Conceptualization of the expansion of the Authority of the Supreme Court as a Dispute Settlement Institution for Authority of State Institutions outside the Constitution

The authority to form state institutions outside the constitution, especially Non-Ministry Government Institutions (LPNK) rests with the President based on Article 4 paragraph (1) of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. The formation of these state institutions is not limited as the regulation on the number of state ministries which limits the number of ministries to 34 (thirty four). This can create the potential for overlapping authorities and authority disputes between state institutions outside the constitution so that it requires a state institution that can resolve them. Based on this, this study will examine related 1) how to reconstruct the President's authority in forming state institutions outside the constitution; and 2) how to conceptualize the extension of the authority of the Supreme Court as a dispute resolution institution for the authority of state institutions outside the constitution. This study uses a normative juridical method with a statutory approach. The results of the study indicate that the President has the authority to form state institutions outside the constitution through his authority in submitting Draft Laws, forming Government Regulations in Lieu of Laws, and forming Presidential Regulations, in which there are no restrictions. Arrangements for the formation of state institutions outside the constitution must be limited as state ministries in Article 15 of the Law on State Ministries. Then the concept of extending the authority of the Supreme Court as an institution for resolving disputes over the authority of state institutions outside the constitution can be taken from the granting of authority through attribution through Article 24A paragraph (1) of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. The position of the Supreme Court as a constitutional organ and institution of judicial power is independent from other powers so that it has the potential to become an institution for resolving disputes over the authority of state institutions outside the constitution

Eksistensi Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum dalam Pencegahan Praktik Politik Uang pada Pilkada 2020 di Kabupaten Klaten

This study aims to determine the roles, find out obstacles, and explicate the efforts of the Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) in preventing the practice of money politics during the 2020 Regional Elections in the Klaten Regency. This research is empirical legal research with direct field research. Its primary data source is data from interviews with the Bawaslu of Klaten Regency. The results of this study indicate that Bawaslu as a state institution has a duty to carry out supervision, including preventing violations in Regional Elections. The role of the Klaten Regency Bawaslu in preventing violations of money politics practices include providing socialization to all elements of society and forming an Anti-Money Politics Village and a Monitoring Village. In its supervision, the Klaten Regency Bawaslu experienced obstacles such as a lack of human resources, limited budget, and low community participation in supervision. The community itself is still afraid to report if they find violations. Therefore, to overcome these obstacles, Klaten Regency Bawaslu utilize social media to facilitate the socialization to the public, invite the public, candidates, and campaign teams to reject all kinds of money politics practices, and form Anti-Money Politics Villages and Monitoring Villages.

Fungsi Pengawasan Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah dalam Penyelenggaraan Pemerintahan Daerah di Indonesia

The Regional People's Representative Council which is the state institution that has undergone the most changes. This research aims to determine and analyze the Implementation of the Supervisory Function of the Regional People's Representative Council in the Implementation of Regional Government in Indonesia. This type of research is normative juridical. The results of the research are the supervisory function carried out by the Regional People's Representative Council towards the Regional Government in order to realize good governance so that it can achieve its goals. The Regional Representative Council must be able to correctly interpret the function and objectives of supervision, so that it can become an effective check & balance mechanism, optimize supervision so that it can have a positive influence as expected on the management of regional government, prepare the supervisory agenda for the Representative Council Regional People, Formulating standards, systems and standard procedures for supervision of the Regional People's Representative Council, as well as involving community participation in the supervision process. For this reason, it is recommended that there is a need for community participation in carrying out supervision so that the implementation of regional government policies can run well and it is necessary to develop supervision guidelines by the Regional People's Representative Council so that the supervision function can run more focused.

BIOCHEMICAL INDICATORS OF GASTRIC JUICE IN INCOMPETENCE OF THE PHYSIOLOGICAL GASTRIC CARDIA

Aim. This study aimed to evaluate the biochemical characteristics of gastric juice in cases incompetence of the physiological cardia (IPC) at the gastroesophageal junction. Methods. Gastric juice samples were collected from 42 patients diagnosed with hiatal hernia (HH) at the State Institution "Institute of Gastroenterology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine". Patients were classified into type I (sliding) HH (n=26) and type II (paraesophageal) HH (n=16), with a control group of healthy volunteers (n=9). Results. Analysis included pH, pepsin concentration, bile acids, total calcium and stable metabolites of nitric oxide (NOx). In type I HH, gastric juice showed increased pH (3.73±0.49) and elevated pepsin concentration (1.33±0.22 mg/ml) compared to controls (p<0.01 and P<0.05 respectively), indicating hypoacidity and hyperfunction of chief cells. Type II HH exhibited pH levels (2.34±0.72) similar to controls and no significant difference in pepsin concentration. NOx levels in type I HH were lower (P<0.05) compared to controls, suggesting reduced NOergic system activity. Calcium concentration in gastric juice did not significantly differ between groups. Conclusions. These findings suggest that type I HH is associated with disturbances in gastric secretion regulation, possibly unrelated to duodenogastric reflux. Further investigation is warranted to elucidate the underlying pathophysiological mechanisms.

Physical Activity Levels of Individuals Employed in the Sports Directorate

The aim of this study is to examine the physical activity levels of civil servants employed in a sports-related state institution, with a focus on individual factors and their attitudes toward physical exercise. The research cohort comprised 160 individuals, randomly selected from employees working in the sports directorate, consisting of 79 women and 81 men. Data collection was conducted through an online questionnaire encompassing a personal information form and the International Physical Activity Questionnaire-Short Form. Descriptive statistics and Chi-square analyses were employed for data analysis, supplemented by calculations of Cohen's d effect sizes to assess the relationship between variables. Results from the analysis revealed that 19.40% of sports directorate employees were categorized as inactive, 20.60% as minimally active, and 60.0% as sufficiently active. Applying a democratic evidence-based decision-making model: a case illustration of policy development at an Arab University

ABSTRACT This case study explores the potential for democratic governance in state-regulated Arab higher education systems focusing on institutional committee members’ adoption of deliberative, empowered and participatory evidence-based decision-making practices while engaged in university policy development. Amidst a landscape characterised by the forces of globalisation and internationalisation, coupled with an intensifying focus on quality assurance and accreditation that increasingly shape governance structures, this research examines decision-making at the practical micro-level within an Arab State institution. This university, mirroring others in the Gulf Cooperation Council region, functions within a largely centralised political system where government bodies exert substantial influence. By presenting an illustrative case of grassroots democratic evidence-based decision-making during committee members’ formulation of a new institution-wide policy, this study aims to partially bridge the conceptual and applied research void. It delves into the opportunities and challenges of practicing shared, evidence-based decision-making in multiplex universities operating within characteristically state-regulated, management-centric political contexts.

The quality of human life is an estimated category of human life that generically characterizes the parameters of all components of his life: life potential, life activity and living conditions. The survey we conducted at the stage of the ascertaining experiment included a series of questionnaires, interviews and documentation studies. Analysis of students' opinions on improving the physical culture and wellness space showed that most students of all universities believe that it is necessary to form a powerful, active physical culture and wellness space at the university As a result of analyzing the data of a questionnaire survey of students of the Kazan State Institute of Culture, certain conclusions can be drawn that modern students are responsible for their health, but not many they are clearly aware of the binding of the state of physical health to the quality of their life.

Primary disablement of the adult population due to schizophrenia: structure, medical and social aspects

Substantiation. The article presents the structure and medical and social aspects of the primary disablement of the adult population of the Altai Region due to schizophrenia for the period from 2015 to 2019. Purpose of the study: to investigate the structure of primary disablement of the adult population of the Altai Region due to schizophrenia (by sex, age, place of residence, the main types, and degree of impairment of body functions and life limitations) and present the medical and social characteristics of patients first recognized as disabled. Material and methods. During the study, statistical data of the Federal State Institution «Main Bureau of Medical and Social Expert Examination for the Altai Region» of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation were used. The material of the study included reporting forms No. 7‑sobes (n=5), protocols for conducting medical and social expert examination in the federal state institution of medical and social expert examination (n=745), and forms No. 088 / u of medical organizations (n=745). The research period was 2015‑2019. Research methods: documentary, data copying, statistical, and analytical methods. Results. The study has indicated that in the structure of primary disablement of the adult population of the Altai Region due to schizophrenia, urban residents predominate, while men prevail in the gender category. More than 90.0 % of the patients first recognized as disabled due to schizophrenia are citizens of working age. The vast majority of the patients did not work at the time of examination, while having a professional education. More than half of the patients,mostly men, were not married, had no children, and lived with their parents. In more than 90.0 % of the patients, the paranoid type of schizophrenia led to disability, and the main maladapting syndrome involved emotional and volitional disorders. More than 60.0 % of the patients had persistent moderate impairment of body functions; life limitations were more frequently detected in the following categories: the ability to work, the ability to communicate, and the ability to control one»s behavior. More often, patients with schizophrenia obtained the third group of disability during the initial examination. Conclusion. The results of the study can be a scientific and practical basis for planning and effective implementation of comprehensive rehabilitation of disabled patients with this pathology.

Preservation of the Documentary Heritage for the Socio-Economic Development of the Region: the Experience of the Central Library of RF Constituent Entity and the University of Culture

The article is devoted to the study of the documentary heritage, its role in the socio-economic development of the region. The author highlighted the basic requirements of regulations in preserving the documentary heritage in the region. The purpose of the article is to show the library and university capabilities in implementing tasks to preserve and promote cultural heritage for the further development of the territory on the basis of the results of the conducted research.Using the example of the Kemerovo region (Kuzbass), the main parameters of the documentary heritage usage for socio-economic development of the region are determined: ensuring preservation of the documentary heritage; providing access to information; information support for all aspects of regional development; creating digital content of memory institutions (libraries, museums, archives); promoting the documentary heritage; putting into scientific circulation new components of the documentary heritage; research activities; integration of memory institutions for to preserve cultural heritage. The article presents the description of the digital documentary heritage of Kuzbass in the central library (V. D. Fedorov State Scientific Library of Kuzbass). The main types of work of the Kemerovo State Institute of Culture (KemSIC) in preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of Kuzbass are outlined.The article also considers the integration of the activities of the central library with the culture university as one of the key factors in increasing the efficiency of work in this direction. It is emphasized that cooperation between libraries and other institutions and organizations, including authorities and local self-government allows to work out and implement joint projects aimed at developing the region and increasing its level of sustainability. It is noted that the central libraries of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and the Universities of Culture are key participants in the preservation and development of the cultural heritage of the region.The main conclusion of the study: close integration of the library and the university makes it possible to solve complex problems of preserving and promoting the documentary heritage of the region.

Анализ кератотопографических и биомеханических показателей роговицы c оценкой влияния результатов диагностики на тактику ведения пациента с миопической рефракцией

Abstract Analysis of keratopographic and biomechanical corneal indicators with evaluation of the impact of diagnostic results on myopic refraction patient management tactics D.D. Sibakin, V.A. Breev, E.G. Solodkova S. Fyodorov Eye Microsurgery Federal State Institution, Volgograd Branch, Volgograd, Russian Federation Purpose. To analyse keratopographic and biomechanical corneal indicators with the diagnostic results assessment of the influence on the treatment tactics of myopic refraction patient. Material and methods. Keratotopographic and biomechanical parameters of the cornea in a patient with mild myopia were evaluated. Results. The Belin/Ambrosio (Enchanced Ectasia Display) – BAD keratoconus screening program was used on Pentacam AXL, which did not reveal corneal pathology. According to the results of CBI (Corvis biomechanical index) on Corvis ST (Oculus, Germany) (OD – 0.61, OS – 0.48), that was indicating poor corneal biomechanical properties and a high risk of keratectasia development. Conclusion. Ophthalmic examination, using The Corvis ST biomechanical measurements, makes possible to reveal with greater sensitivity subclinical signs of a keratectatic process at the pre-clinical stage of development. Подходы к комбинированной хирургии катаракты и глаукомы в условиях слабости связочного аппарата хрусталика

Purpose. To demonstrate the effectiveness of single-step phacoemulsification of cataracts and antiglaucoma surgery in conditions of weakness of the zonular apparatus. Methods. Patient N., 67 years old, came to S. Fyodorov Eye Microsurgery Federal State Institution (Moscow) with complaints of decreased vision, increased intraocular pressure (IOP), and narrowing of the fields of view of the right eye. The diagnoses: OD Primary open-angle glaucoma 3v, Subluxation of the lens grade 1 OS Primary open-angle glaucoma 1a, OU Complicated cataract, Pseudoexfoliation syndrome. Carried out: autorefractokeratometry, visual acuity testing, computerized perimetry, biomicroscopy, gonioscopy, pneumotonometry, tonometry according to Maklakov, optical biometry. Considering the weakness of the lens zonules, the method of fixation of the intraocular lens (IOL) by optic capture technique was used. Results. Examination and evaluation one week post-operation: Visus 0.6 unc, IOP (pneumotonometry) 11 mmHg without hypotensive therapy; biomicroscopy: a calm eye with a well-expressed filtration bleb at the 12 o’clock position, well-adapted sutures, a transparent cornea of average depth, clear aqueous humor, moderate iris atrophy, round 3 mm pupil with pseudophakia at the pupil’s edge, IOL located in the capsular bag with haptics in the iridociliary groove, stable positioning. Fundus examination shows a pale optic nerve head, excavated with 0.8 cup-to-disc ratio, well-defined borders, narrowed vessels. Macular region appears normal. Conclusion. Combined cataract and glaucoma surgery in a patient with subluxated crystalline lens using the «optic capture» technique and Non-penetrating Glaucoma Surgery allowed preserving the correct and stable position of the IOL with normalization of intraocular pressure without the need for hypotensive therapy during a 1-year follow-up period. Tактика хирургического лечения пациента с непроникающей травмой роговицы после ранее перенесенной операции ФемтоЛАЗИК

Abstract Tactics of surgical treatment of a patient with non-penetrating corneal trauma after previous FemtoLASIK V.A. Breev, E.G. Solodkova, D.D. Sibakin S. Fyodorov Eye Microsurgery Federal State Institution, Volgograd Branch, Volgograd, Russian Federation Purpose. To present the tactics of surgical treatment of the patient with non-penetrating corneal trauma after previously undergone FemtoLasik. Methods. The patient, operated by FemtoLASIK for middle degree myopia, had non-penetrating corneal trauma of the right eye. When applying to the Clinic of Volgograd branch he underwent corneal flap repositioning with removal of multiple corneal foreign bodies. Before and after the operation the patient underwent standard ophthalmologic examination. Results. According to the examination data, the uncorrected visual acuity of the right eye was reduced to 0.3 due to dislocation and linear defect of the corneal flap, multiple corneal foreign bodies, corneal opacity and mixed astigmatism. In 1 month after the surgical treatment there was noted restoration of transparency, correct position and integrity of the corneal flap, absence of corneal foreign bodies and increase of uncorrected visual acuity of the right eye up to 0.5. Conclusion. The correct sequence of surgical actions after trauma against the background of previously performed FemtolASIK provides qualitative corneal flap repositioning and restoration of visual functions. «LIBRARY PROFESSION STUDIES» IN THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS

The article characterizes the significant aspects of the academic disci-pline «Library Profession Studies» studied at East Siberian state institute of culture by the graduate students majoring in 51.04.06 «Library and Infor-mation Activities», profile «Theory and Methodology of Library and Pedagog-ical Activities». The emphasis is made on theoretical aspects, problems of pro-fessionalism of the library personnel, features of course application of the li-brary specialist’s professiogram and psychogram, library mythology, librarians’ professional self-awareness and the role of the specialist’s personality in the library profession.

Organizational Justice and Faculty Engagement in State Universities and Colleges as Related to Productivity

This survey-correlational research aimed to determine the productivity of faculty in state colleges and universities (SUC’s) as related to organizational justice and engagement. The independent variables were the organizational justice and faculty engagement, while productivity was the dependent variable. The antecedent variables were age, gender, length of service, and educational background. Two hundred forty (240) randomly selected faculty in a state institution of higher learning in Iloilo were the participants of the study, and two adopted, validated, and pilot tested data-gathering instruments were used – a Questionnaire to Measure Organizational Justice by Usmani and Jamal (2013) and an Employee Engagement Survey by Koskinen, (2015). To measure the faculty productivity, the Individual Performance Commitment and Review (IPCR) for SUC’s was utilized. Frequency count, percentage analysis, rank, mean, and standard deviation were employed as descriptive statistics while the one-way ANOVA and Pearson’s r were employed as inferential statistics. The .05 alpha level was used as the criterion for the acceptance or rejection of the null hypothesis. All statistical computations were processed through the Statistical Package of the Social Sciences (SPSS) software. Study results revealed that generally, the faculty assessed the SUC’s prevailing “high” organizational justice and work engagement, but “very high” work productivity. The faculty did not differ significantly in their assessment of the prevailing organizational justice and work engagement when they were classified according to age, sex, length of service, and educational background, yet significant differences were noted in their assessment of the work productivity when they were classified according to length of service and educational background. No significant differences were noted in the productivity of the faculty classified according to age and gender. A positive and significant relationship existed between faculty’s assessment of organizational justice in SUC’s and their work engagement, but significant relationship existed between their assessment of organizational justice in SUC’s and work productivity and between faculty engagement and work productivity. This was validated by three experts who assessed that the topics were relevant, applicable, and properly sequenced in terms of the applicability of organizational justice and faculty engagement, and this development plan could be used for the improvement of their work productivity.

The role of endoscopic ultrasound in assessment of physiological cardia insufficiency during diagnosis of hiatal hernia

Background. The aim of the study: to determine the role of endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) in assessing the failure of the physiological cardia in the diagnosis of hiatal hernias (HH). Materials and methods. At the Department of Digestive Surgery of the State Institution “Institute of Gastroenterology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine” in 2023, we have performed surgical treatment of 33 patients with HH: axial HH were diagnosed in 21 (63.6 %) cases (I type), paraesophageal HH — in 12 (36.4 %) patients (II type) (ICD-10 code is K44). Control group included 20 practically healthy people. Results. All patients underwent an X-ray and endoscopic examination of the esophagus, stomach, duodenum, and EUS. All 33 (100.0 %) patients underwent an X-ray to confirm the diagnosis and an endoscopic examination to detect changes in the esophageal mucosa. EUS was performed in 31 (93.9 %) patients. The thickness of the esophageal wall was assessed using EUS, which made it possible to determine the state of the structures of the phy­siological cardia in HH: the displacement of part of the stomach above the diaphragm, location of the gastroesophageal junction relative to the legs of the diaphragm and relative to each other; the distance between the legs of the diaphragm (area of the HH) and their length; the cross-sectional area of the HH (hernial sac). The data obtained during EUS influenced the choice of the method for surgical correction of the physiological cardia with HH. Conclusions. Thus, with HH, EUS makes it possible to evaluate pathological changes of the main structures in the failure of the physiological cardia, to improve diagnosis for the types of HH, the location of the gastroesophageal junction, with determination of dimensions of the esophageal hiatus, the distance between the legs of the physiological cardia, localization and cross-section of the hernial sac, which influenced the choice of the surgery for physiological cardia in HH.

IMPLEMENTATION OF PATIENT-CENTERED MEDICAL CARE MODEL: ANALYSIS OF THE ATTITUDES OF PATIENTS WITH CORONARY ARTERY DISEASE AND COMORBIDITIES

The aim: to evaluate the attitude of patients with coronary artery disease and comorbidities to the implementation of patient-centered care in clinical practice.
 Materials and methods. We carried out questionnaire survey of two groups of patients with coronary artery disease and comorbidities. The first one consisted of 30 patients with coronary artery disease aged 61-75 (mean age 67,2±5,1 years) who were followed by the cardiologist in the therapeutic department of the State Institution of Sciences “Research and Practical Center of Preventive and Clinical Medicine” State Administrative Department. The second one – 33 military personnel with coronary artery disease aged 50-58 years (mean age 53,2±2,4 years) who came for a scheduled appointment with a general practitioner at the Outpatient Care Clinic of the National military medical clinical center “GVKG”. Methods: system analysis, questionnaire survey, statistical.
 Results. According to patient`s opinion cardiologists give much more information about pharmacological treatment, including side effects of medications used (83,3±6,8% in the Ist group vs 33,3±8,2% in the 2nd group, p<0,05) and actions to increase patients` compliance (83,3±6,8% in the Ist group vs 42,4± 8,6% in the 2nd group, p<0,05). This is related to the peculiarities of management of patients with chronic diseases in the State Institution of Science “Research and Practical Center of Preventive and Clinical Medicine” State Administrative Department, in particular, with the follow-up of high-risk cardiac patients, including scheduled appointments and monitoring of patient`s clinical conditions by a cardiologist. Emotional support was given to 93,3±4,6% of patients in the Ist group and to 18,2±6,7% of patients in the 2nd group (p<0,05). 36,7±8,8% of patients in the Ist group and 84,8±6,3% in the 2nd group ( p<0,05) indicated, that they need more information about their treatment plan and involvement in clinical decision-making. 93,3±4,6% of patients in the Ist group and 4,8±6,3 % in the 2nd group were ready to perform self-monitoring of their health conditions and participate in the decision-making process regarding their treatment.
 Conclusions. Our survey demonstrated, that the majority of interviewed patients with coronary artery disease and comorbidities are ready to use basic principles of patient-centered care. The necessity to improve patient`s information and education about clinical decision-making and physician`s practical skills in the field of implementation of patient-centered care was substantiated.

The dominant pests (Coleoptera) of cereal crops, and population forecast for this

Goal. Create a forecast of the development of harmful organisms in cereal crops, to determine the economic feasibility of applying plant protection measures.
 Methods. Analysis of the phytosanitary state of cereal crops in Ukraine, where the main attention is paid to the dominant pest species. Analysis of the areas of distribution of these pests, population dynamics, their phenology and the state of populations in the context of natural and climatic zones (Steppe, Forest-steppe and Polissya). To assess the phytosanitary state of crops, and its dynamic changes, the following are used: — the results of phytosanitary monitoring of crops (according to generally accepted methods), which were carried out directly by the staff of the forecast laboratory of the Institute of Plant Protection of NAAS; — current reports of researchers from other laboratories of the Institute of Plant Protection of NAAS from the places of business trips; — materials of decadal reports of regional plant protection stations, as well as signaling and forecasting points; — information on the phytosanitary situation from regional state research stations and institutes of NAAS.
 Results. A study of the phytosanitary state of cereal crops on the territory of Ukraine was carried out, the dominant species of pests were identified, materials were prepared regarding the peculiarities of the phytosanitary state in the conditions of the year, and a long-term (annual) forecast of the development of pests for the next year was drawn up, based on the appropriate analysis of the data obtained.
 Conclusions. In recent years, climate change in Ukraine has manifested itself through an increase in the average annual temperature, and an increase in the sum of effective temperatures. A decrease in the zone of sufficient soil moisture was noted, its line shifted to the north. Under the influence of abiotic factors, pests constantly change the boundaries of their habitat and zones of damage, therefore reliable protection of crops is impossible without constant monitoring, constant clarification of the species composition of phytophages, and phytosanitary forecast. Improved methodological approaches for assessing the phytosanitary state of acrocyanoses and the promptness of obtaining relevant data will allow agricultural producers to make timely decisions on the economic feasibility of using certain plant protection products.

Digitalizing Cyber Security for Data Management in Higher Education Implication for Educational Management in Nigeria

This study was to determine the digitalizing cyber security for data management in higher education: Implication for Educational Management in Nigeria. Two research questions and hypotheses were formulated to guide the study. The population of this study comprises 4000 students from four tertiary instructions in Cross River State. The sampling technique employed by the researcher in the selection of the sample was the simple random sampling technique. The sample size selected for this study was 400 students in selected schools which represents 10 percent of the accessible population comprising of 200 males and 200 females. The questionnaire was designed to measure the two sub-independent variables. The reliability of the instrument was 0.85 reliability coefficient. Mean and standard deviation were used to answer the request questions. While Simple linear regression analysis statistical tool was used to test the null hypotheses that were formulated to guild the study at 0.05 level of significance. The findings of the study show that the educators’ lack of knowledge and expertise regarding cyberspace in tertiary institution significantly influence cyber security knowledge in data management in tertiary institution and Cyber security knowledge in data management in tertiary institution significantly reduces cyber-bully, online fraud, racial abuse, pornography and gambling among educators and students in tertiary institution in Cross River State, Nigeria. Based on the conclusion, it was recommended that tertiary institution management should formulate educational policies and curriculum the will help in addressing problems of cybercrime in schools. And students and educators should learn Cyberspace knowledge since it is very important in our day to day activities.

A socio-psychological portrait of a pathological gambler as a prerequisite for preventing gambling addiction (gambling disorder)

Gambling always carries risks for the player's mental health, as it can provoke the development of gaming addiction. A direct connection between the socio-psychological portrait of the player, his gaming behavior, and the risks of game addiction can be traced. The purpose of the work is to form a socio-psychological portrait of a "pathological" gambler. The work was performed based on the State Institution "Institute of Forensic Psychiatry of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". Methods used: CAWI (Computer Assisted Web Interviewing) questionnaires in online gambling establishments; CAPI (Computer Assisted Per­sonal Interviews - server event tracking method) in land-based casinos (more than 9,000 people were inter­viewed); statis­tical (for selection and analysis of materials). A questionnaire specially developed by the authors with a point evaluation of the results (from 71 to 90 points) allows us to conclude that the interviewee is a pathological gamb­ler. For the first time in Ukraine, the survey was conducted exclusively among gamblers at gambling establishments. The obtained results made it possible to form a statistically reliable р<0.05 socio-psychological portrait of a pathological gambler, mostly men (87.7%) aged 25-35 years (52.4%) with secondary special (43.4%) or higher education (37.7%). In this group, 94% of people declared their inability to resist the desire to play, and 83.0% thought about stealing money to continue. Of pathological gamblers, 85.0% consider gaming as a means of earning money. All interviewed pathological gamers have experienced continuous gaming for more than 5 hours; 79.2% play almost every day. Such players in 95.0% noticed that they lost more money or spent more time than they planned, 96.0% felt culpable for the game, and 95.0% started the day with a game. Based on this portrait, the authors derived quantitative criteria that the organizer of gambling games can use to prevent gambling addiction among players within the framework of the application of the principles of responsible gaming.
