Formative Evaluation of the Implementation of eHealth in the Philippines: A Qualitative Study.

The utilization of information and communications technology (ICT) to support health, known as eHealth, is a crucial enabler of universal healthcare. It is important to identify various aspects that could support or hinder eHealth, especially in limited-resource settings. This study determined the factors influencing the implementation of eHealth solutions in the Philippines, in consideration of the development process and initial outputs of the Philippine eHealth Strategic Framework and Plan 2014-2020. The descriptive-qualitative study was conducted among 15 municipalities/cities in the Philippines, recognized as early adopters of eHealth programs. Records review of eHealth solutions and key informant interviews among stakeholders (i.e., physicians and nurses) per study site were facilitated to gather data. Using directed content analysis, contextual, process, and content factors influencing eHealth implementation in the country were synthesized. Results showed a range of eHealth solutions in the selected facilities, majority of which involved electronic medical records. Various contextual, process, and content-related factors could serve as facilitators or barriers to eHealth implementation in the country. Particularly, contextual factors include individual characteristics (ICT experience/training, organizational commitment, readiness for change), perceived need/urgency for eHealth (provisions, policies, regulatory issues), and third-party involvement for financial/technical support. Meanwhile, process-related factors involve implementation team practices, appropriate top-down and bottom-up approaches in leader/member engagement, and resource management (ICT equipment, stable internet connection, power supply). Content-specific factors mainly include the eHealth design (complexity, adaptability to local context and service demands, interoperability or the capacity to connect or exchange information with other platforms/systems). Notably, limitations across the three dimensions could make eHealth implementation more complicated, which could lead to poor time management and resource wastage. This study highlighted the importance of a multidimensional understanding of factors that influence the utility of eHealth in the health system. There is a need for leadership and governance, stakeholder engagement, resource and funding, implementation readiness, appropriate design of eHealth solutions, and proper training to ensure the successful implementation of eHealth in the country.

육계농장유래 ICT-데이터의 분석을 통해 미생물의 정족수감지 (Quorum Sensing) 현상의 발견을 위한 연구

The current study obtained biometric data yielded by information and communication technology (ICT) equipment installed in the mobile phones of farmers from broiler farms and evaluated quorum sensing (QS) phenomenon (QSP), which can be considered as an emergency rescue request signal for chickens and the starting point of a disease. The results indicated that QSP was identified the most rapidly and sensitively during the analysis of digital data yielded by the ICT-equipped automatic feed feeder, followed by the water consumption data. In particular, in the data on daily feed consumption, QSP was identified to be the point where the consumption rapidly decreased by more than 100% compared with that on the previous day. It is believed that if farm owners responded to the QSP or chicken rescue signals and rapidly implemented disease prevention measures, then it would be the wisest field use of ICT data to minimize loss and damage to farms. In addition, the results of this study revealed the priority order of the introduction of ICT equipment. and the most urgent and important for farm management is daily feed consumption data by applying the scientifically based QS approach, for the first time, to our knowledge, in Korea. The results of this study uncovered the importance of installing ICT equipments.

Teachers’ Views on the Integration of Information and Communication Technology in the Teaching of Slovene (First Language) in Primary School

<p style="text-align:justify">Information and Communication Technology (ICT) brings modern learning approaches, forms and methods to education, and with them new opportunities for learning and teaching. The use of ICT in the classroom motivates students, enables them to participate, provides individualisation and differentiation, interactivity, and encourages creativity and critical thinking. Teachers play a very important role in this, as they are the ones who can provide students with a stimulating learning environment, including through the use of ICT. As Slovene (first language) is the subject with the most teaching hours in public primary schools in the Republic of Slovenia, we conducted an empirical study on the views of general and subject teachers of Slovene (N = 190) on the integration of information and communication technology in teaching. Teachers’ opinions were investigated through quantitative research. We found that teachers frequently use ICT in Slovene lessons, namely for repeating and consolidating learning material and for presenting new learning material, and that ICT is used most often in frontal forms of learning. Teachers mostly use LCD projectors, computers, interactive whiteboards, e-workbooks, audio recordings and videos. We also found that teachers are moderately satisfied with the available ICT equipment and e-materials, and that they feel moderately competent when it comes to using ICT in Slovene lessons. Teachers also used ICT during the COVID-19 epidemic. We also found that there are no statistically significant differences in the use of ICT between teachers teaching Slovene according to their teaching level, age and years of service.</p>

Method for Calculating the Avoided Impact of Specific Information and Communication Technology Services

Particular Information and Communication Technology (ICT) services can help avoid environmental impact in larger contexts. However, there is no commonly agreed bottom-up methodology for calculation of the total net reduction effect of specific digital ICT services. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a common denominator for most methodologies. The most common method is the Attributional LCA (ALCA), and recently the emerging handprint ALCA estimating so-called positive environmental impacts. Moreover, Consequential LCA (CLCA) can be used to capture market effects. The third conceptual approach is Input-Output LCA. The purpose is to propose and test a new method based on some of the existing ones. The existing concepts are compared and a synthesis is made to create a practical but still useful method. The new method is applied to two illustrative cases in the ICT domain; the introduction of a 5G enabled drone for pipe inspection and the 5G enabled health consultation. Compared to simplified ALCA, the difference between the absolute scores for the baseline system and the target system changes around 10% when the proposed simplified CLCA (SCLCA) method is used. The results show that SCLCA, when combined with analytical methods for expressing digital ICT services’ own impact, is a fruitful approach which is both practical and feasible. The new method includes formulae for calculating the total lifetime environmental impact of a specific ICT Equipment when reused or replaced.

Developing and designing the e-Bosy reservation system for ICT equipment

E-bosy booking system was designed as a reservation system for information and communications technology (ICT) equipment in Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK), Malaysia. Currently, all the reservation systems are done manually, through filling out the form or through email. Using this existing system faces numerous challenges, such as the absence of knowledge of available spaces, tediousness improper management of reservations, clashes in reservations, communication failures, and missing the submitted reservation form. Thus, the development and design of the e-Bosy system (electronic booking system) were intended to bring the efficiency and friendly user of reservation systems both at home and aboard. The system basic functions are designed according to the general requirement including user’s registration and login, online equipment booking, personal center, centrege board and database construction. Through e-BoSy the system, every reservation has been recorded for the future improvement of the services.

Survey and analysis of national standardization trends for smart farm ICT equipment

The rapid advancement of information and communication technology (ICT) has significantly transformed the agricultural sector, giving rise to the concept of smart farming. Smart farming involves the integration of various ICT equipment and technologies to enhance agricultural practices, improve productivity, and ensure sustainable resource utilization. As smart farming gains momentum, the need for standardized practices and equipment becomes crucial to ensure interoperability, reliability, and widespread adoption. This paper presents a comprehensive survey and analysis of national standardization trends for smart farm ICT equipment in smart farming. It introduces the standardization trends, smart farm ICT equipment national standard diffusion support project, and evaluation of testing ICT equipments. Additionally, it highlights the necessity and consequences of ensuring interoperability for ICT equipment in smart farming. Furthermore, the paper explores the challenges and opportunities associated with smart farm ICT equipment standardization. Challenges include reconciling diverse technical requirements, addressing security and privacy concerns, and maintaining adaptability to evolving technological landscapes. On the other hand, standardization offers the opportunity to accelerate innovation, enable market growth, and establish a foundation for sustainable agricultural practices.

Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) For E-Learning in Tertiary Education in Sri Lanka: A Study of Undergraduates from State Universities in Colombo District

E- learning was introduced to tertiary education during the Covid 19 Pandemic. Therefore, the study aimed to investigate the opportunities and challenges faced by undergraduates in state universities in Colombo District in relation to e-learning. Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) was used as the main theoretical framework and the qualitative approach was applied through interviews and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs). Data were collected from all state universities in Colombo district using purposive sampling. The results showed that the majority of undergraduates have a positive attitude towards e- learning. Because e-learning is timesaving, convenient and cost-saving during the pandemic and socio-economic issues in the country such as fuel issues, power cuts etc. On the other hand, the undergraduates faced some challenges in e- learning such as a lack of ICT tools and equipment, connectivity issues, the cost of data, background noises, a lack of interaction with peers and teachers, health issues such as eye issues, anxiety etc. The results showed that the challenges of e-learning mainly occur due to the issues connected to ICTs. Therefore, the responsible authorities should take proper measures to provide adequate ICT infrastructure and resources for students to have a convenient and flexible e- learning system. In this context, it is also important that the state universities make the arrangements to have flexible learning for undergraduates. Therefore, hybrid learning allows undergraduates to attend traditional face to face sessions while also attending online classes, reducing transport issues, expenses, optimizing ICT infrastructure and resource utilization.

Integration of information and communication technology in emergency medical services: The Chungbuk Smart Emergency Service Project

Background: The lack of healthcare providers and financial resources in medically vulnerable areas results in reduced access to timely emergency care, leading to higher mortality rates. Utilizing information and communication technology (ICT) in the emergency medical services (EMS) system can potentially reduce health disparities and supplement the shortage of medical personnel. This study introduces the Chungbuk Smart Emergency Medical Service Project to improve EMS in Chungbuk province using ICT.Current Concepts: To improve regional EMS, the Chungbuk EMS Collaboration Committee initiated an ICT-EMS project that incorporates an algorithm-based patient triage system and real-time hospital selection for patient transfers. This initiative is funded by the Smart City Challenge project, which fosters a more comprehensive EMS system by promoting collaboration among local government agencies, local hospitals, and fire headquarters. The system allows the sharing of patients’ information from the notification stage through hospital transfer, thus ensuring efficient treatment and seamless communication between paramedics and health care providers.Discussion and Conclusion: Effective use of ICT for information sharing and coordination during EMS, from ambulance dispatch to hospital treatment, is essential for improving regional EMS. Clear communication, cooperation, and well-defined roles are necessary for the efficient use of ICT by emergency healthcare providers. Making healthcare providers understand the purpose of ICT equipment is crucial for its successful implementation. Verification of the effectiveness of ICT-based EMS improvement projects will lead to their global expansion, besides benefitting domestic EMS.

A study on the readiness and attitudes of Sri Lankan Tamil medium teachers towards the use of ICT in teaching and learning

Information and communication technology (ICT) in education refers to the utilization of information and communications technology to support, enhance, and optimize the delivery of information within the educational field. As the global landscape continues to expand, the significance of incorporating ICT in education has grown exponentially. It is crucial for teachers to possess the ability to employ ICT effectively in order to integrate their students' learning experiences and adequately prepare them for the challenges they will face in the future. While the integration of ICT in education offers benefits such as the creation of effective lessons, classroom management, and improved stakeholder communication, its successful implementation hinges upon teachers' possession of the requisite skills, knowledge, and willingness. The objective of this study is to evaluate the attitudes and preparedness of Tamil medium teachers in Sri Lanka with regard to their utilization of ICT in teaching and learning. Various previous studies have examined the use of ICT in education, encompassing investigations into teachers' attitudes and integration of ICT, training in International Computer Driving License (ICDL), and factors that influence teachers' adoption of ICT. However, this study focuses specifically on the readiness of Tamil medium teachers in Sri Lanka, an area that has yet to be thoroughly explored in previous research. A survey was conducted among 400 teachers, revealing that the majority exhibited a positive outlook toward the adoption of ICT and displayed a willingness to incorporate it into their teaching and learning processes. Nevertheless, teachers encountered difficulties when attempting to integrate ICT due to the economic crisis prevailing in the country. Consequently, it is imperative for the government and pertinent authorities to ensure the accessibility of affordable ICT equipment for both teachers and students. This study emphasizes the significance of assessing teachers' readiness and attitudes toward the implementation of ICT in their teaching and learning practices in order to ensure its successful integration.

Utilization of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) for Managing Students’ Academic Records in Nigerian Schools

This study examined the utilization of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for managing students’ academic records in Nigerian schools. A descriptive survey method was used for the study. The population of the study comprises 131 teachers in selected secondary schools in Kogi. The multi-stage sampling procedure was adopted to select 97 teachers, both male and female as samples in six (6) secondary schools in the three districts of Kogi State. Five (5) research questions guided the study. Percentile rank and mean scores were used as statistical tools for data analysis. The findings revealed that ICT facilities available for managing students’ records in the school include computers, printers, handsets, photocopiers, and diskettes, among others. The study found that insufficient knowledge and skills on how to operate ICT equipment, ignorance of the advantages of ICT devices, principals' reluctance to use ICT gadgets, inadequate physical facilities/equipment, sporadic disruption of electricity supply and inadequate funds to provide ICT devices were challenges in using ICT to manage students’ academic records in the secondary schools under study. The study, among others, recommended that school teachers and principals should be trained in the use of the latest information technologies and gadgets to be effective and efficient in their performances. Also, Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) should be incorporated into the school curriculum, especially at the secondary school level and the government should put in place power plants in every secondary school in order to solve the issue of disruption in power supply.

Application of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Agriculture: A Case of Women Farmers in Sri Lanka

Summary The role of women in the growth and development of agriculture in Sri Lanka has been increasing considerably. However, inadequate attention has been devoted to the use of information and communication technology (ICT) by Sri Lankan women farmers. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore the application of ICT in agriculture by women farmers in the Imbulpe Divisional Secretariat (DS) Division in Sri Lanka. The primary data used in the study were collected from a total of 230 women farmers in the study area from March to July 2019, using a pre-tested, self-administered questionnaire survey. Moreover, focus group discussions and participatory observations were also conducted. The results obtained indicate that the majority of the women farmers considered were middle-aged and married, belonging to families with 4-6 members. Most of them had received education up to a junior secondary level. Their monthly total average income was 24,000 LKR. The below mentioned ICT equipment were commonly used by the women farmers for agricultural purposes: television (51.5%), the radio (43.9%) and mobile phones (52.1%). The use of personal computers, the internet and CD/DVDs was at lower levels. Although they were found to use ICT mostly for day-to-day activities, the application of ICT in their agricultural activities was fairly low. However, most of them expressed the desire to learn about ICT. According to the regression analysis conducted, a positive and statistically significant relationship was established between the farm size and respondents’ ICT literacy. Furthermore, a positive and moderately significant relationship was found between the respondents’ educational level and ICT use. High initial costs and the lack of comprehensive knowledge about ICT equipment maintenance were the major challenges they had encountered. Admittedly, as the women farmers considered apply ICT to a certain level, their use of ICT in agriculture should be further enhanced. Therefore, supplying useful ICT equipment to Sri Lankan women farmers at concession prices, accompanied by an awareness program on the use and maintenance of such equipment, would be highly beneficial.

An Analysis on the Effectiveness of ICT Integration In Learning in Higher Education Institutions in Covid-19 Era

ICT is utilized extensively in education for several reasons, one of which is that it improves the effectiveness of teaching techniques for both teachers and pupils. ICT integration in education is most often used to describe a technologically oriented teaching and learning process that is closely related to the usage of educational resources in classrooms. Even in the face of unforeseen setbacks like the Covid-19 epidemic, teaching and learning may go on using information and communication technologies (ICT). Instead of being completed in a single phase, ICT adoption is a continuous process that fully supports teaching, learning, and information resources. The purpose of this study was to determine how ICT integration impacted classroom instruction in higher education institutions in light of the Covid-19 outbreak. For this inquiry, a mixed-methods methodology was employed. Data were gathered from both primary and supporting sources. The legitimacy and validity of this study were guaranteed by its quantitative methodology, which provided a clear picture of how ICT integration has helped higher education institutions throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. 207 out of the 225 individuals in the study's sample returned their questionnaires, giving it a 92% response rate. The findings show how ICT integration is highly advantageous for both teachers and students. Teachers who are well-prepared with ICT tools and resources are one of the critical components in the success of technology-based teaching and learning, according to study. According to the results, 50% of respondents thought ICT was very effective, giving it a grade of 75%; 34.4% gave it a rating of 50%; and 15.6% gave it a rating of 25%. Less users accessing the online learning, a lack of ICT resources (9.4%), a lack of internet connections (28.1%), and a lack of online teaching resources (12.5%) were among the challenges faced by 50% of the participants. The researcher's findings indicate that for teachers and students to get the most from ICT adoption, the first phase must be effective. The researchers recommend that the ICT infrastructure at the universities be updated. Plans for addressing any economic issues that colleges and universities may be facing should be developed by the management. ICT equipment may be exempted from taxation or subject to reduced taxation under certain policies, increasing accessibility. Government incentives could also be provided to service providers to increase the scope of their network.

In-Service Science Teacher’s Perceptions Towards the Use of Information Communication Technology Tools in Teaching and Learning in a COVID-19 Environment

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) have been growing incredibly for the past twenty years in most sectors; however, much needs to be achieved within the education fraternity itself. Teachers are still relying on traditional teaching methods and Botswana is currently far behind in benefiting from ICT usage in the classroom. This study critically analysed the ICT infrastructure found in Botswana’s secondary schools, assesses teachers’ skills, knowledge, confidence, and their perception of the integration of ICT in teaching and learning. A mixed-methods approach was used to collect data from 350 respondents. The results revealed that ICT use and integration in Botswana secondary schools during the Covid – 19 period posed some challenges even though it was beneficial to an extent where there was learner academic improvement. This has been influenced by factors such as lack of skills, lack of confidence in the use of technology by teachers, and lack of ICT equipment in schools. The study recommends that schools should be equipped with the relevant ICT infrastructures, have adequate resources, and that facilitators should be trained on the right pedagogies and use of ICT in teaching and learning. Furthermore, curriculum developers should integrate ICT teaching in subject areas. The findings of this study will contribute to the correct pedagogies and best practices of teaching, and how issues teachers found in technology use can be solved and addressed amicably for the benefit of the greater masses. The educational stakeholders can make use of these findings to improve knowledge and attitudes toward the successful adoption and implementation of information and communication technologies in teaching and learning during the pandemic. The impact of digitalization on the Russian economy

Subject. This article discusses the development of digital technologies and their impact on workforce productivity and economic growth in Russia. Objectives. The article aims to assess the impact of digital technologies on labor productivity and economic growth in Russia. Methods. For the study, I used regression estimation using the two-stage least squares method. Expenditures on information and communication technologies (ICT) and investments in assets for the acquisition of ICT equipment were used as baseline variables. The Rosstat, Bank of Russia, World Bank, and the International Data Corporation data have been considered. Results. The article presents the results of an assessment of the impact of ICT development on labor productivity and economic growth in Russia. Conclusions and Relevance. The article establishes the positive impact of growth in spending and investment in ICT on labor productivity and economic growth in Russia. The hypothesis of a positive impact of ICT infrastructure development on these indicators is not confirmed. The results of the study can be used by market participants and public authorities when making decisions on investing in the ICT sector.

Are We Ready For Online Teaching And Learning? Lecturers’ Perception at One State University in Zimbabwe

This study sought to examine how lecturers perceive the readiness of using Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in teaching and learning by higher education institutions in Zimbabwe during the global outbreak of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. The qualitative paradigm underpinned by the descriptive survey design was employed to provide an accurate description of the variables in the problem model. A sample of 30 participants was drawn from one purposively selected university. Online questionnaires and interviews were used for data collection due to restricted movement. The results indicated that, despite all the investments in ICT infrastructure, equipment and professional development to improve education globally, ICT readiness is a challenge in teaching and learning. This study revealed that individual, institutional and technological factors contributed to the use of technology during teaching and learning processes. The study concludes that for successful transition to e-learning, lecturers must perceive the technology as better than previous practice; consistent with their existing values, past experiences and needs; and ease to use. The study recommends that lecturers need to maintain a positive attitude towards the use of technology to easily provide useful insight into the advantages of embracing it in their teaching.

Risk management in innovative pedagogical classrooms

The purpose of risk management is to protect the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) equipment against possible internal and external security breaches. The risk assessment worked with the technique of documentary analysis regarding the risks associated with the installation and equipment of the AIP, also used the survey to collect information through a virtual questionnaire, which was applied to teachers' DAIP in order that they can assess the risk management in relation to the sustainability of ICT equipment. This information made it possible to propose a plan, as well as an evaluation of the computer assets in secure areas and equipment security, obtaining high and very high-risk levels that compromise the functionality of the ICT infrastructure and consequently harm the educational service, so prevention measures were proposed to mitigate the adverse effects.

Understanding the energy consumption of information and communications equipment: A case study of schools in Taiwan

Information and communications technology (ICT) equipment is often used to help conserve energy, but such equipment also requires energy to operate. This study investigated the energy consumption of ICT in 28 secondary schools (SSs) and 98 elementary schools (ESs) in Taiwan. The average annual energy consumption of ICT equipment is 28,162 kWh and 20,888 kWh per SS and ES, respectively; per unit floor area, this is estimated to be 60.5 and 27.5 Wh/m2/year, respectively. ICT accounted for 7.3%–7.7% of the total energy consumption of each school. Projection, computer, and network equipment together account for more than 90% of the total electricity consumed by ICT equipment. The total energy consumption of ICT equipment is positively correlated with school type and size. The study established three multiple regression models to investigate the total energy consumption of ICT equipment per school, per class, and per student, and the models all exhibited statistical significance. The energy consumption is highly correlated with usage time and power dissipation. Equipment procurement and energy consumption management play key roles in the energy conservation. This study may serve as references for school administrators evaluating energy conservation effectiveness.

Impacts of Digital Technologies for the Provision of Energy Market Services on the Safety of Residents and Consumers

Our paper tackles the topic of the digital technologies (represented by the information and communication technologies (ICT)) and the sustainable transformation and energy safety in households represented by the smart homes and the traditional households using smart appliances, gadgets, as well as smart meters connected to the Internet. The rapid growth and adoption of information and communication technologies, such as computers, mobile devices, sensors, and networks, can seriously affect the ways and amounts of energy used by society on its path toward sustainable development. There is a growing interest in characterizing the net energy impact of ICT as well as the Internet of Things (IoT) that arises from indirect effects that offset (or amplify) the energy directly consumed by ICT equipment. However, the society might need some time to build the trust in these new digital technologies and develop the wide social acceptance for their usage. In order to test these assumptions, we employ an empirical econometric model based on the data obtained from the online survey carried out with the randomly selected respondents (N = 523) from Russian Federation and the four European Union (EU) countries (Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, and Slovakia). Even with regard to the small size of the sample and thence the limitations stemming from that fact, our results demonstrate that familiarity with smart home technologies and the possibility to alter the tariffs and use flexible energy demand increase the safety of residents and consumers. In addition, it appears that energy efficiency is being rewarded, as energy consumption is sensitive to time constraints on supply. Furthermore, we find that respondents’ age (43% of the respondents belonged to the 36–55 age group), positive attitude to smart home technologies and the possibility to exploit the flexibility of demand offered by the variety of energy tariffs during and off-peaks all yield quite strong and positive relationships and correlations with the willingness to accept the smart home technology and the flexibility of demand. At the same time, concerns over personal security or sharing personal data related to energy consumption do not constitute major concerns for the respondents. Our results have some important impacts on the overall strategy for pursuing sustainable economic development and following the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that might be useful for stakeholders and policymakers as well as for the researchers in this field.

Data characteristics aware prediction model for power consumption of data center servers

SummaryDue to the rapid increase in the number and scale of data centers, the information and communication technology (ICT) equipment in data centers consumes an enormous amount of power. A power prediction model is therefore essential for decision‐making optimization and power management of ICT equipment. However, it is difficult to predict the power consumption of data centers accurately due to the complex power patterns and nonlinear interdependencies among components. Existing methods either rely on standard formulas, or simply treat it as time series, both leading to poor power prediction accuracy. To overcome those limitations, in this article, we present a systematic power prediction framework called characteristic aware attention‐augmented deep learning‐based prediction method. In particular, we first analyze the different power consumption series to illustrate their different temporal characteristics. Second, we perform different data processing for the corresponding characteristics of power series samples. Third, we propose an accurate and efficient neural network model to predict future power consumption with the pretreated data. The experimental results show that the proposed model is able to achieve superior prediction accuracy.

Educational Effect of “Measurement of Light Spectrum” by Using a Tablet Device

The possibility of using tablet devices is increasing as ICT (Information and Communication Technology) equipment. Tablet devices can also enhance a learning effect on students. For this reason, we introduced an experiment named “Measurement of Light Spectrum” in “Experiments in Physics” at Kagoshima KOSEN. The new experiment requires tablet devices and enables the students to understand the light spectrum. They operate a spectrophotometer with tablet devices and measure light spectrum of various light sources. They find characteristics of the light spectrums while viewing and operating tablet devices. Our follow-up survey after the experiment showed that most of the students were satisfied with the experiment. We also confirmed that it can increase the level of students’ understanding of the light spectrum.
