Research on the Role of Digital Education in Sustainable Development

Driven by the digital wave, the transformation of digital education is becoming the only way for the innovation and development of colleges and universities. Digital education in colleges and universities not only refers to the digitalization of educational tools, but also to the multi-level teaching system digitalization of education, teaching, management and resource utilization. Based on this, by analyzing the current situation of digital development and problems in domestic universities, summarizing relevant experience, we put forward the diversified summary of digital education and teaching forms to summarize the feedback of improving digital classroom teaching. This article referred to approximately 80 relevant literature. These documents cover multiple aspects such as digital education, educational management innovation, and digital teaching models in universities, ensuring the comprehensiveness and depth of the research. Priority should be given to research results published within the past 5 years to ensure the timeliness and relevance of research conclusions. Literature is directly related to digital education and innovative development in universities, with a focus on research on educational tools, teaching methods, management models, and resource utilization. Including research results from both domestic and international sources, in order to compare the development of digital education under different cultural backgrounds. case analysis and comparative demonstration to explore the path of innovative education management of higher education and put forward some suggestions.

The Direction of Innovation The Application of TRIZ Rule Based on the Industrial Life Cycle

Starting from the randomness of innovation in current investment , this article explores an innovation platform jointly built by universities and enterprises. Based on the technology system evolution law and industry life cycle theory in TRIZ th eory, it hopes to seek guidance and direction for innovation in universities and enterprises, improve the efficien cy of scientific research transformation, and reduce investment risks.

Identity Construction of Dayak [Ethnic]: Citation and Thematic Analysis of Systematic Literature Review

Objective: This research examines the adaptive capacity of university public relations from a self-referential autopoiesis communication perspective. It explores how the university ecosystem and the rhetorical expressions produced by University- PR function as differentiation mechanisms within the organizational system in Makassar Regency Theoretical Framework: This dissertation uses Niklas Luhmann's (2002) self-referential autopoiesis communication perspective to explore the adaptive capacity of Public Relations through the meaning of the university ecosystem and the expression of governance and rhetoric produced as differentiation of organizational science function systems. Method: This research uses a radical constructivism paradigm with comparative case studies at three universities. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and focus group discussions with university leaders, directors, heads of Public Relations, and staff of Public Relations, while rhetorical production is tracked by media content analysis. Data were analysed by triangulation, reduction, presentation, and conclusion. Results and Discussion: The research findings indicate that Public Relations at Unhas identifies environmental challenges by interpreting university autonomy and the PTN BH League, enhancing human resources, and fostering research and innovation as a Maritime continent campus, while temporarily achieving a World Class University ranking of 500-1000. In contrast, UINAM's Public Relations addresses sustainability issues within the Public Service Agency, aligning with the Chancellor's vision and responding to digital transformation. UMI's Public Relations focuses on institutional competition, partnership development, and maintaining Islamic identity, targeting improvements in Tridharma and aiming for a 500-1000 Asian World Class University ranking. Differences in governance structures reflect universities' complexities, with distinct coordination lines across institutions. Research Implications: This study emphasizes that universities employ unique communication strategies that diverge from the conventional business and government focus in public relations research, revealing the need for a more nuanced understanding of their public relations practices. Originality/Value: The research reveals that Unhas Public Relations tackles environmental issues through university autonomy and innovation, achieving a temporary World Class ranking. UINAM focuses on sustainability and digital transformation, while UMI emphasizes competition and Islamic identity, aiming for academic excellence. Governance structures vary, reflecting the complexities of each institution.

Balanced Scorecard Analysis On Private University Performance (Study At Economic Faculty Of Muhammadiyah Sorong University)

Performance measurement is one way to assess the level of success or failure of public sector organizations in carrying out programs or policies that have been set in realizing the vision and mission. The obstacles faced by the Faculty of Economics in dealing with public trust and improving the accreditation of study programs require a method used to carry out performance measurement regularly and periodically. The Balanced Scorecard in the education sector can be adapted to meet various objectives in the education sector, such as determining the effect of BSC implementation on university research and innovation performance. The method used in this research is mix methods so that it can produce quantitative results on customer / student satisfaction and qualitative results on the operational activities of the Faculty of Economics. The results of this study indicate that faculty performance from a financial perspective is measured by the budget plan for the annual economic faculty work program and the realization of work programs carried out at the Faculty. Non-financial performance, the perspective of internal business is described by the achievement of the Faculty's vision and mission, the growth and learning perspective is described through the utilization of the Faculty's human resources and the customer perspective is measured through student satisfaction. Balanced Scorecard is able to measure university performance, especially in the faculty of economics.

Online Service Quality Assessment in Higher Education: Development, Validation, and Implementation of an e-Tool

In pursuit of quality and excellence in educational institutions, it is increasingly important to identify demands and needs of stakeholders. Service quality has been identified as one such demand. The purpose of the current study was to develop and validate a quality service assessment tool based on SERVQUAL Model to describe the service quality in Higher Education Institution. The sources of data were the head and personnel of the different clusters of CBSUA. The data were treated statistically using weighted mean and rank. The weighted-mean scores for the five SERVQUAL dimensions across the offices of the University President, Research and Innovation, Administration and Finance, Business and External Affairs, and Academic Cluster demonstrates that respondents find all five dimensions to be appropriate for assessing the service quality of each office. The relatively high scores across all dimensions highlight the importance of Tangibility, Assurance, Reliability, Reliability, Responsiveness, and Empathy in shaping stakeholders' perceptions and expectations of service quality within an educational institution. While some dimensions hold greater importance for specific offices due to their unique roles and responsibilities, all dimensions are nonetheless essential for evaluating the overall service quality in each context. The findings align with previous research on the applicability of the SERVQUAL model across various contexts, including higher education institutions. Ultimately, the results underline the significance of maintaining a high level of service quality across all dimensions in each office, as this is crucial for ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and fostering a positive reputation for the university.

Structuring Innovation Activities in Moroccan Public Universities: Proposal of a Procedures Manual

In a context marked by the growing need for innovation and knowledge transfer within Moroccan universities, this article presents the development of a procedure manual aimed at guiding and optimizing the functioning of university innovation structures. The primary objective is to support the development of scientific research and innovation within these institutions, in alignment with "PACTE ESRI 2030," a national plan designed to transform the ecosystem of higher education and scientific research in Morocco. The procedures manual developed is the result of an empirical approach based on the practical experience of active participants within various segments of the innovation structures at the studied universities and the outcomes of questionnaires completed by key stakeholders involved in technological monitoring, invention disclosure, the maturation process, and technology transfer. This approach enabled the capitalization of the lived experiences and acquired knowledge of these actors, leading to the creation of a procedural guide that is both pragmatic and tailored to the specific realities of university innovation ecosystems. The aim is to optimize current practices and encourage more efficient and harmonized management of research and technological development activities. This contribution seeks to standardize key processes such as technological monitoring, invention disclosure, maturation procedures, and the stages of technology transfer. The main objective of this manual is to provide a structured and coherent framework for managing innovation activities, promoting modern governance, and ensuring transparent and effective resource management.

Multi-factor Synergy and Optimization Strategies for the Business Model of Private Higher Education Institutions’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubators

Globalization and advancements in science and technology foster innovation and entrepreneurship. Although national strategies provide substantial support, innovation, and entrepreneurship incubators in private colleges and universities face challenges such as insufficient funding and a lack of talent. This study enhances the theoretical framework of innovation and entrepreneurship education and broadens the application of business model theory. It examines the current state of innovation and entrepreneurship incubators in private universities, using the Maker Dream Workshop at Guangzhou University of Science and Technology as a case study. Key aspects such as value proposition, resource allocation, and profit models are analyzed. Additionally, challenges in multi-factor collaboration, including internal synergy barriers and external coordination difficulties, are identified. Optimization strategies are proposed, such as establishing an information-sharing platform, optimizing resource allocation mechanisms, improving benefit distribution systems, developing a long-term mechanism for industry-university-research cooperation, strengthening communication with the government, and encouraging participation from investment institutions. Furthermore, the study outlines the strategic measures required to ensure the sustainable development of innovation and entrepreneurship incubators in private colleges and universities.

Objectives This study attempted to see how the social structure affects an individual’s life, that is, the career of researchers who shape, teach, and study, through autoethnogrphy on the life of non-tenure track full-time professor as a marginal man. Methods To this end, this study conducted a autoethnography that can view and interpret the researcher’s experience within a socio-cultural context using the researhcer’s diary, KakaoTalk conversation, recall data, and literature data, and attempted to analyze socio-cultural interactions through the concept of habitus and symbolic boundaries. Results Through my experience as a professor in charge of projects, I came to recognize the identity of a professor in university society, and after becoming a full-time non-tenure track professor, I had time to embody my habihus as a professor in a disconnected room(cocoon). The strategy of distinguishing between various unequal systems and policies in society and universities was giving legitimacy to the boundary by changing the symbolic boundary of the non-tenure track into a social boundary. Theses boundaries had the effect of excluding researchers and themselves, thereby affecting their sense of belonging and other choices. Conclusions Unequal systems and polices affect the perception, identity, and lives of professors, which also affects the original purpose of university education. In order for university innovation to be successful, the participation and effort of all members, not just dedicated personnel, is required.

A Case-Based Exploration of the Digital Teaching Mode of Supply Chain Management Course

Accompanied by the trend of globalization moving forward and the wide application and practice of digital technology, the importance of supply chain management has become more and more prominent and has also become the key to the operation and development of social enterprises. Hence, promoting the teaching innovation of the Supply Chain Management course has become a key link in the education of colleges and universities. Thus, in order to improve the teaching quality and level of the Supply Chain Management course, digital technology should be integrated into it, so as to promote the innovation of higher vocational colleges and universities in the mode of educating people, and to strengthen the quality and effect of talent cultivation. Therefore, the paper puts forward the countermeasures based on the case teaching method to promote the digital teaching mode construction of the Supply Chain Management course, so as to expand the teaching content by using the case teaching and ensure the close connection between the teaching content and the industry demand, thus helping to improve the teaching quality of the Supply Chain Management course and strengthen the level of talent cultivation.

University Technology Transfer in the USA: Organisational Strategies and Functional Practices

This study explores the organisational design and strategic approaches employed by Technology Transfer Offices in U.S. higher education institutions, focusing on their engagement with industry partners. By analysing data from sources such as the Association of University Technology Managers Licensing Activity Surveys, the research provides a comprehensive overview of how Technology Transfer Offices facilitate the commercialisation of university-based innovations. The study identifies key functional areas within Technology Transfer Offices, including management, licensing, legal, marketing, and administrative support, and evaluates their roles in the technology transfer process. The scientific novelty of this research lies in its detailed examination of the specific strategies used by Technology Transfer Offices to engage industry partners, such as customised licensing agreements, collaborative research ventures, industry-sponsored research programs, and robust networking and outreach activities. The study assesses the strengths and weaknesses of these practices, providing new insights into how these strategies bridge the gap between U. S. university academic research and market needs. Findings indicate that customised licensing agreements, accounting for 35% of approaches, are a primary strategy. Tailoring licensing terms to meet industry partners’ needs enhances the feasibility and appeal of university technologies. Collaborative research ventures, used in about 30% of cases, foster joint projects between university scientists and industry experts, accelerating technology development and commercialisation. Industry-sponsored research programmes, preferred by universities in the USA in 20% of cases, align university research objectives with market demands, ensuring a direct path to commercialization. Networking and outreach activities, utilised in 15% of cases, are crucial for showcasing university innovations and building industry relationships. The study highlights the importance of effective resource allocation withinTechnology Transfer Offices, with significant investments in licensing (35%) and legal/patent activities (30%). However, the modest allocation to marketing (20%) suggests a potential area for improvement to enhance Technology Transfer Offices’ effectiveness.

The Impact of Regional Policies on the Efficiency of Scientific and Technological Innovation in Universities: Evidence from China

The efficiency of scientific and technological innovation in universities is strongly influenced by both institutional structures and policies. However, existing research predominantly emphasizes the role of internal factors—such as resource allocation, management efficiency, personnel systems within universities, and education-sector policies—on innovation efficiency. This focus often overlooks the significant impact of regional factors on innovation outcomes. This study compares and analyzes the scientific and technological innovation efficiency of universities, growth rates, sources of inefficiency, inter-regional disparities, and intra-regional differences between universities in three strategically important regions in China, namely the Yangtze River Delta, the Pearl River Delta, and the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region, based on their respective regional planning from 2007 to 2017. Additionally, it employs the Tobit model to explore the pathways to improve the scientific and technological innovation efficiency of universities within these three major strategic regions. This study finds that the implementation of targeted regional policies significantly enhances the efficiency of scientific and technological innovation in Chinese universities. Furthermore, it reveals that this positive impact also exhibits differences between universities and regions. The promotion effect of targeted regional policies on the efficiency of scientific and technological innovation in universities shows a high degree of similarity. In more developed cities, however, the scientific and technological innovation efficiency of universities tends to be lower. Both the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta regions within the three major strategic areas are significantly affected by the negative impact of financial assets, while the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region, although affected negatively, is not significant. Moreover, this study uncovers that population density and fixed assets also serve as factors that can enhance the scientific and technological innovation efficiency of universities.

Research on Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Reform in Local Colleges and Universities under the Background of Industry-Education Integration

With the continuous development of China’s economy and the continuous upgrading of market demand, the demand for talent in enterprises and industries is increasingly diversified and complex, especially innovation ability has become one of the important standards to measure the quality of talent. At the same time, the difficult employment of college students is still serious, the state has issued a series of policies to encourage college students to actively start their own businesses. In this context, local universities, as an important part of higher education, are facing the critical task of innovation and entrepreneurship education reform. This paper aims to explore the current situation, problems, and reform paths of innovation and entrepreneurship education reform in local universities under the background of the integration of industry and education, in order to improve the training quality of innovative and entrepreneurial talents.

Cooper 등의 다차원 정책분석 모형을 활용한「고등·평생교육지원 특별회계」정책 분석

This study aims to comprehensively understand and systematically analyze the policy-making process of the 'Special Account for Supporting Higher and Lifelong Education' by taking a multi-dimensional approach. To achieve the research objectives, various materials such as national laws and regulations, government policy documents, press releases, research papers, and internet portal articles were collected. The multidimensional policy analysis model of Cooper et al. was utilized to analyze it in normative, structural, constituent, and technical dimensions. First, at the normative level, the Special Account was promoted with the goals of optimizing education finance and supporting university innovation. Second, structurally, the Special Account was influenced by institutional structures such as tuition freezes and the vulnerability of higher education financing. Third, in terms of its constituent dimension, the policy-making process of the Special Account revealed interactions among the central and local governments, higher education institutions, and elementary, secondary, and middle education institutions. Fourth, the technical dimension discussed the adoption of a temporary operation and funding method as a compromise, and it highlighted that the government's vision was being realized through the budget size and utilization process. Additionally, the urgency of policy evaluation for securing sustainable higher education funding was emphasized. Based on the findings, it is suggested that establishing a long-term financing measure, such as a Higher Education Finance Grant, is essential to enhance the stability and predictability of higher education funding.
