Education Management Strategies to Maximize the Effectiveness of Information and Communication Technology Integration in Teaching and Learning Processes

The integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has become a key factor in driving this change. This research aims to elucidate educational management strategies to maximize the effectiveness of integrating information and communication technology in the teaching and learning process. The research method used in this study is a literature review with a qualitative approach. Data sources are derived from Google Scholar for the period 2004-2024. This research utilizes Google Scholar as the primary source to obtain relevant, credible, original, and publicly available articles for systematic analysis. The study results indicate that in the era of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) development, the integration of ICT in education is crucial to enhance learning effectiveness. To achieve this, focused and comprehensive educational management strategies are highly important. These strategies should be based on a strong understanding of the role of ICT in learning, integration of ICT into the curriculum, training and support for educators and students, development of technological infrastructure, development of supportive policies, inclusive and sustainable approaches in ICT strategy development, as well as collaboration among educational institutions, government, industry, and the community

Power electronics anomaly detection and diagnosis with machine learning and deep learning methods: A survey

Power electronics pertains to the conception, regulation, and utilization of electronic power circuits to proficiently administer and transform electrical energy. Power electronics play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability, efficiency, and security of complex production systems. Also, increasingly important in various applications such as renewable energy systems, electric vehicles, and industrial automation. However, modern power electronics systems are vulnerable to both cyber and physical anomalies due to the integration of information and communication technologies. So far, different methods have been used to detect abnormalities. This survey provides an overview of the state-of-the-art in anomaly detection in power electronics using machine learning and deep learning methods. It highlights the potential of these techniques in addressing the growing complexity and vulnerability of power electronics systems.

Path Exploration of Digital Media Top Talent Training System in Higher Vocational Colleges Based on Virtual Simulation Experiment Teaching

The Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee emphasized in the vision goal of 2035 that it is necessary to build a country with strong education and talent. Building a top-notch talent training system and training a batch of top-notch innovative talents is an important foundation for building a country with strong education and talent. At the same time, the Ministry of Education proposed that virtual simulation experiment teaching is an important content of higher education information construction, and is the product of the deep integration of disciplines and information technology. The purpose of virtual simulation experiment teaching is to improve the innovative spirit and practical skills of college students in an all-round way and to share high-quality experimental teaching resources as the core. يهدف البحث إلى : التعرف على درجة حدة معوقات توظيف تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات في التعليم الجامعي من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس .، والكشف فيما إذا كان هناك اختلاف في آراء اعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة تعز في هذه المعوقات تعزى لمتغير ، التخصص ،والدرجة العلمية .وقد اشتمل البحث على المحاور التالية – المقدمة ، مصطلحات الدراسة وتعريفاتها الإجرائية –الدراسات السابقة –إجراءات الدراسة –عرض نتائج الدراسة ومناقشتها . الخاتمة – وقد توصل الباحث الى مجموعة من النتائج أهمها : أظهرت النتائج أن جميع العبارات التي تضمنتها أداة الدراسة تعد معوقات تواجه أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة تعز ، تحول دون توظيف تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات في التعليم الجامعي مما يستدعي سرعة معالجتها لضمان جودة التعليم الجامعي .

Application of integrative information technology in the evaluation processes of research institutions

The article proposes a solution to the scientific-applied problem of automating decision support regarding the review of criteria and indicators used in the evaluation of state-supported scientific institutions. This topic is highly relevant for scientific and technical activities both in the conditions of martial law and during the restoration of the country in peacetime. To address this issue, an information technology for decision support by experts is proposed based on an integrative methodology that involves data structuring, support for expert judgments, and visualization of decision-making processes using methods such as approval voting, hierarchy analysis, analytical networks, computer ontologies, and elements of graph theory. A concise description of the integrative methodology and the cognitive process of solving unstructured multi-criteria problems supported by this methodology is provided. The functionality of the developed software toolkit is discussed using an illustrative example related to determining the criteria base for the evaluation of scientific institutions. Elements of the ontological evaluation framework, a hierarchical model for the decision-making task of selecting quantitative assessment alternatives, and the results of experts determining criteria weights for evaluating alternatives and conducting pairwise comparisons of alternatives are presented. The conducted research indicates that the developed methodology and software tools, which have previously been tested in law enforcement agencies, can also be applied in other structures of government administration. The obtained results, aimed at enhancing the efficiency of evaluating scientific institutions, can be utilized to support decision-making in various aspects of managing scientific and technical activities.

Multi-disciplinary staff perspectives and consensus on e-Learning and mHealth for Health Sciences curricula

ABSTRACT Health systems face complex challenges – even more so in resource-constrained contexts such as South Africa. Alignment of local educational systems with national development goals is needed to strengthen health systems. The further disruption of COVID-19 to educational and health systems underscores the necessity to adapt our curricula and practices. Integration of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), such as e-Learning and mobile health (mHealth) applications integrated with learning management systems, or virtual learning environments, offer a sustainable strategy for the enhancement of Health Science student training, graduate competency development and delivery of quality patient care. Uptake, or not, of e-Learning and mHealth at several South African universities was explored through a survey with staff (n = 65) from across the Health Sciences. Diverse perceptions, experiences and recommendations were found, including the prevalence and dis/advantages of e-Learning and mHealth in the Health Sciences. The perceived usefulness of specific features of each were highlighted. In closing, a multi-modal model of epistemology, axiology and ontology in healthcare technology, digital health and medical education – including content, skills, technology development and challenges/constraints – is presented.

Advantages and Limitations of Information Technology in Preschool Education Teaching

With the progress of society and economic development, the innovation of information technology is rapidly changing our way of life and work. This change not only affects adults but also deeply influences our children, especially those in the early stages of education. The application of information technology in preschool education can greatly enrich educational content and provide diverse teaching methods. Through multimedia forms such as animations, music, and videos, teachers can vividly impart knowledge to young children and stimulate their interest in learning. At the same time, information technology can help teachers better understand each child, know their learning needs and individual characteristics, and thus formulate more suitable teaching plans for their growth. However, in practical application, the integration of information technology and preschool education also faces some challenges. Therefore, teachers should clarify the positioning of information technology as an auxiliary tool that cannot replace traditional educational methods. While using information technology, teachers should strengthen interaction with young children and pay attention to their emotional needs.

Social responsibility, information technology, and high-quality development of mining enterprise using structural equation modeling (SEM)

In the post-epidemic era, the geopolitical landscape is poised to impact global dynamics, with mineral supply emerging as a potential bottleneck for China's economic growth. Addressing this challenge requires Chinese mining enterprises to align mineral resources with domestic demand while bolstering their global influence. Despite this imperative, outdated technology, safety lapses, and inadequate measures have led to frequent mining accidents. This study explores the intricate relationship between corporate social responsibility (CSR) and information technology (IT) in the mining industry's high-quality development. Employing literature analysis, qualitative and quantitative methods, and structural equation modeling (SEM), we analyze data from 6334 mining companies listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (2011–2018). Findings emphasize the substantial impact of both CSR and IT on high-quality development. While CSR fosters industry development, IT integration enhances social responsibility fulfillment, propelling high-quality development. As China shifts to high-quality development, this research highlights the pivotal role of CSR, surpassing IT, in driving the mining sector's evolution. These insights contribute to understanding the intricate dynamics between social responsibility and high-quality development, offering innovative perspectives for governance and technological advancement in the mining sector.

BDPM: A secure batch dynamic password management scheme in industrial internet environments

The rapid development of Industrial Internet has promoted the deep integration of Information Technology (IT) and Industrial Control (IC), so that network attacks have gradually invaded IC zone. Password security is the first line of defense to ensure the security of IC devices. In this paper, we propose a secure Batch Dynamic Password Management (BDPM) scheme in Industrial Internet environments. Aiming to automatically configure strong passwords for IC devices, our scheme can achieve a batch password generation algorithm based on SM3 Cryptographic Hash Algorithm, which encrypts the input string and then intercepts and replaces the hash value to ensure the uniqueness and crack resistance of passwords. Moreover, we continuously monitor the status of vulnerable IT devices through a zero trust anomaly monitoring mechanism and introduce a password updating mechanism for relevant IC devices, which is triggered by sending an alarm to IC devices that have interaction rights with the compromised IT device. Subsequently, we construct a resilient blockchain called PS_chain and execute two different password storage schemes based on the threshold of password updates to ensure storage security and reduce the load on block storage. The security analysis shows that our scheme can defend against the threat model and can comprehensively improve the security of IC device passwords. The simulation results show that our scheme can enhance the strength of IC device passwords while securely storing IC device passwords in a low-load manner.

Bibliometric and Visual Insights Into Higher Education Informatization

Higher education informatization (HEI) is an interdisciplinary field that examines the use and integration of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in higher education. This paper provides a bibliometric and visual analysis of the research trends, patterns, and topics in this field. Using the Web of Science database, the authors selected and analyzed 199 SCI and SSCI papers on HEI published from 2000 to 2023 by VOSviewer and CiteSpace software. The results indicate that the publication volume of HEI research has grown significantly in recent years. The author network shows the collaboration and contribution of different researchers and institutions, while the journal network reveals the multidisciplinary nature and scope of the field. The keyword network and the burst keyword analysis identify the main research themes and the emerging hot topics in HEI. The co-citation network of sources illustrates the theoretical and methodological foundations and influences of the field. The paper concludes with some implications and suggestions for future HEI research.

THE ISSUE STATUS OF CREATING ELECTRONIC HERBARIUM IN KAZAKHSTAN

Modern science is dynamically developing, the integration of information technology into other scientific fields is observed everywhere. These innovations have touched the herbarium field as well. Digital technologies open new directions for the work of Herbaria. The article shows the relevance of digitisation of botanical collections and the creation of a database of electronic herbarium. The review of Kazakhstan institutions carrying out activities in this direction is given. The main problems are outlined, successful solution of which will allow to succeed in creating a virtual herbarium in the country.

THE ROLE OF SMART CITY POLICY IN IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN SERANG CITY BANTEN

This research examines the implementation of smart city policy in Serang City, Banten Province, Indonesia, in the context of local government reform from a centralised to a decentralised system. The main objective is to analyse how smart city policy can improve peoples welfare through integrating information technology in e-government, e-budgeting, e-planning, environmental management, and urban planning. The methodology used is a descriptive analysis design with a qualitative approach involving direct data collection in the field and observation of social interactions. The results show that the effectiveness of smart city policy implementation in Serang City is influenced by five main dimensions: environmental conditions, inter-organizational relationships, available resources, characteristics of implementing agencies, and the quality of public services. These factors interact with each other to support or hinder the achievement of policy objectives. This study concludes that the success of smart city policies depends on technology and the ability to manage resources, inter-organizational coordination, and human resource quality development. Continuous evaluation and adjustment of policies and practices are needed to create sustainable and inclusive solutions to improve peoples quality of life. Evolution of Islamic Education Teachers' Competence in Indonesia

This research aims to outline a study that examines the historical development, current status, and future direction of Islamic education teacher competency in the Indonesian context. Using a qualitative method approach from interviews with educators, policymakers, and academics. This report highlights the role of government initiatives and Islamic education institutions in improving teacher competency, focusing on areas such as pedagogical skills, subject matter expertise, and the integration of information and communications technology (ICT) in teaching. The results of the research show that teachers must reflect uswah alhasanah, teachers do good deeds, have an educational orientation to worship for Allah, have a clear mind in daily life, have a pure heart, master in-depth religious knowledge (ulumuddiniyah), have the ability to educate intellectually (tarbiatul aqliyah), have the ability to educate the heart (tarbiyatul qulubiyah), have the ability to educate character (tarbiyatul khulukiyah), have the ability to educate physically (tarbiyatul jismiyah) and have the ability to educate socially (tarbiyatul ijtimaiyah). These findings indicate that although significant progress has been made in improving the competency of Islamic education teachers in Indonesia, continued efforts are needed to address emerging challenges and to ensure that teachers are equipped to provide high-quality, relevant, and inclusive education. This research contributes to the broader discourse regarding teacher competency in Islamic education, offering relevant insights for educators, policymakers, scholars, and stakeholders involved in religious education globally.

Designing enterprise architecture for a global company

This case is about applying the Enterprise Architecture (EA) approach to align Information Technology to the business goals of a global company. ENMARK, the company has presence in four continents and many countries with multiple legal entities. The company has major product divisions that operate independently around the globe. As a result, there are multiple ERPs and other applications having heavy cost implications. There is a need to use the Enterprise Architecture (EA) approach to understand the overall businesses and remove redundancy across IT. The case can be used to understand how EA helps to bring about integration of Strategy, Business and Information Technology, as well as using the EA approach to develop business, data and application architecture for the global company.

CIPP, as a decision-oriented new model of curriculum evaluation, is suitable for the evaluation needs of information-based physical education courses. The evaluation of teaching in information-based physical education courses based on the CIPP model is divided into four categories: context evaluation, input evaluation, process evaluation, and product evaluation. This study explores the evaluation system of information-based physical education courses to fully leverage the guiding function of course evaluation, aiming to better optimize the construction of information-based physical education courses and improve the quality of teaching in these courses.
