized as pre-prosperous households. The economic situation (income) of pre-prosperous households can affect the food choice. If the food choice is inappropriate, the fulfillment of nutritional quality is not optimal and can affect the quality of human resources. As a result, research on this topic was critical, particularly in lower middle-class households especially pre-prosperous households. The goal of this study was to examine the amount of consumption diversification and its determinants among the pre-prosperous households. Secondary data from the 2019 SUSENAS raw data were used in this investigation. This survey included 2,792 households as samples. The Berry Index was employed to quantify the diversity of food consumption, and binary logistic regression analysis was performed to study its determinants. The amount of food consumption diversity among pre-prosperous households in Lampung Province was moderate. The Berry Index had an average value of 0.827. Household income, education of the head of the household, education of the mother, gender of the head of the household, and type of region all had a positive effect on household food consumption diversity, whereas the number of household members had a negative effect. Based on these results, comprehensive policies are needed with clear targets and programs that contribute to increasing employment opportunities and income so that family consumption is more diverse and of high quality. In addition, it is also necessary to increase the contribution of education both through formal and non-formal education, and promotion in the implementation of counseling or socialization on diversification of food consumption.

Karakteristik Fisik dan Kandungan Gizi Tepung Pisang Lokal Lampung dengan Metode Perebusan

Lampung Province is the third largest banana producer in Indonesia with various types of bananas. It affects the differences of physical characteristics and nutritional content. Besides the type of banana, the processing can also affect the differences in its characteristics. The objective of the research was to determine the physical characteristics and nutritional content of banana flour from 8 types of bananas grown in Lampung Province as a source of local flour with the boiling method. The study was designed in a completely randomized block design with 3 replications. The results showed that the type of banana affected the physical characteristics and nutritional content of banana flour. Nangka bananas had the highest yield (42.06%) and muli bananas had the lowest yield (24.45%). Ambon kuning and tanduk had the highest degree of whiteness (44.60 and 41.20) and this is influenced by the color of the black pith. Muli banana flour was the highest protein content (3.54%). Fat content in nangka banana flour is the highest (1.09%). Ash of muli banana and ambon banana flour were the highest content (2.99% and 2.68%). Crude fiber of muli banana flour and kepok manado banana flour were the highest content (3.17% and 3.21%). The starch, amylose, and ratio of amylose/amylopectin of kepok manado and tanduk banana flour were the same and the highest content (respectively ranging between 74.53–76.29%, 26.18–28.92%, and 0.35–0.41). Vitamin C and total acid in local banana flour ranged from 0.51–2.34 mg/100 g and 0.62–2.25 respectively, muli bananas had the highest content of vitamin C and total acid with values of 2.34 mg/100 g and 2.25%. Case Study: Growth Performance and Business Analysis of Brown-Marbled Grouper (Epinephelus fuscoguttatus) in Nursery and Grow-Out Cultivation

Grouper fish, particularly the brown-marbled grouper (Epinephelus fuscoguttatus), are among the most economically significant marine species widely farmed and exported. This study aimed to analyze the growth performance and business analysis of the production of brown-marbled grouper, both in nursery and grow-out segments. The research was conducted using a case study method at a governmental production and research center located in Lampung Province, Indonesia. Primary data were collected through field observations, while secondary data were obtained from interviews with farm personnel. The study revealed that the nursery phase faced significant challenges, with larval survival rates as low as 4.2%. In contrast, survival rates improved considerably in larger fish, demonstrating better resilience as they grow (reaching 92-93%). From a business perspective, the grow-out activity was found to be more profitable due to lower investment costs. However, it requires a longer period to raise the fish to market size. Both nursery and grow-out operations proved to be profitable, with respective R/C ratios of 1.6-2.0. Overall, while grouper farming is economically viable, it requires careful management to overcome the high mortality in the early life stages and to optimize the investment cost-effectiveness of the nursery phase.

The Contestation of Islamic Boarding School Womens's View of Wifes' Rights in Poligamy

This study examines the contention around Islamic boarding school women's view of wives' rights in polygamous marriages. It aims to answer academic questions, specifically how and why there is contention among Islamic boarding school women over the rights of wives in polygamy. Furthermore, it also aims to answer what consequences this contestation has for the practice of polygamy, which is common in Islamic boarding schools. This paper is an empirical research that takes a sociological perspective. The analysis is based on Pierre Bourdieu's Cultural Sociology theory. Data were gathered through an interview study with research subjects from five traditional Islamic boarding schools in Lampung Province. The findings of this study show that the contestation of wives' rights in polygamy is influenced by the level of understanding of religious texts and norms, social and economic realities, and the strength of the patriarchal traditions and systems that surround it. Most women are denied the opportunity to fight for their bodily and spiritual rights, both before and after polygamous marriage occurs. Women in Islamic boarding schools recognize that men's supremacy influences the neglect of women's rights in polygamy because their understanding of religious texts is conservative. Women have no bargaining power when their husbands seek to practice polygamy. Conservatives believe that polygamy is a fate and consequence that women who want to marry a caregiver or an Islamic boarding school leader (Kyai) must accept. A moderate perspective necessitates that polygamy be practiced with proportional rights between husband and wife. The repercussions of this contestation have resulted in a better appreciation of the importance of men's and women's rights being proportionate, as well as mutual protection.

Pengaruh Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka, Tingkat Pendidikan, Upah Minimum Kerja dan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia Terhadap Jumlah Penduduk Miskin di Provinsi Lampung

Poverty is one of the fundamental problems that is of concern to the central government in any country, nationally and internationally. Indonesia is one of the countries that is still trapped in the problem of poverty which has not yet been completely resolved. This research aims to analyze the influence of open unemployment, government expenditure, human development index on the number of poor in Lampung Province. The research data used is secondary data from publications by the Lampung Province Central Statistics Agency. The independent variables in this research are the influence of Open Unemployment and the Human Development Index, while the dependent variable is the Number of Poor People. The analysis technique used is Multiple Regression Analysis with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) Method. The research results show that Open Unemployment (TPT) research has a negative and insignificant effect on the number of poor people, education level (TP) has a negative and not significant effect on the number of poor people, the minimum wage (UMK) has a significant positive effect on the number of poor people, while the Human Development Index (HDI) has an insignificant negative effect on the number of poor people. The results of the F test, Open Unemployment, Government Expenditures and the Human Development Index have a simultaneous or equally significant positive effect on the Number of Poor People in Lampung Province.

The Influence of Technology Acceptance Model on Intention to Use Electronic Government Systems with Trust as a Mediation Variable (Study of the General Election Commission Secretariat State Civil Apparatus in Lampung Province)

The General Election Commission is a national, permanent and independent election organizing institution which is tasked with carrying out elections and has working areas throughout the territory of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. The problem that occurs in the research object is that the Technology Acceptance Model and electronic-based government systems create a gap for employees with various conditions of ability to use technology that continues to develop. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of the Technology Acceptance Model on the intention to use an electronic-based government system with trust as a mediating variable in the state civil apparatus of the General Election Commission Secretariat in Lampung Province. This research is quantitative research and was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis. The data used in this research was obtained from the results of questionnaire testing on 251 employees from the State Civil Apparatus Secretariat of the General Election Commission in Lampung Province who were sampled in the research using the Stratified random sampling technique. The results obtained from this research are that Perceived Ease of Us (PeoU) has a positive and significant effect on the intention to use SPBE, Perceived Usefulness (PU) has a positive and significant effect on the intention to use SPBE, Perceived Ease of Us (PeoU) has a positive and significant effect on trust in SPBE, Perceived Usefulness (PU) has a positive and significant effect on trust in SPBE, Trust in SPBE has a negative and insignificant effect on intention to use SPBE, Trust in SPBE is unable to mediate the influence of Perceived Ease of Us (PeoU) on intention to use SPBE and Trust in SPBE is not able to mediate the influence of Perceived Usefulness (PU) on intention to use SPBE.

Analisis Pengaruh Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka Dan Inflasi Terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Diprovinsi Lampung (2012-2021)

This research aims to analyze the influence of the open unemployment rate and inflation on economic growth in Lampung Province in the 2012-2021 period. The data used is secondary data obtained from the Lampung Provincial Government Financial Statistics and the Central Statistics Agency. The analytical methods used include normality tests, multicollinearity tests, heteroscedasticity tests, and autocorrelation tests. The results of the analysis show that the open unemployment rate and inflation have a negative influence on economic growth in Lampung Province. The implication of this research is the need to increase investment, improve workforce qualifications, stable inflation policies, and economic diversification to increase economic growth in Lampung Province.

Analisis Pengaruh PDRB, Tingkat Pengangguran dan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia Terhadap Tingkat Kemiskinan Diprovinsi Lampung Tahun 2021-2021

This research aims to analyze the relationship between Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), unemployment rate, and Human Development Index (HDI) with the poverty rate in Lampung Province during the 2021-2021 period. The data used is secondary data obtained from various official sources. Statistical analysis methods, including correlation and regression analysis, are used to test the relationship between these variables. The research results show that there is a relationship between GRDP, unemployment rate, HDI, and poverty rate in Lampung Province. The implications of these findings are discussed in the context of economic and social development policy at the regional level.

Analysis of Decentralization in the Central Government's Acquisition of Provincial Road Management

Infrastructure is a crucial aspect necessary for a state to perform its various functions. One type of infrastructure that plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth mobility of the general public is roads. Unfortunately, in Indonesia, the quality of road networks cannot be described as ideal. The substandard condition of these roads has drawn public concern, particularly following a social media post by a resident of Lampung Province criticizing the quality of roads there. In response to this public attention, the Central Government decided to assume the duties, authority, and responsibility for repairing 15 (fifteen) roads in Lampung Province. This decision has sparked new concerns among the public regarding the centralization of duties, authority, and responsibilities, which could undermine the spirit of decentralization. Based on the findings presented in this article, it can be asserted that the central government's assumption of the duties, authority, and responsibilities of local governments does not violate prevailing laws and regulations and is in accordance with them. Nevertheless, the phenomenon of the central government taking over these responsibilities warrants attention. This case highlights that the Lampung Provincial Government is not entirely capable of managing the tasks mandated by the Central Government. Therefore, from the findings of this case, it is evident that there is still a significant need for the maturation of Regional Governments in fulfilling the duties, authority, and responsibilities entrusted to them.

Determinan Pemeriksaan Triple Eliminasi pada Ibu Hamil di Wilayah Operasional Puskesmas Pagar Dewa dan Puskesmas Kibang Budi Jaya Kabupaten Tulang Bawang Barat

In Lampung Province, a 100% completion rate for triple elimination exams was the projected goal for 2022. Nevertheless, the collected data shows that the achievement—at 84.1%—is less than the goal. Comparably, the accomplishment rate in Tulang Bawang Barat Regency is at 83.1%. In the Tulang Bawang Barat working region, Kibang Budi Jaya and Pagar Dewa Public Health Center only obtained 62% and 52.4%, respectively. The purpose of this study is to determine the variables that pregnant women in Tulang Bawang Barat Regency's working regions of Pagar Dewa and Kibang Budi Jaya Health Center perceive influence their intention to undergo triple elimination. Cross-sectional design, analytical survey research methodology is used. Proportional random sampling was used to conduct the study in Pagar Dewa and Kibang Budi Jaya Health Center, Tulang Bawang Barat Regency, from September to October 2023. Tests for reliability and validity were carried out using Cronbach's alpha and the Pearson product moment. SPSS was used to perform univariate, bivariate, and multivariate data analysis. According to the findings, pregnant women who are well educated (46%), have a positive attitude (50.7%), have support from family/husband and healthcare professionals (51.5%), and live close to Health Center (51.2%) are more likely to have triple elimination exams. In multivariate analysis, the primary element is the attitudes of the respondents. The report makes recommendations for improving communication campaigns for healthcare providers to encourage increased involvement of pregnant women in triple elimination exams, as well as training in HIV/AIDS, syphilis, and hepatitis B counseling.

Application of the Artificial Neural Network Algorithm to Predict the Realization of the Duty Tax on the Name of Motor Vehicles in Lampung Province

Regional taxes, specifically the Motor Vehicle Name Return Tax (BBNKB), provide the primary source of revenue for regions from the several forms of taxes. The BBNKB tax is crucial in funding government and regional development due to its significant annual growth, encompassing four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicles. Furthermore, the BBNKB tax catalyzes regional economic expansion and significantly contributes to the government's income. Hence, predicting and forecasting the BBNKB Tax in Lampung Province is necessary to monitor future tax rate fluctuations. That will enable the government to devise innovative tax payment systems and establish tax revenue targets. This study utilizes the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) methodology, using many approaches for distributing training and testing data to forecast. In addition, we utilize hyper-tuning on several factors to obtain the most favourable configurations. The ideal model achieved has a training data allocation of 80% and a testing data allocation of 20%. It was trained for 50 epochs and used a batch size of 16. The model has exceptional predictability, attaining an accuracy rating of 96.51%. Additionally, it showcases a low Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) of 0.246 and a minimal Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) score of 3.48%. Therefore, it is appropriate to predict the next two-year term. As a result, the forecast for the amount of tax collected from motor vehicle name returns in Lampung has fluctuated.

ANALISIS DATA PANEL TRANSMISI HARGA BERAS DI PROVINSI LAMPUNG

The aims of this research are to examine the transmission of rice prices from the producer (miller) level to the consumer vertically, and to analyze the factors that influence determination of rice princes at the producer (miller) level in Lampung Province. The type of method applied in this research was descriptive research with quantitative approach. Data analysis was carried out using panel data from January 2020 to December 2022 fron 15 regencies/cities in Lampung Province. In addition, the data in this research was also analyzed by using Asymmetric Error Correction Model (AECM) and Ordinary Least Squares (OLS). The results obtained in this research indicate that a symmetrical transmission pattern of rice prices in the short term and an asymmetrical transmission pattern in the long term are occured in Lampung Province. Factors that influence the price of rice at the producer (miller) level in Lampung Province are the consumer price of rice, the price of imported rice, rice consumption, and the producer price of corn.Key words: economic valuation, travel cost method, visitor satisfaction

Analisis Dampak Pengangguran dan Tingkat Kemiskinan di Provinsi Lampung 2016-2020

The province of Lampung in Indonesia continues to face a great deal of poverty. The purpose of this study is to look at how poverty levels in this area are affected by population (X2) and unemployment (X1). Numerous primary and secondary sources of data are gathered, and relevant statistical techniques are applied to the analysis. The analysis's findings demonstrate that unemployment (X1) significantly affects Lampung's poverty level, with rising unemployment rates being correlated with rising poverty levels. Contrary to predictions, however, population size (X2) does not appear to have a meaningful impact on the amount of poverty. This implies that other variables might have a greater influence on how impoverished this area is. These results have significant ramifications for Lampung's development strategy. The main focus of policy should be on initiatives to lower the unemployment rate by increasing job opportunities for the populace and creating jobs through skill-training programs. Other aspects of poverty, such as access to healthcare and education, should also be taken into consideration.

Pengaruh Bonus Demografi Dan Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka Terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Di Provinsi Lampung Periode 2014-2023

Economic growth is an indicator of development success. Therefore, the higher the economic growth, the higher the welfare of the community. The success or failure of regional development depends on several indicators, including economic growth which reflects the growth of regional gross domestic product (GDP). In this research, we will examine the influence of the demographic bonus and Open Unemployment Rate on Economic Growth for the 2014-2023 Period. The data used in this research is secondary data, namely data obtained from a second source during the period 2014 to 2023. The type of data used in this research is time series data, namely time series data. Based on the research results, it shows that the independent variables influence Economic Growth (PE) in Lampung Province. Meanwhile, partially, the Demographic Bonus (BD) and Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) variables do not have a positive effect on Economic Growth (PE) in Lampung Province. BD and TPT together influence Economic Growth (PE) in Lampung Province in 2013-2022, using a confidence level of 95% or with an alpha (ɑ) of 0.05.

New parasitoids of Spodoptera frugiperda in Lampung Province, Indonesia

Lampung Province is one of the largest maize producers in Indonesia. The invasion of Spodoptera frugiperda into Indonesia led to damage in maize, thereby impacting production. In the invaded area, native natural enemies also played a role in controlling the population of S. frugiperda. Therefore, the exploration and identification of parasitoids associated with S. frugiperda were necessary to determine potential control strategies. Four species of parasitoids were discovered emerging from S. frugiperda larvae collected from four maize production areas in Lampung Province, Indonesia, i.e. Lampung Timur, Pesawaran, Pringsewu, and Lampung Selatan. The parasitation rate ranges from 3.17 to 4.81%. Morphological observations confirmed that the parasitoids belonged to the genera Senometopia (Diptera: Tachinidae), Eriborus (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae), Chelonus (Hymenoptera: Braconidae), and Drino (Palexorista) (Diptera: Tachinidae). Additionally, Cytochrome C Oxidase Subunit I (COI) sequence analysis revealed that the parasitoids were identified as Senometopia illota, Genus nr. Eriborus sp., Chelonus formosanus, and Drino (Pelexorista) sp. Senometopia illota and Genus nr. Eriborus sp. are newly recorded as parasitoids of S. frugiperda. This finding will provide valuable information concerning the global diversity and distribution of parasitoids, including Indonesia, as well as a basis for determining appropriate control strategies for S. frugiperda.

The Effect of Sodium Tripolyphosphate and Guar Gum on Physical Characteristics of Analog Rice from Gaplek Flour

Gaplek flour is a processed product of cassava preservation abundant during the harvest season in Lampung Province. The high carbohydrate content in cassava facilitates the processing of gaplek flour into carbohydraterich food source, such as analog rice. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the effect of adding STPP and guar gum on the formulation of analog rice made from 70% gaplek flour and 30% corn flour. Analog rice was produced using the extrusion method with a twin-screw extruder. The results showed that the addition of STPP did not affect water absorption characteristics. The solubility of rice in deep water also decreased with increasing amounts of STPP and guar gum. Meanwhile, guar gum significantly increased water absorption and reduced the solubility of rice in water. The degree of gelatinization decreased with the addition of both materials. The addition of 0.3-0.5% STPP and 0.5-2% guar gum had no significant effect on hardness, stickiness, elasticity, and cohesiveness of analog rice prepared using a cooker.
