Education is one measure of success or success in the knowledge/intelligence of students with their talents. Talent is an innate potential ability, which still needs to be honed and retrained so that it can become a capable ability, expertise and skills. Talent can be obtained from several ability tests that will be carried out so that children can find out what talents they have. MIS Mutia Rahma is a school that plays an important role in developing the talents of each of its students with various standards from the lowest to the highest. This school strives to maximize the potential of its students. Based on data obtained from 2010-2022, there are 1056 student talent development data. However, from this data it is not yet clear how the process of dividing groups and monitoring student talents is carried out. Therefore, an effective method is needed to process this data in order to classify the development of children's talents. The method that can be used to group data on children's talent development is the K-Means algorithm. Of the 20 data, there are 3 groups, namely group 1 has 7 data and group 2 has 11 data, and group 3 has 2 data with the most results obtained being cluster 2 with the group level of talent development in children aged (X) 8-10 years, who have the ability (Y) linguistic ability (KL), musical ability (KM), spatial ability (KS), kinesthetic ability (KK) & intrapersonal ability (KIP), the type of extracurricular (Z) that is developed in children is Football.

The Development and Evaluation of the Kinesthetic Motor Imagery of Pelvic Floor Muscle Contraction Questionnaire (KMI-PFQ) in Spanish Women.

Practitioners have begun using motor imagery (MI) for preventing and treating some pelvic floor disorders. Due to requirements for imagining before performing a MI intervention and because there are few instruments available for assessing this specific ability in the pelvic floor musculature, we sought to develop and test a new MI questionnaire, the Kinesthetic Motor Imagery of Pelvic Floor Muscle Contraction Questionnaire (KMI-PFQ). We focused in this study on the development and analysis of the instrument's factorial structure and internal reliability in a participant sample of 162 healthy Spanish women (M age = 20.1, SD = 2.2 years). We developed and evaluated the KMI-PFQ's psychometric properties, finding it to have good internal consistency, with Cronbach's α = .838, ω coefficient = .839, and an intraclass correlation coefficient = .809, with two factors ("ability" and "mental effort") explaining 58.36% of response variance. The standard error of measurement was 3.58, and the minimal detectable change was 9.92. No floor or ceiling effects were identified. There was also good convergent validity as seen by statistically significant positive correlations between KMI-PFQ scores and the revised-Movement Image Questionnaire and Vividness of Visual Imagery Questionnaire. There were no statistically significant correlations between KMI-PFQ scores and the Orientation to Life Questionnaire. The KMI-PFQ is a valid and reliable instrument for measuring kinesthetic ability to feel/imagine pelvic floor muscle contractions in healthy Spanish women.

Differentiation of the body build and posture in the population of people with intellectual disabilities and Down Syndrome: a systematic review

BackgroundThe aim of the study was to identify the variables of the internal compensatory mechanisms that differentiate the body build and posture of people with Down syndrome (DS) from the intellectual disability (ID) population. It was assumed that gaining knowledge in the abovementioned aspect will allow for a better understanding of the limitation of the kinesthetic abilities of people with ID and DS and simultaneously enable to optimize the process of planning and interventions to improve physical activity in this population with the adequate use of theirs strengths in the biomechanical and morphofunctional systems.MethodsThe methodology of this systematic review was developed according to the PRISMA guidelines. A search of PubMed, EBSCO, Scopus databases was conducted to identify all studies on DS/ID and the body build and posture from 2003 to 2023.Results395 articles were assessed to determine eligibility, while 22 studies met the inclusion criteria and were subjected to detailed analysis and assessment of their methodological quality. The differentiation of the body build and posture in DS population can be induced by both internal and external compensatory mechanisms. It is difficult to confirm the direct effect of the intrinsic variables that impact the body build and posture in the ID population, excluding people with DS.ConclusionsCompared to other ID, the intrinsic differences in the body build and posture in DS individuals were induced by gender, age, and level of ID. The tendency for diversity between DS and other ID populations in body build and posture may be determined by the presence of the third copy of chromosome 21 in DS group. Internal compensatory processes may be induced mainly by abnormalities in the structure of the cervical vertebrae and feet. IQ should not be used as the only variable that identifies the population of people with ID.

Design Electric Bells to Improve Kinesthetic Intelligence for the View Image in the Library and Archive Department of Bengkulu Province

This study aims to design an electric bell and determine the kinesthetic improvement ability of visually impaired people after using the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) listicv bell as an information guide. When a visitor wants to know the braille book, title, location, and classification of Dewey (DDC) then it is necessary to press the DDC bell and it will ring. People with visually impaired disabilities were the subjects of this study, and ten people as the object. Data collection using Tests, interviews, and documentation is used to collect data. The method used quantitative experiments. In addition, descriptive analysis showed that the average pre-test score was 25.87 and the average post-test score was 21.05. so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The results of the study stated that the use of the Dewey electric bell (DDC) by the Bengkulu Provincial Library and Archives Service affected the kinesthetic ability of movement, visual and motor recognition of book classifications for the visually impaired.

Plantar Pain, Balance and Foot Functions in Individuals with Diabetes Mellitus

Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between plantar pain, balance and foot function in Diabetes Mellitus (DM) patients with obese and non-obese. Material and Methods: Fifty-four patients were diagnosed as DM were included. Participants were seperated as non-obese (n=27) and obese (n=27). The balance abilities (dynamic and static balance) of participants were examined with the Portable Computerized Kinesthetic Ability Trainer (SportKAT-550). Pain, disability and function status of foot were assessed according to Foot Function Index (FFI) and Manchester Foot Pain and Disability Index (MFPDI). Results: FFI-Disability and MFPDI scores of the Non-Obese.Group were significantly better than Obese Group. While there were no significant correlation between BMI and MFPDI, FFI-Activity.Limitation and FFI-Disability scores in both groups (p>0.05), there was medium and positive significant correlation just between BMI and FFI-Pain.in.Non-Obese Group (p

Cultivating 21st century Learning Skills: The Effect of Song-based Music and Movement on Elementary-age Children’s Kinesthetic Skills

Kinesthetic skills play a crucial role in young children’s growth development, yet this development had received less attention. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of song-based music and movement intervention on kinesthetic skills among elementary-age children. Ancillary purposes of this study were to investigate the contribution of kinesthetic abilities to 21st century learning skills. The participants for this study consisted of 60 students with ages ranging from 7 to 9 years from four different daycare centers in Malacca. This study conducted a randomized pre-post-test between-subjects experimental designs and participants were exposed to no treatment, song-based, music and movement, and song-based music and movement interventions. The treatment sessions were 30-minute session per week for an eight-week duration. The kinesthetic skills were assessed through researcher-adapted measurement forms, Kinesthetic Skill Test (KST). The results indicated that the song-based music and movement intervention significantly improved kinesthetic skills and the kinesthetic variables contributed to critical thinking and creativity skills. The suggested intervention is highly beneficial in preparing young children to become successful learners.

The Effects of Exergames on Physical and Psychological Health in Young Adults.

Objective: This study aims to examine the effects of Kinect-based exergaming on physical (balance and reaction time) and psychosocial health factors (mental well-being and subjective happiness level) in young adults. Materials and Methods: A total of 22 men aged between 18 and 40, who play sedentary videogames at least once a week, were randomly divided into 2 groups to participate in either a Kinect-based exergame program (experimental group, n = 11) or to continue playing sedentary videogames without making any changes (control group, n = 11). The Kinect-based exergame program, including three exergames (Kinect Adventure: Reflex Ridge, Dance Central 3, Kinect Sports: Volleyball), was implemented with the experimental group for 5 weeks, three times a week, and 45 minutes per session. Balance and reaction time were assessed using SportKAT® 4000 Kinesthetic Ability Trainer and FitLight Trainer™ devices, respectively. To measure mental well-being and subjective happiness level, scales with proven psychometric qualities, whose validity and reliability studies were conducted, were used. Results: Results of the study showed statistically significant improvement for the experimental group on the measures of reaction time [t(10) = -4.69, P = 0.001], subjective happiness [t(10) = 8.94, P = 0.000], and mental well-being [t(10) = 4.62, P = 0.001]. In addition, the difference between the groups in reaction time [t(20) = 1.66, P = 0.01], right leg static balance [t(20) = -2.96, P = 0.008], mental well-being [t(20) = 2.77, P = 0.012], and subjective happiness levels (U = 0.50, P = 0.000) was found to be statistically significant in favor of the experimental group. Conclusion: The findings suggest that Kinect-based exergaming positively supports adults' reaction time, mental well-being, and subjective happiness.

Convergent validity and sex invariant factor structure of the Movement Imagery Questionnaire-3 - Second version (MIQ-3S): Healthy, young adult reference data

Aligned with the approach that established the factor structure of the Movement Imagery Questionnaire-3 (MIQ-3), this study extended the two-factor structure of the Movement Imagery Questionnaire – Revised Second version (MIQ-RS). The extension involves assessment of both internal and external visual imagery abilities along with kinesthetic imagery ability. Participants (N = 396) completed the new Movement Imagery Questionnaire – 3 Second Version (MIQ-3S) along with the Vividness of Movement Imagery Questionnaire-2 (VMIQ-2) which measure the same three imagery abilities. Alpha coefficients and between scale Spearman correlations for internal, external, and kinesthetic abilities indicated items were internally consistent (α > 0.87) and established convergent validity (r > 0.69), respectively. MIQ-3S scale means ranged from 5.56 (SD = 1.10) to 5.98 (SD = 0.84), with no differences by sex. The three scales were not multicolinear as intra-scale correlations ranged from 0.47 to 0.61, supporting the three abilities were related, but separate constructs. A multi-trait multimethod confirmatory factor analysis (MTMM CFA), with sex invariance, was conducted to confirm the 3-factor structure of the MIQ-3S. Results from 396 healthy male (n = 200) and female (n = 196) adult college-aged students (M = 21.91, SD = 2.37) indicated a correlated-traits correlated-uniqueness model provided the best fit to the data (CFI = 0.99; SRMR = 0.05; RMSEA = 0.03), while displaying sex invariance. These findings provide baseline data on college-aged, healthy adult participants providing reference data to those investigating imagery abilities among injured populations and practitioners interested in tracking individuals in rehabilitation.

Choreographing Global Flyways: Interdisciplinary Middle School Dance and Science Learning

ABSTRACT Climate change is a contemporary global crisis that necessitates pedagogical innovation for the middle school dance classroom. This article describes an integrated design for a dance and science unit. Building on students’ kinesthetic abilities, teachers are able to create a unit comprising a series of lessons on bird migrations effected by climate change, culminating in a final performance. Students engage in research on climate change and its effects on global bird migrations and view past performances reflecting avian formations from Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov's Swan Lake (1895) to non-Western influences on dance. Yoga poses such as Swan, Eagle, and Pigeon evolve into dance phrases. The teacher facilitates students’ selection of a musical soundtrack for the choreography of an ensemble performance with props and upcycled costumes. An assessment of the dance and science unit is performed through a continuous feedback loop during practice and through a final group interview after the performance.

Relationship of Organizational Behavior and Students’ Emotional Quotient

This study focused on the relationship of organizational behavior of United Evangelical Christian School (UECS), Sta. Cruz, Laguna, and students? emotional quotient. It also includes assessment of students? multiple intelligences and learning styles as moderating variables. In going on with the study, the researcher made use of descriptive-survey design. Nineteen teaching and non-teaching faculty participated in the organizational behavior survey, while 134 students from grade 4 to 4th year became the subject of emotional quotient (EQ), multiple intelligences (MI) and learning styles (LS) assessment test. For organizational behavior, EQ, MI and LS, simple mean and percentage were used to answer the specific problems posed at the beginning of the study. On the other hand, t-test was used to know the relationship of organizational behavior to each of the five dimensions emotional quotient, namely: self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy and social skills. It was found out that UECS management, faculty and employee prefer collegial mode, more than supportive, autocratic and custodial mode of organizational behavior, as evidenced by their average rating of 3.89 (frequent). In terms of emotional quotient, 64.18% of the students already have ?self-awareness? competency, 56.72% already have ?self-regulation? competency, 53.73% already have ?motivation? competency, 52.99% already have ?empathy? competency, and 63,43% already have ?social skills? competency. In terms of multiple intelligences, 41.04% of the students are inclined in linguistics, 19.40% of the students have kinesthetic ability, 24.63% are inclined with intrapersonal relationship, 39.55% are inclined in mathematical, 31.34% are inclined in musically, 50.75% are naturalists, 29.85%have spatial ability, and 37.31% are inclined with interpersonal relationship. In terms of learning styles, 103 out of 134 students (76.87%) are left-brain hemisphere oriented, while 31 out of 134 (23.13%) of the students are right-brain hemisphere oriented. Using statistical test, it was found out that organizational behavior has significant relationship to each of the five dimensions of emotional quotient. Because of this, this paper recommends that UECS management, faculty and employees maintain their team concept in building management-employee partnership for it will boost up the development of emotional quotient of the students.

SMALL EFFORT, BIG RESULTS: THROWING AND CATCHING ACTIVITIES USING PLASTIC BALL TO FOSTER CHILD'S KINESTHETIC ABILITY

The purpose of this study was to improve the kinesthetic ability of group A, Ria Pembangunan Kindergarten, Sentani, Jayapura through a throwing-catching game using the small plastic ball. This research uses the action research method. Participants were collected using purposive sampling by involving 12 children in group A. Kinesthetic ability is one aspect that plays an essential role in child development. In the first cycle, the results showed that the child's kinesthetic ability reached 49.30%, including throwing with one hand over the shoulder, reaching 45.83%, throwing with one hand below 52.08%, and catching the ball 50%. As for the second cycle, it increased to 82.64%, including throwing with one hand over the shoulder, reaching 81.22%, throwing with one hand below, reaching 85.42%, and the aspect of catching the ball reaches 83.33%. Thus, the results showed that throwing-catching games using small plastic balls could improve the kinesthetic ability of group A at Ria Pembangunan Sentani Kindergarten, Jayapura Regency, Papua.

So that with multiple intelligences can affect the ability of students to learn specifically in learning Biology. This research aims (1) To know the relationship between students who have kinesthetic ability to learn Biology subjects (2) to know the difference in student grades based on kinesthetic indicators. The method used was the correlational method using 1 class as an experimental class as well using product moment formula. This research was held on May 29 until June 10, 2017 sample taken in class XI MIA I with purposive sampling technique. SMAN 2 Bandar Lampung mission is to develop the potential of learners Multiple Intelligences including intelligent motion. Refers to the bookSuharsimi Arikunto consists of 45 statements based on the indicator of kinesthetic ability, consisting of 5 indicators to look for differences in the value of each indicator using a one-way Anova Test. Collection of student value data on the pick up based on final exam results. The significant value between kinesthetic intelligence and the learning outcomes based on the analysis of the two interconnected interpretation is sufficient.

Effects of Single-Task Versus Dual-Task Training on Balance Performance in Elderly Patients With Knee Osteoarthritis.

This study aims to compare the effects of single-task and dual-task training on balance performance in elderly patients with knee osteoarthritis (OA). Fifty elderly osteoarthritic patients with balance impairment (16 males, 34 females; mean age 72.9±5.5 years; range 65 to 84 years) were included in this study. Patients were randomly assigned to single-task balance training (group 1) or dual-task balance training (group 2) groups. Balance activities were given to both groups for three times a week for four weeks. Patients in group 2 also performed cognitive tasks simultaneously with these exercises. Patients were evaluated with Berg balance scale (BBS), kinesthetic ability trainer static and dynamic scores, timed up and go (TUG) test and walking speed (WS) for single and dual tasks, number of stopping and activities-specific balance confidence (ABC) scale at baseline and at the end of four weeks. At the end of the therapy, there were statistically significant improvements in BBS, KAT 2000 static and dynamic scores, TUG test and WS for single and dual tasks, number of stopping and ABC scale in both groups (p<0.05). But there was no statistical difference in any parameter between the groups (p>0.05). Both single- and dual-task trainings are effective in improving balance performance under single- and dual-task conditions in elderly patients with knee OA. Dual-task training is not superior to single-task training for balance improvement in elderly osteoarthritic patients.

Physical Performance and Quality of Life in Older Adults: Is There Any Association between Them and Potential Drug Interactions in Polymedicated Octogenarians.

Older adults are at increased risk of several cytochrome P450 (CYP) drug interactions that can result in drug toxicity, reduced pharmacological effect, and adverse drug reactions. This study aimed to assess the prevalence of potential CYP interactions referring to the most clinically relevant drugs and exploring the relationship between them and quality of life and physical performance in Spanish octogenarians. Institutionalized and community-dwelling octogenarians (n = 102) treated at three primary care centers, were recruited by a research nurse. Anthropometric measurements, chronic diseases, prescribed drugs, quality of life, physical performance, mobility skills, hand grip strength and cognitive status data were collected. Potential CYP drug-drug interactions (DDIs) were selected referring to the main CYP implicated in their metabolism. The 72.2% of recruited octogenarians presented potentially inappropriate CYP inhibitor-substrate or CYP inductor-substrate combinations. Analyzing the EuroQol Visual Analogue scale (EQ-VAS) results, patients with a potential CYP DDI perceived worse health status than patients without it (p = 0.004). In addition, patients with a potential CYP DDI presented worse exercise capacity, kinesthetic abilities, or mobility than those who didn’t present a potential interaction (p = 0.01, p = 0.047, and p = 0.02, respectively). To investigate and control factors associated with loss of muscle strength and poor quality of life, polypharmacy and DDIs could help institutions in the management of physical frailty.

Development of a Healthy Culture-Based Culture Model in Regional Islamic PAUD Al Azhar Banda Aceh

The main objective of this study was aimed at developing healthy gymnastics cheerful for early childhood based on Aceh culture in the face of a shift in Acehnese cultural values in Al-Azhar IT Kindergarten children in Banda Aceh. Early childhood education is to form quality Indonesian children, namely children who grow and develop according to their level of development, namely religious and moral, physical-motoric, cognitive, language, social-emotional and artistic values. This research was carried out in the Al-Azhar IT Kindergarten Banda Aceh Banda Aceh and limited trials were conducted at the FKIP Unsyiah Banda Aceh with a total of 20 children. The research method used is Research and Development research. Types of data collected in the form of qualitative and quantitative data. Data on kinesthetic intelligence uses observation instruments in the form of scale 4. Quantitative data were analyzed by descriptive techniques consisting of calculating frequency, average and percentage, qualitative data were collected by observation, interviews and documentation, qualitative data were analyzed by Miles Huberman technique which included steps; data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results showed a significant increase related to the condition of children’s kinesthetic intelligence before and after getting the action of the Aceh region culture-based cheerful gymnastic activities in improving the physical motoric intelligence of children both inside and outside the classroom. With the improvement of kinesthetic abilities that are significant both in terms of process and results, the Acehnese culture-based cheerful gymnastic learning activities are very well used in learning to develop various developments in children, especially the motor physical intelligence of children.

Effectiveness of balance training with kinesthetic ability trainer (KAT 2000) in patients with peripheral neuropathic pain: a randomised controlled study

Objectives: The aim of this study isto determine the effectiveness of balance training with Kinesthetic Ability Trainer (KAT 2000) in patients with peripheral neuropathic pain related balance disorder. Methods: Sixty patients were included into this controlled prospective study and randomized into either balance exercises group (Group 1) or KAT 2000 exercises group (Group 2). Balance exercises were given to all patients. Also, KAT 2000 balance exercises were given all patients in Group 2 (n = 30). All patients received 45-min individualized training session for three times a week for 4 weeks. Douleur Neuropathique 4 (DN4) questionnaire for neuropathic pain; visual analogue scale (VAS) for pain severity; KAT 2000 for static and dynamic balance; Nottingham Health Profile (NHP) for Quality of Life (QoL) was used. Dynamic balance and mobility also was assessed using the Berg Balance Scale (BBS) and Time Up and Go (TUG) test. Patients were evaluated at baseline and the end of the 4-week exercise program. Results: At the end of the treatment; VAS, BBS, KAT 2000, TUG, NHP, physical activity, NHP pain, NHP social isolation and NHP emotional reactions scores improved significantly in both groups (p &amp;lt; 0.05) except NHP sleep and NHP energy level scores in balance exercises group (p &amp;gt; 0.05). Statistical differences in VAS pain on movement, global assessment of patient, global assessment of doctor, NHP energy level scores were found between the groups (p &amp;lt; 0.05); but there were no statistical difference in VAS at rest, VAS at night, BBS, KAT 2000, TUG, NHP physical activity, NHP pain, NHP sleep, NHP social isolation and NHP emotional reactions scores between the groups (p &amp;gt; 0.05). Conclusion: When combined with the KAT 2000 device, positive effects of balance-coordination exercises on pain on movement and energy level are more evident in patients with peripheral neuropathic pain.

The effect of medial longitudinal arch height and medial longitudinal arch-support insoles on postural balance in perimenopausal women

Background/aim Changes in balance and postural control have been reported during the perimenopausal period. We investigated the effect of medial longitudinal arch height and medial arch support insoles on postural sway and balance in middle-aged perimenopausal women. Materials and methods 29 women with normal arches and 29 women with low arches were included in the study. The foot arches of the participants were determined using the arch height index. The static balance index (SBI) measured by Kinesthetic Ability Trainer 3000 and functional reach test were used to evaluate postural balance. Measurements were obtained from all participants with and without medial arch support insoles. Results The SBI-total scores without the insoles were found to be significantly higher in the lower arch group than in the normal arch group. SBI-total, SBI-anteroposterior, and SBI-mediolateral scores significantly improved in the low arch group in the presence of insoles, whereas the usage of insoles resulted in no difference in the normal arch group. In the presence of insoles, the reach distances to left and right sides increased in both groups, while the forward functional reach distances decreased. Conclusion Medial longitudinal arch height and medial arch support insoles affect the balance parameters in perimenopausal women.

Neurocognitive Functioning of Sport Climbers.

Sport climbing, included in the programme of the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games, is increasingly gaining in popularity as a method of physical and mental health enhancement. Studies show a positive relationship between climbing and improvement of neurocognitive functioning. The aim of this study was to determine the differences in neurocognitive indicators: time of testing, memory, and location between climbers and non-climbers. The sample comprised 30 sport climbers (15 males, 15 females; aged 25 ± 4 years) practicing climbing regularly for five years, and 30 non-climbing age- and sex-matched controls. The Tactual Performance Test (Halstead-Reitan Test Battery) was used to measure neurocognitive functions (tactile-spatial functions, motion coordination, kinesthetic abilities, learning, memory). Significant differences were found between sport climbers and controls in reference to time, memory, and location (p < 0.05). Climbers reached higher memory as well as location ratios and lower time ratios in comparison to controls. Different strategies used to complete the task between the two groups were observed. The neurocognitive functioning of sport climbers manifests itself in faster recognition and differentiation of tactile input and better spatial perception, tactile perception, and movement memory.

EFFECT OF FLAMINGO EXERCISES ON BALANCE IN PATIENTS WITH BALANCE IMPAIRMENT DUE TO SENILE OSTEOARTHRITIS

To investigate the effect of flamingo exercise with or without KAT 2000 device on the balance problems due to senile OA. Ninety elderly osteoarthritic patients with balance impairment. Participants were randomly assigned into three groups; Kinesthetic ability trainer (KAT 2000) training group (Group 1) (n = 30), Flamingo training group (Group 2) (n = 30), Combined training group (Group 3) (n = 30) group. 45 minutes individualized training sessions as three times a week for 4 weeks were given to all participants. Patients were evaluated with Berg balance scale (BBS), kinesthetic ability trainer (KAT 2000) static and dynamic scores, timed up and go test (TUGT), walking speed (WS), Activities Specific Balance Confidence (ABC) Scale and Functional Reach Test (FRT) at the baseline and at the end of 4 weeks. At the end of the therapy, there were statistically significant improvements in KAT 2000 static and dynamic scores, TUGT scores, WS and ABC Scale in all groups (p < 0.05). At the end of the therapy there were statistically significant differences in Group 3 for KAT 2000 static and dynamic scores, TUGT scores, WS and ABC Scale than the other groups (p < 0.05).
