Analisis Kesiapan Implementasi Rekam Medis Elektronik Rawat Jalan di Rumah Sakit X

Changing the medical record information system from manual to electronic will make it easier to record information about patients in a practical and fast way. This change is related to the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, namely that all health facilities are expected to have implemented electronic medical records in accordance with the provisions no later than December 31, 2023. In this case, it is necessary to know the level of readiness of hospitals in implementing outpatient electronic medical records. The purpose of this study was to analyze to determine the readiness of implementing outpatient electronic medical records at Hospital X using the Doctor's Office Quality – Information Technology (DOQ-IT) method. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. The research instrument is a questionnaire. Readiness analysis using the EHR Readiness Starter Assessment from DOQ-IT. The level of readiness for the implementation of outpatient electronic medical records at Tk. III Dr. R. Soeharsono Banjarmasin is very well prepared. This value is included in the very ready score range. While the level of readiness for implementation in the variable, namely, organizational work culture of 42.14 is in the very ready score range, 34.72 leadership governance is in the very ready score range, human resources is 21.19 in the very ready score range, and IT infrastructure of 15.69 is in the fairly ready range of scores.

This paper investigates AI's evolving role in the sector and its implications for employment trends, drawing from a review of secondary sources including various research journal papers, and reports of White House, World Economic Forum, and McKinsey, etc. It analyses the current AI applications in IT, focusing on areas where automation and augmentation will likely impact traditional roles. The study views AI as complementing rather than replacing human labour, foreseeing potential for new job creation and transformations in existing positions, especially in cybersecurity, software development, and IT infrastructure management. Policy recommendations and strategic initiatives from various stakeholders are examined to maximize AI benefits while addressing employment risks. Insights from government and industry reports stress the need for workforce preparation through reskilling and upskilling. Ethical considerations around AI deployment in IT underscore responsible innovation and inclusive growth. This study delves into the impact of technological advancements on firm performance within the Islamic banking sector in Saudi Arabia, focusing on the roles of Internet of Things (IoT) capabilities, Cloud Computing Capabilities (CCC), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities. It explores how these technological dimensions influence operational efficiency, customer engagement, and competitive positioning, thereby affecting overall firm performance. The research further investigates the mediating role of digital innovation in translating technological capabilities into performance outcomes and examines the moderating effects of digital capabilities and IT flexibility on this relationship. Through empirical analysis, the study demonstrates that IoT, CCC, and AI capabilities are crucial drivers of firm performance, offering significant opportunities for process optimization, service innovation, and market differentiation. Digital innovation is identified as a key mediator that enables Islamic banks to harness the full potential of these technologies, suggesting that the strategic integration of digital innovation practices is vital for realizing performance gains. Analysis of Software Tools for Automation of Configuration and Management Functions in It Infrastructures

The work by the authors, using a systematic approach, analyzes a group of software tools that are functionally oriented towards the automated implementation of configuration and management processes in IT infrastructures. The research profile focuses on a methodology known in the professional environment as “Infrastructure as Code” (IaC) and is one of the foundational methodologies implemented in a systemic combination within the DevOps methodology. This methodology is actively used in processes of dynamic formation, deployment, and maintenance of corporate IT infrastructures in many modern successful high-tech companies to achieve the best business performance, efficiency, guaranteed success, and security. The article discusses two basic approaches to building software tools that implement the IaC methodology, namely the declarative and imperative approaches. The main emphasis is placed on the formation of a set of advantages and disadvantages inherent in software tools such as Terraform, ARM, Ansible, and CloudFormation. The focus of researchers on these four software tools is explained by their leading positions in a fairly extensive lineup of possible alternative software products that allow for a comprehensive implementation of the IaC methodology in the context of full and functional systemic deployment of the DevOps methodology in specific implementations of corporate IT infrastructures. The authors' generalized conclusion of original scientific research is that there is currently no single clearly distinguished universal software tool among others that fully satisfies the entire spectrum of requirements and needs. Potential users in this context are communities of DevOps professionals and clients – owners and managers of modern dynamic high- tech and successful companies, firms, and businesses that rely on modern information systems and technologies.

Engineering biology and automation–Replicability as a design principle

AbstractApplications in engineering biology increasingly share the need to run operations on very large numbers of biological samples. This is a direct consequence of the application of good engineering practices, the limited predictive power of current computational models and the desire to investigate very large design spaces in order to solve the hard, important problems the discipline promises to solve. Automation has been proposed as a key component for running large numbers of operations on biological samples. This is because it is strongly associated with higher throughput, and with higher replicability (thanks to the reduction of human input). The authors focus on replicability and make the point that, far from being an additional burden for automation efforts, replicability should be considered central to the design of the automated pipelines processing biological samples at scale—as trialled in biofoundries. There cannot be successful automation without effective error control. Design principles for an IT infrastructure that supports replicability are presented. Finally, the authors conclude with some perspectives regarding the evolution of automation in engineering biology. In particular, they speculate that the integration of hardware and software will show rapid progress, and offer users a degree of control and abstraction of the robotic infrastructure on a level significantly greater than experienced today.

ORGANIZATIONAL RESILIENCE AND THE AIRLINE INDUSTRY: A QUALITATIVE STUDY

Airlines frequently experience several disruptive events that can substantially deviate operations from planned routines, resulting in significant losses. It's crucial for airlines to develop resources and consistently identify opportunities for adaptation to these unpredictable circumstances. Despite predetermined plans for specific situations often exist, there is often a lack of policy-level guidelines for preparing for unknown circumstances— a concept known as resilience policy. This study delves into the constructs of resilience policy by drawing insights from 10 semi-structured interviews conducted with executives from 6 airline companies in Turkey. The findings pinpoint seven key criteria that offer a roadmap for effective policy development: financial management, flexibility and adaptability, effective risk management, strong leadership and culture, talent management, robust IT infrastructure, and collaborative partnerships. These criteria collectively provide a roadmap for developing policies that enhance an airline's ability to manage unexpected disruptions efficiently.

Challenges and opportunities for the application of digital twins in hard-to-abate industries: a review

The energy-intensive industry, heavily reliant on heat generation processes, faces the critical challenge of drastically reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This study reviews the potential of digital twin technology in decarbonizing combustion-dependent manufacturing processes. While primarily focusing on scholarly articles, our analysis may not cover all current industrial practices and digital twin implementations. This paper highlights challenges and opportunities in deploying practical digital twins for industrial furnaces within the Industry 4.0 framework. Digital twins, integrating real-time simulation models with predictive capabilities, aim to enhance industrial furnaces’ design, operation, and maintenance by combining high-fidelity simulations with data-driven modelling techniques. The findings indicate that digital twins can facilitate the transition to furnace electrification and adopting zero-carbon fuels, significantly reducing emissions and optimizing overall furnace performance. However, challenges like model reliability and high upfront investments in IT and connectivity infrastructures limit their widespread adoption. Despite these limitations, ongoing technological advancements predict a rapid expansion of digital twin applications in industrial furnaces, making them indispensable for achieving decarbonization goals in energy-intensive industries.

Towards a smart hospital: Smart infrastructure integration

In today’s business world, digital technologies have become vital for implementing processes in any company, including the healthcare industry. By utilizing the latest technologies to collect, process, analyze, and transmit data through smart devices and IT infrastructure, it is possible to implement trends in medicine as a value approach, personalization, predictability, and participation. Considering these trends, it is necessary to develop a methodology for creating a management system for medical organizations that can comprehensively and interconnectively develop various elements of the system. This includes business process systems, information systems and application architectures, hardware, and "smart" medical equipment that can fully participate in hospital information exchange. These elements should be developed within a single model. An architectural approach can be used to create a model of a medical organization. This paper examines the integration of smart infrastructure in medical organizations, develops requirements for smart infrastructure services, and creates architectural models based on the findings and requirements. Architecture models were developed for the following elements of the Smart Infrastructure: smart wards, wearable devices and telemedicine stands as the most necessary elements in everyday healthcare. The key discovery of the study is the architecture models of the mentioned elements and their integration with the medical organization IT architecture, described in the form of visual models and data exchange tables. The proposed models can be used both for further research or for practical implementation as the reference models to check up and adopt to each individual case. The solutions proposed in the paper give an example of open innovation philosophy, as they are developed on the basis of open information about the innovation activities of various medical organizations, and, at the same, time the results themselves are openly published and open for adaptation by the scientific and practicing medical community.

The future of pharmacy work: How pharmacists are adapting to and preparing for technology infusion

BackgroundThe pharmacy sector is rapidly evolving due to technological advancements, presenting challenges and opportunities for pharmacists. However, limited literature exists on the future of pharmacy work, especially concerning technology adoption. ObjectiveThis exploratory study investigates pharmacists' perspectives on the impact of technologies on the profession - including career security, role evolution, adjustments to changes - and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on technology implementation and the broader future of work in pharmacy. MethodA cross-sectional survey design was used, targeting all registered pharmacists in New Zealand. A questionnaire, adapted from Future of Work literature, was piloted and distributed to 3037 pharmacists. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, two-step hierarchical analysis, and content and thematic analysis. Ethics approval was obtained. Results177 responses met the inclusion criteria, yielding a 5.82% response rate. Respondent demographics included a lower proportion of community pharmacists and individuals of Asian ethnicity, but a higher proportion of males and hospital pharmacists compared to the national workforce. Most respondents were aged between 30 and 59 years, representing all District Health Board locations.Qualitative analysis identified two themes: 1) Factors affecting technology adoption across macro, meso and micro levels, including COVID-19's impact on work efficiency, regulatory gaps, fragmented IT and organizational infrastructures, patient safety, and attitudes at workforce and individual levels; 2) Career impacts, highlighting role expansion, job replacement fears, and the need for adaptation and upskilling. Quantitative findings indicate that early technology adopters are more prepared to learn new skills and plan their careers. Technology impact positively correlates with career planning, while job loss concerns negatively affect skill development readiness. ConclusionThe study underscores the importance of early technological adoption for readiness to acquire new skills and career planning in pharmacy. Embracing technological change, supported by regulatory and policy frameworks, is crucial for advancing the profession.

Trust Management and Resource Optimization in Edge and Fog Computing Using the CyberGuard Framework.

The growing importance of edge and fog computing in the modern IT infrastructure is driven by the rise of decentralized applications. However, resource allocation within these frameworks is challenging due to varying device capabilities and dynamic network conditions. Conventional approaches often result in poor resource use and slowed advancements. This study presents a novel strategy for enhancing resource allocation in edge and fog computing by integrating machine learning with the blockchain for reliable trust management. Our proposed framework, called CyberGuard, leverages the blockchain's inherent immutability and decentralization to establish a trustworthy and transparent network for monitoring and verifying edge and fog computing transactions. CyberGuard combines the Trust2Vec model with conventional machine-learning models like SVM, KNN, and random forests, creating a robust mechanism for assessing trust and security risks. Through detailed optimization and case studies, CyberGuard demonstrates significant improvements in resource allocation efficiency and overall system performance in real-world scenarios. Our results highlight CyberGuard's effectiveness, evidenced by a remarkable accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score of 98.18%, showcasing the transformative potential of our comprehensive approach in edge and fog computing environments.

Designing Claim Systems in Health Insurance Companies with Microservices and Event-Driven Architecture Approach

Through digital transformation, insurance companies, especially in the health sector, are increasingly adopting modern technologies to enhance efficiency and service quality. Health insurance allows individuals or families to mitigate the financial risks associated with high and unexpected medical expenses. One crucial area is insurance claim, where a fast and accurate process is key to customer satisfaction. This study proposes the design and architecture of an insurance claim system using a microservices and event-driven approach. This approach enables insurance companies to break down applications into separate components, facilitating scalability, flexibility, and easier maintenance. Additionally, with an event-driven approach, the system can quickly respond to changes and events in the business environment. A comprehensive analysis shows that implementing microservices and event-driven architecture in the insurance claim system can enhance overall system performance, scalability, and resilience. For insurance companies, adopting microservices and event-driven architecture can lead to increased operational efficiency, reduced time to market for new products, and improved customer experiences through faster claim processing. Policyholders will benefit from quicker claim resolutions and a more transparent and responsive claim process. This study provides valuable insights for health insurance companies looking to upgrade their IT infrastructure to meet future challenges. The findings from this research will be documented to support the development of insurance business technology, specifically for health insurance claims in Indonesia.

Aspek Penerapan Manajemen Risiko Untuk Industri 4.0

Industry 4.0 is a relatively new method of managing production processes. In the field of risk management, as a result of new approaches, modified frameworks, more complex IT infrastructure, and so on, new types of risks may appear. In many cases, the application of Industry 4.0 has shown that the relationship between people, systems, and objects has become a more complex, dynamic, and real-time optimized network. On the other hand, there is the fact that the increase in the volume and availability of data in real time has led to new requirements on infrastructure, management, technology and so on. The purpose of this paper is to conduct research on Industry 4.0 related to the main aspects and present a draft framework for implementing risk management in the Industry 4.0 concept.

Promoting Traditional Enterprise Management Innovation Through Informatization

This study explores the benefits and challenges of traditional enterprises in China in adopting informatization. The findings reveal that traditional enterprises face a variety of challenges, including resistance to change, lack of digital skills, outdated IT infrastructure, and limited government funding. However, informatization has led to significant improvements in product and service quality, productivity, cost savings, and innovation for the respondent enterprises. Strategies to overcome these challenges include developing a change management program, establishing a dedicated committee for budget allocation, fostering a culture of collaboration and communication among stakeholders, conducting a thorough assessment of current systems, developing a talent management strategy, collaborating with industry associations and government agencies, building a network of regulatory experts, and developing a proactive approach to engagement with regulatory agencies. Leadership commitment and financial resources are critical to the success of informatization initiatives. Technological infrastructure is crucial for information security and reliability. Government policies have mixed views on their impact on digital transformation efforts. Recommendations include addressing resistance to change, developing digital skills, overcoming hierarchical structures, communicating benefits, investing in technology, improving technological infrastructure, enhancing cybersecurity measures, and advocating for supportive policies.

Principles of Cloud Computing Infrastructure IaaS

Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) represents a cornerstone in contemporary cloud computing, providing essential on-demand computing resources, including servers, storage, and networking. This paper explores the foundational principles of IaaS, highlighting its ability to facilitate dynamic server management through practices like auto-scaling and ephemeral server utilization. The use of custom images in IaaS ensures minimal downtime and scalable deployment, while loose coupling enhances fault tolerance and adaptability. Emphasizing high availability through auto-scaling, IaaS supports continuous operations even in geographically vulnerable areas. The security framework of IaaS, encompassing a shared responsibility model, ensures robust data protection and compliance with industry standards. The paper also addresses cost optimization strategies and the integration of hybrid cloud architectures to maximize resource efficiency and maintain data integrity. Overall, IaaS is integral to modern IT infrastructure, offering flexible, scalable, and cost-effective solutions that align with the evolving demands of the digital landscape.

Performance Analysis and Optimization Proposal Using Balanced Scorecard Framework for IT Outsourcing Company, PT IT Expert System

IT outsourcing companies enable businesses to delegate their IT functions, focusing on core activities, cost efficiency, and access to advanced expertise and technology. The success of these companies hinges on employee performance, influenced by factors like psychological well-being, work environment, and organizational culture. In Indonesia, the IT outsourcing industry is rapidly transforming due to increasing demand for digital solutions and technology experts. Companies strive to provide faster, more efficient services while being flexible and adaptable. The IT services market revenue in Indonesia is expected to grow from $4.89 billion in 2023 to $9.07 billion in 2028, driven by digital transformation, supportive government policies, and increased IT infrastructure investments. PT IT Expert System (PT IES), established in 2010, provides IT services like software development and IT outsourcing. Despite sector growth, PT IES’s financial performance has declined, with monthly revenue dropping from Rp. 220 million to Rp. 140 million, affecting liquidity and leading to debt for paying salaries. This financial strain is partly due to 46% of their IT professionals being idle and a lack of software development projects. The research aims to identify the main causes of PT IES’s business problems, determine an appropriate performance management system framework, and establish suitable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The root cause identified is the absence of a performance management system, leading to an ineffective appraisal system and poor decision-making. The Balanced Scorecard framework is recommended for PT IES, translating strategic objectives into measurable processes across four perspectives. This framework streamlines performance evaluation and forecasting. The Balanced Scorecard framework proposal includes 4 perspectives, 9 strategic themes, and 18 strategies with key objectives. These strategies are cascaded into 92 business strategies and objectives with 92 KPIs.

SECURITY IN CLOUD COMPUTING

By offering scalable and easily available computer resources over the internet, cloud computing has radically changed IT infrastructures all around. Ensuring the security of cloud systems remains a major difficulty even if they are used widely in many different fields. This abstract explores the intricate elements of cloud computing security including technical advancement, challenges, and methods. Data breaches, insider threats, and compliance complexities are among the main challenges; strong protections like authentication, authorization, and encryption will help to maintain data integrity and security. By redefining trust models and access restrictions in cloud systems, blockchain and zero-trust architecture are absolutely essential in increasing security. Emphasizing the importance of tying security measures with legal obligations, regulatory compliance systems such GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO/IEC 27001 set rigorous demands on cloud providers and users. Service level agreements (SLAs) help to define and explain providers' and customers' security obligations. They list procedures for problem resolution and service guarantees. This abstract ends with stressing the always shifting nature of challenges in cloud security and the pressing need of adaptive security solutions to effectively lower developing hazards. It offers a whole view that is absolutely essential for comprehending and controlling the complexity of protecting cloud computing systems.

The method of assessing the effectiveness of the security of confidential data of the distributed information system

The paper proposes a method of assessing the effectiveness of the security of confidential data of a distributed information system, based on a model for determining the current threats to the security of confidential data in the information system, on algorithms of fuzzy inference and the theory of fuzzy neural systems, unlike known ones, it uses sufficient and necessary indicators, excludes expert errors , increases the detection of actual threats to the security of confidential information system data by 5%, reduces the cost of purchasing information protection tools from 15 to 30%. It takes into account the following factors: the IT infrastructure of the distributed information system, the capabilities of attackers and their level of motivation in the information system. The proposed approach differs from existing ones by an automated process, the need to involve highly qualified specialists in the field of information security, and low computational complexity; absence of deficiencies in expert assessments; allows you to determine the list of current information security threats in information systems of various classes and types. The task of ensuring the security of confidential data is urgent, which is due to the growth of computer attacks and leaks of information, which are reflected in the statistical data on the commission of crimes in the field of high technologies, the growth of criminal activity using modern communication devices and the Internet. The existing methods of identifying current threats to information security and assessing the effectiveness of the security of confidential data cannot be used at all stages of the life cycle of distributed information systems, they do not take into account the following indicators in the complex: IT infrastructure of distributed systems, current threats to information security, security requirements of confidential data, their cost as important indicators when solving these problems. One of the most important tasks of ensuring the security of confidential data is the evaluation of the effectiveness of the protection system. In this regard, the goal of the research is to improve the quality of the assessment of the effectiveness of the security of confidential data of a distributed information system by determining sufficient and necessary indicators using modern information technologies, which allow the most effective solution of the following tasks: determining the parameters of the adaptive production fuzzy neural systems, which most suitable for solving the tasks, the application of Data Science technologies in data processing, algorithms of fuzzy output.

The Effect of Digitalisation of Safety Accountability Program (SAP) on the Improvement of Occupational Safety System

PT Putra Perkasa Abadi site PT Bukit Asam Tbk is a company engaged in the mining sector with business processes including topsoil removal, overburden removal, haul road maintenance, road construction, pit service, equipment rental, coal getting and coal hauling. The purpose of the study is to analyze the influence of SAP digitalization on the improvement of the occupational safety system, identify the benefits and challenges in the process of digitizing the occupational safety system, and formulate strategies and recommendations to optimize the implementation of the digitalization of the occupational safety system. This research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods through literature studies, field observations, in-depth interviews, document analysis, and surveys. One of the steps taken to improve the implementation of the work safety system is the digitalization of the Safety Accountability Program (SAP) of Partners. Based on data obtained through primary data sources from 30 respondents, namely supervisors from 9 Partners of PT Putra Perkasa Abadi site PT Bukit Asam Tbk, and analysis using the Likert scale, it was concluded that SAP digitalization has a great influence on the role of management with an average score of 91, Conditions and workplaces with an average score of 93, awareness and quality of workers with an average score of 91, project performance with an average score of 92. Research Results: SAP digitalization has been proven to improve the effectiveness of occupational safety systems through increased efficiency, data accuracy, and better decision-making. However, there are several challenges faced, such as resistance to change and system integration. Recommended strategies include improved training, effective communication, and the development of adequate IT infrastructure. This means that, overall, it is very influential in improving the safety system of PT Putra Perkasa Abadi's partner, PT Bukit Asam Tbk with an average score of 92.
