The development of schools requires support from the surrounding community. This is commonly referred to as participatory management in the field of education. It is a strategic step towards the development of schools, particularly Islamic-based schools. The research aims to 1) describe the process of implementing participatory management in managing Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Wonosegoro, and 2) describe the internalization of participatory management through program activities in managing Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Wonosegoro. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The research instrument used is an interview guide. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis utilized the Spradley model, which includes Domain analysis, Taxonomic analysis, and Componential analysis. The research findings revealed that organizing involves establishing an organizational structure that involves community participation. The implementation phase involves carrying out the management plan and daily activities of the Islamic boarding school. The community must actively participate in the implementation of various programs and activities. The control stage involves evaluating the achievement of goals and the performance of the pesantren, as well as taking corrective action if necessary. This includes evaluating programs and activities with the community, either through surveys, group discussions, or joint reflection sessions. The internalization program includes nightly activities, delegation of students, determination of educators, and the haul of Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Wonosegoro.
