Pengaruh Gaya Kepemimpinan, Karakteristik Individu dan Motivasi Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan CV Adi Farm Mlonggo Jepara

This research aims to analyze the influence of leadership style, individual characteristics and motivation on employee performance. The population in this study was 170 employees of CV Adi Farm Mlonggo Jepara. The sampling technique in this research used purposive sampling with the criteria of respondents being permanent employees who had a minimum work period of 1 year. The number of samples in this study was 80 respondents using Roscoe's theory. The data analyzed is primary data with data collection methods through questionnaires distributed to respondents. The data processing results obtained in this research include respondent descriptions, variable descriptions, validity tests, reliability tests, F tests, coefficient of determination tests (R²) and hypothesis tests. The results of this study show that leadership style has no effect on employee performance, individual characteristics have a negative and significant effect on employee performance and motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Pengaruh Motivasi, Kompensasi Kerja, dan Disiplin Kerja, terhadap Kinerja Karyawan: Studi PDAM Titra Moedal Kota Semarang

This research aims to examine the influence of motivation, work compensation, and work discipline on employee performance. This research was conducted at PDAM Tirta Moedal, Semarang City using employees as samples. In determining the sample, this study used the Slovin formula to determine the sample size. Test the validity of the data using factor analysis. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS version 23 software. The research results showed that motivation had a positive and significant influence on employee performance, work compensation also played a role in influencing employee performance, apart from that work discipline had a positive and significant influence on employee performance. This research makes contributions both theoretically and practically.

STUDI KAUSALITAS MOTIVASI DAN DISIPLIN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN BANK MUAMALAT KCU FATMAWATI

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of work motivation and discipline on employee performance at PT Bank Muamalat KCU Fatmawati partially and simultaneously. The method used is descriptive quantitative. The sampling technique uses a saturated sampling technique from a population of 60 as samples. The method used to test and analyze the influence partially and simultaneously uses hypothesis testing (t test and f test). This study investigates the significant impact of work discipline and work motivation on employee performance. Data analysis reveals that work discipline has a substantial influence on performance, with a contribution value of 0.933. This suggests that adherence to rules and punctuality play a crucial role in enhancing employee output, as supported by reinforcement theory and time management principles. Additionally, work motivation shows a significant effect on performance, with a contribution value of 0.672, highlighting the importance of intrinsic motivation factors, such as achievement and recognition, in driving employees to excel. The findings underscore the need for a comprehensive approach in performance management, emphasizing both the establishment of strong disciplinary practices and the cultivation of high motivation levels to optimize employee performance.

EXPLORING BANDUNG CITY ON FOOT: WHAT MOTIVATES TOURISTS TO JOIN WALKING TOURS?

Walking is a practical and popular tourist activity, but it remains underexplored in the field of tourism. Although extensive literature has been published on topics related to walking and walkability driven by public health, sustainability, livability, and urban design concerns, tourism sector requires deeper exploration, particularly in urban settings. Walking tourism has been observed to possess the capability to promote sustainable tourism. Therefore, this study aims to examine the influence of motivation on the decision of tourists to engage in walking tour in urban tourism areas of Bandung City, Indonesia. Data from 220 tourists and interviews with resource persons were subsequently analysed using multiple linear regression to assess the impact of push and pull factors on walking tourism decisions. The results showed that tourist motivation significantly influences walking tourism decisions. The motivating factors include physical health, pleasure and satisfaction, knowledge gained, and local community behaviour. Physical health and relaxation were considered crucial push factors, while tourists’ attractions and social media promotions were categorized as significant pull factors. This study provides valuable input for local governments and tourism agencies seeking to develop sustainable urban tourism destinations.

The Influence of Motivation and Supervision on Work Discipline of Afdeling III PT Employees. Tasma Puja Kebun Sei. Kuamang, Kampar Regency

This research aims to analyze the influence of motivation and supervision on the work discipline of PT Division III employees. Tasma Puja Kebun Sei Kuamang Kampar Regency. The research method used is quantitative. The sample for this research was 91 respondents, with data collection techniques using questionnaires. The data obtained was analyzed through linear regression analysis with the SPSS program. The research results show; (1) There is an influence of motivation on the work discipline of Afeling III PT employees. Tasma Puja Kebu Sei Kuamang Kampar Regency. The calculated t value t table or 9.677 t table 1986 was obtained and the significance was 0.000 0.05. The results of simple linear regression analysis show that if motivation increases by 0.535, it will increase the work discipline of PT Division III employees. Tasma Puja Kebun Sei Kuamang Kampar Regency is 5,830 consistently. (2) There is an influence of supervision on the work discipline of Afdeling III PT employees. Tasma Puja Kebun Sei Kuamang Kampar Regency. The calculated t value t table or 9.474 t table 1986 was obtained and the significance was 0.000 0.05. The results of a simple regression analysis show that if supervision increases by 0.721 it will increase the work discipline of PT Division III employees. Tasma Puja Kebun Sei Kuamang Kampar Regency is 4,662 consistently. (3) There is an influence of motivation and supervision on the work discipline of Afdeling III PT employees. Tasma Puja Kebun Sei Kuamang Kampar Regency. From the results of the F test, the calculated f value f table is 56.675, which is greater than f table 3.10 and sig 0.000 0.05. The results of the coefficient of determination test show that motivation and supervision contribute to the work discipline of PT Afdeling III employees. Tasma Puja Kebun Sei Kuamang Kampar Regency was 56.3% while the remaining 43.7% was influenced by other variables not studied.

The Influence of Workload, Work Stress, and Work Motivation towards Five Moment Hand Hygiene Obedience for the Nurse in Muhammadiyah University Hospital Malang

Hand hygiene is crucial and should be practiced consistently. Nurses who work in hospitals must do five moments of hand washing. Washing hands will prevent the transmission of diseases and microorganisms. Nurses often experience workload and work stress, especially in inpatient rooms. Lack of nursing staff and fatigue are the main factors that trigger this. With nurses' workload and work stress in hospitals, there needs to be work motivation for nurses to live healthily by complying with the five moments of hand washing in hospitals. This study aims to determine the effect of workload, work stress, and work motivation on compliance with the five moments of hand hygiene. The design of this study used cross-sectional research with a group with only one measurement time. The population of this study consisted of nurses in the inpatient room at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang Hospital. The sample used total sampling, namely all 74 nurses who were already employees in the inpatient room of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang Hospital. The percentage result of the influence of workload (X1), work stress (X2), and work motivation (X3) on compliance with five-moment hand hygiene (Y) is 57.1% (Adj R square). In comparison, the remaining 42.9% is influenced by other independent variables that were not studied.

A Cross-Sectional analysis of factors affecting teacher’s work performance in China

China is a country renowned for its robust education system and one with the best education system in the world particularly in STEM education as reported by international assessments entities like PISA. The country is also known for adopting teachers’ centric education framework and recognizing their crucial role in shaping talents within the education system. Despite these, teachers face several obstacles while discharging their duties. These includes intense competition and pressure within the system which can result in student stress and neglect of holistic development. This study aims to explore challenges faced by teachers within the education system by both primary quantitative and secondary methods. It focuses on the influence of principal leadership, work culture and teacher motivation on teacher performance in Chinese schools which were found to have significant influence of performance. This provide guidance and suggestions for improving the quality of education in China.

THE IMPACT OF DISCIPLINE, MOTIVATION AND WORK ENVIRONMENT ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT BPJS KETENAGAKERJAAN REGIONAL OFFICE OF SOUTH SUMATRA AND BANGKA BELITUNG ISLANDS : A REVIEW

This study aims to analyze the influence of work discipline, work motivation, and work environment on employee performance at the Social Security Administration Agency for Employment in the South Sumatra Regional Office. The SmartPLS method was used for analysis involving 110 respondents as the research sample. The research findings indicate that work discipline does not have a significant effect on employee performance (p = 0.838), while work motivation has been proven to significantly influence performance (p = 0.002). However, the work environment does not exhibit a significant impact on employee performance (p = 0.217). This study provides important insights into understanding the factors affecting employee performance in the Social Security Administration Agency, serving as a basis for companies to improve the work environment conditions and employee motivation. Moreover, it offers guidance for further studies concerning other variables that may affect employee performance in different work environments.

The predictive effects of motivation, enjoyment, and self-efficacy on informal digital learning of LOTE: Evidence from French and German learners in China

This article highlights the prevalent bias on global English in the existing informal digital language learning (IDLL) research and draws attention to informal digital learning of language other than English (IDL-LOTE) as a highly under-researched area in computer-assisted language learning. Recognizing how motivation, enjoyment, and self-efficacy serve as three crucial individual differences factors in second language (L2) development, the study sets out to examine the predictive effects of the three variables on IDL-LOTE. Drawing upon questionnaire data collected from 862 Chinese university students learning French or German as their LOTE, a structural equation modeling analysis was conducted. Our findings highlight that 1) promotion-focused motivation, enjoyment, and self-efficacy can significantly and directly influence IDL-LOTE, but prevention-focused motivation fails to generate such a direct impact; 2) enjoyment and self-efficacy can respectively act as a full mediator in the indirect effect of prevention-focused motivation on IDL-LOTE, and they can also partially channel the indirect influence of promotion-focused motivation on IDL-LOTE; 3) the specific language being learned (i.e., French or German) does not moderate the predictive effects of motivation, enjoyment, and self-efficacy on IDL-LOTE. These findings enable us to propose pedagogical implications and point out future research directions to advance the agenda of IDLL.

The Impact of Leadership, Work Motivation and Work Environment on Employee Performance at XYZ Resto

This study aims to analyze leadership, work motivation, work environment and employee performance at XYZ Resto; to analyze the influence of leadership, work motivation and employee work environment on employee performance. This study uses quantitative methods with a descriptive and verification approach. Data collection techniques are carried out by distributing questionnaires, which must be tested for validity and reliability. The population in this study were employees at all XYZ Resto branches, totaling 250 people, where the sample was taken as much as 40% to 100 people. This study uses path analysis as a data analysis tool. The hypothesis is that leadership, work motivation and work environment have a significant effect on employee performance at XYZ Resto. Based on the research findings, it was found that the influence of the three variables of Leadership, Motivation and Work Environment simultaneously on the Employee Performance variable is 62.5%. While 37.5% is influenced by other variables outside those studied.

The Influence of School Culture, Transformational Leadership, and Teacher Motivation on Teacher Performance

The purpose of this study is to ascertain the following: (1) the impact of school culture on junior high school work motivation; (2) the impact of transformational leadership on this relationship; (3) the impact of school culture on junior high school teacher performance; (4) the relationship between transformational leadership and junior high school performance; and (5) the impact of work motivation on junior high school teacher performance. Using descriptive data analysis methodologies, the study was carried out at junior high schools in the Delitua District in the academic year of 2023–2024. Regression analysis techniques were included in the data analysis method. There is a sample of 128 teachers in the population. The study's findings demonstrated that: (1) work motivation is directly impacted by school culture; (2) work motivation is directly impacted by transformational leadership in a significant positive way; (3) school culture directly affects performance; (4) transformational leadership directly affects performance; and (5) work motivation directly affects performance. These findings suggest that teacher effectiveness is influenced by school culture, transformational leadership, and work motivation and are important factors in supporting teacher performance.

The Influence of Organizational Culture and Work Motivation on Employee Productivity with Work Ethic as an Intervening Variable at PT. BTS

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of 1). Organizational culture and work motivation on work ethic; 2). Organizational culture and work motivation on work productivity; 3). Work ethic on work productivity and 4). Organizational culture and work motivation on work productivity through work ethic. This study was conducted at PT BTS with a research sample of 115 respondents. The sampling technique used a simple random sampling technique. The data analysis method used descriptive analysis and path analysis. The study results showed that: 1). Organizational culture and work motivation have a positive effect on work ethic and 2). Organizational culture and work motivation have a positive effect on work productivity, 3). Work ethic has a positive effect on work productivity and 4). Organizational culture and work motivation have a positive effect on work productivity through work ethic.

This study aims to determine the influence of perception, career motivation and economic motivation on career interest in taxation. Respondents of this study were accounting students who chose taxation concentration at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Pamulang University. The data used in this study are primary data collected through questionnaires, and the sampling technique in this study used the purposive sampling method with a total sample of 321 people. This study uses multiple regression analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously and partially there is an influence between the variables Perception, Career Motivation and Economic Motivation on Student Career Interest in Taxation.

An Evaluation Of Social Work Facilitated Peer Support Groupwork With Older Adult Inpatients In Orthopaedic Rehabilitation

Abstract Background Social work psychosocial assessments highlighted an elevated prevalence of patients experiencing low mood, isolation, and the impact of their hospital admission. Groupwork is an effective evidenced based social work tool. As psychological factors can impact acute and longer-term recovery, peer support groupwork was piloted to address these issues. This research aims to determine the success of the inclusion of social work facilitated peer support groupwork within the orthopaedic geriatric rehabilitation setting. Methods One pilot and three peer support groupwork sessions were held with 4-6 participants per group. Patients were identified with support from multidisciplinary team colleagues. Patients were over 65 years of age, medically stable and were an inpatient on the orthopaedic rehabilitation ward without any contraindications to attendance. A patient led thematic approach informed each session. Structured feedback forms were given to all participants which provided both quantitative and qualitative data. Results 100% of patients found that peer support groupwork was a beneficial addition to orthopaedic rehabilitation. Patients recognised the benefit of sharing their experiences and emotions with one another. 95% of patients said that they would reattend and many recognised the motivating influence of this forum. 17 out of 19 patients found that the peer support groupwork directly improved their mood. An incidental finding determined a better understanding of the patient and assisted social workers in identifying patients who required more focused holistic support. Conclusion Social work facilitated peer support groupwork assists in motivating and improving the mood of older adults engaging with inpatient orthopaedic rehabilitation. It was a resource efficient method which improved the psychological factors experienced by older adults in this setting. The patient led approach and careful consideration and planning generated the groups’ success. This approach has numerous benefits to the overall patient experience and has scope to be utilised within other gerontological settings.

The differential influence of Achievement Motivation on Subjective Well-being and the moderating role of Self-control.

To investigate the association between achievement motivation and subjective well-being, as well as the moderating role of self-control and self-management on this relationship, 1017 Chinese college students were surveyed. The main results showed that: The interactive effect of motivation to approach success and self-control on subjective well-being was significant. Specifically, for individuals with high self-control ability, the positive effects of motivation to approach success on subjective well-being, life satisfaction and positive affect tended to be stronger, and meanwhile, the motivation to approach success negatively predicted negative affect. Furthermore, the interactive effect of motivation to avoid failure and self-control on subjective well-being was significant. Specifically, for individuals with high self-control ability, the negative effects of motivation to avoid failure on subjective well-being, life satisfaction and positive affect tended to be weaker, and meanwhile, the effect of motivation to avoid failure on negative affect was relatively weaker. Overall, our study indicated that improving self-control ability could maximize the positive effect of achievement motivation on subjective well-being. Moreover, motivating individuals with high self-control ability to pursue success and reducing motivation to avoid failure for individuals with low self-control ability could have a more positive influence on subjective well-being.

In-depth Analysis of Students' Mathematical Problem-Solving Skills: Influence Factors Motivation and Effective Teaching Strategies

Problem-solving (PS) skills are efforts to find solutions when faced with challenges. This study aims to examine students' mathematical PS skills by focusing on the influence of learning motivation and identifying factors that were previously overlooked. A qualitative approach with a case study design was used, where the researcher acted as the primary instrument. The research also utilized PISA-type test instruments, observation sheets, and interviews. PISA-type questions were designed around content, context, and process components, adhering to the PISA framework. The study was conducted in a school in Surakarta, chosen for its alignment with the minimum competency assessment system similar to PISA. Using snowball sampling, nine students were selected for response analysis. These students were categorized based on their motivation levels: high, moderate, and low. The results show that students with high motivation are proactive in problem-solving, directly addressing the problem, reviewing each step as they proceed, and ensuring accuracy. Moderately motivated students take more time, often using scratch paper, and review their work only at the end. Low-motivation students face greater difficulties, frequently making mistakes, relying heavily on scratch paper, and often skipping the review process due to time pressure. To improve PS skills, future research could explore the integration of interactive digital tools with instant feedback, adaptive learning platforms tailored to student motivation, and collaborative learning exercises. Additionally, incorporating real-world scenarios into problem-based learning could enhance engagement and develop deeper problem-solving abilities across different motivation levels.

The Influence Of Cooperative Learning Models And Learning Motivation On Student Learning Outcomes On Chemical Bond Material

This study aims to analyze the influence of cooperative learning models and learning motivation on student learning outcomes on chemical bonding materials. The background of this research is the low learning outcomes of students on complex chemical materials, especially chemical bonds, which are often caused by a lack of understanding of concepts and low student learning motivation. To overcome this problem, a cooperative learning model is proposed as an effective strategy. This study uses a quantitative method with a pseudo-experimental design involving two classes as samples: an experimental class that uses a cooperative learning model and a control class with conventional learning methods. Data collection was carried out through learning outcome tests and learning motivation questionnaires. The study results show that the cooperative learning model positively and significantly influences student learning outcomes. In addition, it was found that student learning motivation plays a role as a moderation variable that strengthens the impact of learning models on learning outcomes. In conclusion, using cooperative learning models effectively improves student learning outcomes, especially when combined with efforts to increase learning motivation. Therefore, this learning model is recommended for chemistry learning, especially in chemical bonding materials.

The Influence of Project-Based Complex Instruction (CI) Collaborative Learning Models and Learning Motivation on Elementary School Students’ Problem Solving Skill

The problems solving skills of class V students in mathematics learning are still relatively low. One of the things that causes this is the teacher's tendency to carry out learning conventionally through lecture, question and answer and assignment methods. Teachers have a dominant role in finding, processing and explaining the material being taught. Students are not given the freedom to elaborate on the material taught through collaboration with their peers. The objectives of this research are: to describe the influence of the project-based CI Collaborative Learning Model on students' problems solving skills; Describe the interaction between the project-based CI Collaborative Learning Model and learning motivation on students' problems solving skills. The research method used was Quasi Experiment with a Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Only Control Group Design. The research instruments used were problem solving skills tests and learning motivation questionnaires. The results of the homogeneity test and normality test of problems solving skill show that the sample variance is homogeneous and normally distributed. After fulfilling the prerequisite tests, a hypothesis test is carried out and it can be concluded that the project-based CI Collaborative Learning Model has a significant effect on students' problems solving skills. Apart from that, there is no interaction between the project-based CI Collaborative Learning Model and learning motivation on students' problems solving skills
