This study analyzed the effects of emotional exhaustion on pro-social behaviors of private bodyguards, and then verified whether emotional labor of private bodyguards acts as a moderating variable in a significant influence pathway. To this end, a survey was conducted on 275 private bodyguards and the following results were obtained.BR First, the lack of achievement in emotional exhaustion of private bodyguards negatively affected customer service and worker cooperation within the role of pro-social behavior, had a negative effect on the cooperation factors of the workers even in the dehumanization of emotional exhaustion. BR Second, only the emotional dissonance factors of emotional labor showed that the dehumanization factor among the emotional exhaustion of the private bodyguards had a moderating effect on the pathway of cooperative factors of workers in pro-social behavior.BR Based on these results, it was concluded that it is also important for private bodyguards to establish a culture of communication between employees by adjusting emotional dissonance to raise the value of the occupational group by pro-social behavior.
