The author examines Nicolas Negroponte's contention that the IT revolution is over in the light of their experience with the first year of the Internet and Higher Education. He concludes that the technical aspects of the IT revolution are indeed far advanced, but that issues of curriculum and pedagogical reform lag far behind.
