The Effect of Strategic Management and Principal’s Competency on Teacher’s Teaching Quality

The low quality of education in Indonesia is caused by the low competence of educators. To improve the teaching and learning process, teachers must be responsible and accountable. The school principal’s strategic management values can also contribute to educational improvement. The principal’s role includes planning, organizing, mobilizing, and evaluating resources to achieve the school’s vision, mission, and goals. The researchers’ study regarding the influence of strategic management and principal competence on the quality of teaching at SMPIT in Prabumulih City is quite interesting. This research examines the impact of principal strategic management, principal competence, and teacher teaching quality at Prabumulih City SMPIT schools, specifically SMPIT Ishlahul Ummah and SMPIT Al Hasanah. The study uses a census sample of 53 teachers, utilizing questionnaires, observation, and documentation methods to gather data. The research reveals that strategic management significantly influences the teaching quality of teachers at SMPIT in Prabumulih City, while the school principal’s competency significantly impacts the teaching quality. The combined effect of these two factors is 78%, with 22% influenced by other variables.

AbstractThis paper argues an important aspect of Human Resources (HR) as an occupation has been largely overlooked by mainstream and critical scholars alike: its gendered qualities. Gender is ‘hiding in plain sight’ in the sense that its high concentration of women is obvious but has attracted only sporadic academic commentary. We suggest rather than simply a ‘feminised’ area of management, contemporary HR is a complex mix of both masculine‐coded and feminine‐coded values, priorities and norms derived from earlier traditions of welfare and personnel management as well as the later influence of strategic management. Attention to this gendered complexity can help us understand how the HR occupation is experienced in everyday interactions and provide an alternative perspective that enriches Critical Human Resource Management.

The Role of Strategic Management in Improving the Quality of Accounting Information Systems at Insurance Compenies in Indonesia

This study aims to test the role of strategic management in improving the quality of accounting information system. Subject of this research is an insurance company in Indonesia with the number of samples of 35 insurance companies. Sample is an insurance companies consisting of life insurance companies, general insurance companies and state-owned insurance companies in Indonesia are listed in Financial Services Authority The results of statistical tests show that the influence of strategic management on the quality of accounting information systems is significant. Thus it is concluded that the Strategic Management affect the quality of accounting information systems. Implementation of Strategic management in improving the quality of accounting information systems can be done by adopting changes in policies and rules both coming from internal and external environment. Furthermore, information systems can describe the mission and support the organization's goals to achieve competitive advantage The research of strategic management on accounting information systems in insurance companies has not been much studied and currently still requires in-depth study on the role of strategic management on the quality of accounting information systems. With different times and places make this research different research instruments with indicators that match the phenomenon that occurs today so that it can answer the problems that occur. The impact of strategic management on the development of the Integrated Service Point to support competitiveness in the conditions of globalization

Research background: The priorities of informatization cover a wide range of areas that need to be constantly addressed in the business sphere in the period of globalization. Optimization and automation of public administration processes together with the priority of categorization of services according to life situations ensures a qualitative change in the provision of public administration services. The paper deals with the influence of strategic management on the development of the Integrated Service Point to support the competitiveness of the national postal operator as a strategic partner of e-Government in the conditions of globalization. Purpose of the article: It is the implementation of primary research, which is focused on finding out the impact of strategic management on the development of ISP. The research is focused on potential new services that would be welcomed by customers - citizens of the Žilina self-governing region at the ISP workplace operated by Slovak Post. As part of the development of strategic management at Slovak Post, the acceptance of new services at the ISP workplace may lead to higher customer satisfaction and the acquisition of new potential customers and thus to the promotion of competitiveness in the conditions of globalization. Methods: The article uses methods such as excerpting, analysis of the current state, statistical methods, primary research, induction, deduction, etc. Findings & Value added: The output of the research is the creation of a proposal for a technological process that customers would welcome as a new ISP service of Slovak Post to support competitiveness in the development of e-Government in the conditions of globalization.

PERSONNEL MARKETING AS A COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE OF THE INNOVATIVE ENTERPRISE: STRATEGIC ASPECT

The article is devoted to the study of the role of personnel marketing in the formation of the competitive position of the innovative enterprise in the process of strategic management. The terms “personnel marketing” and “compensation policy” are defined. Personnel marketing is defined as a type of management activity aimed at long-term provision of the organization with human resources that form the strategic potential necessary to achieve its specific target priorities. Compensation policy is defined as a system of external incentives that encourage the employee to get a result that satisfies both the employee and the company. The concept of “strategic activity” is also given, which is defined as the ability of staff to implement strategic objectives, the ability to feel an integral part of the innovative enterprise, think analytically, respond quickly to change, effectively and timely decision-making. It is proved that the construction of any approach to personnel marketing in the process of strategic management begins with the formation of the main goals, which must be clear, positive and consistent. It is established that to promote the efficiency of personnel marketing, strengthen the competitive position of the innovative enterprise and the effectiveness of the strategy of the enterprise as a whole, will promote the use of a process approach, the tasks of which include improving quality, improving efficiency and providing new opportunities for development and optimization of the organizational structure of the innovative enterprise. The influence of strategic management and personnel marketing on the formation of competitive advantages of the innovative enterprise is schematically presented. The relevance of further research in the field of personnel marketing in the innovative enterprise is argued.

Effect of Strategic Management on the Development of Entrepreneurial Competency in Nigeria

This article determined the effect that strategic management has on the development of entrepreneurial competence in Nigeria. It also examined the influence of strategic management on competitive advantage, development and advancement of entrepreneurial competencies in Organizations. This study made use of survey research design. The population consists of forty (40) managers of small and medium sized enterprises operating in Abuja Nigeria. Simple random sampling techniques was employed. The study made use of primary source of data through distribution of questionnaire, using a five-point likert scale. Pearson Product Moment Correlation was used to test hypotheses, with the help of Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS 20.1). In conclusion, the strategic management of an organization therefore can result in the positive advancement of entrepreneurial competencies if is appropriately implemented. Organizations that witnessed a positive implication of strategic management on the development and advancement of entrepreneurial competence are those who offered training centered on the acquisition of entrepreneurial competencies. The results showed that strategic management significantly enhance competitive advantage, there is significant relationship between strategic management and development of entrepreneurial competencies in Nigeria and strategic management significantly enhance advancement of entrepreneurial competencies in Organizations. The study therefore recommended amongst others that organizations should invest in training of their employees, as the human resource is an important internal strength of every organization and are therefore a source of competitive advantage for the firm and organizations should involve professional in their strategic management processes to increase the level of development and advancement of entrepreneurial competencies in Organizations. Strategic Management in the Relationship between Competitiveness and Organizational Performance in MSMES of the Service Sector in Mexico

The objective of this research is to analyze the influence of strategic management on competitiveness and organizational performance, an issue that is present in micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the food and beverage preparation industry of the service sector. The study sample was of 200 Mexican organizations from Ciudad Obregón, Sonora. The results indicated that strategic management has a positive, direct and significant effect on competitiveness. The results that were obtained by means of linear regression analysis make it possible to assert that the interaction between both variables (strategic management and competitiveness) establishes significant differences in the levels of organizational performance. It was concluded that the enhancement of strategic management contributes to the increase in organizational performance. Therefore, a joint intervention must take place on strategic management and competitiveness.
