The ability of university students to write scientific texts has become one of the priority areas in higher education. Nevertheless, it is important to complement these skills with new advancements in information technology, especially with the emergence of artificial intelligence. In this way, the authors aim to explore the impact of writing review articles on strengthening these research skills among students. A mixed-methods approach was employed, beginning with a bibliometric stage that analyzed 679 articles published in Scopus between 2019 and 2023. The second stage focused on the thematic analysis of the most relevant research through the development of content units. It was identified that there is a marked interest in the scientific community regarding the study of integrating artificial intelligence into education, specifically in the writing of review articles as a pedagogical strategy to acquire writing skills. Specifically, the benefits of artificial intelligence in bibliometrics and linguistic and grammatical adaptations are highlighted. However, the need to adopt an ethical approach in the application of artificial intelligence is emphasized, so that university students can develop academic writing skills, thereby ensuring that these tools promote student development in a more responsible manner.

PENINGKATAN DAYA SAING MELALUI PLATFORM SHOPEE DENGAN ANALISIS SWOT (STUDI KASUS : MTRSTORE.ID)

MTRSTORE.ID is a thrift shop business operating in the fashion industry, offering imported thrift products such as jeans, chinos, and cargo pants. This business was chosen due to the rapid trend growth in the sector, particularly among teenagers. This study aims to analyze the competitiveness of MTRSTORE.ID, a thrift shop operating on the Shopee e-commerce platform, using the SWOT analysis approach. In the context of globalization and advancements in information technology, businesses like MTRSTORE.ID face challenges to remain relevant and competitive in an increasingly tight market. The analysis results show that MTRSTORE.ID has strengths, including high sales potential through Shopee's large user base and attractive promotions. However, the business also faces weaknesses, such as intense competition and high administrative costs. Opportunities to boost sales include participating in discount programs and utilizing Shopee's advertising features, while threats such as price competition and challenges in maintaining product quality need to be addressed. This research employs a qualitative methodology with a case study approach. It recommends that MTRSTORE.ID implement these strategies to enhance its competitiveness on Shopee, utilizing the SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis framework.

The Practice of Large Language Models in Automated Question Generation: A Case Study of ChatGLM in High School Information Technology Curriculum

With the advancement of information technology, the field of education is undergoing transformation. In the teaching of high school information technology, scientific and efficient question formulation is crucial for enhancing the quality of education. Traditional methods of question formulation rely on the experience of teachers, leading to issues such as inconsistent difficulty levels and incomplete coverage of knowledge points. Large language models (LLMs), such as ChatGLM, leverage natural language processing and deep learning technologies to automatically generate questions that align with the curriculum, thereby improving scientific accuracy and precision, enhancing diversity and innovation, and catering to students’ personalized needs. Additionally, LLMs can enhance the efficiency of question formulation and reduce the burden on teachers. This paper explores the application value of large language models in the formulation of questions for high school information technology, through empirical research comparing the performance of human-generated and ChatGLM-generated questions in terms of accuracy, relevance, clarity, and willingness. The study selected two chapters, “Data and Information” and “Fundamentals of Algorithms,” and employed both human and ChatGLM-generated questions, inviting teachers to evaluate them. Through data analysis and statistical testing, we reveal the advantages and limitations of large language models in educational question formulation, providing insights for the intelligent development of educational assessment systems.

Dynamics of Interpersonal Relationships in Virtual Guidance and Counseling for BK Students: Challenges, Opportunities, and Intervention Strategies

The counseling process has been significantly changed by advances in information and communication technology. The digital era has paved the way for virtual counseling services, which allow wider, more flexible, and anonymous access for those who need it, especially students. One of the important services provided to students to support their emotional, social, and academic growth is counseling. Counseling in higher education is increasingly being done virtually due to the rapid development of information technology. The purpose of this study is to investigate the dynamics of interpersonal relationships in virtual counseling, find problems, and find opportunities and intervention strategies that may be used in this situation. It is important to understand these challenges and create useful solutions for them. Some of the main problems that are often faced include difficulties in building strong emotional relationships, limitations in non-verbal interactions, and technical problems that can interfere with communication. The research method is a qualitative descriptive method by taking data from several libraries that are used as consideration. After reviewing the literature from various related research sources, this article concludes that although virtual counseling services present some technical problems and limitations in non-verbal interactions, they also offer greater opportunities. Appropriate intervention strategies include technology skills training, use of safe platforms, and approaches that rely more on effective communication skills.

Tunable Memory Performances of Hyperbranched Polyimides Functionalized with Metal-Porphyrins.

With the rapid advancement of information technology, the need to achieve ultra-high-density data storage has become a pressing necessity. This study synthesized three hyperbranched polyimides (HBPI-TAPP, HBPI-(Zn)TAPP, and HBPI-(Cu)TAPP) by polymerizing 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(4-aminophenyl)porphyrin (TAPP), which features a cavity for metal ion coordination, with 4,4'-(hexafluoroisopropylidene)diphthalic anhydride (6FDA), to systematically investigate the effect of metal ion species on storage performance. According to the results, memory devices based on HBPI-(Zn)TAPP exhibit volatile SRAM (static random-access memory) characteristics, whereas devices employing HBPI-TAPP and HBPI-(Cu)TAPP demonstrate non-volatile WORM (write-once, read-many) characteristics. Molecular simulations based on density functional theory (DFT) reveal that the storage behaviors of these polymers are governed by a charge-transfer mechanism, wherein electrons transfer from the porphyrin donor segment to the 6FDA acceptor segment, forming charge-transfer complexes that are not easily dissociated. The larger dipole moments of HBPI-TAPP and HBPI-(Cu)TAPP render the complexes difficult to dissociate, resulting in WORM-type memory behavior. In contrast, HBPI-(Zn)TAPP has the lowest threshold voltage, with a stronger electron binding that hinders the dissociation of the charge transfer complex, thereby enabling SRAM-type memory behavior.

Exploring Metaheuristic Optimization Algorithms in the Context of Textual Cyberharassment: A Systematic Review

ABSTRACTThe digital landscape and rapid advancement of Information and Communication Technology have significantly increased social interactions, but it has also led to a rise in harmful behaviours such as offensive language, cyberbullying, and HS. Addressing online harassment is critical due to its severe consequences. This study offers a comprehensive evaluation of existing studies that employed metaheuristic optimization algorithms for detecting textual harassment content across social media platforms, highlighting their strengths and limitations. Using the PRISMA methodology, we reviewed and analysed 271 research papers, ultimately narrowing down the selection to 36 papers based on specific inclusion and exclusion criteria. By analysing key factors such as optimization techniques, feature engineering strategies, and dataset characteristics, we identify crucial trends and challenges in the field. Finally, we offer practical recommendations to improve the accuracy of predictive models, including adopting hybrid approaches, enhancing multilingual capabilities, and expanding models to operate effectively across various social media platforms.

Optimizing Learning Path Design in Mobile Learning Platforms for Online Courses

With the rapid advancement of information technology, online education, particularly vocational education, has become a vital avenue for enhancing skills and knowledge. Vocational education necessitates flexible and personalized learning path design to accommodate the diverse needs and behaviors of learners. Mobile learning platforms, as a pivotal form of modern online education, provide learners with the convenience of accessing educational resources anytime and anywhere. However, existing methods for optimizing learning paths exhibit notable limitations, primarily in accurately capturing learners’ dynamic behaviors and in providing personalized and intelligent path design. Therefore, how to optimize learning paths based on learners’ dynamic behavior data has become a research hotspot in academia and educational practice. At present, many studies focus on matching analysis based on students’ static characteristics with course content but overlook learners’ behavioral changes and dynamic needs during the learning process. Traditional recommendation algorithms and rule-based path design methods are difficult to cope with complex learning behaviors and diverse learner needs. This study addresses these limitations by proposing an optimization model for mobile learning path design based on multi-view prediction of dynamic student behaviors. The model extracts mobile interaction features from student groups, constructs a multiple mobile behavior collaborative encoder, and employs multiple task label prediction techniques to achieve personalized and intelligent optimization of learning paths. The results demonstrate that this approach significantly enhances the learning efficiency and experience of learners, offering novel insights and technological support for the path design of mobile learning platforms.

Assessing the Impact of the Current Pharmacy Education in the Attitudes of Early Career Pharmacists towards Leadership and Professional Identity in Nigeria

Background: The WHO nine-star pharmacist model as well as the Centre for the advancement of pharmacy Education (CAPE) Educational outcomes have recognised the concept of leadership as a crucial attribute for pharmacists. This emphasizes the need for pharmacy education to meet up with the goals, need, objectives and requirements of the profession. Objectives: Accordingly, the objective of our study was to investigate the impact of the current pharmacy education in the early career pharmacists towards leadership and professional identity in Nigeria. Methods: This was a cross-sectional survey of early-career pharmacists across the six geopolitical zones in Nigeria. In this study, early-career pharmacists were referred to licensed pharmacists with five or less years of practice. Results: 580 early career pharmacists participated in the study. From the study, 65.6% of the respondents noted that the pharmacy education prepared them effectively for leadership while 79.3% of the respondents noted that pharmacy education prepared and imbibed professional identity in them. The result of this study may be due to the improved curriculum in pharmacy education in Nigeria and also a deviation towards pharmaceutical care and PharmD program which highlights leadership, direct responsibility, clinical-oriented care and managerial skills as core values. This study suggested limited mentorship program and workload/ time constraints as key barriers to display leadership roles among early career pharmacists. From this study, 82.8% of our respondents suggest that the pharmacy education curriculum need adjustment to better prepare students for leadership roles. This may be due to the shift in paradigm from pharmacist being product-oriented to becoming patient-oriented and also with the rapid advancement in cutting-edge information technology and artificial intelligence (AI), the nature of pharmacist work has changed and thus job security is likely affected. Conclusion: The findings of our study showed that leadership has been moderately incorporated into the current pharmacy education in Nigeria but there is need to improve the curriculum by introducing early mentorship program, entrepreneurship and innovation, clinical and practical experiences as well as adopting an active teaching approach in leadership as this will enable effective leadership and professional identity demonstration across all levels and fields of pharmacy practice in Nigeria.

All-Fiber Micro-Ring Resonator Based p-Si/n-ITO Heterojunction Electro-Optic Modulator

With the rapid advancement of information technology, the data demands in transmission rates, processing speed, and storage capacity have been increasing significantly. However, silicon electro-optic modulators, characterized by their weak electro-optic effect, struggle to balance modulation efficiency and bandwidth. To overcome this limitation, we propose an electro-optic modulator based on an all-fiber micro-ring resonator and a p-Si/n-ITO heterojunction, achieving high modulation efficiency and large bandwidth. ITO is introduced in this design, which exhibits an ε-near-zero (ENZ) effect in the communication band. The real and imaginary parts of the refractive index of ITO undergo significant changes in response to variations in carrier concentration induced by the reverse bias voltage, thereby enabling efficient electro-optic modulation. Additionally, the design of the all-fiber micro-ring eliminates coupling losses associated with spatial optical-waveguide coupling, thereby resolving the high insertion loss of silicon waveguide modulators and the challenges of integrating MZI modulation structures. The results demonstrate that this modulator can achieve significant phase shifts at low voltages, with a modulation efficiency of up to 3.08 nm/V and a bandwidth reaching 82.04 GHz, indicating its potential for high-speed optical chip applications.

Analisis Instagram terhadap Gaya Hidup dan Pola Komunikasi pada Remaja Karang Taruna Cempaka Putih, Kecamatan Gondangrejo, Karanganyar

The advancement of information and communication technology, particularly through social media platforms like Instagram, has a significant influence in shaping the lifestyle and communication patterns of teenagers. This study aims to analyze how teenagers in the Karang Taruna Cempaka Putih youth organization in Gondangrejo District, Karanganyar, use Instagram as a medium for self-expression to showcase their lifestyle and create new dynamics in interaction and communication in this digital era. With the development of social media, Instagram has become not only a platform for sharing photos and videos but also a space for teenagers to build their identity, explore creativity, and connect with their social environment. A descriptive qualitative method was selected as the research method for this study by observing Instagram accounts of seven 22-year-old teenagers. Data were collected through screenshots of Instagram Stories, feeds, reels, and comments, capturing activities such as vacations, nature adventures, cafe visits, significant celebrations, and participation in campus organizations. This demonstrates that social media has become a space for teenagers to express themselves. Communication patterns on Instagram are reflected in creative captions and interactive comments, creating a relaxed and dynamic atmosphere. These patterns show that Instagram is an effective medium for building communication styles. The implications of this study include an increased understanding of socio-cultural dynamics, the influence of social media on identity formation, and the development of communication skills.

Application of Deep Learning in Public Network Security Management

With the rapid advancement of information technology, network security issues have become increasingly prominent, posing significant challenges in the field of public administration. Deep learning, as a cutting-edge technology in artificial intelligence, is emerging as a critical tool for enhancing network security management due to its exceptional performance in big data processing and pattern recognition. This paper reviews the basic concepts of deep learning and its current applications in network security management, discusses the design and implementation of deep learning-based network security management systems, and analyzes their effectiveness and evaluation through specific application cases. The results show that deep learning excels in areas such as intrusion detection, malware detection, network traffic analysis, and anomaly detection, significantly enhancing network security defenses. However, the application of deep learning in network security still faces challenges such as data privacy, model robustness, and computational resources. The paper concludes by proposing future development directions, providing theoretical support and practical references for further improving public network security management.

Feasibility Testing of the Automatic Design of Three-Unit Implant Fixed Dental Prostheses with Different Dental CAD Software: A Pre-Clinical Pilot Trial.

Background/Objectives: The technical development of implant-supported fixed dental prostheses (iFDP) initially concentrated on the computer-aided manufacturing of prosthetic restorations (CAM). Advances in information technologies have shifted the focus for optimizing digital workflows to AI-based processes for design (CAD). This pre-clinical pilot trial investigated the feasibility of the automatic design of three-unit iFDPs using CAD software (Dental Manger 2021, 3Shape; DentalCAD 3.1 Rijeka, exocad GmbH). Methods: Two clinical scenarios based on a full dentition were created virtually. Physical models were produced and digitized using two intraoral scanners applying quadrant or full-arch scans (Trios3, 3Shape, Copenhagen, Denmark; and Primescan AC, Dentsply Sirona, Bensheim, Germany). For each scenario, iFDP designs were generated automatically using two laboratory software systems (Dental Manger 2021, 3Shape; DentalCAD 3.1 Rijeka, exocad GmbH), resulting in 80 STL datasets (2 scenarios × 2 scan strategies × 2 IOS systems × 5 scan repetitions × 2 software). The files were analyzed clinically for the contact schemes and pontic area. One of the automated designs for each scenario was manually post-processed and one iFDP design for each scenario was manually created by experienced dental technicians (control). The time required for all the design processes was recorded. Results: The automatic design of iFDPs without manual adjustment did not lead to clinically acceptable restorations. The time required for the automatically generated/manually adjusted iFDPs designs was not significantly different to that for the manually designed restorations. Conclusions: Current laboratory software can not automatically generate three-unit iFDPs with clinically acceptable results in terms of the interproximal and occlusal contacts and the pontic design. The automatic iFDP design process currently requires manual adjustment, which means there is no benefit in terms of the working time compared with manually created restorations.

MANAJEMEN ORGANISASI BERBASIS BUDAYA RELIGIUS DI SEKOLAH DASAR MUHAMMADIYAH 1 BANDAR LAMPUNG

Education implicitly functions and aims to develop students' cognitive, affective and psychomotor personality potential. Advances in information technology have an impact, namely the easy entry of biotechnology and the infiltration of foreign culture which is negative, this can affect both the ethics, morals and character of students. So Muhammadiyah 1 Elementary School Bandar Lampung created and implemented a religious culture for all school members. The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the concept of organizational management based on religious culture at Muhammadiyah 1 Bandar Lampung Elementary School with the functions of planning, organizing, acting, evaluating in creating and cultivating religious culture in the elementary school. The approach method is descriptive with qualitative research. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation regarding records of past events or school history and others, which discuss the problems in the research. Data analysis techniques use data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The validity checking technique uses extended participation and source triangulation. The conclusions of this research are: 1) Organizational planning based on religious culture at Muhammadiyah 1 Elementary School Bandar Lampung on religious culture has gone through systematic planning stages and processes, in accordance with the vision, mission and goals of the school; 2) Organizing a religious culture-based organization at Muhammadiyah 1 Bandar Lampung Elementary School based on religious culture in the division of authority, functions, duties and responsibilities based on the school organizational structure that has existed so far; 3) Implementing (actuating) a religious culture-based organization at Muhammadiyah 1 Elementary School Bandar Lampung on religious culture during implementation on a daily, weekly and annual basis; 4) Evaluation of religious culture-based organizations at Muhammadiyah 1 Elementary School Bandar Lampung on religious culture is carried out with supervision, reporting and control.

The Influence of Social Media Usage and Political Trust on Young Voters Political Participation in Padang City

The advancement of information technology and evolving political dynamics have significantly changed how young people engage in politics. This study focuses on investigating the influence of social media usage and political trust on the political involvement of Generation Z and Millennials in the 2024 election in Padang City. The research, utilizing a quantitative associative method with multiple linear regression analysis, involved 100 respondents aged 17 to 42, selected through proportional stratified random sampling. The results revealed a notable simultaneous influence of social media usage and political trust on political participation, accounting for 31.6%. Individually, social media usage had a substantial influence of 29.5%, while political trust had an 8.6% impact on political participation. Based on these findings, recommended that the government and relevant institutions enhance digital and political literacy among young people and foster political trust through transparency and accountability. This research emphasizes the significance of effective political communication strategies on social media to boost the political engagement of young individuals in future elections.

Analyzing the influence of structural changes on CO2 emissions in OECD countries: Employing panel cointegration techniques

Structural transformations in OECD countries significantly influence carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, affecting economic and social dimensions. These transformations encompass changes in industrial composition, technological progress, energy consumption patterns, and policy frameworks. This research investigates the impact of such structural shifts on CO2 emissions across a panel of 38 OECD countries between 2000 and 2021, using panel cointegration techniques to ensure robust analysis. The study confirms the presence of cross-sectional dependence among countries and establishes long-run cointegration relationships. Results from Fully Modified Ordinary Least Squares (FMOLS) and Dynamic Ordinary Least Squares (DOLS) models indicate that renewable energy, advancements in information and communication technology, and structural changes significantly reduce CO2 emissions. In contrast, economic growth, reliance on non-renewable energy, and institutional quality are linked to higher emissions. However, estimates derived from Panel-Corrected Standard Errors (PCSE) and Mean Group Panel (MGP) methods differ from those of FMOLS and DOLS, underscoring potential methodological variances in evaluating these relationships. This study highlights the pivotal role of structural changes in emission reduction strategies, while also emphasizing the importance of methodological choices in policy analysis. The findings provide valuable insights for policymakers aiming to align economic growth with environmental sustainability within OECD countries. Moreover, the research stresses the necessity of incorporating structural changes into long-term climate strategies to ensure their effectiveness. Future studies could expand the analysis by integrating more recent data and exploring non-linear relationships to refine policy recommendations further.

The Impact of M-learning and Problem-Based Learning Teaching Method on Students Motivation and Academic Performance

The rapid advancement of information technology has significantly improved various facets of modern human existence. Despite the rapid progress in digital technology, there has been limited headway in utilizing technology to bolster mathematics education, particularly concerning problem-solving. This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of M-learning and Problem-Based Learning (M-PBL) method in enhancing the motivation and academic performance of primary school students in mathematics. Employing an unequal-group quasi-experimental design, M-PBL method were developed based on M-learning Model, Problem-Based Learning Model, and Social Constructivism theories, resulting in 17 relevant activities for mathematics teachers. The effectiveness of these method was assessed through pre- and post-testing of an uneven control group, involving 64 Year 6 students from Johor Bharu district, Johor. Quantitative data, collected via questionnaires on student motivation and a mathematics academic performance test, were analyzed using SPSS. The results revealed significant differences in students' motivation and problem-solving skills after the implementation of M-PBL method compared to conventional approaches. This research highlights the positive impact of M-PBL methods on schools, curriculum developers, parents, and the overall mathematics teaching and learning process.

The advancement of information technology has transformed the business world from traditional to integrated digital platforms. Easy and fast access to information encourages people to engage more in online shopping through e-commerce. Businesses, including MSMEs, must leverage technology to survive and grow. Social media is one of the critical technologies, serving not only to boost sales but also as a marketing communication tool to build brand image and consumer loyalty. However, MSMEs like On's Coffee face challenges such as low educational background, limited entrepreneurial skills, and restricted access to information. Training was provided on audience segmentation strategies, targeted paid advertising, and interactive features such as polls and video content to address these issues. The program successfully enhanced partner understanding, inspired creative content development, and improved business profits by optimizing social media as an effective digital marketing platform.

The Role of Information Technology in Optimizing the Internal Audit Process and Improving the Quality of Internal Audit

This study describes the influence of the use of information technology on the quality of internal audits in Indonesia using the meta-synthesis method. The results show that the use of information technology has an important role in determining audit quality. It also highlights the importance of auditor competence in mastering various information technology tools and responding to changes that occur, especially in the business world, as well as helping auditors to carry out audit planning by monitoring the lifestyle of suspected fraudsters. This research can contribute to the development of audit practices and adaptation to technology. The implications are to help audit practitioners, regulators and stakeholders in increasing the use of information technology for better audit quality in the future. The digital era also presents challenges for auditors to be able to further improve their performance capabilities in order to adapt to future advances in information technology.

A study of the Impact of AI and New Media on Trade Development in the Retail Sector and Coping Strategies
