Integrative medicine offers a wide variety of therapies that can be associated with conventional medicine, providing patients appropriate treatment with satisfactory results. Among the therapies used in integrative medicine, we have ozone therapy, which is widely used for various purposes due to its bactericidal, fungicidal and virucidal properties and the fact that it has practically no side effects with low toxicity, being used in chronic pathological conditions, in cases of dermatitis, ulcers and redness, burns and wound healing processes. The case report shows a healing process promoted by ozone therapy and associated therapies in a dog, presenting positive results. Ozone is a colorless gas with a characteristic odor and analgesic and anti-inflammatory functions, also contributing to the immune system and body oxygenation of animals. In addition, the technique offers low cost and promotes an improvement in the animal's quality of life.
