In establishing the 6th Basic Plan for Science and Technology (2021.4.1-2026.3.31), Japan recognized the need for innovation in converging humanities and social sciences with science technology and revised the “Basic Act on Science and Technology” to the “Basic Act on Science and Technology and Innovation” and the “R&D Power Enhancement Act” to the “Act on Promotion of Science and Technology and Innovation Creation”. In its basic plan and important policies, goals such as the development of innovative technologies related to the convergence of cyber and physical spaces are set. Even though the purpose of developing such innovative technologies is set, in order to strongly promote the R&D and patent protection policy of high-tech (specific important technologies) that can be used maliciously in international disputes or cyber terrorism, etc., the “Economic Security Promotion Act” has been enacted and implemented as a separate legislation. The Act stipulates R&D policies for securing specific critical materials and specific critical technologies to protect national security and public safety and the system that allows patent applications to be non-disclosed was introduced and implemented on May 1, 2024 in cases where patent applications of research results could harm Japan's economic security and public stability. It is necessary to reflect it in Korea's technical security policy through in-depth analysis and review of the law relating to measures to secure specific important materials, research and development and research funding policy of specific critical technologies, and the Non-Disclosure System of Patent Applications of research results thereof. Research on the Development of Creative Innovation Industry of Landmark Building and City Image

Landmark building is the external image and social card of a city, which reflects the traditional culture and spiritual connotation of a city and even a country. Landmark buildings not only refer to the large modern buildings in the city, but also include large sculptures, artworks, historical relics and so on. The innovative and creative industries of landmark buildings and urban images are often attached to the cultural tourism industry. At present, the development and research in this field are vague in definition, and the industrial development situation varies significantly in different cities and regions. Domestic first-tier cities such as Beijing, Shanghai and some tourist cities such as Hangzhou and Suzhou have advanced and comprehensive development in this field, and there are also unconscious spontaneous behaviors of the public to broaden the research content in this field. In contrast, some cities have not yet formed a good industry in this field. The development of innovative and creative industries for landmark buildings in foreign countries is earlier than that in China, and its forms are more abundant and avant-garde, which is worth learning and reference for researchers. The development of innovative and creative industries in landmark buildings will enhance the image and popularity of the city, thus boosting the development of the local tourism economy. At the same time, the industry shows the meaning and connotation of landmark buildings by means of artistic expression. In addition, innovative and creative products will also promote the popularization of arts education for all. Through a series of research and practice, the author also adds some specific cases and feasible research routes for the research and development of this field.

The Effect of Transformational Leadership and Organizational Culture on Organizational Innovation Through Employee Creativity as an Intervening Variable “Study on the Jurisdiction of the West Papua High Court”

This research focuses on analyzing the impact of transformational leadership and organizational culture on employee creativity and organizational innovation in the West Papua High Court Jurisdiction. The type of research used is quantitative research method with causality analysis. Data was collected by utilizing a questionnaire. In the data processing process to calculate each indicator, a Likert scale was used. Furthermore, validity and reliability tests were carried out. Data analysis was carried out by descriptive analysis and SmartPLS Analysis. The results showed that partially, transformational leadership has no effect on employee creativity, organizational culture partially has a positive effect on employee creativity, partially transformational leadership has no effect on organizational innovation, partially, organizational culture affects organizational innovation, and employee creativity partially has no effect on organizational innovation, partially, transformational leadership intervened by employee creativity has no effect on organizational innovation, and partially, organizational culture intervened by employee creativity has no effect on organizational innovation. Suggestions, it is good for organizations to improve the quality of transformational leadership, and need to pay attention to values, norms, and behaviors that encourage creativity.

This study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the concept of the role of strategic leadership in achieving competitive advantage. The study also aims to determine the role of strategic leadership in achieving competitive advantage in Dallah Al Baraka Company - Jeddah, and to know the level of practices of its senior leadership, and to know the level of practices of middle leadership (department heads). of senior leaders and employees from the point of view of their employees. To achieve the objectives of the study in the chosen environment, Dallah Al Baraka Group of Companies - Jeddah, the field study was applied to a sample of (30) of the company’s employees, divided into 10 (senior leadership); (10) Department heads; (10) employees in the departments, and a questionnaire form was designed with a set of scales, and each scale measures each dimension and each variable separately. The questionnaire form included four sections: demographic data, the role of strategic leadership in achieving competitive excellence, and the impact of strategic leadership on financial performance, the impact of strategic leadership on creative and innovative aspects. Then the researcher used the descriptive analytical method through which he attempts to describe the phenomenon - the subject of the study, answer its questions, and test its hypotheses - and analyze its data using the statistical program SPSS. The study reached several results, the most important of which are: Strategic leadership decisions and practices led to an increase in revenues and profits at Dallah Al Baraka Company. Strategic leadership also contributed to achieving growth and expansion in the organization’s activities and investments. The study also demonstrated the presence of clear indicators that reflect the impact of leadership on competitive advantage. The results of the study confirmed that leadership practices work to achieve competitive excellence in a sustainable manner in Dallah Al Baraka companies, and that creativity and encouraging innovation is the primary factor in enhancing the competitive ability of the organization. The study concluded with some recommendations, the most important of which is the necessity of having effective communication channels to achieve the primary goal of strategic leadership, let it be strategic communication. The study also recommended the need to strive towards training the organization’s employees, whether they are leaders or employees in their work sites, in a way that enables them to perform their work and achieve innovative growth during training.

Creative-aesthetic product design and tools

Providing a product with characteristics of beauty and creative innovation is one of the aims of any contemporary industry to meet the needs of customers and satisfy their aesthetic and functional requirements. To study the production process and the realisation of creative products with aesthetically pleasing attributes, we created an environment that allows the construction of simple textured polygons (triangles, squares, rhombuses and pentagons) through a software application. To overcome traditional ways of assessing creative products, a Birkhoff aesthetic measure, Euclidean distance and entropy measure have been developed and applied to a sample of smart products, manufactured in the implemented environment, to analyse their aesthetic, creative and order–complexity–chaos features, respectively. The results provided us with measurable quantities of the required qualities for the sample and for each distinct product, combining the metrics to visualise the creative products in 2D and 3D spaces. Further mathematical methods, such as the point process and density probability map applied on the same sample, allowed us to move from a statistical space to probabilistic landscapes, with enhanced forecasting capability on creative features for all future products. Industrial applications are expected in the production and evaluation of products from a creative point of view.

Creative futures for cultural heritage: a typology of creative practice in the GLAM sector – towards a creative heritage approach

ABSTRACT This article seeks to develop a non-prescriptive typology of creative practice and its role in GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums) institutions through an examination of published research. Highlighting key issues and perspectives on integration and intent in each approach it examines practice through five categories: (1) demonstration; (2) programmed performance; (3) historically informed creativity and performance; (4) institutional preservation of creativity; and, (5) creative heritage. The first four categories subsume creativity as reproduction, in the pursuit of claims to originality or use GLAM spaces as a simple stage or backdrop. Creative heritage, on the other hand, is characterised by the use of creativity as an integrated practice that intentionally produces integrated and authentic outcomes allied to the repertoire and work of GLAM institutions. We conclude with suggestions about how creative innovation offers opportunities for institutions to meet and enhance strategic priorities and overcome challenges to sustainability relative to a wider cultural economy.

UiTM2025 provides future priorities framework by explicitly stated that UiTM is highly committed towards establishing a world-class research platform for global performance by providing impactful portfolios on translational research, high impact publications, creative and smart innovations, and partnerships with stakeholders. However, the design and implementation of international activity that sets out in UiTM2025 does not mean that the University has adequate capacity to address global issues, thereby undermining its international positioning and outlook. Against the historical account of the development of the UiTM, this paper evaluates evolution, opportunities and challenges associated with UiTM’s international positioning.

Analysis of The Potential of Women’s Economic Empowerment in the Digital Marketing Sector

Women’s economic empowerment refers to the process of enabling women to have broader control of their economic lives, including their access to resources, opportunities, and decision-making power. If women are empowered economically, they are better able to support themselves and their families, contribute to their communities, and support economic growth. Women entrepreneurs should implement current technology to maximize their business and marketing. By using digital applications, innovative creations can be provided uniquely and expanded into various materials. Furthermore, there are applications that help users to do independent financial management, having unique branding, global networking and promotions. Digital marketing helps to expand product reach in society and social media accelerates communication with customers. By attending workshops, joining industry associations, and participating in events or online communities, women can enrich their talents, access funding from organizations that support women entrepreneurs, and increase family economic support. On the other hand, there are some constraints faced, such as taking care of children and budgeting limitations for increasing their skills. This study was conducted to analyze twenty-five women’s potential in the digital marketing sector through counseling and training programs. They were from the local Batik home industry of 12 villages in Malang Regency, East Java province. These participants were chosen purposively from 100 members of PKK (Empowerment of Family Welfare) who participated in workshops and training local batik and have unique characteristics since their houses are located on the border of Malang city and Malang regency and their lifestyle is such that they are using a cellphone in daily life but not maximizing information from it, having social communities, but not maximizing their potencies in economics opportunities. This study used a quantitative approach. Data was collected through the questionnaire distribution to participants in training activities. Data analysis was carried out using SWOT analysis. The results showed that women’s perception and understanding of digital marketing in the research area were classified as low (80%), and this is also represented as a weakness and thread (80%). In order to solve this problem, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME) are suggested to collaborate with stakeholders in developing a sustainable program for digital marketing improvement, having support and access to markets from the governance. Analysis of Skills Needed by Unemployed Fresh Graduates in Business Administration: Evidence from Oman

The authors consider the increasing unemployment rate for fresh graduates from business administration majors in developing countries, such as Oman. The abilities and skills students need to obtain employment after graduating from postsecondary education institutions are the subject of this study. The aim of this study was to identify the skills required by the Omani labor market as well as the employability skills gap among recent business administration graduates. The relevance of this study relies on proposing an evaluation model to assess the skills required by employers, specifically in the private sector, from fresh graduates of business schools. The authors adopted a quantitative research method to achieve the study’s objectives. The data were collected through a survey which was distributed to 101 fresh graduates from two higher education institutions. The findings reveal that soft skills, such as problem-solving, teamwork, dedication to work, a positive attitude, leadership, communication, critical thinking, negotiation, and pursuit of learning, are the most needed by graduates in all aspects. The study concluded that there is a demand for different types of soft and technical skills that are important for future jobs in the private sector. The study recommends more collaboration between universities and various stakeholders to review current academic programs and design more professional and vocational training programs. Furthermore, the study emphasizes the promotion of an entrepreneurial mindset to prepare graduates to develop creative business ideas and innovation to create their jobs.

Business model innovation elements and product innovation radicalness: Central European lessons for innovation leaders and followers

Research background: Despite the increased interest in business model innovation (BMI) in the last 20 years, the current research landscape still lacks empirical efforts aimed at investigating the underexplored link between BMI and innovation performance. This is doubly true in specific contexts like Central European countries, whereas innovation systems are weaker than in Western ones, and firms strongly depend on internal R&D activities and absorptive capacity and technology upgrades via cooperation with other countries. Purpose of the article: This study draws on the BMI theory with the aim of analyzing the effects of each individual BMI element on firms’ performance in terms of creation of radical innovations vs incremental ones. Methods: The data used are from the Community Innovation Survey (CIS) 2018 — the latest micro data available to date — focusing on 16,364 firms in Central Europe, namely 5,749 Czech, 7,377 Hungarian, and 3,238 Slovakian firms. As the explained (dependent) variables are dichotomous (binary: 1 indicates the answer is yes, 0 indicates the answer is no) for all estimated models, a binary logistic regression is used in order to focus on the individual elements representing BMI and analyse their separated effects on firms’ creation of radical and incremental innovations in Central Europe. Individual BMI elements are: BMI methods, logistics, communication, accounting, external relations, human resource management, and marketing. Moreover, we check for control variables such as tax credits and allowances of R&D, public funding of innovation, cooperation with other organizations on R&D or other activities, in-house R&D activities and contracted out ones, lack of finance, lack of skilled employees and internal financial resources, and size. Findings & value added: For radical innovators, practices for organising procedures and external relations are important. For incremental innovators, methods of organising work responsibility, decision making, and human resource management are significant. Surprisingly, regardless of the innovation radicality, several BMI elements are significant. This study suggests that managers should enhance strategic collaborations with external partners out of Central Europe, exploit their absorptive capacity, and increase the knowledge and experience of their employees, whilst policymakers should keep on providing tax credits and allowances for innovation activities, maintaining a supportive infrastructure and reducing administrative burdens.

Pendampingan Peningkatan Kualitas Produk UMKM melalui Digital Marketing dan branding serta Inovasi Kemasan di Kelurahan Kilasah Kecamatan Kasemen

The issues faced by MSME actors in Kilasah village include difficulties in expanding their businesses to a wider consumer and customer reach due to the quality of their products not being easily recognized by many people. This can happen due to several factors, namely; a lack of knowledge about current marketing strategies, the absence of branding that can enhance sales quality, a lack of innovative packaging that can increase consumer and customer appeal, and an inability to utilize information technology as an alternative for digital marketing. Some of the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) found in Kilasah Village include Mang Ompong's skewered meatballs, roadside coconut ice, Seblak, Karedok, Cuangki meatballs, Cendol ice, and Umpe peanuts, along with many other SMEs. Almost all of these MSME products are marketed every day using conventional methods, such as being sold on the roadside with small stalls and using mobile carts. However, the peanut MSME still employs a seasonal marketing method, selling only during Islamic celebration days, which occur once a year. Therefore, the PkM team is optimistic about providing assistance in the creation of packaging innovations, branding, and digital marketing to enhance the quality of the UMKM umpet peanuts, which are considered to require more support. The implementation of the program goes through several stages that serve as the method for community service, namely the observation stage, preparation stage, implementation stage, and evaluation stage. The results of the mapping have a significant impact on improving the quality of the Umpet peanut MSME products. Assistance in creating packaging innovations and branding for Umpet peanut MSME products is essential to enhance the appeal to potential consumers and customers, as well as to sustain the business so that it continues to operate and grow. Assistance in creating Instagram social media accounts can enhance product quality in sales, reach a wider market, sustain the business, compete with other MSME players, and develop the business for further advancement.

SPACES OF ART CULTURE ORGANIZATION CREATED BY WOMEN INTELLECTUALS OF THE 17TH CENTURY

Background. The concepts of cultural space and cultural space were analyzed by A.Ya. Flier, L.P. Repina and others. In Western European culture of the 17th century, the problem of the place and role of a woman creator became more acute. The beginning of the present of women’s creativity originates in those times. Women's intellectual culture is a mental and verbal foundation created by creative women of a specific historical era and a specific country. The relevance of the study of women's intellectual culture of the 17th century is associated with the revival of the awareness of women creators of the past and the destruction of stereotypes in relation to women's creativity. The article analyzes the aspect of the organization of women's intellectual culture of the 17th century in order to identify the spaces in which women creators created works of art. Methods. While analyzing cultural institutions, an axiological approach is used with the inclusion of an anthropological component. While analyzing the space of art culture organization, methods such as analysis of the physical characteristics of the space, its internal structure, functions, values, place and role of creators in it and the results of their creative activity are used. Results. Creative women in the 17th century create their own spaces for the production of artistic cultural objects. Such spaces are monastery, female academy, salon, and Women’s Republic of Letters. Conclusion. The closed spaces for the organization of women's intellectual culture were monastery and female academy, where works of art were created within the framework of tradition. The open space was the salon, which created favorable conditions for creative innovation. In the space of Women’s Republic of Letters the new principles of upbringing and education were worked out.

This study aims to assess the impact of transformational leadership style and employee creativity with organizational innovation, as well as the moderating role of intrinsic motivation. One of the key skills for the growth of contemporary companies is creativity and innovation, which can boost an organization's sense of identity and job satisfaction in addition to providing significant financial advantages. However, it is difficult to maintain innovation and competitive advantage in the quickly evolving business environment of today. Thus, an important area of research in organizational management is how to enhance employee creativity and organizational innovation.

Combinatory and customization of creativity techniques depending on the characteristics of the tasks of innovation development

The article considers the range of creative methods that are commonly used in the complex landscape of innovative development. The main focus is on revealing the problems associated with the choice of appropriate creative methodologies that resonate with the subtle requirements of individual innovative endeavors. Through comprehensive research, various categories of innovation, ranging from revolutionary breakthroughs to incremental advances, are scrutinized, as well as an in-depth analysis of the various models and methodologies used to segment the continuum of innovation development into individual phases. Based on extensive research efforts, a special framework for classification and support of the innovation development process for each of the proposed stages is proposed. This innovative structure combines a number of creative techniques and their constituent elements into a single whole. Presented in the form of a comprehensive matrix, this model facilitates the intelligent choice of creative methods adapted to a specific innovation typology and project development stage. The use of the proposed innovative model will help by significantly increasing the efficiency of the processes of creating ideas, while streamlining the development and implementation of new products and advanced technologies. By providing practitioners with a systematic and sophisticated approach to problem solving, the model ensures optimal application of creativity techniques to the needs of each unique innovation endeavor. This holistic approach to innovation management not only fosters a culture of continuous improvement, but also creates a fertile ground for transformational breakthroughs, contributing to sustainable growth and competitiveness in today’s dynamic marketplace. Therefore, the author analyzed the existing creativity techniques used in the creation of innovations and synthesized a comprehensive innovation approach that allows identifying each step in the development of an innovation and customizing creativity techniques and their elements for each of the stages.

Influence of Servant Leadership on Team Cohesion and Innovation in South Korea

Purpose: The aim of the study was to analyze the influence of servant leadership on team cohesion and innovation in South Korea. Methodology: This study adopted a desk methodology. A desk study research design is commonly known as secondary data collection. This is basically collecting data from existing resources preferably because of its low cost advantage as compared to a field research. Our current study looked into already published studies and reports as the data was easily accessed through online journals and libraries. Findings: Servant leadership in South Korea fosters trust, collaboration, and open communication among team members, enhancing both team cohesion and innovation. This leadership style promotes a culture where teams work cohesively, share diverse perspectives, and engage in collective problem-solving, fostering creativity and continuous innovation. Servant leaders' emphasis on empathy and stewardship contributes significantly to creating supportive team dynamics that nurture experimentation and adaptive approaches within organizations. Unique Contribution to Theory, Practice and Policy: Social exchange theory, transformational leadership theory & social identity theory may be used to anchor future studies on influence of servant leadership on team cohesion and innovation in South Korea. Organizations can benefit by integrating servant leadership principles into leadership development programs and organizational culture. Governmental and organizational policies should incentivize and support the adoption of servant leadership practices.
