비즈니스 한국어 교재 개발 연구-베트남 내 전자 기기 제조업 종사자의 요구 분석을 바탕으로-

The study conducted a demand analysis for manufacturing workers in Vietnam with the aim of producing specialized business textbooks for employees of Korean manufacturers in Vietnam. First, we examined the status of vocational Korean education and prior research related to the development of business Korean textbooks in Vietnam, and analyzed the teaching subjects and vocabulary of existing business Korean textbooks. Based on this, the school was required to compile the syllabus to be presented in the business Korean language textbook for Vietnamese working in the manufacturing sector in Vietnam. In addition, the Commission conducted a survey of Korean and Vietnamese employees engaged in electronic related businesses in Vietnam on the requirements of teaching subjects. As a result, the Korean vocabulary and cultural areas required by Korean and Vietnamese employees differed. Considering these differences, textbooks will have to be produced. (Kyung Hee University)

Representation of monoculturalism in Chinese and Korean heritage language textbooks for immigrant children

ABSTRACT This article examines heritage language school textbooks issued by Chinese and Korean governments that are widely used for overseas heritage language learners at the preschool and elementary school levels. Using the lens of critical discourse analysis, this paper explores how cultural diversity is represented in the materials as well as the ideologies that underlie such representations. Findings reveal that the analysed textbooks embody a monolingual, monocultural, and static view of culture, language, and identity. We argue that heritage language textbooks should focus on promoting multiculturalism, dynamic forms of ethnic identification, and critical consciousness, so as to better support immigrant students as they navigate the ever-changing and increasingly heterogeneous world. This article reveals the need to develop heritage language textbooks that are relevant to the learners’ dynamic and complex identities in a transnational and multicultural/multilingual context.

‘갈등’의 교육적 구현 양상 검토 -2015 개정 국어과 교육과정에 따른 고등학교 국어, 문학 교과서를 중심으로-

초급 한국어 교재에 나타난 ‘훈민정음’ 관련 교육 내용 연구

본 논문은 초급 한국어 교재에 나타난 ‘한글 혹은 훈민정음’의 교육 내용을 확인하여, 교재별 차이점과 문제점은 없는지를 파악하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 7종의 초급 한국어 교재를 선정하여 ‘훈민정음’과 관련된 교육 내용을 ‘훈민정음’의 명칭과 뜻, 창제자, 창제 목적, 제자 원리, 자모 명칭, 표기 방법, ‘훈민정음’과 관련된 정보, 자료의 범주로 나누어 살펴보았다. 살펴본 결과 다음을 알 수 있었다. 첫째, 한국어 교재에서 ‘훈민정음’에 대한 교육 내용은 훈민정음의 뜻, 창제자, 시기, 창제 목적, 제자 원리, 자모 명칭, 표기 방법 등 다양하게 제시되어 있었다. 둘째, 한국어 교재마다 ‘한글’만 제시하거나 ‘훈민정음’도 같이 제시하는 등 제시된 내용이 각각 달랐다. 셋째, 한국어 교재에 잘못된 정보가 들어가 있거나 사실을 오해할 수 있는 경우가 있었다. 훈민정음의 창제자를 ‘세종대왕’으로 정확하게 언급한 경우도 있었지만, 잘못 표현한 경우도 있었다. 넷째, 한국어 교재에서는 한글 자모의 제자 원리와 자음 이름, 음절 구조 등은 비교적 자세히 설명해 주고 있다. 다섯째, 한국어 교재에서 ‘훈민정음’과 관련된 정보와 세종대왕 동상, 세종대왕 초상화, 훈민정음 언해본, 훈민정음 해례본 등의 삽화, 사진, 도판 등을 제시하여 이해를 도와주고 있었다. 위와 같은 과정을 통해, 초급 한국어 교재에 ‘한글’과 ‘훈민정음’에 대한 교육 내용이 어떠한 것이 제시되고 있는지 알 수 있었으며, 그 차이와 문제점도 파악할 수 있었다.

A Study on the Characteristics of Literary Education Discourse on <Tokki-jeon> as a Lie Narrative

The primary purpose of this study is to investigate the reason of charm of <Tokki-jeon>(The Story of Rabbit) in which the two characters who succeeded in deceiving the other side by lying. To this end, we focused on various ending structures and repeated version derivatives. In contrast to the general narrative grammar of a classic novel in which a good man ends up through trials in the confrontation between a good man who appears as a hero or a smartass and an evil man who interferes with him, there is no such confrontation between good and evil. Nonetheless, <Tokki-jeon> was popular among readers of that times because it seems that the evaluation of the two characters’ lies has a broad spectrum. Because they were able to make various evaluations of their lies, different versions with its various endings, was once again derived. This study also examined the issue of how to be invited and how it is enjoyed with the youth readers of today. <Tokki-jeon> is included in middle school Korean Language textbooks, and tends to be accompanied by learning activities focused on an evaluation of personality and theme consciousness implied by various ending structures. This is a result of the fact that the traditional characteristics of ‘learning activities’.
