The Practice of Religious Plurality in The Indonesian National Army

This paper discusses the practice of religious plurality within the Indonesian Armed Forces. To support the main task of soldiers and the success of the task, they are equipped with faith and purity, good moral values and noble character. Religion has a significant role in supporting military tasks. Data collection techniques in this study used observation then, followed by interviews. Forms behaviour The TNI AD in maintaining harmony between members of different religions includes anjangsana, working together to achieve common goals in religion, sympathy and empathy, tolerance and mutual respect. The Influence of Duties and Education Experience on New Personnel Duties in the Indonesian National Army's Operating Staff Environment

New personnel in the TNI operations staff environment are expected to have sufficient skills and knowledge to be able to complete the assigned tasks. However, several factors such as complex tasks and lack of educational experience can affect the ability of new personnel to carry out these tasks. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of task experience and education partially and simultaneously on the adaptation of new personnel assignments in the TNI Operations Staff Environment. The research method uses a survey with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique uses Simple Random Sampling. The sample size was 44 respondents. The results showed that a) task experience had a positive and significant effect on the adaptation of new personnel assignments; b) Task experience and education together have a positive and significant effect on the adaptation of new personnel assignments. It is recommended that in the selection of new personnel within the Indonesian Army Operations Staff, those who already have duty experience and education will support each other to facilitate the process of adjusting their duties. Looking at the dynamics of tasks in the TNI Operations Staff environment, it is recommended that task experience with the priority of work mastery and education with the priority of developing science and technology is the most ideal combination for accelerating adaptation. processes within the TNI Operations Staff so that they can subsequently smoothly carry out their duties within the TNI Operations Staff.

Peningkatan Efektifitas Komunikasi Anggota Korem Wijaya Kusuma Purwokerto melalui Pelatihan Public Speaking

Members of the Indonesian National Army (TNI) in Wijaya Kusuma Military Resort Command (Korem), Banyumas, Central Java, required public speaking skills. The Commanders of the Military District (Dandim) and Information for Korem & Kodim must improve their public speaking skills and develop a strategy for dealing with media inquiries about various events or providing public information. Public speaking training is provided as a form of community service in response to these needs and goals. The training is done in an interactive manner. The participants were given the opportunity to practice public speaking on the given topic. The facilitator then provided feedback to the participants on how to improve the effectiveness of their public speaking. Aside from that, they conducted questions and answers, as well as discussions, based on the problems they faced. The training resulted in a greater understanding of public speaking strategies among the participants. They also feel more prepared and confident when confronted by the media and society.

The Impact of Criminal Policy on Money Laundering Against the Resilience of the Law

Differences in the authority of investigators over money laundering crimes committed by members of the Indonesian National Armed Forces lead to disharmony of norms, thus creating polemics in the law enforcement process, especially in efforts to eradicate money laundering. Currently, there is an expansion of investigative competence based on the Decision of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia, which states that predicate criminal investigators are officials or bodies authorized by laws and regulations to conduct investigations. Violations committed by members of the Indonesian National Armed Forces against the crime of money laundering should be under the jurisdiction of the Military Court. This study aims to determine the development and impact of legal policies related to members of the Indonesian National Armed Forces who commit criminal acts in the jurisdiction of the Military Court I-03 Padang. The analysis of this research uses a descriptive qualitative approach by using primary and secondary data. The results indicate that the competence of military courts is vulnerable to discontinuing the legal process of money laundering. Military courts should also be given the authority to try Indonesian National Armed Forces members who commit money laundering crimes. Investigation of The Crime of Money Laundering committed by members of the Indonesian National Armed Forces in the ius constituendum must be formulated more firmly in the Money Laundering Law. Thus, the Indonesian National Army members who violate the entered in categorization of General Crimes or non-military will be subject to the general justice system, and in the investigation carried out by investigators in the general court as described in the provisions in accordance with the limitative theory.

In a country, elements of the field are needed to maintain unity and integrity in the country, one of which is the military. In Indonesia, the military element that maintains the sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia is the Indonesian National Army (TNI). TNI soldier is formed through an educational process so that a soldier can carry out his duties properly according to the tasks given, both in combat and outside combat. But in the military area, which should be free from bad and despicable actions or behavior, in reality, TNI members are also ordinary people who cannot be separated from mistakes. It is possible for a soldier to disobey his superiors, or to commit a crime or violation that is detrimental to both the individual and the unit. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of law enforcement military discipline in the Military Police Lantamal V Surabaya and the imposition of penalties if there are members of the military who violate military discipline. This research uses empirical juridical research. Methods of data collection is done by means of interviews and literature studies. The results showed that there were still members of the military who violated military discipline. The data analysis technique in this study used qualitative data analysis. There are 5 (five) factors of legal effectiveness, namely the legal factor itself, law enforcement factors, facilities that support law enforcement, community factors, and cultural factors.

Management of the ground force reserve components in development of defense posture to face threats in West Kalimantan Province

West Kalimantan Province geographically is part of Indonesia which borders directly with neighboring countries with potential hybrid threats and non-military threats. Based on the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 3 of 2002 concerning National Defense explained that the defense of Indonesia organized with a universal defense system to face any form of threat. Indonesian defense posture relying on the Indonesian National Army as the main component who are ready to face the threat. In accordance with the mandate of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 23 of 2019 concerning Management of National Resources, in addition to relying on the strength and capabilities of the Indonesian National Army, also involves reserve components who have received basic military training to increase the strength of the main components in a short time. This study aims to analyze the management, constraints and efforts made in management of the ground force reserve component in the development of a defense posture to deal with threats in West Kalimantan Province. The method used in this research is qualitative method with primary data collection techniques that is interviews with resource persons and secondary data in the form of literature studies. Results research shows that management of the ground force reserve component implemented by territorial command through the management functions of planning, organizing, actuating and controlling. The obstacles faced are geographical factors, budget constraints, central and local governments and companies do not understand the regulations, limited educators, trainers and infrastructure, limited communication tools to control the members of the ground force reserve component. As for efforts to overcome obstacles in management of the ground force reserve component in West Kalimantan Province is to optimize the implementation of socialization, intensify budget coordination, increase the quantity and quality of human resources and improve facilities and coaching programs.

Personnel Management of The Indonesian National Army Air Force (TNI-AU) In Preparing To Implement Network Centric Warfare

This study attempts to describe the management of Indonesian Air Force (TNI-AU) personnel in preparing for the implementation of Network Centric Warfare (NCW). Globally, the military’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is growing. The war in this digital era makes every country need to prepare itself for the attacks of the digital world. In Indonesia itself, the Indonesian National Army (TNI) has included NCW as one of its programs to deal with possible disturbances in state security stability through the digital world. In addition, NCW is needed by the TNI as a form of a centralized and fast command communication strategy. This study uses a case study strategy involving five informants and written data to complete the integrity of the data. In personnel training management, the TNI-AU has prepared integrated infrastructure development, modeling and simulation, cyber defense management, and personnel management to be specially prepared to occupy crucial positions in the implementation of NCW. This personnel training concentrates on strengthening protection from foreign attacks in the digital world and the technology of unmanned warfare vehicles.

Criminal Law Policy On The Crime Of Desertion Performed By Members Of The Indonesian National Army

An absolute requirement in military life is to comply with TNI regulations and official orders from each superior in order to uphold a life in the military that is full of high awareness. If these things are violated (desertion), it will only shake the joints of discipline and order in the TNI. The formulation of the problems in this study are: 1) What is the criminal law policy on desertion crimes committed by members of the Indonesian National Armed Forces? 2) What are the obstacles to criminal law policies against desertion crimes committed by members of the Indonesian National Armed Forces and what are the solutions. The author uses a normative juridical approach. The sociological juridical approach emphasizes research that aims to obtain legal knowledge empirically by going directly to the object related to this research. The results of this study are: 1) The criminal law policy against the criminal act of desertion in Indonesian military law is clearly regulated in Article 87 of the Criminal Procedure Code and the punishment for members who become the perpetrators of desertion is regulated in Article 88 of the Criminal Procedure Code. The application of military law against the perpetrators of the crime of desertion as a Military Member (TNI) carries a heavier penalty than the threat of punishment found in the general public, because the military is not only armed to maintain security but must be disciplined, instead of using desertion. Desertion in this case is absence without permission, intentionally for 30 consecutive days. 2) Obstacles in the implementation of military law against members of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) who commit the criminal act of desertion in general because the investigations carried out by Military Police investigators still often do not meet the formal and material requirements.

DENTISTS' ROLE IN STRENGTHENING THE NATIONAL DEFENSE SYSTEM

<div><p class="Els-history-head">National defense is a form of effort to maintain state sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national safety. In Indonesia, the national defense system is used in the form of a universal people's defense system that involves all resources prepared by the government and is carried out in a total, integrated, directed, and sustainable manner. The common people's defense and security system is used in dealing with various threats. Military threats place the Indonesian National Army (TNI) as the main component, while non-military threats place Ministries/Institutions as the main component. This study will identify how dentists can play a role in strengthening the defense system in Indonesia. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method with data collection techniques through literature studies and field observations. The results showed that in strengthening the defense system, dentists had the following roles namely 1) examination and treatment of the dental and oral health of soldiers, when the condition of the teeth is not good, it would interfere with the personnel’s performance in the field; 2) in military operations, dentists also play a role in recording the ante mortem of troops; and 3) in the field of review, plays a very large role in identifying disaster victims, this is because teeth are the only part of the body that has a good level of resistance. Military dentists as one of the professionals in the health sector in Indonesia play an active role in strengthening the national defense system, but the distribution of human resources for health workers is still not evenly distributed throughout Indonesia. There needs an effort to manage dental health personnel so that the rights of every Indonesian citizen in the health sector, especially dental health, can be fulfilled optimally. </p></div>

The Criminal Policy in Efforts to Overcome Crimes Perpetrated by the Indonesian National Army

This study aims to find out and analyze and seek answers to criminal policies in an effort to tackle crimes committed by the Indonesian National Armed Forces and to find out and analyze and seek answers to policies for regulating criminal law enforcement against TNI soldiers in the future. The results and discussion of the research show that Criminal Policy in Efforts to Overcome Crimes Committed by the Indonesian National Armed Forces is subject towetboek van Militair Strafrecht (WvMs)/Stb.1934 Number 167 in conjunction with UURI Number 39 of 1947, which was translated into the Military Criminal Code (KUHPM). Its enforcement is the same as in law in Indonesia, if the Criminal Procedure Code is a material criminal law, then Act No. 6 of 1950 in conjunction with Act No. 1 Drt of 1958 concerning Military Criminal Procedure Code which was later revised and set forth in Chapter IV of Article 264 of the Law. Law on Military Courts, while Act No. 31 of 1997 applies as a formal criminal law, and the realization of the revision of Act No. 31 of 1997 concerning Military Courts. COVID-19 pandemic emergency for the doctrine of asymmetric warfare

Several countries that have involved the military in handling Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been relatively successful. The authors researched the doctrine of asymmetric warfare during the COVID-19 pandemic emergency. The Indonesian government assigns the Indonesian National Army (TNI) during an emergency. Help to support the smooth circulation of fulfilling the population's basic needs, cross-regional population transportation, crime is not widespread, offices continue to run with restrictions on the number of people working, and the economy recovers quickly. This research framework uses moral philosophy. Deontological views and utilitarianism become the main assessment instruments to build the doctrine of asymmetric warfare. This research uses a case study approach. The study results show that the Indonesian people see the emergency condition of the COVID-19 pandemic as an asymmetrical warfare. The government is aware of the implications of the COVID-19 pandemic occurring at various government levels in terms of spread, duration, and number. All resources are used to deal with COVID-19, including the military, because civil society does not have many facilities and capabilities of TNI personnel.

Kontribusi Pembela Tanah Air (PETA) dalam Pembentukan TNI dengan Pendekatan Historis dan Ilmu Pertahanan

The purpose of this study is to analyze and examine the social phenomenon of the formation of the TNI. This research is focuses on elevating the role and contribution of PETA in the formation of the TNI in terms of history and defense science. The research method used is a literature study method with a qualitative approach. The results showed that the Republic of Indonesia in general had been colonized by several European countries such as the Netherlands, Portugal and Japan. However, the suffering of colonialism was most felt when the Japanese Occupation Period formed the Defender of the Homeland Army (PETA). PETA is a security institution that was formed during the Japanese occupation of Indonesia in September 1943. PETA has contributed a lot to the forerunner of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia since before independence in the form of defiance and resistance to the Japanese army, securing the independence procession and being the first to raise the saka red and white. , changed its name to the People's Security Agency (BKR) to the Indonesian National Army (TNI). During the process of changing the name of the institution there have been several incidents ranging from rebellion to military aggression by the Dutch. As for the resistance and operations carried out ranging from guerrilla warfare, physical to non-physical. The Historical Approach is a condition of PETA's military since it was first formed until it turned into the TNI in various regions in Indonesia and the Defense Science Approach in the form of a tactical step/independence movement which led to PETA's contribution to Indonesia.

THE TNI-POLRI COMMUNICATION STRATEGY IN INCREASING COMMUNITY AWARENESS TO ACCELERATE THE HANDLING OF COVID-19

This study discusses the Tentara Nasional Indonesia-TNI and Kepolisian Republik Indonesia-Polri (Indonesian National Army- Police of the Republic of Indonesia) Cooperation strategy and the Jakarta Provincial Government in accelerating handling of COVID-19. This Study using the theory of Organizational Resources from George R. Terry. The aim is to describe Cooperation regulations, activity methods, readiness of human resources and the availability of infrastructure facilities in accelerating the handling of COVID-19. The method used is an observational case studies method with both quantitative and qualitative approaches (mix method) and uses SWOT and AHP for analysis. As a result, the first strategy is to create cooperation policy regulations, the second strategy is to increase public awareness of implementing Health protocols, the third strategy is to create superior human resources, and the fourth strategy is to realize the readiness of facilities and infrastructure.

STRATEGIES AND POLICIES IN ENFORCEMENT OF SECURITY, HUMAN RIGHTS AND DEVELOPMENT IN PAPUA

Papua always an interesting discussion along with the rampant acts of violence against civilians carried out by the Independent Papua Organization (OPM), which were later labeled with various terms such as the Armed Separatist Group (KSB), Armed Criminal Group (KKB), Armed Separatist Criminal Group (KKSB). KKB carried out acts of violence in killing civilians, government officials vandalizing and burning public facilities. Because of the ways that are similar to acts of terrorism, this group is finally called the Armed Terrorism Group (KTB). The Indonesian National Army (TNI) and Indonesian Republic Police (POLRI) security forces have taken repressive actions with armed contact as an effort to uphold law and sovereignty, especially in responding to the actions of armed separatist groups. Although some believe that the crackdown by the officers will lead to human rights violations. In this paper, the author will try to analyze the security enforcement of KTB and also look at the development side of Papua. This study uses qualitative methods with comprehensive analysis through accountable data. Research suggests that the State must provide a sense of security to Papuans who are often terrorized, protect the rights of Papuans who are often taken away by the KTB group. So, it can be said that the repressive actions of the TNI-Polri security forces against KTB were not human rights violations.

Optimizing The Role Of The Indonesian National Army In Addressing The Crime Of Terrorism

The role of the Indonesian National Army ( Tentara Nasional Indonesia “ TNI ”) in countering terrorism is part of the strategy to combat terrorism. With the escalation of the threat of terrorism which not only threatens national security, but also state sovereignty, the involvement of the TNI is a necessity in order to defend the country from threats or terrorist attacks. This study describes the urgency of the TNI's involvement in efforts to overcome acts of terrorism that threaten state sovereignty, and how the ideal role of the TNI in efforts to combat criminal acts of terrorism is described. The method used in this research is normative legal research, using a statutory approach ( statu te approach ) and a conceptual approach ( conceptual approach ). The results of this study indicate that there is a need for regulations that clarify the main tasks and functions of the TNI in combating terrorism. The proposed efforts to involve the TNI in counter-terrorism include aspects of enforcement and prevention. In the aspect of prosecution, the technical involvement of the TNI in counter-terrorism operations is at the back, when the Anti-Terror Detachment 88 is in a condition beyond over capacity and the gradation of threats that endangers the sovereignty of the state. In the prevention function, the role of the TNI is more focused on the effective use of intelligence forces in supporting the prevention of criminal acts of terrorism. Technically, the role of the TNI that must be carried out is early warning, early prevention, and prosecution and restoration of an area as a result of acts of terrorism.

Success Of The Country In Resolving The Sunning Of KRI Nanggala 402

A year of remembering the sinking of KRI Nanggala 402 still leaves sorrow for the Indonesian people, where the knights of KRI Nanggala 402 who died were the best sons of the nation and patriots who firmly had the duty to maintain the sovereignty of the country. Marine Matra Soldiers with military discipline, hierarchy, and honor have been proven physically and mentally by soldiers of KRI Nanggala 402 in carrying out their duties and responsibilities as soldiers of the Shark Kencana corps who have the motto "Wira Ananta Rudhiro" which means Persevere to the End. The sinking incident of KRI Nanggala 402 at a depth of 833 meters in the Bali Sea on April 21, 2021, the death of 53 of the best Indonesian Navy soldiers. The state has been present in an effort to resolve the sinking of KRI Nanggala 402 as a form of responsibility and respect for the fallen soldiers, especially the soldiers' families. In accordance with Law Number 34 of 2004 concerning the Indonesian National Army (TNI), in resolving the rights of the families of soldiers who died by ensuring the survival of the families of soldiers of KRI Nanggala-402, including the assistance and attention of several countries that have given attention to the families of soldiers of KRI Nanggala- 402, as well as changes in the policies of TNI leaders, especially the Navy. Thus, this study is a descriptive-analytical study of the efforts and successes of the state to resolve the sinking incident of KRI Nangala-402 in the aspect of resolving the rights of families of soldiers who died in the line of duty and improving the submarine operational policy system in Indonesia.

THE EFFECT OF STRATEGY COMPETENCY AND WORK MOTIVATION ON ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE OF ARMY HEADQUARTERS MEDIATED BY ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT

The purpose of this study is to provide input to the leadership of the Indonesian Army National Armed Forces Headquarters regarding the importance of improving Human Resources through increasing good Work Motivation and applicable Competency Strategy order to produce good Organizational Commitment and Organizational Performance to support the success of the National Army Headquarters. Indonesian Army, especially in the General Section of the Indonesian Army National Army The design/design and research method used in this research is hypothesis testing. This research is a quantitative non-experimental, using a questionnaire given to 95 respondents. This research was conducted at the Indonesian Army National Army Headquarters. Data analysis using SPSS and PLS.3.20 software with multivariate Structural Equation Model (SEM) analysis method. The results of this study indicate that: The influence of Strategic Competency, Work Motivation on Organizational Commitment is positive and significant. The effect of Organizational Commitment on Organizational Performance is positive and significant. The effect of Organizational Commitment mediating Strategic Competency, Work Motivation on Organizational Performance is positive and significant. It means that the higher/positive mediation of Organizational Commitment to Strategic Competency, Work Motivation, the higher/positive Organizational Performance. Theoretical implications: Organizational Commitment as a mediating of Strategic Competency, Work Motivation can able to improve Organizational Performance, by increasing Organizational Commitment through increasing its dimensions will be able to improve Organizational Performance of the General Section of the Indonesian National Army, Inspectorate General of the Indonesian Army, National Army Personnel Staff Indonesian Army. Judicial Reconstruction of Indonesian National Army as Criminal Actors

By the issuance of TAP MPR Number VII/ MPR / 2000 and Act Number 34 of 2004, particularly provisions of Article 65 paragraph (2), based on the law principle of Lex Posteriore Derogat Lex Priori , the competence of General Court should include the Indonesian National Army soldiers for violating general criminal law. The enforcement of judicial competence adhered to the provision of Article 65 paragraph (2) of Act Number 34 of 2094, shall be preceded by reformation of criminal law in the military court or general court environment which is adapted to the substance of Article 65 paragraph (2) Act Number 34 of 2004. Furthermore, the settlement of general criminal dispute by the National Army after the enforcement of Act Number 34 of 2004 shall constantly be under the guidance of KUHPM and Act Number 31 of 1997 on Military Court. The reformation of criminal law within the General Court is related to General Court Competence for TNI who commits general criminal acts in the future, As Ius Constituendum, it is necessary to regulate the roles and functions of Superiors who have the right to punish (hereinafter referred to as Ankum ) and Case Transfer Officers (hereinafter referred to as Papera ) in the settlement of general criminal cases for TNI soldiers. Some other matters need to be regulated namely; the investigators shall be from the Military Police Officers, public prosecutors are carried out by the Military Prosecuting Attorney, and the judges are both Military and general Judges, as well as TNI soldiers whose sentences as convicts have been decided, are fostered in the Military Correctional Institution.
