Singing Training Using the Zoltán Kodály Method for Preschool and Kindergarten Teachers in Jayapura District

Singing training was conducted using the Zoltán Kodály approach for early childhood education and kindergarten teachers in Jayapura Regency to address the need to improve teachers' competence in effective music teaching for young children. Gaps in music education, caused by a lack of professional training, affect teachers' ability to integrate music in children's cognitive and social development. This service activity aims to empower teachers with the Kodály method, which uses simple and familiar songs to teach basic music concepts in a fun and interactive way. This service activity was carried out using the direct demonstration method by STAKPN Sentani Church Music Department lecturers, who practiced using the Kodály method with children's songs. The training results showed increased teachers' understanding of how music can be used as an effective educational tool, such as the Zoltán Kodály approach. In conclusion, the training made a real contribution to improving the quality of music teaching in PAUD and TK and supporting children's cognitive, social, and emotional development through a holistic and creative approach.

Kajian Penyusutan Luas Kawasan Hutan Sagu di Kampung Nendali Distrik Sentani Timur Kabupaten Jayapura

The sago plant (Metroxylon sago) is native to Southeast Asia and thrives in swampy areas and riverbanks in Indonesia, with centers of distribution in Papua, Maluku, Sulawesi and Riau. In Papua, sago plays an important role in the social, economic and ecological aspects of the local community, as well as being a staple food consumed for generations. However, rapid development in Jayapura Regency, especially in Nendali Village, threatens the sustainability of the sago forest. This research uses a descriptive method to evaluate the existing condition of sago forest shrinkage through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that development activities have caused the sago forest area to shrink by 114,629.76 m² between 2015 and 2020. Sago forests were converted into built-up land and open land, which amounted to 5,864.59 m² and 5,284.53 m² respectively. The SWOT analysis revealed that despite internal weaknesses, opportunities for sago forest protection exist through existing regulations. Thus, it is expected that the Jayapura District Regulation can be a reference in sustainable development and protection of sago forests for the welfare of local communities.

KAJIAN PERILAKU MASYARAKAT PESISIR YANG MENGAKIBATKAN KERUSAKAN LINGKUNGAN SEKITAR EKOSISTEM MANGROVE DI PANTAI HAMADI KOTA JAYAPURA

Background : Environmental damage around the Hamadi coastal mangrove ecosystem, South Jayapura District, Jayapura City, which is caused by many human behavioral factors on the coast, one of which is due to tourism activities that throw away garbage so that it becomes dirty and the natural beauty is damaged. he waste has not been fully addressed effectively if the management is not carried out properly, which then becomes a serious threat to the sustainability of the mangrove ecosystem area near Hamadi Beach which is used as a tourist spot. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a study of the behavior of the community living around the area and utilizing the area. Method: The researcher used 30 respondents as samples and conducted in June to August 2024 on Hamadi Beach, South Jayapura District, Jayapura City using the data usage technique in this study is Simple Random Sampling, which is carried out randomly from members of the population without considering the level of the population. The data that has been obtained is analyzed using the Likert Scale. Results: Respondents were dominated by men, productive age 36-45 years old, predominantly high school education, fishermen, who had an income Rp 1.000.000 -Rp2.000.000. Socio-economic characteristics describe respondents who live, sell and travel around the area. The characteristics of the respondents were seen from the community's perception of the knowledge of the function of the mangrove ecosystem (3,39) including the category strongly agree, Public Perception of Environmental Conditions for the Growth of Mangrove Ecosystems (3,5) Including the category of strongly agreeing, public perception of the utilization of mangrove ecosystems (3,14) including the category of agree. Conclusion: The development of science about public perception that results in environmental damage to the mangrove ecosystem on Hamadi beach needs to be known in early countermeasures.

Simple Python-Based Application for Transforming Apparent Resistivity Data from Schlumberger Configuration to Wenner Configuration Using the Linear Filter Method

Research has been conducted regarding the design of a simple Python-based application to transform apparent resistivity values ​​from the Schlumberger configuration into apparent resistivity values ​​from the Wenner configuration using the linear filter method. The application developed was then validated using field data measurements from two different locations, namely Nendali Village in the East Sentani district and Buper Waena in the Heram Jayapura district. At each measurement point, two Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) measurements were performed using Schlumberger and Wenner configurations. The apparent resistivity values ​​from the Schlumberger configuration were transformed using the application created, and the results were compared with observational data from the Wenner configuration. Field data were taken for as many as six samples per logarithmic cycle, with the Schlumberger AB/2 configuration electrode spacing equal to the Wenner configuration electrode spacing. The maximum stretch lengths in Nendali and Buper villages were 26 m and 40 m, respectively. The research results show a match between the apparent resistivity values ​​of the Wenner configuration obtained from field observations and the transformation results. This suitability was demonstrated qualitatively through the similarity of the apparent resistivity curve trend between the transformed and field observation data. Quantitatively, this suitability is shown by the slope value of the comparison curve of field observation data and transformed data, which in Nendali and Buper Villages is 0.75 and 0.98, respectively. The conclusion of this study is that a simple application that has been designed and created can be used to transform apparent resistivity values ​​from the Schlumberger configuration to the Wenner configuration. A comparison between the transformed data and field observation data shows that suitability is highly dependent on the quality of the field data.

The Influence of MSMEs on Economic Growth in Jayapura City

The research was conducted in Jayapura City by utilizing quantitative methods. In this study using time series data. Time series data is data that is organized based on the time sequence of events. The time series data includes all MSMEs in 21 sub-districts registered at the Jayapura City Office of Cooperative Trade and Micro Business during 2015-2022. The results showed that the growth of MSMEs in Jayapura City played an important role in the economic growth of Jayapura district / city by increasing the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP). The effect of MSMEs on economic growth, showing the results of the tcount value of the variable number of MSMEs on GRDP of -8.9259 with a probability value of 0.000. Because the probability value is smaller than 0.05, it can be concluded that the growth in the number of MSMEs is significant in influencing the growth of GRDP in Jayapura city. The negative regression coefficient shows that the growth in the number of MSMEs is inversely proportional to the growth of GRDP in Jayapura city. When the number of MSMEs has decreased since 2021, the GRDP of Jayapura city has actually continued to increase.

Pemodelan Spasial Pengaruh Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) Dengan Mengukur Tingkat Kadar Gas (Karbon Monoksida) (Studi Kasus: : Kelurahan Entrop Distrik Jayapura Selatan)

This research aims to model the impact of Green Open Space (GOS) on Carbon Monoxide (CO) gas levels in Entrop Village, South Jayapura District. Green Open Space plays a crucial role in improving air quality in an area. In the context of rapid urbanization and increasing motor vehicle numbers, GOS serves as the city's lungs, capable of absorbing pollutants and improving air quality. The research method used is spatial modeling, which allows mapping the distribution of GOS and measuring CO levels on the main roads of Entrop Village. Primary data was obtained through field surveys using CO measuring instruments, while secondary data was obtained from various literature sources and reports from related agencies. Data analysis was conducted using statistical and spatial approaches to identify the relationship between GOS and CO levels. The results showed a significant negative relationship between the extent of GOS and CO levels. The larger the GOS area, the lower the CO concentration in the area. Spatial modeling also identified high CO concentration points in areas with low GOS density. Furthermore, this research found that uneven distribution of GOS contributes to variations in air quality (CO) in different locations. These findings highlight the importance of effective GOS management as part of air pollution control strategies in large cities. Recommendations from this research include increasing the number and distribution of GOS in areas with high CO concentrations, and integrating GOS into urban spatial planning to create a healthier and more sustainable environment. This research makes a significant contribution to sustainable urban planning by emphasizing the importance of integrating GOS into spatial planning to improve air quality and environmental health. Thus, the results of this research can serve as a reference for the government and stakeholders in formulating future GOS management and air pollution control policies.

Perkembangan Pola Permukiman Tradisional Berbasis Kearifan Lokal

The development of Jayapura City as the capital of Papua Province has grown into a region very rapidly from being a modern city. The classification of areas in Jayapura City is included in the heterogeneous area group where the types of population come from various tribes and regions that live in Jayapura City. The city of Jayapura has land and sea areas with different areas, and has residential characteristics as a traditional village. The settlements of Kampung Enggros and Kampung Tobati are located around the coast of Yotefa Bay, including in the South Jayapura District and Abepura District of Jayapura Municipality, where the community builds their settlements above sea water. One thing that residents will face is the relationship between humans and the places where they live, which cannot be separated from nature. The research methods used to achieve the objectives of this research are comparative analysis and qualitative methods. The comparative analysis method displays settlement patterns with comparisons between 2019-2023 in the form of images. Qualitative descriptive analysis method by presenting actual settlement development problems in the field in the form of pictures. The research results show that there are 3 factors for settlement development in Enggros and Tobati Villages, namely, Community, Protection and Network. Society is changing from traditional to modern, for example traditional houses become modern houses that keep up with the times. The network turns into a spatial structure in a pattern that is influenced by the economic aspects of indigenous communities. The main thing is natural factors because in the general view of indigenous Papuans, what is meant by their home is the natural surroundings where they can live.

District Capacity Revitalization for Strengthening Administration of Traditional Villages in Jayapura District: A Mixed Method Approach

This study aimed to challenge the strengthening of regional governance in Jayapura District, particularly focusing on the administration of traditional villages. It aligns legislative initiatives aiming to enhance governance through community empowerment and nurturing local wisdom, despite existing challenges in effective governance and development outcomes. The primary objective is to create a comprehensive framework for District Capacity Building in Village Administration. Employing a mixedmethod approach, the study combines quantitative data from structured surveys with qualitative data from FGD. Purposive sampling targets government officials and community leaders, ensuring data relevance. Statistical analysis of survey data provides a baseline understanding of district capacity, while FGDs offer in-depth insights into specific challenges and dynamics. The research introduces a refined district capacity strengthening model using the Treaming Theory, indicating indirect influences of funding, district capacity, and infrastructure on district head duties and functions through district authority. This model underscores the need for increased district authority, supported by improved funding and infrastructure, to enhance traditional village development effectively. The study reveals that revitalizing district roles as development centers and traditional village development districts can significantly improve regional governance in Jayapura District and provide recommendations for policy formulation, strengthening implementation of district functions, and enhancing traditional village governance. Pencegahan Stunting dengan Pembentukan Tim Pendamping Ibu Hamil

Stunting (short) is still a public health problem in Indonesia. The prevalence of stunting in Papua is still high (29.0%), and in Jayapura City, it is 22.9%. For the Imbi sub-district, stunting is 37%. Efforts to prevent stunting through specific interventions that reduce stunting by 30% and generally in the health sector focus on the First 1000 Days of Life (HPK). Specific intervention targets are pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, toddlers, and young women. Assistance for pregnant women is needed so that mothers get nutritional intake according to their needs and prepare mothers for feeding their children (IYCF). This activity aims to form a team to accompany pregnant women who will attend mothers to increase their knowledge and practice of maternal nutrition. The method used is training and mentoring. The targets of this activity are Posyandu cadres as an accompanying team and pregnant women in Imbi Village, North Jayapura District. This activity will be carried out from February to August 2023. Results of community service activities: a team of companions for pregnant women was formed at 2 Posyandu in the work area of Imbi Health Center, Imbi Village, consisting of 5 companions at Posyandu Tampandura and three companions at Posyandu Mahikay. There was an increase in cadres' knowledge by 30 points after the training. Mentoring activities were successfully carried out for four months. From these activities, there was an increase in Hb levels, mothers' motivation to carry out ANC examinations, and an increase in the LILA of pregnant women. Conclusion: assistance to pregnant women can overcome maternal nutritional problems and reduce risk factors for stunting children. Suggestion: It is necessary to continue to guide the accompanying team by Health officers for the sustainability of this program.

Study of the Readiness of Specific Services for Senior High School’s Health Clinic in Jayapura

Senior High School (SMA) as an educational institution is responsible for ensuring the healthy environment that supports students' learning activities. However, in reality, the health of the school environment cannot be fully guaranteed. Various previous research studies have found various threats to the health of students originating from within the school environment, such as schools that are not yet free from cigarette smoke. The purpose of this study is to describe the current condition of the availability of School's Health Clinic facilities and infrastructure in high schools in Jayapura City and Jayapura District. The method used was descriptive quantitative approach with cross sectional design and Univariate Analysis. The research instruments refers to the minimum standard of Senior High School's health clinic according to the Regulation of the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number 24 Year 2007. The sample consisted of 32 public and private schools in Jayapura city and Jayapura district. The results showed that there was no extreme difference between the readiness of Senior High School's Health Clinic facilities and infrastructure in Jayapura City and District. However, public schools mostly have more adequate availability of Senior High School's Health Clinic facilities and infrastructure compared to private schools spread across the City and District areas.

Providing Education about Hypertension in the Elderly at the Tresna Werdha Elderly Age Private House Posts 7 Sentani, Jayapura District

ABSTRACT Background The elderly group can trigger the emergence of various diseases such as arthritis, heart and blood vessels, hypertension. Body mass index (BMI) is directly correlated with blood pressure, especially systolic blood pressure. Elderly people who have a history of hypertension take hypertension medication, receive less education regarding hypertension, but are given regular check-ups, namely posyandu, by the nearest health center. Based on this, it is necessary to provide regular education or counseling about hypertension in the elderly. The method of implementing activities is carried out through an approach, namely analyzing the conditions of the target area, followed by identifying problems, planning interventions and carrying out implementation to overcome the planned problems by carrying out activities in the form of providing education, namely health promotion. associated with hypertension. As a result of observations from this health education activity, there were 3 elderly people who actively asked the instructor. Then the instructor answered questions from the elderly. After getting answers to their questions, the elderly people who asked seemed to understand. Providing Education about HIV/AIDS in Smks. Santo Yosef Nazaret Jayapura District

ABSTRACT The lack of appropriate and relevant information about HIV/AIDS and supported by the curious attitude of teenagers causes teenagers to be one of the populations with high risk behavior. Apart from that, the problem of HIV/AIDS in adolescents does not only have a negative physical impact, but can also affect mental health, emotions, economic conditions and social welfare in the long term. This not only affects teenagers themselves, but also families, society and the nation so that knowledge and attitudes have an important role in shaping behavior in preventing HIV/AIDS. However, in this case it is necessary to provide information in the form of education to increase knowledge and improve their own attitudes. The method used in this service so that students can be interested and absorb the education provided more quickly is providing education through audio-visual media (video) and print media (leaflets). Health education using videos and leaflets has a more significant impact on increasing knowledge because teenagers will be more interested in videos and leaflets, making teenagers less bored of watching and reading. WEB-BASED INFORMATION SYSTEM PREDICTION OF VEHICLE THEFT VULNERABILITY IN JAYAPURA USING REGRESSION ANALYSIS

Vehicle theft in Jayapura Regency is quite high and there is no application to assist the police in making estimates or predictions of the number of theft cases that will occur in the next year. In 2022, cases of theft in Jayapura district will start to increase. to make these predictions the authors designed and built a system that can predict the number of these cases in building this application the authors use the Regression Analysis method this process can help the police predict the number of cases in the coming year. The development method used is SDLC, linear regression analysis and using the PHP programming language, the database uses MYSQL, Sublime Text. This research was conducted because there was no system that could assist the staff of the Resort Police (Polres) of Jayapura Regency. From this research, a system for predicting the level of vulnerability to motorized vehicle theft has been successfully built at the Jayapura District Police with data processed for attendance data using face region, reporting data using barcodes, queue data using counters and digital archive data helping the police store important documents.

Peranan Perempuan Pengrajin Noken dalam memenuhi Kebutuhan Sosial Ekonomi Keluarga

This study aims to analyse the role of women noken crafts in meeting the socio-economic needs of the family, what are the results achieved by women noken crafts in Bhayangkara Village, North Jayapura District, and the obstacles faced in meeting the socio-economic needs of the family. The method used in the research is descriptive qualitative method. The subjects of this research are women noken crafts, Jayapura City Women's Empowerment Office, Bhayangkara Village. Data collection techniques using interview guidelines, observation and documentation techniques. While data analysis uses data editing techniques, data reduction, categorising in units, presenting data, interpreting data, testing data validity and drawing conclusions/verification. The results showed that the role of women noken crafts in Bhayangkara Village, North Jayapura District can be said to be unfavourable, in terms of education, health, and social status. The utilisation of noken bag weaving in Bhayangkara Village, North Jayapura District found inhibiting factors, including: business capital, means of buying and selling, utilisation of models/motifs, and extension of the Jayapura City Women's Empowerment Office. By weaving Noken bags, the women aim to support the daily economy of the Noken crafters' families by realising the local community's socio-economy in terms of income. In other words, the use of Noken bags can affect socioeconomic improvements such as food, clothing, shelter, children's education, health, and ownership of valuables.

Study of Stunting Financing Handling in Dosay Health Center, West Sentani District, Jayapura Regency

There are 3 important nutritional problems that occur in Indonesia, namely: poor nutrition (stunting and wasting); nutritional problems of overweight and obesity; and micronutrient deficiency problems (anemia, vitamin A deficiency, and iodine deficiency). The aim of this research is to examine the handling of stunting financing at the Dosay Community Health Center. Data collection was carried out through interviews with the nutrition program manager of the Jayapura District Health Service and the nutrition program management at the Dosay Community Health Center, as well as representatives from the community, a total of 11 informants. The results of this research state that the beneficiaries of the stunting financing program are pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and children aged 0-49 months. The funding allocation for handling stunting financing at the Dosay Community Health Center in 2020 was 741,632,500, increasing in 2021 to 832,928,000 and in 2022 decreasing to 755,233,000.

Evaluation of the Local Content Learning Program for Local Language in Jayapura District Using the CIPP Evaluation Model

Local governments in Indonesia through schools are starting to be moved to teach local languages as local content lessons to protect local local languages. Jayapura district also implements local content of the local language. This study aims to evaluate the Local Language Learning Program in Jayapura District. This research was evaluative research with CIPP model and using a qualitative approach. The data analysis technique used was Miles and Huberman. The formulation of the problem in this study was that the Regional Language Local Content Learning program in Jayapura Regency has been running since 2022 and, in fact, faces various obstacles; for this reason, it is necessary to conduct a thorough evaluation research on this program. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by means of interviews, documentation studies, and observations. The results obtained in this study include in the context dimension, it is found that the local language local content program in Jayapura Regency was implemented quite well. In the input dimension, this program is also in the sufficient category. The process dimension in this study is also in the sufficient category. Then the product evaluation, has less results.

PENINGKATAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MANAJEMEN BAGI MASYARAKAT NELAYAN DI LAUT ARGAPURA, DISTRIK JAYAPURA SELATAN, KOTA JAYAPURA

The fishing community in Argapura Laut, South Jayapura District, Jayapura City has a settlement pattern that is above sea water, so the connecting road there is a rafting road. The condition of the existing jeramba road depends on the economy of the existing community. Each house has responsibility for the rapids around its house. The economic conditions of the people in Argapura Laut are very varied so it is very necessary to increase knowledge about management. The livelihood of the people in Argapura Laut is dominated by fishermen. The concept of fishermen there is fishing with basic fishing techniques. The aim of this service is to increase knowledge and understanding of the application of management concepts for the fishing community in Argapura Laut, South Jayapura District, Jayapura City. The method used is outreach and training on the implementation of POAC for the community. The expected result is that people have knowledge and understanding of management science and concepts and can apply them in everyday life so that people can maximize what is meant by effective and efficient.

Ondoafi Power Structure in the Traditional Village Government System in Jayapura District

The implementation of the traditional regional government system and the Ondoafi government system will certainly face organizational obstacles both in terms of culture, organization and social law. Structurally, the Ondoafi traditional government has broad rights/authorities and is seen and respected by the customary law community. On the government administration side, there is supervision of local governments and of course prevention of community/social relations. This research uses legal and empirical research. The results of this research illustrate that Ondoafi actually regulates two government systems, namely; The traditional government system is a general or traditional and regional government system established based on the regional planning of Jayapura Regency, as well as a new system of traditional city structures that already exist in the traditional government system and local culture. traditional government system, inherited by custom, sacred and responsible for Ondoafi's work. However, there are also new structures, functions and activities that enable Ondoafi to carry out his duties as a traditional leader in both public and private aspects.

STRATEGI PENATAAN PEDAGANG PELAKU USAHA KECIL DI AREA ENTROP JAYAPURA

The uncontrolled development of street vendors makes them occupy every empty space in the city even if it is a public facility. The street vendors illegally sell almost all pedestrian paths, open spaces, green lanes and other urban spaces. The existence of street vendors has positive and negative sides, thus making the existence of street vendors a dilemma for the city government in arranging them One of the trading areas in Jayapura City that is widely occupied by street vendors is the Entrop area. This area is located between Jayapura and Abepura, so its position becomes strategic. The subjects referred to in this study are street vendors located along Jl. Kelapa Dua, Entrop, Jayapura City. The analysis method used in this study is a qualitative approach where research on data, findings and visualization in the field is carried out by prioritizing description, explanation and comparison which includes descriptive, assumptive, and normative. The street vendors operating in Entrop often occupy locations that are not actually intended for street vendors. The location used is the shoulder of the road along Jln. Kelapa Dua, Entrop Village, South Jayapura District, Jayapura City. Solutions that can be done to provide effective space and space to street vendors in Entrop, Jayapura City are regional planning by involving all regional stakeholders, relocating street vendors into the market and increasing the knowledge and participation of street vendors in waste processing.

Implementation of the Principle of Accountability in the name Transfer Procedure of Property Rights Certificate at the Land Office Jayapura District

To ensure legal certainty, it is important to fulfill obligations during the process of changing the name on the title certificate at the Jayapura Regency Land Office. The aim of this research is to determine the application of the principle of Accountability in the process of changing the name of a property rights certificate at the Jayapura Regency Land Office and to identify the variables that cause this process to encounter obstacles. The research approach used is normative, meaning it refers to secondary legal materials such as books, articles, written regulations and other legal documents. The findings of this research indicate that the Jayapura Regency Land Office, in accordance with the Republic of Indonesia PERKABAN, has implemented the principle of accountability fully and correctly in the process of submitting title transfers for land ownership certificates. There are 2 (two) obstacles, both internal and external, in implementing land ownership rights at the Jayapura Regency Land Office. Internal obstacles include a lack of human resources and the large volume of applications that have been submitted to the Jayapura Regency Land Office. Meanwhile there are external challenges, such as the large number of heirs and tax arrears.
