Annotation: This paper discusses the key features and benefits of using interactive methods in teaching adverbs in Russian. Interactive learning approaches, such as group discussions, role-playing, language games, and digital tools, enhance students' engagement and comprehension by creating a dynamic and participatory classroom environment. The study examines how these methods can facilitate better understanding and retention of adverbial usage in the Russian language, particularly in differentiating types of adverbs and mastering their syntactic roles. The paper also explores the use of technology-based tools to provide real-time feedback, making the learning process more personalized and efficient. The practical implementation of interactive exercises promotes active participation and fosters a collaborative learning atmosphere, which is essential for mastering the nuances of adverbs in Russian.

Strategies To Overcome Language Barriers For Native Arabic Speakers In English-Dominant Medical Curricula—A Review

The globalization of medical education has led to a significant increase in the number of non-native Englishspeaking students pursuing medical studies in English-speaking countries. Among these students, Arabicspeaking learners face unique challenges due to linguistic differences. This literature review synthesizes existing research to identify the key challenges encountered by Arabic-speaking students in English medical education and explores strategies to address these challenges. This review revealed that to ensure the success of native Arabic speakers in English-based medical programs, a comprehensive approach is vital. By incorporating effective pedagogy, advancements in technology, and the potential of artificial intelligence (AI), educational outcomes can be significantly improved. Interactive learning approaches such as problem-based learning and virtual simulations, coupled with tailored language support and technological tools such as e-learning platforms, can revolutionize the educational experience for these students. AI has the potential to create adaptive learning environments that cater to individual student needs and tutors, create interactive resources, and provide immediate feedback. By integrating these strategies and technologies, educators can create a supportive, inclusive learning environment that promotes the success of native Arabic speakers in their medical studies and future careers and equips them with the skills required to deliver optimal healthcare in a global context.

Development and Validation of a Physical Activity-Based Freedom of Movement in Kindergarten

Objectives. This study aimed to develop and validate a learning model of physical activity-based freedom of movement in kindergarten. Materials and methods. This study used a design-based research (DBR) method, which involved twelve experts in early childhood education and physical activity education to help validate the learning model. The stages of development included research and information collecting, planning, development of a preliminary product form, and validation. A statistical analysis was carried out using Aiken’s V value to test the model’s validity. Results. This study successfully developed a learning model of physical activity-based freedom of movement in kindergarten, consisting of four main elements: “I love the Earth”, “I love Indonesia”, “Playing and cooperating” / ”We are all siblings”, and “My imagination” / “Imagination and creativity”. Based on the validity test conducted with twelve experts, the learning model of physical activity-based freedom of movement in kindergarten received an Aiken’s V value of 0.82, which exceeds the minimum standard of 0.80. Conclusions. The findings indicate that implementing the learning model of physical activity-based freedom of movement has been considered as an appropriate pedagogical approach for kindergarten learning. The analysis shows that the model is aligned with children’s developmental needs and supports an interactive and creative learning approach consistent with the Merdeka Curriculum in Indonesia.

This researcch aims to apply the Problem Based Learning model to improve critical thinking skills of Phase F students of Class XI of Senior High School SMA N 1 Sorkam Barat. The results of the analysis showed a significant increase in students' critical thinking skills in the application of the Problem Based Learning model in each cycle for two meetings. The results of the observation showed that each meeting got a good average score. The overall achievement of activities in the first meeting reached 95% for the assessment of observer 1 and 96.25% for the assessment of observer 2. The overall achievement of activities in the second meeting reached 97.5%. The teacher's ability to Orient Students to Problems in cycle I increased by 50% to 83.3% with an increase of 66.7%. The teacher's ability to Organize Students to Learn in cycle I increased by 80% to 90% with an increase of 12.5%. The teacher's ability to Assist Research is 100%. The teacher's ability to Develop and Present Work Results in Cycle I increased by 83.3% to 100% with an increase of 20%. Teachers' ability in Evaluating the Problem Solving Process in cycle I increased by 80% to 90% with an increase of 12.5%. Students' ability in Providing Simple Explanations in cycle I increased by 30% to 60% with an increase of 100%. Students' ability in Building Basic Skills increased by 26.7% with an increase of 100%. Students' ability in Making Inferences increased by 40% with an increase of 100%. Students' ability in Providing Further Explanations increased by 26.7% with an increase of 100%. Students' ability in Organizing Strategies and Tactics increased by 33.3% with an increase of 100%. The recommendations of this study include facilitating teachers in implementing effective Problem Based Learning models and expanding project-based and interactive learning approaches.

Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Menggunakan Model Project Based Learning Berbantuan Media Audio Visual Fase C Kelas VI SDN 033913 Kalang Baru

This research aims to apply the Project Based Learning model to improve critical thinking skills of Phase C Class VI students of Elementary School UPT SD Negeri 033913 Kalang Baru. This research process uses a classroom action research (CAR) method assisted by audio-visual media involving 5 Phase C class VI students in the 2024/2025 academic year. The results of the analysis show a significant increase in students' critical thinking skills in the application of the Project Based Learning model in each cycle for two meetings. The implementation of the PjBL model steps that have been applied such as determining basic statements, preparing project plans, preparing schedules, monitoring, testing results, and evaluating experiences. The results of the observation show that each meeting gets a good average score. The overall achievement of activities at the first meeting reached 95% for the assessment of observer 1 and 96.25% for the assessment of observer 2. The overall achievement of activities at the second meeting reached 97.5%. The teacher's ability to Determine Basic Questions in cycle I increased by 50% to 83.3% with an increase of 66.7%. Teachers' ability in Making Project Design in cycle I increased by 80% to 90% with an increase of 12.5%. Integrating digital and interactive approaches in adolescent health literacy: a comprehensive review.

Adolescent health literacy is critical for navigating the complex landscape of modern healthcare and making informed decisions that influence long-term health outcomes. This comprehensive review synthesizes current research on integrating digital tools and interactive learning approaches to enhance health literacy among adolescents. We explore the use of digital technologies, such as mobile apps and virtual reality, which cater to the preferences of this tech-savvy generation, offering personalized and accessible health information. The effectiveness of interactive learning methodologies, including simulations and role-playing, is also examined, highlighting their potential to increase engagement and retention of health-related knowledge. We address the importance of mental health literacy and the role of social media and peer education in disseminating health information effectively. Our review identifies gaps in the current literature, particularly the need for studies that consider long-term outcomes and the impact of socioeconomic and cultural factors on health literacy initiatives. We propose a multidimensional approach to health literacy education that incorporates innovative technologies and interactive methods to meet the diverse needs of adolescents in various contexts. The findings suggest that an integrated approach, including digital and critical health literacy, is essential for developing comprehensive health education programs that are both informative and engaging for adolescents.

Analyzing demand for virtual reality based adaptive learning design in engineering faculty of universitas negeri Makassar Indonesia

This research aims to analyze the needs of students regarding the application of Virtual Reality (VR) technology in learning at the Faculty of Engineering. The main focus is to understand how VR can support adaptive learning and improve students' practical ability according to individual ability. This research uses a needs analysis method involving a survey of engineering students. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires and observations to identify students' constraints, needs, and interests in VR-based learning. The collected data were then analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results show that 85% of students struggle to understand complex engineering concepts, and 90% show high interest in using VR for skills practice in a safe environment. In addition, students expected a more interactive and personalized learning approach. Important features they expected included automatic adjustment of difficulty levels and immediate feedback during practice. The findings of this study confirm the importance of integrating VR into engineering education, especially in creating an adaptive learning environment that meets individual needs. VR has the potential to improve students' understanding of concepts and practical skills, as well as to support the development of curriculum that are more relevant to the needs of modern industry.

The Effect of Using Canva-Based Media Usage on Geography Learning Outcomes of Class X Students at UNPATTI Laboratory High School

This study aims to determine the effect of using Canva digital media on the geography learning outcomes of tenth-grade students on the lithosphere material at UNPATTI Laboratory High School. This research employs an experimental method with a control group and an experimental group design. The research sample consists of 28 students divided into two groups: the control group, which used conventional learning methods, and the experimental group, which used Canva. The results of the independent t-test shown in the table indicate a significant difference between the learning outcomes of the control group and the experimental group. The Levene's Test showed an F value of 0.804 with a significance value (Sig.) of 0.378, indicating that the assumption of equal variances is acceptable. In the t-test for mean comparison, the obtained t value was -2.651 with degrees of freedom (df) of 26 for the assumption of equal variances, and 25.547 for the assumption of unequal variances. The two-sided significance value, which was less than 0.05 (0.013 and 0.014 respectively), indicates a significant difference between the two groups. The mean difference between the two groups was -5.857, showing that the learning outcomes of the control group were significantly lower than those of the experimental group. The results of the independent t-test showed a significant difference between the learning outcomes of the two groups, with the experimental group showing higher learning outcomes. These findings suggest that using Canva as a learning tool can enhance learning outcomes for tenth-grade students on lithosphere material. This study supports the literature stating that interactive technology-based learning approaches can positively impact learning outcomes. Therefore, the use of Canva in learning can be considered an effective strategy to improve educational quality.

Can Interactive PowerPoint Media Revolutionize Simple Sentence Learning in Elementary Schools?

Improving student outcomes in constructing simple English sentences is essential, particularly in elementary education, where foundational language skills are developed. In Indonesian elementary school, low performance in this area was linked to the lack of interactive learning media. This study aimed to address this gap by developing, assessing the feasibility of, and evaluating the effectiveness of interactive PowerPoint-based learning media for fourth-grade students. Using the ADDIE development model—comprising Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation—the study involved 26 students from SDN 02 Kendengsidialit Jepara, with data collected through observations, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The findings revealed a significant improvement in student performance, with the maximum score increasing from 71 in the pretest to 88.89 in the post-test. This improvement was confirmed by a paired t-test validating the media's effectiveness in enhancing learning outcomes. The analysis of pretest and post-test data further indicated moderate overall improvement underscoring the positive impact of the interactive PowerPoint-based learning approach. The study demonstrated that the interactive PowerPoint media is practical and feasible for improving students' mastery of simple English sentences. It is a valuable tool for enhancing language instruction in primary education.

Competences for the future (Future Work 4S) – Green skills and environmental education

This article describes an innovative Future Work 4S project and provides comprehensive feedback on a free Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) focused on environmental skills. Feedback was collected from two main target groups: educators (including university professors, teachers, and trainers) and student adult learners from Bulgaria, Greece, the Czech Republic, and Italy. The purpose of this survey is to provide an in-depth analysis of the feedback received on the Green Skills course and to highlight the main strengths identified by both educators and students. The findings reveal a high appreciation for the course’s interactive and experiential learning approach by both the students and the educators. Specifically, 93% of participants agreed that the course was interesting, engaging, relevant, accessible, and developmental. The course’s interactive exercises and gamification elements were particularly praised, enhancing learning and motivation. However, suggestions were made for including more practical examples and improving the uniformity of the text.

Direct Effect of Interactive Mobile Learning Approach towards Renewable Energy on Children in Malaysia

Renewable energy (RE) is getting more attention in solving the escalating global warming issue. However, the community has not been sufficiently educated about this fact. Exposure to renewable energy technology in Malaysia, especially for children, is still lacking, leading to a lack of awareness on the importance of renewable energy. Besides, children’s lack of knowledge about renewable energy and lack of interest in the field of science became problems in this study. Therefore, this study on effect of usefulness, user friendly, quality and user acceptance toward mobile application approach in introducing knowledge of renewable energy. The main software in developing the RE application consist of five components, i.e. introduction, video, game, quiz and news. Testing was carried out on selected children to evaluate children’s satisfaction in terms of using the application in learning RE. A pilot study was conducted on 30 children and the application model was validated by three experts and evaluated for its effectiveness through quantitative studies. Then, the mobile apps were tested on 77 9-year-old children with a quantitative research method to assess the level of knowledge acceptance and awareness of renewable energy. Results indicate that the children’s knowledge of RE increased with the use of this RE mobile application because RE information is delivered in the form of images, audios, and videos. More than 98% of the respondents agree that the application helps in understanding RE. The mobile application also successfully attracted the children’s interest in RE innovation and increased their awareness on the importance of RE.

Teaching and learning fraction: A systematic literature review

Fractions are one of the materials that have an important role in mathematics learning both domestically and abroad. Therefore, several articles discussing fractions published in several journals can be found in several sources, both national and international. This article aims to provide an overview of learning fractions, especially in context, activities and learning outcomes based on relevant literature. Therefore, we are interested in conducting a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of the 10 articles resulting from the Meta analysis (PRISMA) process. This research focuses on three aspects, namely: 1) Activities and contexts used in learning fraction material, 2) Learning outcomes related to the application of these activities and contexts and 3) Main findings in the research. Systematic literature review found that there were 10 contexts and activities implemented in learning fraction material. Apart from that, we also concluded that the holistic, interactive and contextual learning approach, namely PMRI, had a positive impact on students' understanding of fraction material. Providing meaningful and relevant experiences can increase student interest and build a strong foundation for further mathematical understanding. The results of this research can provide a summary of existing literature and literature to identify weaknesses or gaps for further investigation in future research related to the topic of fractions.

Enhancing Early Mathematical Learning through Multimedia Technologies: A GeoGebra-Based Approach in Preschool Education

Multimedia technologies, encompassing images, animations, and sounds, offer innovative possibilities for preschool educators, particularly in the context of presenting mathematical content and fostering children's mathematical cognition. This study is driven by a dual objective: firstly, to formulate a GeoGebra-based model for the assimilation of fundamental mathematical concepts related to numbers and sets; secondly, to execute this model in practical educational settings. The research conducted for this paper spanned five years (2018-2023) as part of a comprehensive five-year project, comprising three distinct phases, each featuring specialized workshops. A cohort of 380 preschool teachers completed GeoGebra training, which was followed by the integration of the proposed model into the educational curriculum across preschool institutions in two districts within the Republic of Serbia. Preschool educators independently implemented two activities aligned with their project themes. The study's findings emphasize the effectiveness of implementing an interactive project-based learning approach in preschool settings, where well-integrated GeoGebra applets, particularly when harmonized with activities involving physical and tangible elements, can yield positive outcomes.

Peran Media Pembelajaran Kreatif Dalam Peningkatan Keterampilan Sains Anak Usia Dini di Kelurahan Kebonsari, Kecamatan Citangkil, Kota Cilegon

The lava lamp exercise with the children of kebonsari urban village, citangkil sub-district is a fun and educational activity that involves making simple lava lamps using materials easily found at home. This study aims to explore the children's experience of the lava lamp experiment, and its impact on their understanding of basic chemistry concepts, and chemical interactions. Through a teaching approach based on simple science experiments and participatory observation, children were given the opportunity to experiment with a mixture of oil, water, and coloring agents to create interesting visual effects in their own lava lamps. The results showed that this practice not only increased children's interest in science, but also strengthened collaborative skills, and understanding of basic experimental concepts. This experiment highlights the importance of experiential and interactive learning approaches in developing childrens I nterest in science.

Integrating Technology into Educational Management: Enhancing Efficiency and Student Engagement in Modern Schools

This study explores the integration of technology into educational management to enhance efficiency and student engagement in modern schools. A qualitative literature review method was employed to gather and analyze information from various relevant sources, including academic journals, books, and research reports. The study identifies a range of technologies that can be integrated into educational management, such as learning management systems (LMS), school administration software, and digital collaboration tools. The findings indicate that the use of these technologies can significantly improve operational efficiency by automating administrative processes, reducing staff workload, and enhancing communication between teachers, students, and parents. Additionally, these technologies enable more personalized and interactive learning approaches, which can increase student engagement and motivation. The study also discusses the challenges faced in implementing technology in schools, including infrastructure issues, staff training needs, and resistance to change. The results of this study highlight that despite the obstacles, the potential benefits of integrating technology into educational management are substantial in creating a more effective and responsive learning environment. Therefore, recommendations are provided to school administrators and policymakers to support technology implementation with comprehensive and sustainable strategies. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of the role of technology in educational management and offers practical guidelines for improving efficiency and student engagement in modern schools.

Exploring Interactive Learning Approaches and Technology Integration in the Kenyan Education System

Abstract This paper examines the dynamic intersection of interactive learning approaches and technology integration within contemporary education. As technology rapidly evolves, it fundamentally reshapes pedagogical practices by introducing innovative tools and strategies that redefine the teaching and learning landscape. We investigated the pivotal roles of Extended Reality (XR) technologies, including Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR), in crafting immersive educational experiences. Additionally, interactive learning methodologies, such as game-based learning and the Learning by Asking (LBA) system, are scrutinized for their potential to engage learners and foster their skill acquisition. Furthermore, the emergence of competency-based education (CBE) models is analyzed in response to evolving educational objectives, emphasizing the cultivation of practical skills, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to lifelong learning. Nevertheless, the successful integration of these advancements encounters formidable challenges, including institutional barriers and the imperative need for comprehensive teacher training. This review illuminates the transformative potential of technology in education and underscores educators’ pivotal role in equipping learners for an increasingly dynamic and uncertain future.

Development of a Web-Based Interactive Multimedia Problem-Based Learning Approach on Algorithms and Programming Material

This research and development aims to produce interactive multimedia based on problem-based learning (PBL) using the Web to improve student learning outcomes in algorithms and programming material that is feasible, practical, and effective. This type of development research uses the ADDIE model. This research was carried out at SMK Negeri 6 Mukomuko, the material on algorithms and programming in the informatics class X Phase E. The results of the research show: (1) Expert validation test on product material in the very feasible category, namely 88.14%. (2) The Instructional Design Expert validation test is in the very feasible category, namely 95.56%. (3) The Media Expert validation test is in the very feasible category, namely 91.46%. (4) Individual trials in the very good category, namely 87.55%. (5) The small group trial was in the very feasible category, namely 89.65%. And (6) field trials in the very feasible category, namely 89.15%. The practicality test was very practical, namely 96.67%, while the practicality test results for students were 95.59% in the very practical category. The results of the experiment using PBL-based interactive multimedia in the experimental class gave an average learning outcome of 84, while students who were taught without using PBL-based interactive multimedia got an average score of 60.9. Hypothesis testing uses an independent t-test with significant results. (2-tailed) of 0.00, where the result is <0.05, it is concluded that there is a significant difference between classes taught using PBL-based interactive multimedia and classes taught without using PBL-based interactive multimedia

Analisis Kesulitan Belajar Matematika Materi Aljabar, Persamaan Linier, Perbandingan Senilai dan Tak Senilai, Bangun Datar, dan Bangun Ruang Siswa Kelas VII UPT SMPN 35 Medan

This research aims to understand and analyze the mathematics learning difficulties faced by class VII students at SMPN 35 Medan. Through a qualitative descriptive approach, this research explores the factors that cause learning difficulties and provides solutions that can be implemented. The research method involves written tests and interviews with students and teachers. The results of the research reveal that students face challenges in understanding basic concepts such as algebra, linear equations, equivalent and non-equivalent comparisons, as well as plane figures and spatial figures. Internal and external factors, such as students’ cognitive abilities and less effective teaching methods, influence their mathematics performance. This research suggests a more interactive learning approach, training for teachers, collaboration between schools and parents, and regular evaluation to improve students’ mathematical understanding and performance in the future. Thus, this research makes a significant contribution to efforts to improve the quality of mathematics learning in schools.

Peran Mahasiswa Kuliah Praktek Dan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (KPPM) di Desa Sipahutar Kec. Sipoholon

Practical Lectures and Community Service (KPPM) is a form of student service required by IAKN Tarutung, which is carried out in semester VI and lasts for three months. This program aims to improve community welfare and make the nation's life smarter through social activities that use science and technology. In Sipahutar Village, Sipoholon District, KPPM activities are carried out with the aim of increasing children's learning motivation through private tutoring programs, encouraging a spirit of mutual cooperation with the community, and holding healthy exercise with PKK mothers. The research method used involved two main stages: initial observation to identify educational problems in schools, and implementation of a free private tutoring program every Friday for 120 minutes for elementary school children. Apart from that, mutual cooperation activities and healthy exercise with PKK mothers were carried out as part of efforts to improve community welfare and health.The results of KPPM activities show that private tutoring has succeeded in increasing children's interest and motivation in learning in Sipahutar Village. An interactive learning approach adapted to school subjects helps children understand the material more easily. Mutual cooperation carried out with the community shows an increase in togetherness and citizen participation in social activities. Meanwhile, regularly held healthy exercise improves the fitness and health of PKK women, as well as strengthening social relations between them. The conclusion of this activity emphasizes the important role of students in serving society through education, health and other social activities. The KPPM program in Sipahutar Village has succeeded in creating positive change by involving all levels of society in a joint effort to improve welfare and education.
