EXPLORING THE EVOLUTION OF FAIRNESS TRAITS AMONG STUDENTS: A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS IN CENTRAL JAVA AND LAMPUNG PROVINCE

This research aims to elucidate the evolution of fairness character among students in Central Java and Lampung, while also investigating the impact of the environment on this developmental process. Employing a quantitative descriptive method and ANACOVA test, the researchers examine how the environment (domicile) influences the development of students' fairness character. The data collection encompasses various aspects of fairness character development, as defined by experts, including 1) utilization aspects; 2) appreciation aspect; 3) obedience; and 4) open attitude. The instrument used for assessing fairness character development in students underwent prior testing by experts to ensure alignment with the research subjects' characteristics. The study includes 553 students from Central Java province and 576 students from Lampung province. The research unfolds through stages involving instrument distribution, data collection, and subsequent analysis and interpretation. Results reveal a robust commitment in both Central Java and Lampung to character education, particularly emphasizing fairness. The majority of students demonstrate positive fairness character development. Notably, students in Central Java exhibit stronger characteristics in transparency (open thinking), whereas students in Lampung excel in the attitude aspect aligned with social roles. The development of fairness is intricately linked to the norms and customs prevalent in students' living environments. This underscores the significance of understanding local norms and customs, offering valuable insights for educators. Such insights contribute significantly to fostering fairness character development among students in Central Java and Lampung.

Analysis of platelet indice (MPV, PDW) on the severity of COVID-19 patients

The COVID-19 virus infection some time ago caused a pandemic and became a health problem in the world, including Indonesia. The cause of COVID-19 infection is the SARS-CoV-2 virus which can be detected by Real Time reverse-transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (rRT-PCR). Platelets play a role in inflammation and the pathogenesis of various inflammatory clinical conditions which are also affected by COVID-19 infection, which can change according to the severity of the infection. The purpose of this study was to analyze differences in MPV and PDW in the severity of COVID-19 patients. This type of research is an analytic observational study with a cross sectional research design. Data on platelet index values and the degree of severity were obtained from medical records during the period June to August 2021 from 209 COVID-19 patients treated at RSUD Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Lampung Province. Statistical tests were carried out using the Kruskal Wallis Annova test, followed by the Mann Whitney test. The results showed that there was a significant difference in the PDW index (p = 0.004) to the degree of severity of COVID-19, while the MPV index was not significantly different to the degree of severity of COVID-19. Excessive production of cytokines and acute phase reactants due to immune response and inflammation for COVID-19 infection, thereby affecting the development of megakaryocytes resulting in changes in the PDW Platelet index, the pathogenesis of SARS-CoV-2 infection is very complex and it is possible that the early stages of the disease do not affect all parameters hematology.

The Nyikok Tradition of Lampung Pepadun Indigenous People as a Fulfillment of Children's Rights and its Relevance to Indonesian Islamic Family Law

This research examines the implications of the nyikok tradition in Lampung Pepadun customary society on the fulfillment of children's rights and its relevance to the development of Islamic family law in Indonesia. This type of research is field research, which is conducted in the Lampung Pepadun indigenous community in Lampung Province. This type of research is field research, which is conducted in the Lampung Pepadun Customary Society in Lampung Province. Data sources in this research are primary and secondary data sources. Data analysis in this research uses qualitative methods. Analyzed inductive thinking approach. The results of the study that Nyikok in Lampung Pepadun cultural customs has a good purpose. Based on the Receptio A Contrario analysis, nyikok has compatibility with Islamic law, so that its practice can be applied by the indigenous people of Lampung Pepadun, because it has positive implications in fulfilling children's rights, on the other hand, it is also to protect the inherited property of the deceased father, to continue the breed so that the balance is not broken and to maintain the kinship system that has been established. The nyikok tradition has relevance to Islamic family law in Indonesia, which is relevant to KHI Article 14, Article 2 (1) of Law No. 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage and then the existence of nyikok in the context of child protection and care is relevant to Article 45 of Law No. 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage, that parents have an obligation to maintain and educate children.Keyword: Nyikok; Lampung Pepadun; Children's Rights; Indonesian Family Law.

Study of Economic Vulnerability and Its Influence on the Economy in Sumatera Island Using the Household Consumption Expenditure Approach

The readiness of a region to face shocks and spillover effects from the surrounding area needed to be developed early. Each region had different economic structure so that the policy and strategy that was used to deal with current and future global uncertainties should be different as well. This study aimed to analyze economic vulnerability and the characteristics of its grouping, and analyze the effect of inflation, unemployment rate, foreign investment, and economic vulnerability towards the economy of provinces in Sumatera. The method performed in this study was Cluster Analysis for grouping and creating economic vulnerability variable, Panel Regression Analysis to analyze the effect between variables in general, and GWPR (Geographically Weighted Panel Regression) analysis to analyze spatial effect of regions. The result showed that the variable of economic vulnerability had a negative and significant effect on household consumption expenditures, especially in the Province of Lampung and Sumatera Selatan.

Childcare in Lampung Saibatin Indigenous Community from the Perspective of Mubadalah and its Contribution to the Development of Family Law in Indonesia

This article examines childcare in the Lampung Saibatin indigenous community from the perspective of mubadalah and its contribution to the development of family law in Indonesia. This research is field research or filed research conducted in the Lampung Saibatin indigenous community in Lampung Province, conducting interviews with Lampung Saibatin traditional leaders and Lampung Saibatin indigenous people, analyzed qualitatively using the theory of mubadalah. The results of the study show that the Lampung Saibatin indigenous community has a pattern of childcare carried out by the mother, but as time goes by there are already some parents who have implemented that in childcare is carried out jointly by both parents. The existence of care that is dominated by the mother because the father earns a living for the needs of the family, on the other hand there is a classic paradigm that the wife's job is to take care of the house and children while the husband works. In this digital era, it is expected that childcare is carried out jointly, father and mother proportionally, so that this research contributes to campaigning for balanced parenting or mubadalah between father and mother. At the same time as an effort to educate the Lampung Saibatin community who still have a classic paradigm that emphasizes the dominance of childcare only to the mother, so that they can slowly change the paradigm into childcare that has a more balanced value of mubadalah between the father and mother.Keyword: Childcare; Lampung Saibaitin; Mubadalah

Keberlanjutan Program Pekarangan Pangan Lestari Anggota Kelompok Wanita Tani di Provinsi Lampung

 Development engaged in the food sector is one of the country's needs in increasing production and meeting needs, especially food. The Sustainable Food Yard Program (P2L) is one of the programs that is expected to be able to provide an increase in food production, especially for family consumption needs. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that influence the sustainability of the sustainable food garden program of women farmer groups in Lampung Province. The research method used is a quantitative method. The population in this study are members of the women's farmer group and stakeholders (stakeholders). Respondents studied amounted to 85 people. Data collection was carried out in June 2022. The data analysis method used was linear logistic regression analysis to determine the factors that influence program sustainability. The results showed that the level of sustainability of sustainable food gardens in Lampung Province was influenced by internal and external factors. Formal education, non-formal education, cosmopolitan level, number of family dependents, infrastructure, government support, market institutions and village nurseries and product marketing influence the level of sustainability of P2L in Lampung Province. Suggestions in this study are expected by certain parties, especially stakeholders and the government to be able to provide a forum and education for farmer women's groups in increasing knowledge and skills in managing and developing P2L programs.

The effect of composition and holding time on glaze production using basalt rock as a base

This research studied the potential use of local basalt and feldspar from Lampung Province, Indonesia, as glaze materials. Frit(s) are composed of changing basalt-to-feldspar weight ratios of A (30:70), B (50:50), C (70:30), and D (100:0) w/w%. The added 20% boric acid to the total weight reduces the process temperature to 1,000oC with holding times of 1, 4, and 8 hr(s). Based on the chemical composition test of the specimen, the four variations of the sample have SiO2 content above 40%, and the average SiO2/Al2O3 ratio is 4 and 5, which is usually a low-alumina glaze that will cause a glossy effect and have an amorphous structure. At point 2theta 29o, amorphous forms. Quartz (SiO2), albite (NaAlSi3O8), anorthite (CaAl2Si2O8), and coesite (SiO2) phases were discovered in the glaze specimens. The anorthite phase in glass-ceramic glaze gives a transparent glaze color due to the amorphous glassy phase formed during heat treatment. The findings of this study suggest that local materials based on basalt and feldspar may be used as glaze materials to provide a smooth texture and surface; the glaze layer is evenly distributed, can follow the full surface contour of the test specimen, and has low porosity.

The Effect Of Origami Games On Fine Motor Development In Children With Stunting Diagnosis (3-5 Years)

Stunting is still a problem for children in Indonesia, including in Lampung Province. Cases in Lampung Province are above the national average, namely 42.64% and the highest cases of stunting are in Central Lampung Regency with a prevalence rate of 52.68%. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of origami games on the fine motor development of children with a diagnosis of stunting (3-5 years) in Central Lampung Regency. The research designed was a quasi-experimental design with non-randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were stunted children aged 3-5 years, divided into a control group and experimental group. Each group consisted of 30 respondents and was selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results of bivariate analysis of the ability to squeeze with 5 fingers between the intervention group and the control group before and after the origami game intervention p-value 0.016, ability to fold p-value 0.074, cutting ability p-value 0.018, line ablility p-value 0.034. This study it can be concluded that origami games can improve fine motor development in children with a diagnosis of stunting. It is hoped that parents can stimulate the fine motoric development of children by using the origami game method.

Implementation of digital marketing at the Grand Kutilang Syariah Hotel Bandar Lampung during the recovery period after the Covid-19 pandemic: A sharia business perspective

IntroductionPrevious studies have analyzed the application of digital marketing in the hotel industry during the Covid-19 pandemic. However, research on digital marketing in the context of the hotel industry with an Islamic approach is still limited.ObjectivesThis study discusses the implementation of digital marketing in a sharia hotel as response to the Covid-19 pandemic. MethodThis study used a qualitative approach with a case study at Grand Kutilang Syariah Hotel Bandar Lampung. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires, and data analysis was carried out using inductive technique.ResultsThe Grand Kutilang Sharia Hotel, as part of tourism and hospitality industry in Lampung Province, employed digital marketing strategies to maintain business continuity during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. The implementation of digital marketing in The Grand Kutilang Sharia Hotel during the Covid-19 pandemic, involves optimizing the use of social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok. This implementation aligns with Sharia business principles.ImplicationsThis study shows the importance of adopting technological advancement in sharia hotel industry. Sharia hotels should take advantage of technological developments to maintain their business.Originality/NoveltyThis study contributes to the literature regarding sharia hotel marketing strategies in facing the crisis.

The Problems in Implementing the Function of the Integrated Law Enforcement Center (Gakkumdu) as an Election Law Enforcement Institution

The Integrated Law Enforcement Center, hereinafter referred to as Gakkumdu, is the center of law enforcement activities for election crimes consisting of elements. The purpose of establishing Gakkumdu is to encourage the election judicial process to take place quickly and accurately. This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Sentra Gakkumdu function in Lampung Province and the inhibiting factors in the implementation of the Sentra Gakkumdu function in election law enforcement in Lampung Province. The results showed that the implementation of the function of the Sentra Gakkumdu in law enforcement of election criminal offenses by the Sentra Gakkumdu in the elections in Lampung Province was ineffective. This can be seen from the many cases handled; not all of them have been followed up on by the Gakkumdu center. The main problem in implementing the law enforcement function of election crimes by the Gakkumdu center is that there are often differences in legal perceptions among Gakkumdu members in determining whether a violation meets the elements of an election violation.

Pengaruh Penanaman Modal Dalam Negeri (PMDN) terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Provinsi Lampung

Economic growth cannot be separated from the factors that support it, one of which is investment. Currently, investment has become a very strong instrument in encouraging regional economic growth, including Lampung Province. One source of investment is Domestic Investment. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of Domestic Investment on the economic growth of Lampung Province. The research method used is the analytical statistical method. This method is used to see the influence of Domestic Investment on the economic growth of Lampung Province. The analysis technique uses simple linear regression. The research results showed that Domestic Investment had no effect on the economic growth of Lampung Province.

Analisis Tingkat Kebisingan pada Workshop Alsintan UPTD Balai Benih Induk Tanaman Pangan dan Alsintan Provinsi Lampung

Activities in agricultural machinery workshops must concern with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), especially the physical conditions of the work environment. There are potential physical dangers, especially noise from machines in the workshop. This research aims to analyze the noise level at the UPTD Agricultural Machinery Workshop, Main Center for Food Crops and Agricultural Machinery, Lampung Province, and provides recommendations for control engineering. The parameters observed in the research were noise, temperature and humidity. Noise level was measured by using a sound level meter for the source of the sound when the machines were turned on, at fifty measurement points determined based on applicable regulations. Temperature and humidity were measured using a digital hygrometer thermometer, at three observation points. The measurement results were compared with the applied quality standards in Indonesia. Noise measurement resulted (88.29 ± 11.58) dBA, with 7 sound sources turned on simultaneously. Based on Minister of Manpower Regulation No. 5 of 2018, at this noise level the maximum exposure time for workers is 4 hours per day. If the time limit exceeds, workers must use ear protection or do the job in rotation (in shift work). Average temperature measurement resulted (28.8 ± 0.3)°C and average humidity measurement (61.5 ± 7.8)%. Referring to the Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No. 1405 of 2002, the air temperature and humidity at the UPTD Agricultural Machinery Workshop, Main Center for Food Crops and Agricultural Machinery, Lampung Province is still above the requirements for working environmental health. The Role of Women in Maintaining Family Income in Islamic Economy and Mubādalah Review

One of the motivations for women to work in the public sector is to increase family income. Usually, the husband's income is insufficient to meet family needs, so some women work in this sector. This study aimed to describe the Islamic views and conditions of working women in the Kita Muslim Fashion Convection, Way Serdang District, Mesuji Regency, Lampung Province, in helping to increase family income. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data sources consist of primary data from interviews and secondary data from research-supporting documents. At the same time, the data analysis model uses interaction analysis. The results of this study are that Islam positions women as equal to men, where they also have rights and responsibilities within the family. Husband and wife can complement each other's tasks in the family. Women can replace or share the burden of meeting family needs with their partners. This phenomenon is similar to the women workers at the Kita Muslim Fashion Convection, Way Serdang District, Mesuji Regency, Lampung Province, who contribute to helping the family economy so that household needs can be fulfilled.

Pendapatan dan Kerentanan Petani Kopi Robusta di Sekitar Kawasan Taman Nasional Bukit Barisan Selatan

Robusta coffee is a plantation commodity that has high potential considering the trend of consumption and large production in several provinces in Indonesia, one of which is Lampung Province, but the increasing production has an impact on land use in the forest area of Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park (TNBBS) for coffee farming activities. Moreover, the pandemic that hit around the world create new challenges in this coffee farming business. The purpose of this study was to analyze and compare the income level of coffee farming and the vulnerability of coffee farmer families due to the Covid-19 pandemic around TNBBS, both inside and outside TNBBS. Data analysis used farm income analysis and livelihood vulnerability index (LVI) analysis. The results of this study indicate that the income of farmers in the BBSNP area is smaller, namely Rp. 9,833,453.57 while outside the TNBBS area of ​​Rp. 12,571,781.31, the R/C ratio also shows that farming outside the region is the most profitable. Differences in the distance of farmers' land within the area and outside the area contributed greatly to this difference in number. The vulnerability of farming families inside and outside TNBBS is low to moderate in both LVI and LVI calculations considering the IPCC definition. Inadequate livelihood strategies and social networks in some farming households contributed to the LVI figures resulting from the analysis.

Analysis of the Effect of Government Expenditure, Tax Revenue, and Road Infrastructure on Economic Growth in Lampung Province

Economic growth is essential for the prosperity of a country. Adequate infrastructure facilities, including roads, electricity, and water, are essential to encourage economic activity and ensure equitable development and community welfare. This study aims to determine the impact of government spending, tax revenue, and road infrastructure on economic growth in Lampung Province over 11 years using the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) method and processed with E-Views 12 software. In this study, multiple regression will be used to examine the effect of the independent variable (Government Expenditure, Tax Revenue, and Road Infrastructure) partially on the dependent variable (Economic Growth). The findings revealed that Economic growth was significantly influenced favorably by transportation infrastructure., while Road Infrastructure showed a significant negative influence. This article highlights the importance of developing a strong transportation system to boost economic growth and improve well-being.

Dynamics of Dismissal of Regional Heads in Lampung Province Perspective of Law and Fiqh Siyasah

This research aims to determine the impeachment or dismissal of regional heads in Lampung Province from the perspective of Law and Islamic jurisprudence. This problem is interesting to research. Since this province was founded, at least five regional heads have been dishonorably dismissed for committing Corruption, namely the Regent of South Lampung, the Regent of North Lampung, the Regent of Tanggamus, the Regent of Mesuji and the Regent of Central Lampung. This research uses a library study method, is descriptive-analytical, and uses primary and secondary legal data sources, which are then analyzed using the comparative method. This research concluded that the impeachment of regional heads in Lampung Province was carried out because they violated their oath of office, namely committing Corruption as regulated in Law Number 9 of 2015 concerning Regional Government, which is the second amendment to Law Number 23 of 2014 concerning regional government. Corruption in Indonesia is an extraordinary crime because it has a significant and widespread impact. Instead, the budget for regional development and people's welfare is taken for their interests. In Fiqh Siyasah, this issue is included in siyasah qadhaiyah. Every community must obey the laws and regulations. So, if a regional head violates the Law, he can be dishonorably dismissed for acting wickedly and unjustly. The corrupt behavior of regional heads includes sinful acts and forms of cruelty by leaders toward their people.

Utilization of PjBL-STEM Based Interactive e-modules to Improve Visual Literacy: Teacher and Student Perspectives

This research aims to describe the use of interactive e-modules based on PjBL-STEM activities to train students' visual literacy. This research uses mixed methods with sequential explanatory design to obtain quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data was obtained by administering questionnaires to 39 science teachers in Lampung province and 149 junior high school students and qualitative data was obtained from interviews with teachers. The research results show as many as 41.70% of teacher respondents were new to using e-module teaching materials. The e-module they use is not yet interactive and the activities in the e-module do not invite students to carry out projects. The results of the teacher questionnaire were only 15.3% of teacher respondents using the PjBL learning model. As many as 74.5% of teacher respondents stated that the e-modules used had not been used to train students' visual literacy. The results of the questionnaire and interviews of teachers responded positively to the existence of teaching materials that can train students' visual literacy.

Engineering Design Process (EDP) Strategy Integrated PjBL-STEM in Learning Program: Need Analysis to Stimulate Numeracy Literacy Skills on Renewable Energy Topic

This research constitutes a preliminary study aimed at determining the needs of teachers and students in the learning process, particularly in the context of physics subjects related to renewable energy. The chosen research method is a survey, conducted among 27 physics teachers and 59 high school students in MIPA field in Lampung Province using Google Forms. The collected data is then curated and analyzed to identify and address these educational needs. The results of the data analysis reveal a demand for learning programs that can enhance students' numeracy and literacy skills during the learning process. According to the survey, only 43% of teachers and 24% of high school students majoring in Mathematics and Natural Sciences are aware of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This aligns with the finding that only 40% of teachers have integrated PjBL-STEM into their learning programs. The worksheets lack activities that can stimulate students' numeracy and literacy skills, thereby impeding their active engagement in renewable energy learning. These findings are further corroborated by student questionnaires, which indicate that 55% of students feel they face limitations in understanding materials related to renewable energy. Additionally, 85% of physics teachers express concerns about students' difficulties in grasping the concept of renewable energy. Consequently, the development of an integrated renewable energy learning program incorporating PjBL-STEM becomes imperative.

Risk Analysis on the Cassava Value Chain in Central Lampung Regency

The Central Lampung Regency is the center of cassava production in Lampung Province, the Indonesia’s largest cassava-producing province. Cassava has much promise; however, various risks arise throughout the value chain. Risks in the agricultural sector, including cassava farming, are unavoidable and severely impact stakeholders and consumers. This study aimed to identify the risks and the most effective mitigation measures for the cassava value chain. This research was conducted using the House of Risk (HOR) method, divided into two phases: HOR 1 and HOR 2. It involved 286 samples encompassing 263 farmers, six traders, three tapioca industries, eight non-tapioca industries, and six financial institutions. The risks were determined through the Supply Chain Operational Reference (SCOR) model. The results unveiled several priority risks in the cassava value chain, consisting of unpredictable weather changes, scarcity of fertilizers, the absence of farming standards, limited capital, delivery technical problems, price fluctuations, negligence of the workforce, default credit, and lack of customer or farmer knowledge leading to confusion. Furthermore, the risk mitigation actions covered preventing the risks of cassava farming; applying appropriate technology; utilizing production, marketing, and financing system assistance; preventing the risks of cassava trading business; implementing a structured market system; developing access to financing, institutions, and markets; developing marketing infrastructure; developing adaptive farming; monitoring during the credit period; socializing risk management to employees; and providing institutional, financing, and production assistance.

Case Report: Unilateral Secondary Spontaneous Pneumothorax caused by Pulmonary Tuberculosis in a Heavy Smoker

Pneumothorax is an accumulation of air between the lungs and the chest wall that can occur either spontaneously or in conjunction with an underlying lung disease (primary spontaneous pneumothorax; secondary spontaneous pneumothorax, respectively). The primary manifestations of this ailment are chest discomfort and dyspnea. Secondary spontaneous pneumothorax is a common and potentially life-threatening consequence of pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) that frequently occurs in clinical settings and requires prompt and effective treatment. This case report seeks to comprehend the underlying mechanisms of spontaneous pneumothorax resulting from tuberculosis and effectively diagnose and treat this condition. A 37-year-old male presented to the emergency department at Abdoel Moeloek Regional General Hospital in Lampung Province with worsening dyspnea, followed by coughing and right-sided chest pain. By doing a thorough analysis of the patient's medical history, performing a physical examination, and conducting other tests, it was determined that the patient is suffering from a right secondary spontaneous pneumothorax, which is a result of pulmonary tuberculosis. The patient had WSD installation management and thereafter received hospitalization for symptomatic therapy and antibiotic treatment.
