The Optimizing Village Government Performance in Preparing Village Development Work Plans (RKPDes) in Tanjung Jorong Village, Tualan Hulu District, East Kotawaringin Regency

The success of village development does not solely rely on the active role of all community elements and other related institutions but also depends on optimizing the performance of the village government in drafting the Village Government Work Plan (RKPDes). The drafting process of the RKPDes requires coordination and collaboration from various parties, such as the community, Village Consultative Body (BPD), and other vertical agencies, as a means to create a participatory, transparent, and accountable plan. This research employs a qualitative method with descriptive analysis, utilizing data collection techniques including Observation, Interviews, Documentation, and Triangulation (combining the three techniques). The research was conducted in Tanjung Jorong Village, Tualan Hulu Subdistrict, Kotawaringin Timur Regency, from August to September. This study applies the performance assessment theory through four indicators: Efficiency, Effectiveness, Equity, and Responsiveness. Based on the research findings, it was found that the village government in Tanjung Jorong has not yet carried out the RKPDes drafting process effectively or optimally. This is evidenced by several indicators, such as effectiveness, efficiency, equity, and responsiveness, all of which still face significant issues that crucially impact the 2023-2024 RKPDes drafting process and, consequently, will affect the outcomes of village development.

Agroforestry system on peatlands in Pulau Hanaut, Kotawaringin Timur: A win-win solution to preserve peatland functions

Agroforestry on peatlands in Pulau Hanaut sub-district of Kotawaringin Timur is an approach that combines agricultural crops with trees on peatlands. The location of this project is in Serambut and Babaung villages, Pulau Hanaut sub-district. Primary data were collected through Focus Group Discussions (FGD), interviews, and direct observation in the field, and secondary data were collected by studying the related documents that existed. All the data then were analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis. This site has a peat depth of less than 50 cm and a maximum water table between -10 to -15 cm. Peatland is a unique ecosystem that requires specific considerations for agroforestry practices. Implementing proper water management techniques, such as controlled water levels and irrigation, can help maintain the hydrological balance. Tree species selection that are suitable for peatland conditions were chosen by the communities, such as fruit tree species, cashew nuts, and enrichment planting on the current coconut farm. In addition, fire prevention is also an important part of peatland management. Therefore, zero-burning and organic farming practices should be implemented. Implementing agroforestry on peatlands requires careful planning, considering the unique characteristics of peatland ecosystems, and the ecological, social, and economic aspects of the local community. Local stakeholders’ involvement in decision-making processes is highly recommended to ensure the success of agroforestry initiatives on peatlands in the sub-district, which is part of the Mentaya-Katingan Peat Hydrological Unit, Central Kalimantan.

Effect of Trust, Quality of Service to Jne Express Consumer Satisfaction in Sampit District, Kotawaringin Timur District

The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence consumer satisfaction with JNE Express freight forwarding services in Sampit District, Kotawaringin Timur. District, in the study of 100 people using the Slovin formula. By using the Accidental Sampling method. With the provisions of the data analysis in this study is quantitative using multiple linear regression method and the data is analyzed using the SPSS V.23 program. Based on the results of this study indicate that Trust and Service Quality significantly influence Consumer Satisfaction in JNE Express freight forwarding services in Sampit District, Kotawaringin Timur Regency. Simultaneously the independent variable (Trust and Service Quality) significantly influences the dependent variable (Customer Satisfaction) on JNE Express freight forwarding services in Sampit District, Kotawaringin Timur Regency. R Square value of 0.571 or 57.1% means the variable Customer Satisfaction is influenced by the Trust and Quality of Consumers while the remaining 42.9% is influenced by other variables not used in this study.

PENGOLAHAN LINDI (LEACHEATE) DENGAN METODE MOVING BED BIOFILM REACTOR (MBBR) DENGAN PROSES AEROBIK-ANOKSIK UNTUK MENURUNKAN KONSENTRASI COD, TSS, DAN AMONIA

Lindi mempunyai kandungan bahan organik, TSS, dan ammonia yang tinggi. Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR) merupakan salah satu pengolahan biologi yang dapat menurunkan konsentrasi yang terkandung di air lindi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kemampuan MBBR dalam menurunkan kandungan bahan organik, TSS, dan ammonia, dengan menggunakan variasi waktu detensi proses aerobik-anoksik dan media lekat. Reaktor di operasikan secara batch. Variasi media yang digunakan adalah kaldness K1 dan K3, sedangkan waktu detensi aerobik 14,5 jam - anoksik 10 jam dan aerobik 10 jam - anoksik 7 jam. Hasil yang didapatkan menunujukkan bahwa MBBR dapat digunakan untuk mengolah lindi. Penurunan konsentrasi COD, TSS, dan Ammonia paling baik terjadi pada media K1 waktu detensi aerobik 14,5- anoksik 10 jam dengan penyisihan mencapai 74,8%, 93,14%, dan 83,72%.

ANALISIS PROGRAM PEMBERDAYAAN ORGANISASI PENGELOLA ZAKAT DI KABUPATEN KOTAWARINGIN TIMUR DAN KOTAWARINGIN BARAT

The purpose of this study was to analyze, study, and find out the obstacles to various empowerment programs for zakat management organizations in empowering communities in East Kotawaringin and West Kotawaringin Regencies, Central Kalimantan Province. This type of research is field research with the research subjects being BAZNAS Kotawaringin Timur, LAZ Nurul Fikri Sampit Branch, BAZNAS Kotawaringin Barat and LAZNAS Yakesma Pangkalan Bun Branch. Data in this study were collected by interviews, observation and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis was carried out deductively to obtain an overview of events in the field and then conclusions related to the research were obtained. The results of this study indicate that the empowerment program for zakat collection organizations in Kotawaringin Timur and Kotawaringin Barat districts in empowering communities through zakat needs to pay attention to the form and mechanism of the program, mustahik's response, and continuous assistance, developing long-term productive businesses, providing productive business training, and opening job opportunities for mustahik through cooperation with the government and the private sector. Obstacles faced by these institutions include a lack of human resources, good faith from recipients of funds, and community literacy. Therefore, efforts are needed to change the mindset and increase community literacy as well as establish cooperation with related agencies to increase the effectiveness of the empowerment program.

Analysis of the proportion of food expenditures for rice farming households in Lampuyang Village, Teluk Sampit District, Kotawaringin Timur Regency

The purpose of this study was to determine the proportion of food expenditure to the total expenditure of rice farming households. Knowing the quantity and quality of household food consumption of rice farmers. Knowing rice farmer household food security. In this research, 41 rice farming households were taken as samples. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The method of taking the research location was carried out by purposive sampling, namely in the village of Lampu which is in the Teluk Sampit District, East Kotawaringin Regency. Types and sources of data used consist of primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews, observation, and recording. Data analysis method is descriptive with average and percentage analysis. Based on the results of the study, the average total expenditure of rice farming households was IDR 2,752,117.40. It is known that spending on food is around IDR 1,647,079.45 (59.85%) and spending on non-food is around IDR 1,105,037.95 (40.15%). The average energy adequacy level of rice farming households is in the sufficient category of 51.8%, while the average protein adequacy level of rice farming households is 90.2% which is in the sufficient category. Conditions Food security in rice farming households is mostly food vulnerable, namely 36.6%, followed by food shortages of 29.3%, food insecurity of 19.5%, while food secure households are only 14.6%. So that it can be said that the food security of farmer households is still relatively poor.

The threatened plant species in Central Kalimantan of Indonesia and its utilization potencies

According to the IUCN Red List of plant species in Indonesia in 2021, the amount and the status of those threatened plant species are one Extinct, three Extinct in the Wild, and 856 Critically Endangered, Endangered, and Vulnerable. The ex-situ plant conservation of the threatened plants becomes very urgent in Indonesia including in Kalimantan. The purpose of this study is to find out the species and the categories of the threatened plant species distributed in Central Kalimantan of Indonesia, as well as their potential utilization. At least 125 threatened plant species of Indonesia were distributed in Central Kalimantan. The plant family with the greatest number of threatened plant species distributed in Central Kalimantan was Dipterocarpaceae (46 spp), and Myristicaceae (12 spp). In the total of those threatened plant species, 2 spp were in the category of Extinct in the Wild (EW), 16 spp Critical Endangered (CR), 30 spp Endangered (EN), and 77 spp Vulnerable (VU). Those species had the potency to be utilized for timber, food source/fruit, medicinal, and ornamental plants. The district that possessed the most threatened plant species was Katingan (40 spp.) followed by Kotawaringin Timur (37 spp.), Murung Raya (35 spp.), and Barito Utara (29 spp).

This study aims to determine how big the influence of land area, selling price, production results and production costs on rice farmers' income both simultaneously and partially. The population in this study were all rice farmers in Pulau Hanaut District, Kab. Kotawaringin Timur, which amounted to 184 farmers and which was only used as a sample, amounted to 126 respondents using a non-probability sampling technique. Sources of data in this study are primary data and secondary data. The process of data analysis using classical assumption test, multiple regression analysis and hypothesis testing with the help of SPSS. The results of the instrument test show that the variables of land area, selling price, production yield, and production costs simultaneously have a significant and positive effect on the income level of rice farmers in Pulau Hanaut District, Kab. East Kotawaringin

PEMBERIAN SANKSI BERUPA PEMBEBASAN JABATAN OLEH BUPATI DI KOTAWARINGIN TIMUR KALIMANTAN TENGAH

Sanggul is a State Civil Apparatus who has brought the "Decree of the East Kotawaringin Regent Concerning Disciplinary Punishment for Exemption from Position" to the Palangkaraya State Administrative Court as the subject of the dispute. The issue with this article is that the steps used by the Kotawaringin Timur regent to inspect Sanggul and impose sanctions on his dismissal from office in Decision 3/G/2021/PTUN.Plk were not in accordance with the steps outlined in PP No. 53/2010 on Civil Service Discipline. The research methodology employed is normative juridical, which analyzes primary and secondary evidence before drawing inferences based on qualitative analysis. The findings of this study show that the Kotawaringin Timur regent's methods for applying disciplinary sanctions were procedurally faulty since they did not follow the PP above. According to the study's findings, because the Kotawaringin regent did not follow the inspection procedure exactly as required by the government regulation on civil servant discipline, he was deemed careless and negligent in carrying out the administrative stages. The East Kotawaringin regent then brought about the repercussions of not achieving the requirements of Articles 23 and 24 of the PP above.

Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Rekomendasi Wisata Kotawaringin Timur Berbasis Web MenggunakanMetode Item-Based Collaborative Filtering

Kotawaringin Timur Regency has many tourist objects and is rich in arts and culture spread in several sub-districts. Efforts to increase the promotion of KOTIM tourism continue to be carried out with the support of the application of technology, one of which is smart tourism. Prospective tourists tend to use internet technology to find information on tourist attractions they want to visit, rather than using the services of agents or travel agencies. Prospective tourists who want to visit East Kotawaringin need information and recommendations that are accurate, fast and economical. Recommendation systems have been widely used in the business world to help provide recommendations for various products. Therefore, a recommendation system is also used to generate tourist recommendations in East Kotawaringin using the Item-Based Collaborative Filtering method which utilizes rating data by visitors based on their travel experience. This system is in the form of a website where users can provide a rating for every tour in East Kotawaringin. Among the 35 tours in East Kotawaringin, as many as 7 tours are used in the recommendation system. These tours are Ujung Pandaran Beach, Red Kalap Gadur Waterfall, Jelawat Fish Tourism Icon, Balanga Roundabout, KOTIM Cultural Miniature Park, Satiruk Beach and Betang Tumbang Gagu. The result of the use of this recommendation system is the display of a tourist recommendation page that can be accessed by the user in the form of tours that have the highest rating equipped with detailed information on supporting tourism facilities.Keywords : Recommendation system, collaborative filtering method, tourism, East KotawaringinÂ

KLASIFIKASI PENERIMA BANTUAN SOSIAL DI DESA BATUAH MENGGUNAKAN METODE ALGORITMA C4.5

Batuah Village, Seranau District, Kotawaringin Timur Regency is a village with a difficult economy. The population is increasing, the problems of life are also getting more diverse. Every citizen needs a decent life, so the government held a social assistance program for the residents of Batuah village. This program is expected to help underprivileged families as one of the government's efforts to overcome poverty. Food assistance must be given to people who are entitled to receive it. But sometimes there is still social jealousy caused by the closeness of neighbors and other factors. Other problems that occur include registered residents who have died still receiving assistance, residents who had problems last year still received assistance, and there were residents who received double social assistance. The purpose of this research is to build a simpler role or decision tree to determine the recipients of social assistance. In addition, this study also aims to determine the values of precision, recall, and accuracy. The algorithm used to build the decision tree is Algorithm C4.5. The results of the study using 100 data samples showed that the algorithm's performance reached an accuracy value of 93.00%, a precision value of 100.00%, and a recall value of 65.00%. The performance of the algorithm produced in this study is included in the very good category so that the decision tree resulting from this study can be used as a recommendation to determine social recipients in Batuah village.

Analisis Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Penentuan Penerima Beasiswa Menggunakan Metode SAW dan AHP

Scholarship is one of the allowances given to students as study aid provided by the government. Likewise with the Kotawaringin Timur government, which annually provides scholarship assistance to students with limited conditions and quotas. Formal educational institutions under the auspices of the Kotim Regency Education Office, students or college students get a quota for those participating in the scholarship program for underprivileged and high achieving criteria from the government. Therefore, scholarships must be given to students who deserve and deserve to get it in accordance with the regulations that have been set at the Kotim Regional Secretariat office. This selection process requires accuracy and a long time, because each data is compared with each other according to predetermined criteria. This study resulted in the final value of the comparison between the SAW and AHP methods. The final result with the SAW method the highest value obtained by the fifth alternative with 100. While the final result with the AHP method obtained the highest value by A1 with a value of 0.4734.

The Islamic Guidance and Counseling Service Management at MAN Kotawaringin Timur

Penelitian ini mempunyai latar belakang adanya semua tenaga pelaksana Bimbingan dan Konseling tidak berpendidikan khusus Bimbingan dan Konseling Islam, rasio guru Bimbingan dan peserta didik yang tidak ideal, dan meningkatnya kasus siswa yang melanggar nilai-nilai Islam. Rumusan masalah mengenai perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan pengendalian layanan bimbingan dan konseling berbasis Islam di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Kotawaringin Timur. Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling berbasis Islam di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Kotawaringin Timur yang meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan pengendalian. Menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data berpedoman pada analisis interaktif model Miles dan Michael Huberman. Hasil penelitian Manajemen Layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling berbasis Islam di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Kotawaringin Timur menunjukkan bahwa tahap perencanaan program dalam layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Kotawaringin Timur telah dilakukan menggunakan aplikasi IKMS versi 3.7 yang berpedoman pada nilai-nilai Islam. Pada tahap pelaksanaan layanan dasar dilakukan secara responsif dan berpedoman pada nilai-nilai Islam. Pada tahap pelaksanaan layanan pendukung berpedoman pada nilai-nilai Islam. Tahap pengendalian mengacu pada LAPELPROG (Laporan Pelaksanaan Program) Bimbingan dan Konseling pada hakikatnya berpedoman pada nilai-nilai Islam. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Kotawaringin Timur berbasis Islam dan bersifat sewaktu-waktu

THE ROLE OF INDONESIAN ARMY (TNI) IN REDUCING THE 2001’S SAMPIT CONFLICT AS NATIONAL DEFENSE

The Sampit conflict that occurred in Sampit City, Kota Waringin Timur Regency (Kotim) between the Dayak and Madurese ethnic groups was an event that affected security stability in Indonesia. The purpose of writing in this study is to find out and analyze the role of the TNI in resolving the Ethnic Dayak and Ethnic Madurese conflicts in Sampit City, Kotim Regency as the implementation of national security as a form of safeguarding national security stability from foreign and domestic threats. The approach method used in this study was a normative juridical approach. The results of the research, among others, are that the factors that are the main causes of the conflict between the ethnic Dayak and the ethnic Madurese include cultural factors, social inequality factors and political factors. The role of the Indonesian Army (TNI) in the context of implementing national resilience in resolving the ethnic Dayak and Madurese conflicts in Sampit City, Kotim Regency is carried out by contributing to regional security providing positive benefits for conflict peace in relation to efforts to create a peaceful situation in Sampit City, Kotim Regency.

Using Logico Media to Enhance Students' Speaking Skills in Report Texts

Research on the use of Logico media to improve students' speaking skills in report text for high school students is still rarely done. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to describe and evaluate the effectiveness of Logico media in improving English proficiency in Report Text in class IX students of Room 1 MTs Negeri (State Islamic junior high school) 1 Kotawaringin Timur. This type of research is Classroom Action Research which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of 3 meetings with research procedures starting from planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were 31 students of Class IX Room 1 MTs Negeri 1 Kotawaringin Timur. The data in this study were obtained through tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. The data were then descriptively, quantitatively, and qualitatively analyzed. This study's findings show that Logico Media helps students in Room 1 of MTs Negeri 1 Kotawaringin Timur's Class IX improve their speaking skills and learning outcome. English-speaking skills increased from 19.84 percent to 85.64 percent by the end of cycle 2, while classical learning outcomes reached 100% with a percentage increase from 48.39 percent to 100 percent by cycle 2

The potential and conservation of medicine plants in Central Kalimantan

Central Kalimantan consist of various type of lands e.g. peats soil, acid sulphate and uplands. Potential of the medicinal plant in Central Kalimantan forest is scattered in various forest areas and it is in high diversity various life form and uses. Method of study: exploration and collection conducted in five districts, i.e. Kotawaringin Timur, Kotawaringin Barat, Barito Selatan, Barito Utara and Murung Raya, starting from March 2016 until December 2018.The aims of this study was as follows : (1). The exploration process, (2). The ex-situ and in-situ conservation, (3). The characterization process, (4). The documentation process.The results of these activities involve ex situ collection of 5 accessions of medicinal plants that can be used as a source of biofarmaca. Medicinal plant conservation could be through in-situ and or ex-situ. The in-situ conservation held by managing the forest area as the natural habitat of the medicinal plants, while the ex-situ conservation held outside of the native habitats. Appropriate utilization and research activities are important in conservation of the medicinal plants Central Kalimantan..

Autekologi dan Pemanfaatan Buah Untit (Nephelium maingayi Hiern) oleh Suku Dayak Ngaju Kalimantan Tengah

Indonesia is a country with diverse genetic resources (SDG) of tropical fruits, this study aimed to provide information about Untit fruit including environmental factors associated with this fruit (Nephelium maingayi), and utilization of the Untit fruit plant by the Dayak Ngaju tribe in Cempaga District, Kotawaringin Timur Regency, Central Kalimantan. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data. Primary data collection was carried out by field observation and semi-structured interviews using a questionnaire. Secondary data is the result of literature studies from various libraries to support primary data. Environmental parameters (air temperature, humadity, soil pH, soil temperature, altitude and distance from water sources) in the field were analysis using Principal Component Analysis (PCA). The result of analysis showed that the most influential enviromental factor Untit fruit plants was air temperature. The plant was used as table fruit, medicine and building materials. In addition, the fruit plant Untit is used by the Dayak Ngaju tribes as a medicine for stomach aches (dysentery), medicine for wounds, rashes, pimples and ulcers. The most widely used parts of the plant were fruit, leaves, stems and bark.

Analisis Faktor Risiko Nyeri Punggung Bawah Pada Perawat Di Rsud Dr. Murjani Sampit

Abstract: Low back pain (NPB) is one of the most common musculoskeletal disorders in everyday life. NPB is pain that is felt in the lower back and is usually local pain or radicular pain or both. This pain can be caused by poor posture when standing or sitting, bending / twisting, lifting weights incorrectly and so on. The cause of NPB often occurs in inpatient nurses. This case report is located in dr. Murjani Sampit, Kotawaringin Timur, Kaliantan Tengah. The purpose of this case report is to determine the risk factors for low back pain in nurses at dr. Murjani Sampit. The method used is a questionnaire to determine individual factors and the Brief Survey method for ergonomic risk assessment. A case study was conducted on 2 inpatient nurses who had a history of Lower Back Pain. Based on the results of the ergonomic risk assessment using the Brief Survey method, the highest work risk was in the back region with a score of 4. Characteristic factors of respondents including gender, BMI, work experience, smoking behavior and exercise habits did not have a significant relationship with the incidence of NPB. Based on the results of statistical tests obtained from several case studies and research shows that only the length of sitting and the length of standing that affect the incidence of low back pain
