The Utilization of Geographic Information System for Damaged roads in Medan Selayang District

Medan Selayang District is one of the sub-districts with the most populous activity center in Medan City where there is transportation infrastructure in the form of highways with various conditions, both roads with stable and unstable conditions so that they are vulnerable to roads damage. This study aims to map the level of potential road damage and analyze the level of potential road damage in Medan Selayang District using the Geographic Information System (GIS) application. The method used in this study is a data collection and data processing method using Quantum GIS. Data processing methods are in the form of georeferencing and digitization, parameter appreciation and overlap or overlay. The parameters used include slope, rainfall, soil type, traffic volume and the availability of drainage channels. The result of this study is a map of the potential level of roads damage in Medan Selayang sub-district with 3 categories of levels namely low damage along 4,714 Km (20.01%), moderate damage along 13,922 Km (59.12%) and high damage along 4,916 Km (20.87%). EFEKTIVITAS PENERAPAN SISTEM INFORMASI PEMERINTAHAN DAERAH (SIPD) DALAM PERENCANAAN PEMBANGUNAN DI KOTA TOMOHON

This research aims to analyze and determine the effectiveness of implementing the Regional Government Information System (SIPD) in development planning in Tomohon City. This research adopted a qualitative descriptive research method and was conducted at the Bappelitbangda office in Tomohon City, North Sulawesi. The data used in this research comes from primary and secondary data. The data analysis technique used interactive data analysis. The research results show the effectiveness of the Regional Government Information System (SIPD) application in development planning in Tomohon City, this application is considered innovative and able to increase the efficiency of planning preparation because it is electronic-based and integrated with the centre and regions. However, there are several obstacles that need to be taken into account, such as effectiveness indicators not yet being met due to frequently changing legal bases, lack of regular outreach and training for human resources, and limited infrastructure. Although this application is very helpful compared to manual methods, it still requires better adjustments and support in order to achieve optimal effectiveness according to Duncan's theory in Steers (2012).

Analysis and Design of Customer Service Information Systems at Bersaudara Car Repair Shop Of Pangkalpinang

Bersaudara Car Repair Shop of Pangkalpinang is a business that operates in the field of automotive services, specializing in car maintenance and repair. Currently, customer service data processing still uses a manual system with Microsoft Office tools. In its application, this application cannot support fast and easy work. This can have implications for service providers towards customers, because they often encounter obstacles in the process of handling repairs and making reports. The aim of this research is to provide a solution in forming a needs analysis and documented information system design which will be developed into an information system application at the brothers' car repair shop. Based on the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) concept, the initial thing needed to produce an information system is to create a needs analysis and documented system design. The system analysis and design carried out here goes through the stages of data collection, carrying out analysis using the PIECES (Performance, Information, Economic, Control, Efficiency, Service) framework and carrying out system design using an object-oriented approach using UML (Unified Modeling Language) notation. The results of the analysis and design were tested in the form of a design evaluation using the consistency analysis method which was proven to have a consistent percentage value of 100%. The results of this design are included in the correctness category which proves that the system requirements and system design are consistent and correct.

Estimation of potential carbon sequestration in Thai reforestation from mining, based on the integrated spatial analysis

Mining, an activity that dates to the earliest stages of human civilization, has played a vital role in fulfilling human requirements for an extended period of time. Nevertheless, it is worth noting that this particular activity accounts for a significant proportion, ranging from 4% to 7% of the overall world greenhouse gas emissions. These emissions mostly consist of carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrogen oxides, which are released because of fuel burning, on-site energy generation, and many other sources. The mining industry, as a constituent of industrial process and product use (IPPU) sector in Thailand, makes a substantial contribution to these emissions. Thailand is now engaged in the implementation of carbon sequestration strategies, specifically focusing on the reclamation and replanting of post-mining zones. This initiative aims to tackle the various issues associated with small-scale operations within the country’s mining sector. The objective of this study is to analyse the carbon sequestration potential of Thailand’s mining area through the utilization of satellite pictures obtained from LANDSAT 8 OLI and Geographic Information System (GIS) applications. This study assesses the present carbon storage capacity, establishes the appropriate carbon pricing, and investigates the potential for reforestation in mining areas inside the nation. Based on the findings, it is evident that the northern region of Thailand has the most substantial potential for carbon sequestration, mostly due to the presence of vegetated land. Furthermore, it is projected that the overall carbon sequestration capacity in Thailand will amount to 14.68 MtCO2e in 2023 and 28.02 MtCO2e in 2030.

DESIGN OF INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR PAYMENT OF WORKERS' WAGES AND PREPARATION OF FINANCIAL REPORTS ON GARMENT UD KELAMBI ANYAR

Information technology developments are beneficial to businesses worldwide, particularly in Indonesia. Businesses that use information technology effectively can store and manage data, expedite business operations, and manage data. Information systems used in accounting are one area where technology is crucial. The purpose of this project is to develop and construct an information system application for the UD Kelambi Anyar clothing firm that will be used for financial report preparation and worker salary payment. For worker salaries, this company historically used manual records, which presented a number of challenges including the possibility of errors, information delays, and difficulty in finding data. This application was developed using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach using the Waterfall paradigm. Planning, analyzing, designing, implementing, testing, and implementing are the stages of system development. Microsoft Access 2019 was used to create the database for this application, while Visual Basic Applications (VBA) was used to write the code. An information system application that facilitates the recording of worker service payments and the preparation of financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets, is the outcome of this research project for UD Kelambi Anyar. In addition to a filter menu to make data searching for employee salary reports easier, this program has a username and password feature to ensure user security. It is envisaged that using this application will improve the financial transaction process' accuracy and efficiency and speed up the process of making management choices.

Analysis and Design of Breeding Management Information System in Poultry Farms

Breeding management is indispensable in business development in the field of poultry farming where companies are required to keep up with the development of the digitalization era. Companies must be able to take advantage of opportunities in advances in information technology in obtaining accurate, fast and reliable information so that management can make decisions. PT. Peternakan Ayam Manggis has been using manual methods in recording the results of production or the process of breeding chicken farms. in making records using office software, namely excel, so that errors often occur and are often not realtime in making records. Records generated by poultry production include depletion, quarantine, culling, feed and egg production. in processing data generated manually can make it difficult for management to make decisions. The purpose of this research is to design an application that can be used by companies to obtain information during the breeding process.The research method in developing this application uses waterfall and design role analysis with data collection and using UML modeling. This information system application produces information about Breeding management including depletion, quarantine, feed, egg production, movement of chickens from one cage to another, culling. this information system application uses a database and application blackbox testing is carried out so that the application runs as needed.

Easy accessibility for schools, teachers, and students via internet-connected devices provides flexibility in management. This application undergoes usability testing in the implementation phase to ensure a friendly and functional interface. Evaluation via the System Usability Scale (SUS) is used to identify potential improvements. With this development, IDN Akhwat School is expected to increase the efficiency of graduation management, strengthen information transparency, and positively contribute to Islamic-based education.

Geostatistics and GIS as a Technique for Chemical Soil Properties Mapping

Soil properties play a fundamental role in agriculture, and understanding their spatial distribution is essential for effective land management and increasing agricultural productivity. This study focuses on the application of geostatistics and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) as techniques for mapping soil properties, in the case of the Mozambique Sugar cane company (ADM) in Mafambisse, in the province of Sofala, Mozambique. The central objective is to demonstrate how geostatistics and GIS can be used to characterize and map soil properties. The research was materialized using field surveys that estimated the pH in the field of several sampling points at different depths in the irrigated perimeter of the ADM. Geostatistics is applied, using methods such as kriging and variogram analysis, allowing the creation of continuous maps that represent soil properties in unsampled locations. GIS is an essential tool for integrating geostatistical data and creating accessible and informative maps. The results of this study indicate that the combination of geostatistics and GIS offers an effective approach for mapping soil properties. This knowledge is crucial for Mozambique sugar cane company, an important company in the sugar industry, to optimize its agricultural practices, increase productivity and minimize environmental impacts. Thus, offering solid bases for making informed and sustainable agricultural decisions, contributing to efficient agricultural development in Mozambique and other regions with similar challenges.

UTAUT Model Mediated by Government Information System to the Intention to Use of Indonesian Local Government

Purpose – This study investigates the role of the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) model on the intention to use mediated by the Government Information System. In the context of this study, the implementation of government information systems through the application of local government information systems (SIPD) in Regional Governments in Indonesia. Methodology/approach –The population in this study includes: Primary High Leadership Officials, Administrator Officers, Supervisory Officers, and SIPD Management ASNs in the Ministry of Home Affairs and local governments with a total sample of 358 respondents. This study uses a form of sampling in the form of purposive sampling and probability sampling, with the sampling technique used in the form of simple random. When viewed from the relationship between variables, this study is included in associative research. The data processing and analysis techniques used in this study were carried out through Descriptive Statistical Tests and Structural Equation Model (SEM). Findings – Based on the results of the study, it is known that Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, and Facilitating Condition, either directly or indirectly through the Government Information System as the variable that mediates it, have had an influence on the Intention To use SIPD application. Novelty/value – The novelty of this study fills the research gap by involving the role of the government information system (SIPD) as a mediating factor between performance expectations, effort expectations, social influences, and conditions that facilitate intention to use which is limited only to age and experience as control variables. Thus, a more comprehensive picture of the results of how the influence of factors in UTAUT is mediated by the role of SIPD, and see the extent to which the implications of implementing SIPD in local government can affect the intention to use by civil servants in Indonesia and as recommendations for related parties in developing government information systems.

Analysis of Regional Financial Constraints and Management

This research aims to identify the inhibiting factors affecting the sustainability of the innovation in the Electronic Financial Monitoring Information System (SiMOLEK) application at the Ministry of Home Affairs, particularly in the management of local finances and the evaluation process of accountability for the implementation of the Regional Budget. The study employs a qualitative descriptive approach, gathering data through observations and interviews with key informants who have authority, tasks, and functions related to the operation of SiMOLEK. The inhibiting factors analyzed are based on the results of studies conducted by Deloitte and KPMG, adjusted for relevance to the research object, including politics, lack of finance, leadership, technology, culture, and insufficient technical skills. The research findings indicate that the inhibiting factors causing the unsustainability of the SiMOLEK application innovation are politics, lack of finance, leadership, and technology.

ANALYSIS OF UI & UX DRIVER MOBILE SYSTEM USING HEURISTIC EVALUATION METHOD

In the 4.0 era, user interface and user experience are considered key factors in the development of digital products, especially mobile applications. The progress and performance of the application is facilitated by the user interface and user experience applied to the application. Apart from presenting an attractive application appearance, implementing a user interface and user experience for an application makes using the application easier. DMS Mobile is an information system application used by drivers which is an information system application that is easy to use for drivers to run their work activities smoothly. Testing the user interface and user experience with the user experience, in this case the driver, can be a reference for assessing the DMS Mobile application. In this user aspect approach, the researchers carried out an evaluation through a questionnaire which would be answered by respondents from PT drivers. From the research results that need to be improved, namely the criteria for User control and freedom and Flexibility and efficiency of use which still have minimal percentages. Identification of Groundwater Potential Based on Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems in The City of Padang

Water is a basic need for living creatures, including humans. The need for water can be obtained from various sources, including: rainwater, surface water, or groundwater. The estimated quantity and distribution of water on earth is 97% of the water on earth is in the sea and the remaining 1.7% is at the earth's poles in the form of ice, 1.7% is underground water and only 0.1% is as water. surface and atmosphere. Padang City still lacks clean water, because Padang City PDAM water often experiences problems. So many people use drilled wells or dug wells. Therefore, it is very necessary to identify groundwater in Padang City. Identification of Padang City's groundwater potential in this research uses Remote Sensing data and Geographic Information Systems. The Geographic Information System application is used to identify groundwater potential through overlaying a tiered quantitative method on the parameters of vegetation density, land cover, soil texture, rock type, rainfall and slope to obtain the distribution of groundwater potential. The results of this research are that the groundwater potential in Padang City consists of several classes, namely no potential, low, medium and high. Groundwater potential in Padang City is dominated by low groundwater potential covering an area of 37,369,903 Ha, medium area covering an area of 25,159,745 Ha, high potential covering an area of 7,493.06 Ha and no potential area covering an area of 113,030 Ha. Based on validation using data from 59 drilled wells in Padang City which was overlaid with a groundwater potential map for Padang City, it was found that 11 (18.65%) drilled wells were not suitable and 48 (81.35%) drilled wells were suitable.

Kaedah dan Kegunaan dalam Perlaksanaan Integrasi BIM-GIS dan Potensinya dalam Pengurusan Sistem Saliran: Satu Tinjauan

The ability of Geographic Information System (GIS) applications to manage three-dimensional (3D) data is increasing along with advancements in current technology, and this ability can be further enhanced through the integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology. While the combination of BIM and GIS technologies provides significant benefits to human life, there are several challenges and limitations that need to be addressed for successful implementation. Therefore, research on previous articles will be conducted to examine the challenges and potential of this integration. This paper will begin with searching for relevant previous articles using appropriate keywords on Web of Science and Scopus. The search will be conducted in two parts, articles related to BIM-GIS integration with keywords "BIM" AND "GIS," and articles concerning the usage of 3D data in GIS applications for drainage system management using keywords "GIS" AND "3D" AND "DRAINAGE." From these articles, observations will be made regarding (1) the structure of BIM-GIS integration data, (2) implemented integration methods, (3) utilization of integration models, and (4) the potential of BIM-GIS Integration in managing 3D drainage system data. The research identifies key challenges in BIM-GIS integration, including differences in class numbers, dissimilar class arrangement, geometry creation methods, and georeference system application. To address these challenges, standard protocols based on specific requirements need to be established by considering organizational needs to ensure a consistent integration process. The paper also recognizes significant potential in employing BIM-GIS integration for drainage system management.

User Centered Design in Analysis and Design of UI UX in the Simpeg Application of Dharmais Cancer Hospital

Dharmais Cancer Hospital as a health service facility that is experienced in its field, of course, has human resources which are important, so to support employee performance in terms of employee rights such as employee leave, media is needed that really supports employee needs. Through the employee support system, namely the Employee Information System (SIMPEG) application, several problems were found in terms of appearance and the proposal process as well as the leave recapitulation process which did not exist in the previous SIMPEG application. From the problems found in the Personnel Information System (SIMPEG), a User Centered Design (UCD) method is offered which places the Personnel Information System (SIMPEG) users as the main consideration for building a new system. In the design process there are three steps that are carried out starting from the initial stage, the development stage and the final stage, where at the initial stage testing is carried out using a questionnaire, the average result is 53 which means OK but still low or not good, after the development of the system is carried out and the distribution of questionnaires was carried out again, the results were 71, which means Good. With the design of a Personnel Information System (SIMPEG) using the User Centered Design (UCD) method, it produces a new User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design for the Personnel Information System (SIMPEG), which consists of a forgot password menu feature, leave recap and display easier to use for employees.
