In the theory of architecture, there are some studies that touch on this issue, but in our opinion, the works presented above have a sufficiently justified methodological basis for understanding and building a hierarchical model of architectural systems, different in functional content.Such approach is used in relation to the security environment. Taking into account the principle scheme of interconnections of different levels of the hierarchy of the recreation system, the principle of formation of options of its spatial structure, relying on the hierarchy of types of spatial formations of recreation systems, and having experience in the field of researching of the basics of the security environment the authors proposed a hierarchical model of the security environment. This approach is based on the use of the principle of structure invariance, which determines the universality of formal models of architectural systems, which can be used for researching and evaluation of objects of different complexity and purpose. Also, on the basis of the above, it can be concluded that in general, by the level of acculturation, spatial security environment is divided into anthropogenic-natural and natural-anthropogenic.In the work, a hierarchical model of the spatial security environment is proposed, which includes 7 levels according to the hierarchy: national, regional, district, local, primary, object, elementary. At the levels from regional to elementary, taking into account the previously proposed typology of PSC on the example of Kharkiv region, a hierarchical structure of PSC networks was developed, the filling of which occurs from the lower to the higher level. The importance of the participation of the local population of the UTC in ensuring the safety of the community was also emphasized, which is the basis for the formation of volunteer fire brigades in the territories of UTC, organization of cooperation between the population and security agencies and ensuring of public awareness about the actions in case of an emergency situation.
