Exploration of Effective Articulation Path between Consolidation of Poverty Eradication Achievements and Rural Revitalization--Taking Shuanghuai Township of Hechuan District as an Example

After the comprehensive victory in the battle against poverty, rural revitalization has become the focus of China's rural work at this stage and in the coming period. As an important part of industrial prosperity, consolidating the results of industrial poverty alleviation is the prerequisite and foundation for realizing industrial prosperity, and it is an important measure for realizing rural revitalization. As the consolidation of the results of poverty alleviation and rural revitalization are still in the exploratory stage in terms of the interface between the results of poverty alleviation and rural revitalization. Taking Shuanghuai Town of Hechuan District as an example, this study proposes specific paths for consolidating the results of poverty alleviation and rural revitalization effectively articulated in five aspects: industrial revitalization path, organizational revitalization path, talent revitalization path, cultural revitalization path, and ecological revitalization path, with a view to providing an articulated path reference for the realization of rural revitalization.

Research Progress, Hot Spots, and Prospects of Internet Plus Specialty Fruits

Based on the 627 journal articles collected in CNKI database from 2011 to 2022, this paper analyzes the research progress, hotspots and hot topic evolution in the field of domestic Internet plus specialty fruits by using CiteSpace visualization software, and then puts forward the research outlook. The results show that: (1) In the field of Internet Plus Specialty Fruits, the number of articles published shows a general trend of "gradual increase in the early stage and relatively flat in the later stage", the cooperation of authors shows the characteristics of "local concentration", and the cooperation of institutions shows the characteristics of "global dispersion". (2) Fresh food e-commerce, Internet plus agriculture, industrial poverty alleviation are the three major research hotspots in the field of Internet Plus specialty fruits. (3) The research hotspots of Internet Plus specialty fruits present such stage characteristics: evolving from the classic themes of fresh e-commerce, e-commerce platform and Internet plus to the emerging themes related to rural e-commerce and rural revitalization. Therefore, in the future, we should strengthen the basic theoretical research in the field of Internet plus specialty fruits, pay more attention to the hot issues such as "Internet Plus" agriculture, and focus on the training of talents in the field of "Internet Plus".

Assessing the effectiveness of targeted poverty alleviation policies in Xinjiang, China

To consolidate and expand the effective connection between the achievements of poverty alleviation in Xinjiang’s deeply impoverished areas and rural revitalization, it is necessary to study the effects and mechanisms of poverty alleviation policies. In this paper, the value of night light is used to measure regional economic development, and the panel data of 32 national key counties for poverty alleviation in Xinjiang and the remaining 48 counties in the province under its jurisdiction are analyzed by using the dual difference method to evaluate the promotion effect of poverty alleviation policies on regional economic development. The indirect impact of different poverty alleviation measures on economic development is explored by using the intermediary effect model. The study found that the implementation of the policy significantly promoted the development of the county economy, and the poverty alleviation policy in minority counties in the region had a stronger role in promoting the economy than that in nonminority counties. Further analysis of the mechanism shows that industrial poverty alleviation and education poverty alleviation have a significant role in county economic development, and the promotion of education poverty alleviation is lower than that of industry poverty alleviation.

Performance Comparison of Poverty Alleviation through Education, Employment and Industry during the Period of Targeted Poverty Alleviation

<p><big>Based on the income poverty level differences and multi-dimensional poverty perspective in China, this paper compares the performance of education poverty alleviation, employment poverty alleviation, and industry poverty alleviation. The hypothesis was tested by quantile regression and ordered probit model. The results show that: in the short term, the effect of poverty alleviation through education is not significant; however, the effect of poverty alleviation through employment and industry is significant, increasing the income of poor households to a certain extent. The effect of poverty alleviation through employment is high. In the long term, the effect of poverty alleviation through industry is good. For the deep poor households, the effect of poverty alleviation through employment is more significant in the short term. For the marginal poor, only industry poverty alleviation has a significant effect on poverty alleviation. Education poverty alleviation and industry poverty alleviation are conducive to improving multi-dimensional poverty. In the alleviation of multi-dimensional poverty, employment poverty alleviation and education poverty alleviation have a certain synergy.</big></p>

In order to thoroughly investigate the development status of Gongcheng Camellia oleifera, study the development path, this paper uses SPSS software, KMO test and Bartlett spherical test were carried out on the data, and it was found that there was correlation between the variables, and factor analysis was effective. Then, Amos software is used to model it, and the structural equation model diagram is obtained; Realize the visualization of survey data with the help of software fine Bi; Finally, deeply excavate and use the data to explore the factors that affect the marketing and promotion of Gongcheng Camellia oleifera, and put forward feasible solutions to improve the sales volume of Gongcheng Camellia oleifera, promote industrial poverty alleviation, and help rural revitalization.

Industrial Poverty Alleviation, Digital Innovation and Regional Economically Sustainable Growth: Empirical Evidence Based on Local State-Owned Enterprises in China

This paper takes the industrial poverty alleviation of local state-owned enterprises in China as the research object, and takes the local state-owned enterprises listed in Shanghai and Shenzhen A shares in China from 2016 to 2020 as the sample to empirically test the impact of industrial poverty alleviation on the sustainable economic growth of the region and consider the regulatory effect of digital innovation. This study found that China’s local industrial poverty reduction behavior in state-owned enterprises can effectively promote regional economic growth. Moreover, the digital innovation produced a regulating effect; that is, if enterprises carry out digital innovation and have a higher degree of digital innovation, their industrial poverty alleviation behavior will have a stronger role in promoting regional economic growth. This conclusion still holds even after controlling for factors of robustness and endogeneity. In addition, the study of influence mechanisms found that the proportion of primary industry in GDP was the mediating effect of industrial poverty alleviation on regional economic growth, and the proportion of primary industry in GDP had a partial mediating effect. Further heterogeneous group testing shows that the impact of industrial poverty alleviation on regional economically sustainable growth is more obvious in agriculture-related, local state-owned enterprises; non-high-tech, local state-owned enterprises; and local state-owned enterprises with subsequent poverty alleviation plans. The empirical evidence in this paper verifies the role of local state-owned enterprises’ participation in industrial poverty alleviation in promoting regional economic growth. It is a useful supplement to the research literature on the economic consequences of Chinese enterprises’ participation in targeted poverty alleviation, which helps to better understand such a phenomenon and also provides a powerful explanation for China’s poverty alleviation achievements.

Spatial differentiation and factors influencing the benefits of industrial poverty alleviation in villages

AbstractIndustrial poverty alleviation is one of the most important aspects of targeted poverty alleviation. Identifying the mechanism influencing the spatial differentiation of the benefits of industrial poverty alleviation plays an essential role in optimising an industrial layout for poverty alleviation, consolidating poverty alleviation achievements, and revitalising rural industries. This study examined the spatial distribution characteristics and influencing factors of the benefits of industrial poverty alleviation at the village level using the household data collected from Jiangjin District, Chongqing, China. The results show that the benefits of industrial poverty alleviation presented obvious spatial differentiation in the villages with the overall performance being high in the north and low in the south and decreasing from the south of the county to the north and south. Spatially, there was a significant positively correlated agglomeration effect. High‐value agglomeration areas were concentrated in the north with the characteristics of ‘one centre and two subcentres’. However, low‐value and outlier agglomeration effects were not obvious, presenting sporadic distribution. Seven major factors affect industrial poverty alleviation in Jiangjin District, including average altitude and land transfer rate. The interaction between any two of the seven factors has a more significant impact than that of a single factor.

Corporate social responsibility and firm value: evidence from Chinese targeted poverty alleviation

PurposeWhilst the relationship between corporate social responsibility (CSR) and corporate financial performance has been well documented, CSR has rarely been studied from the perspective of corporate poverty alleviation. This study aims to test whether participation in targeted poverty alleviation (TPA) affects firms' market value and to explore how the magnitudes of market value vary in different CSR environments.Design/methodology/approachBased on recent Chinese TPA initiatives and on 108 TPA announcements of Chinese-listed firms from 2016 to 2020, this study adopts an event study method to investigate the impact of firm's TPA announcements on the firm's market value. Then, the authors construct a cross-sectional regression to analyse different CSR factors that may affect market reactions.FindingsThe results demonstrate that TPA announcements can increase a firm's overall market value. Additionally, the results show that TPA way and firm ownership significantly moderate the market reaction, namely the positive reaction is more significant when the TPA announcements involve charity poverty alleviation rather than industrial poverty alleviation and for privately owned firms rather than state-owned firms.Practical implicationsThe empirical results help TPA practitioners obtain a nuanced understanding of whether and when to participate in poverty alleviation is worthwhile. This study also provides a reference for poverty alleviation work in countries with similar backgrounds.Originality/valueThis study not only provides empirical evidence for the consequences of poverty alleviation behaviour of firms in developing countries, but also complements the field of CSR research in developed countries.

Investigation and Analysis on the Effectiveness of Targeted Poverty Alleviation in China — Based on Some Counties and Cities in Guizhou and Anhui Provinces

In 2020, China has achieved the goal of comprehensive poverty alleviation and ushered in a moderately prosperous society in all respects. The research of this paper is conducted based on research and comparison to truly understand the different methods adopted in targeted poverty alleviation in different places. Field research was conducted in 22 villages in Lingbi County of Anhui Province and Wuchuan County of Guizhou Province, and primary data were obtained by household visits and surveys, which was adopted as the research basis. Through comparison, it is found that education based poverty alleviation and industrial poverty alleviation were adopted as the main methods in Lingbi County with development of characteristic planting industry, rural tourism based poverty alleviation and agricultural product processing industry at the agricultural level. Meanwhile, photovoltaic based poverty alleviation and e-commerce poverty alleviation projects were vigorously developed. The way of poverty alleviation by relocation and industry was mainly adopted in Wuchuan County, centering on agricultural development, relocation based poverty alleviation, demolition of old houses, reclamation and eco-friendly measures. To some extent, the different paths of the two counties reflect the different concepts in targeted poverty alleviation in the two provinces and even the two regions, providing a valuable reference for further research on targeted poverty alleviation.

Research on the Evaluation of Industrial Poverty Alleviation under the Background of the Internet

With the advent of the information age in the 21st century, Internet technology has developed rapidly. With the development of agriculture, industry, and service industry, Internet technology has also achieved further innovation and cross-border integration. The rapid development of Internet technology has provided new ideas for poverty alleviation in poor areas of China and accelerated the speed of poverty alleviation in poor areas. Based on the assumption of China’s industrial poverty alleviation and the analysis of the implementation center, this paper puts forward an evaluation method of industrial poverty alleviation effect based on the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, which is evaluated from three aspects: income structure, expenditure structure, and labor resources. Taking Wuxi County as an example, this paper discusses the combination of human capital theory and multidimensional poverty theory. The evaluation of poverty alleviation effectiveness includes four indicators (comprehensive analysis, evaluation system, policy implementation, poverty alleviation funds) and 21 secondary indicators. Fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is an objective, fair, and comprehensive evaluation of the overall level of poverty alleviation and development in Wuxi. The expert scoring method is used to calculate the weight of each index and determine the level of members and the industrial situation of China’s industrial poverty alleviation. According to the scores of each evaluation index, the poor households in Wuxi County are very satisfied with the person in charge of help, the villager group, the way of helping, and the effect of helping.

On the Development of Rural Economy Driven by Industry under the Background of Rural Revitalization

At present, China's key battle against poverty has won an all-round victory. In the next step, we still need to revitalize rural characteristic high-quality resources with industrial development, optimize the allocation of production factors such as land, capital and labor, improve the self-development ability of people in relatively poor areas, promote the effective connection between the achievements of poverty alleviation and rural revitalization, and make the foundation of poverty alleviation more stable and sustainable.Taking the rural economic development of Anhui Province as an example, this paper discusses the effectiveness and existing problems of industrial poverty alleviation in recent years, and puts forward targeted suggestions.

Impact of farmers’ participation in tourism on sustainable livelihood outcomes in border tourism areas

Tourism, as a new way of industrial poverty alleviation, is of great significance to poverty reduction in border areas. This research takes the Sino–Vietnamese border tourism area as a case study and introduces a sustainable livelihood analysis framework. It collects questionnaire data from Napo County of Guangxi and uses structural equation modeling to analyze the behavioral intention of farmers still willing to participate in tourism after overcoming poverty. Results indicate that (1) participation motivation, participation opportunity, and participation ability had significant positive effects on farmers’ involvement level; (2) farmers’ economic, social, cultural, political, and environmental outcome perceptions had significant effects on their sustainable livelihood outcome perception; (3) farmers’ involvement level had a significant positive effect on their sustainable livelihood outcome perception; (4) the positive effect of the involvement level on behavioral intention failed to pass the significance test; and (5) farmers’ sustainable livelihood outcome perception had a significant positive impact on behavioral intention. Therefore, farmers’ involvement in poverty alleviation through tourism is a complex process of behavior and psychological perceptions.

Analysis of Smooth Implementation of Industry Poverty Alleviation considering Government Supervision

Vigorous implementation of industrial poverty alleviation is the fundamental path and core power of poverty alleviation in impoverished areas. Enterprises and poor farmers are the main participants in industry poverty alleviation. Government supervision measures regulate their behaviors. This study investigates how to smoothly implement industry poverty alleviation projects considering government supervision. A game model is proposed based on the evolutionary game theory. It analyses the game processes between enterprises and poor farmers with and without government supervision based on the proposed model. It is shown that poverty alleviation projects will fail without government supervision given that the equilibrium point (0, 0) is the ultimate convergent point of the system but will possibly succeed with government supervision since the equilibrium points (0, 0) and (1, 1) are the ultimate convergent point of the system, where equilibrium point (1, 1) is our desired results. Different supervision modes have different effects on the game process. This study considers three supervision modes, namely, only reward mode, only penalty mode, and reward and penalty mode, and investigates the parameter design for the reward and penalty mode. The obtained results are helpful for the government to develop appropriate policies for the smooth implementation of industry poverty alleviation projects.

The purpose of this study is to study in depth the effective mechanism of China's vocational education reform to promote the poverty alleviation of precision industries. The purpose of this research is to deeply study the effective mechanism of my country's vocational education reform to promote precision industry poverty alleviation, and investigate the financial aid for poor students and the number of aids of a secondary vocational college for 5 consecutive years. Investigate the number of registered poor agricultural households in a city for five consecutive years, the number of rural labor transfers in employment, and the growth of per capita income of farmers. Taking 100 poor families in a poverty-stricken county as an example to investigate and analyze the educational background, knowledge level and attitudes of parents and students to school. Investigate various major local technical trainings conducted in a city for 5 consecutive years. The results show that the poverty subsidy of vocational schools has increased year by year, and the number of poverty subsidies has also increased. Among them, the intensity of targeted poverty alleviation has also been continuously strengthened. The dynamic management of information on the establishment of filing cards has greatly improved the precision of poverty alleviation and realized dynamic management. Per capita income has also achieved steady growth. At the same time, most parents have a junior high school diploma, and the student's academic qualifications are generally not high. In view of the attitude to school, most parents believe that it is very necessary, but the students think that they can not go up. There are more and more people participating in the main technical training in various localities, and more and more training projects are taking place, and the proportion is gradually increasing. These jobs are of great significance to the development of today's society.

An Evolutionary Game Analysis on the Ecological Poverty Alleviation Industry

Ecological poverty alleviation is a new idea that combines environmental protection and poverty alleviation, and the ecological industry poverty alleviation is an important part of it. The ecological poverty alleviation industry involves multiple bodies. Since different bodies have different strategic choices, there is a complex game relationship between them. From the perspective of evolutionary game, this article explores the game situation between local government and enterprises in the ecological poverty alleviation industry, and puts forward corresponding policy recommendations based on the results of game analysis.

Tourism poverty alleviation is the most typical type of industrial poverty alleviation, and it is a powerful starting point and focus for building a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way. In this process, as a new research horizon, all-for-one tourism has realized the completeness of tourism in terms of space, industry, elements and management. It is an important means of tourism poverty alleviation, and the coupling mechanism of all-for-one tourism and tourism poverty alleviation should provide a new paradigm for further expanding the realization path of targeted poverty alleviation
