Exploring the nexus of Information Systems Management and strategic planning: a bibliometric perspective using the Web of Science database

In modern organizational studies, the incorporation of Information Systems (IS) and strategic planning has gained prominence. This hybrid literature review seeks to explore the literature on such incorporation and its implications for risk management, business continuity, and organizational development. First, keyword co-occurrence analysis was conducted on 105 SJR-ranked journal articles sampled from the Web of Science database. This study identified and analyzed the major research areas within the domain. Through content analysis, after refining our sample by applying bibliographic coupling of the most globally cited contributions, our sample was restricted to a selection of 32 articles, with all the articles matching or exceeding a threshold of at least 20 total global citations (TGCs). Our review indicated that research on the integration of IS and strategic planning focuses more on the factors affecting the adoption and continuance of these practices, while most papers contributing to risk management and organizational development focus on a discussion of the theoretical framework that underlies their implementation. Moreover, the review has signaled a constant number of challenges relative to this integration, especially concerning perceived effectiveness and the differential effects of cultural and generational variables on its practice in organizational settings.

Risk Management Analysis On The School Activity Plan And Budget Application Information System (ARKAS) Using Cobit 2019

In the era of globalization and the advancement of information technology, the application of information technology is an important need for educational institutions, including schools. This research focuses on the implementation of the School Activity Plan and Budget Application Information System (ARKAS) at the Palu Safety Center Christian Vocational School to increase efficiency and effectiveness in planning and managing school activities and budgets. However, the implementation of ARKAS is inseparable from various risks that can affect the effectiveness and success of the system. Therefore, risk management analysis is essential to ensure that all potential risks can be identified, analyzed, and minimized. This study uses the COBIT 2019 framework to manage risks in the application of information technology in schools. The study identifies challenges such as resistance to change, resource limitations, and information security risks. This study aims to explore how the implementation of ARKAS in the Palu Safety Army Christian Vocational School can be optimized through risk management analysis using the COBIT 2019 framework. The results of the study show that the use of COBIT 2019 can help in identifying and managing risks effectively, so that the implementation of ARKAS can run more efficiently and transparently. The resulting recommendations are expected to improve the quality of school budget management and become a reference for other schools that face similar challenges in the application of information technology.

Design of customized business process management with implementation in the apparel industry as a solution to achieve operational excellence

Textile industry companies are required to compete optimally with competitors to generate higher revenues for the sustainability of the company. In addition, companies must be responsive to market demands because of the dynamic nature of the market. One of the systems used to meet these needs is the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) information system. PT Rofina Indah Jaya (Poshboy) has obstacles in implementing ERP in the apparel industry because it is still too generic and has not been optimal in using the existing ERP system. This study aims to improve the performance and efficiency of the industry that produces real-time business reports, so that effective and efficient coordination is created. The methodology used in this study is to take a qualitative and quantitative approach to investigate the design of business process management that is adjusted to the implementation in the apparel industry as a solution to achieve operational excellence. Designing ERP based on customized business processes with implementation in the apparel industry is waterfall is a sequential development process and RACI Matrix that can be adopted to ensure the improvement process runs consistently. Optimization of the ERP business process uses Business Process Management (BPM) by identifying processes that require improvement through comprehensive process mapping to understand the overall workflow. So that ERP can manage customer relationship management (CRM), stock availability updates, warehouse stock positions, goods in transit, order placement, delivery orders, as well as recording and finance used for management decision-making analysis

Strategic Business Planning for Information Systems to Improve Public Health Services

The system management strategy plays a vital role in maintaining profitability to achieve revenue with a strategic plan that starts in all sectors of life to replace conventional technology-based services. This study aims to improve public health services through hospital environmental conditions so that performance increases and provides added value to increase the hospital's competitive advantage. There are several systems that need to be optimized, so it is necessary to group data with the ease of application systems. The study uses a descriptive descriptive approach with IS business strategy methods, internal and external environmental analysis, SWOT analysis, and McFarlan Strategic Grid analysis on IS applications. From the results of the research that has been done, IS planning is influential in helping management make decisions about a policy in a hospital that is useful for evaluating IS applications that continue to change for the better in the future.

The village medium-term development plan (RPJM desa) is one of the development planning documents that is required to be prepared for the village-level government by Law number 25 of 2004 concerning the National Development Planning System in the law which also mandates that 3 (three months after the head of the village is inaugurated the preparation of the village medium-term development plan (RPJM desa) must be completed and determined. In this study, the author uses the website as an information system for the Village Government's Medium Term Development Plan to design an RPJM and carry out development activities needed by the village.

The process of implementing good information systems and information technology requires strategic planning that is in line with business goals, so that failure and financial losses in the development of information systems and information technology can be avoided. The KM3 NU Education Foundation of Ponorogo Regency is an education organizing institution. Currently KM3 NU Ponorogo has not utilized information systems and information technology in processing academic and administrative data. This results in difficulties in increasing the productivity of school services. Based on the conditions above, it is necessary to carry out outreach activities, mentoring and FGDs for strategic planning of information systems and information technology so that foundations have guidelines in determining priorities for implementing information systems and information technology. The benefit of this activity is that the foundation can create a roadmap for developing information systems and information technology that supports business processes so that it can compete with competitors

Employing a methodological framework that includes a thorough review of relevant literature and case studies, the study illuminates the dynamic interplay between technological advancements in GIS and their practical applications in urban planning. These strategies are crucial for enhancing the efficacy of GIS in urban planning, leading to more sustainable and well-managed urban environments.

CREATION AND USE OF GEOSPATIAL DATA FOR MORPHOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF URBAN DEVELOPMENT USING GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES

The modern urban environment requires an integrated approach to management and development that takes into account various aspects of urban development and quality of life. This article discusses the use of geoinformation technologies for the creation and use of a geospatial database in the context of urban development analysis and morphometric indicators. It emphasises the importance of collecting, analysing and using geodata for effective urban planning and development. The article discusses various aspects of the use of geographic information systems in urban planning, including remote sensing for collecting geospatial data, analysis of morphometric indicators of urban development, development of recommendations for improving the urban environment and creation of urban plans based on the analysis of these data. The article highlights the main advantages of using geoinformation technologies in urban planning, such as increased accuracy and speed of data processing, the ability to comprehensively analyse geospatial information and simplify decision-making. The results of the study can be useful for city authorities, architects, planners and other stakeholders involved in the development and management of the urban environment. The use of geoinformation technologies in urban planning can contribute to the sustainable development of cities and improve the quality of life of their residents by making the planning process more efficient and transparent. The role of geoinformation technologies in the creation and use of a geospatial database for the analysis of urban development and morphometric indicators was investigated. In particular, the main aspects of creating a geospatial database, the use of geographic information systems in the collection and processing of geodata, as well as the analysis and application of morphometric indicators in urban planning were considered.

EFEKTIVITAS PENERAPAN SISTEM INFORMASI PEMERINTAHAN DAERAH (SIPD) DALAM PERENCANAAN PEMBANGUNAN DI KOTA TOMOHON

This research aims to analyze and determine the effectiveness of implementing the Regional Government Information System (SIPD) in development planning in Tomohon City. This research adopted a qualitative descriptive research method and was conducted at the Bappelitbangda office in Tomohon City, North Sulawesi. The data used in this research comes from primary and secondary data. The data analysis technique used interactive data analysis. The research results show the effectiveness of the Regional Government Information System (SIPD) application in development planning in Tomohon City, this application is considered innovative and able to increase the efficiency of planning preparation because it is electronic-based and integrated with the centre and regions. However, there are several obstacles that need to be taken into account, such as effectiveness indicators not yet being met due to frequently changing legal bases, lack of regular outreach and training for human resources, and limited infrastructure. Although this application is very helpful compared to manual methods, it still requires better adjustments and support in order to achieve optimal effectiveness according to Duncan's theory in Steers (2012).

Usage of clustering algorithms for automating route planning in transportation routing tasks

This scientific paper explores the comprehensive evaluation of clustering results applied to the geographical settlements of Ukraine. Diverse clustering methods, including K-means, DBSCAN, Agglomerative, Spectral, and Birch, were employed to analyze the spatial distribution of settlements. The assessment of each clustering method involved the application of relevant quality criteria, contributing to a thorough understanding of their performance in the context of Ukrainian settlements. The findings from this study offer valuable insights into the strengths and limitations of each clustering approach, facilitating informed decision-making in the selection of an appropriate method based on specific geographical characteristics. Additionally, the paper provides practical recommendations for optimizing the input data utilized in the clustering process, enhancing the overall efficacy of settlement analysis methodologies. This research contributes to the advancement of clustering techniques tailored to geographical datasets, with potential implications for urban planning, regional development, and geographic information systems.

AAPM WGPE report 394: Simulated error training for the physics plan and chart review.

Simulated error training is a method to practice error detection in situations where the occurrence of error is low. Such is the case for the physics plan and chart review where a physicist may check several plans before encountering a significant problem. By simulating potentially hazardous errors, physicists can become familiar with how they manifest and learn from mistakes made during a simulated plan review. The purpose of this project was to develop a series of training datasets that allows medical physicists and trainees to practice plan and chart reviews in a way that is familiar and accessible, and to provide exposure to the various failure modes (FMs) encountered in clinical scenarios. A series of training datasets have been developed that include a variety of embedded errors based on the risk-assessment performed by American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) Task Group 275 for the physics plan and chart review. The training datasets comprise documentation, screen shots, and digital content derived from common treatment planning and radiation oncology information systems and are available via the Cloud-based platform ProKnow. Overall, 20 datasets have been created incorporating various software systems (Mosaiq, ARIA, Eclipse, RayStation, Pinnacle) and delivery techniques. A total of 110 errors representing 50 different FMs were embedded with the 20 datasets. The project was piloted at the 2021 AAPM Annual Meeting in a workshop where participants had the opportunity to review cases and answer survey questions related to errors they detected and their perception of the project's efficacy. In general, attendees detected higher-priority FMs at a higher rate, though no correlation was found between detection rate and the detectability of the FMs. Familiarity with a given system appeared to play a role in detecting errors, specifically when related to missing information at different locations within a given software system. Overall, 96% of respondents either agreed or strongly agreed that the ProKnow portal and training datasets were effective as a training tool, and 75% of respondents agreed or strongly agreed that they planned to use the tool at their local institution. The datasets and digital platform provide a standardized and accessible tool for training, performance assessment, and continuing education regarding the physics plan and chart review. Work is ongoing to expand the project to include more modalities, radiation oncology treatment planning and information systems, and FMs based on emerging techniques such as auto-contouring and auto-planning.

Penggunaan Sistem Informasi Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) dan Komunikasi Verbal terhadap Adaptive Performance

This research aims to find out how much influence the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Information Systems and Verbal Communication has on Adaptive Performance at PT. Pratama Abadi Industri Sukabumi. The respondents in this study were 36 employees. This research method uses a quantitative method with an associative descriptive approach. This research carried out multiple correlation coefficient analysis, determination coefficient, multiple linear regression analysis, determination coefficient test and hypothesis testing partially (T test) and simultaneously using (F test). The results of this research show that there is a positive and significant influence between the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Information Systems on Adaptive Performance. by producing Tcount greater than Ttable, namely (2.069>2.034) with a significance of 0.046>0.05. Verbal communication has a positive and significant effect on adaptive performance, this is proven by the results of Tcount being greater than Ttable, namely (2.063 > 2.034) with a significance of 0.047 > 0.05. The contribution in measuring the influence of the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) information systems and verbal communication on adaptive performance is 81.9%, while the remaining 18.1% is the influence of other factors outside this research. PT. Niasa is a company operating in the processed food industry. In conducting its business, PT. Niasa does not plan the use and use of SI/IT well, so it does not focus on supporting the company's business strategy. There is a strong need for business strategy (SI/TI) to support the operational business of the company. Strategic planning of information systems is one of the keys to achieving corporate goals, and the strategic planning model discussed in this study adopts the approach of Ward and Peppard. Ward's and Peppar's methods are models for developing strategic plans for information systems for companies in the industry. Some of the analytical methods used are value chain analysis, SWOT analysis, and McFarlan Strategic Grid.

An Enterprise Architecture Planning for Tour and Travel Company Using TOGAF ADM

Purpose: This study aims to address inefficiencies in service delivery processes within PT. Auva Eqtena Tour and Travel, particularly concerning manual operations and administrative document management. By utilizing the TOGAF ADM (The Open Group Architecture Framework Architecture Development Method) methodology, the research seeks to develop a strategic plan for information systems that enhances service efficiency and streamlines operations. Methods: The research employs the TOGAF ADM methodology to guide the strategic planning process for information systems improvement. Four key aspects are considered: vision architecture, business architecture, information system architecture, and technology architecture. Through a systematic approach, the study identifies areas for improvement and proposes strategic initiatives to optimize the utilization of information systems and technology. Results and Discussion: Analysis of the current operational processes within PT. Auva Eqtena Tour and Travel reveals inefficiencies in manual operations and document management, leading to delays and increased resource consumption. The application of TOGAF ADM methodology facilitates the development of strategic plans across various architectural domains. The proposed initiatives include enhancements in vision architecture, business processes, information system integration, and technological infrastructure to optimize information system utilization and improve service delivery efficiency. Implications of the Research: The findings have significant implications for PT. Auva Eqtena Tour and Travel, providing actionable insights for enhancing service efficiency and operational effectiveness through strategic information systems planning. By aligning business objectives with technology capabilities, the proposed initiatives aim to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. Originality/Value: This study contributes to the existing literature by applying the TOGAF ADM methodology to address operational challenges within the tour and travel industry. By integrating strategic planning principles with architectural frameworks, the research offers a structured approach to information systems development and optimization. The proposed strategic plan provides a roadmap for PT. Auva Eqtena Tour and Travel to leverage information systems effectively, thereby enhancing its competitive position and service delivery capabilities in the market.

Integrating Artificial Intelligence and Environmental Science for Sustainable Urban Planning

The rapid urbanization of modern cities presents significant challenges in sustainable development. To address these challenges, there is a growing integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Environmental Science to enhance urban planning processes. This research aims to assess the impact and utility of AI techniques within the framework of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for sustainable urban planning. Specifically, it investigates how AI-enhanced GIS tools can be employed to improve urban development strategies and enhance sustainability assessments. Employing Spatial Analysis with GIS, this study analyzes data on land use, population density, and environmental indicators across several metropolitan areas. The methodology incorporates machine learning algorithms to predict and simulate urban growth patterns, enabling the assessment of various urban planning scenarios. The findings reveal that AI-enhanced GIS tools significantly improve the precision of development forecasts and sustainability assessments. These tools facilitate more informed decision-making in urban planning by enabling precise predictions about urban expansion and its environmental impacts. The integration of AI with environmental science not only enhances the efficiency of urban planning processes but also contributes to the resilience and sustainability of urban environments. The study provides urban planners and policymakers with advanced tools to forecast and mitigate the environmental impacts of urbanization, thereby setting a benchmark for future studies in the realm of sustainable urban planning. This research demonstrates the practical application of AI in enhancing the capabilities of GIS for complex spatial analyses, contributing significantly to the field of urban planning.

Geographic Information System for Spatial Planning in Indonesia and Its Support for Smart City Development

GISTARU (Geographic Information System for Spatial Planning) is a web-based and GIS-based information system in Indonesia that makes it easy for the public to access spatial information. In GISTARU, there are an Online Spatial Plan (RTR Online) and an Interactive Detailed Spatial Plan (RDTR) application. This research aims to; Identify and analyze the use of the Online Spatial Plan (RTR Online) website and Interactive Detailed Spatial Planning (RDTR Interactive) application in GISTARU and as well as identify the requirements for developing the website and application. In addition, the research outcomes are analyzed in terms of their contribution to the development of smart cities. Data was collected through in-depth interviews and website searches related to GISTARU, RTR Online, and RDTR Interactive at the national, provincial, and district or city levels. In-depth interview analysis is carried out through selected cases. The results showed that most regions in Indonesia have an integrated spatial pattern with GISTARU. However, there were inconsistencies in the RTR Online and RDTR Interactive data entry in GISTARU. In the meantime, relatively few spatial structure data are integrated with RTR Online. The Interactive Detailed Spatial Plan application is now operational in the majority of Indonesian provinces. The only province in which all regions have implemented interactive RDTR is DKI Jakarta. This Geographic Information System for Spatial Planning is very useful for achieving the goal of smart cities, particularly related to public services in the smart governance dimension

RADCURE: An open-source head and neck cancer CT dataset for clinical radiation therapy insights.

This manuscript presents RADCURE, one of the most extensive head and neck cancer (HNC) imaging datasets accessible to the public. Initially collected for clinical radiation therapy (RT) treatment planning, this dataset has been retrospectively reconstructed for use in imaging research. RADCURE encompasses data from 3346 patients, featuring computed tomography (CT) RT simulation images with corresponding target and organ-at-risk contours. These CT scans were collected using systems from three different manufacturers. Standard clinical imaging protocols were followed, and contours were manually generated and reviewed at weekly RT quality assurance rounds. RADCURE imaging and structure set data was extracted from our institution's radiation treatment planning and oncology information systems using a custom-built data mining and processing system. Furthermore, images were linked to our clinical anthology of outcomes data for each patient and includes demographic, clinical and treatment information based on the 7th edition TNM staging system (Tumor-Node-Metastasis Classification System of Malignant Tumors). The median patient age is 63, with the final dataset including 80% males. Half of the cohort is diagnosed with oropharyngeal cancer, while laryngeal, nasopharyngeal, and hypopharyngeal cancers account for 25%, 12%, and 5% of cases, respectively. The median duration of follow-up is five years, with 60% of the cohort surviving until the last follow-up point. The dataset provides images and contours in DICOM CT and RT-STRUCT formats, respectively. We have standardized the nomenclature for individual contours-such as the gross primary tumor, gross nodal volumes, and 19 organs-at-risk-to enhance the RT-STRUCT files' utility. Accompanying demographic, clinical, and treatment data are supplied in a comma-separated values (CSV) file format. This comprehensive dataset is publicly accessible via The Cancer Imaging Archive. RADCURE's amalgamation of imaging, clinical, demographic, and treatment data renders it an invaluable resource for a broad spectrum of radiomics image analysis research endeavors. Researchers can utilize this dataset to advance routine clinical procedures using machine learning or artificial intelligence, to identify new non-invasive biomarkers, or to forge prognostic models.
