Современные угрозы и обоснование изменений в регулировании экономической безопасности региона

The article considers the main approaches of the theory of economic security. The concepts of "ensuring economic security", "managing economic security", "regulating the economic security of the region" are studied. The impacts affecting the adaptive readiness of the regional economic security complex, reflected in the concepts of "threat", "risk", "factor", "challenge" are noted. The expediency of a multi-vector approach to the organization of regulatory impacts of state and municipal government bodies aimed at ensuring the economic security of the country's regions in the context of overcoming modern threats is determined. A thesis is formulated about the place of regulation of regional economic security as an integral link between the systemic federal level of national security and heterogeneous regions of the country. Using the example of Perm Krai, the dynamics of the main indicators of regional economic security and their relationship with similar indicators of the Volga Federal District and the Russian Federation are considered, and an assessment of existing trends is carried out. The analysis of the elaboration of regulatory and legal documents of the Perm Territory using the extrapolation method of processing official statistics information has established the insufficiency of the measures taken to improve strategic planning in the region in the context of taking into account changing factors and conditions of the external environment. Significant deviations of the achieved results in ensuring the economic security of the Perm Territory from the forecast values approved by the strategic planning documents have been revealed, in particular in achieving the planned indicators in the areas of industrial and environmental safety of the region. It is proposed to revise the content of regulatory documents with the corresponding budget and resource content for the timely adaptation of the region to modern threats and challenges. It is recommended to pay special attention to such areas of economic security of the Perm Territory as: technological sovereignty, investment security and environmental protection.

Исследование рисков экономической безопасности территорий в период неопределенности, вызванной пандемией

The article describes economic insecurity that occurs in a time of uncertainty and affects human development and social well-being. The authors defined indicators to analyze, identified and justified the vector of state policy, and studied the socio-economic issues of territorial development as a source of risks. The dataunder analysis were obtained from public sources, systematized, and subjected to economic analysis using the methods of absolute, relative, and mean values, as well as graphical and logical methods. The period under study covered 2018–2022, which made it possible to assess the impact of the uncertainty caused by the COVID 19 pandemic on the Russian federal districts by analyzing indicators of economic security. The research revealed economic and social risks, as well as the state policy in leveling them across the country. The pandemic triggered economic uncertainty, which destabilized the social well-being and development opportunities of the population in the regions. The current state policy provides long-term transformations and allows the population to adapt to changes.

Теоретические и практические аспекты формирования системы индикативных показателей диагностики экономической безопасности холдинговых структур

The article introduces the case of economic security analysis of the Romashin Technology Research and Production Holding, Obninsk, Russia. The author relied on various theoretical and practical aspects of economic security indicators as a system. The holding in Obninsk united seven enterprises, each of which conducted its own business activities. As a result, a timely preventive diagnosis of risks and threats became a rather complicated issue.The research objective was to identify and justify a set of economic security indicators for the holding in question. A comprehensive analysis of financial reports of all organizations within the holding made it possible to identify external and internal threats to the economic security of the entire holding and its parts. The diagnostics was carried out on the basis of safety indicators, which were divided into safety groups. If the indicators were outside the regulatory level, the holding was recommended to stabilize them. The study also revealed some opportunities for further development, as well as yielded measures to eliminate the negative external impact. Government Decree No. 351, March 12, 2022, allowed Russian companies not to publish reports, thus protecting them against potential harm from unfriendly countries. However, the Decree prevented the author from getting access to the current financial data, which made the analysis retrospective.

ENSURING ECONOMIC SECURITY: COMPARISON OF EU MEMBER STATES AND UKRAINE

The purpose of this paper is to conduct a comprehensive study of economic security in the EU Member States and Ukraine, to identify differences and to propose targeted policy interventions based on these differences. Methodology. The study uses a quantitative strategy that assigns numerical ratings to countries based on their performance against predefined thresholds for various economic security indicators. These indicators include industrial security, demographic security, energy security, foreign trade security, investment and innovation security, macroeconomic security, food security, social security and financial security. The study uses data from a variety of sources and applies a ranking system to reflect the level of economic security in each category. Results. The analysis revealed significant differences in the levels of economic security between EU Member States and Ukraine. The main findings include differences in agricultural efficiency, healthcare system efficiency, renewable energy consumption, trade balance, research and development expenditure, and socio-economic factors. For example, countries such as Belgium and Ireland have high yields, while Cyprus and Romania have much lower yields. Life expectancy and the quality of healthcare also vary: Spain and Sweden lead the way, while Bulgaria and Ukraine lag behind. Practical implications. The findings suggest the need for targeted policies and technological advances to improve economic security. For the younger generation, marketing strategies based on brand equity and exclusivity can continue even during economic downturns. For the older generation, strategies that focus on value for money or lower prices may be more effective. Understanding these metrics can help businesses align their strategies with national economic priorities and identify potential areas for investment and growth. Value / Оriginality. This study contributes to the existing literature by providing a detailed comparative analysis of economic security in the EU Member States and Ukraine, filling a gap in the understanding of the multifaceted aspects of economic security in these regions.

Method for determining the economic security of enterprises producing auto components based on a set of indicators

The article proposes a comprehensive method for determining the economic security of enterprises producing automotive components, based on an analysis of the definition of a set of indicators. The relevance of the study is determined by the high competitiveness and dynamic development of the automotive components market, which requires enterprises to pay close attention to ensuring their economic security. The theoretical research is based on the work of domestic scientists in the field of economic security, theories of crisis management, financial analysis and business valuation. The purpose of the article is to develop a method for determining the economic security of enterprises based on a set of indicators, such as: financial stability, diversification, competitiveness, etc. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of using the proposed method to assess the current level of economic security of an enterprise and develop measures to ensure it. The article provides calculations of economic security indicators and provides recommendations for ensuring it. The results of the study can be used by managers and owners of enterprises producing automotive components to make informed management decisions, by specialists in the field of economic security to develop systems for protecting enterprises from external and internal threats, teachers and students of economic universities in the educational process. This article is of interest to a wide range of readers interested in ensuring the economic security of enterprises in a competitive environment.

Analysis of the Relationship Between Fiscal Policy and Economic Security in Iraq

This research analyzes some indicators of fiscal policy, specifically focusing on public expenditure, government revenue, and the general budget balance. It also examines certain indicators of economic security, including the average GDP per capita, agricultural GDP, and non-oil GDP, in an attempt to measure the extent of influence and the role that these policies could play in achieving economic security during the years 2004 to 2021, particularly after the establishment of the political system in Iraq.Through study, analysis, and the use of quantitative methods in processing, the research reveals a disparity between the trajectories and orientations of fiscal policy and the achievement of economic security in Iraq. Fiscal policy has often been centered on the reliance on a single quarterly resource, namely oil revenues, resulting in the economy's persistent dependency and vulnerability to fluctuations in the global economy. This situation has had negative or positive implications for the living standards of Iraqi citizens

DETERMINANTS OF EXTERNAL ECONOMIC SECURITY OF UKRAINE IN 2010-2022

Objective. The objective of the present study is to analyze the level of economic security in general and foreign economic security of Ukraine in 2010-2021, in particular, to identify disincentive factors and stimulators of foreign economic security in 2010-2022. Methods. The following methods and techniques of cognition are applied: analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction (to justify the complementary relationship between economic and foreign economic security), analysis of series of dynamics (to identify the state and trends inherent in indicators of economic and foreign economic security of Ukraine), tabular (for visual presentation of factual data on the level and dynamics of economic and foreign economic security of Ukraine in 2010-2021 and 2010-2022, respectively ). Results. On the basis of the conducted study of the level of economic security in general and external economic security of Ukraine in 2010-2021, in particular, it is determined that during the period under the analysis, the level of economic security of Ukraine was on average 40%, foreign economic security – 35%, which corresponds to a dangerous state. At the same time, foreign economic security is proposed to be considered as the state of protection of the country's national economic interests in the field of foreign economic relations, which is based on the country's ability to ensure sustainable economic growth and increase the welfare of the population in the long term; protect their national resources and markets from external threats; influence world economic processes and defend their interests in the international arena. It is identified that the factors stimulating foreign economic security of Ukraine in 2010-2022 were: high level of openness of the economy; the specifics of export-import operations – the value of exports significantly exceeded the value of imports, a high level of focus on one geographical direction was observed – one foreign trade partner, one product; low level of processing of goods and specialization in trade in raw goods with a low level of processing; low level of utilization of the transit capacities of the gas transportation and oil transportation system; sufficiently high level of import dependence; insufficient level of diversification of the economy. It is determined that despite the lack of factors stimulating the country's foreign economic security during 2010-2022, the following positive trends are observed during this period: decrease in the openness of the national economy, decrease in the level of foreign trade dependence of Ukraine on leading partner countries, decrease in the level of dependence on export volumes countries from the leading product (product group).

УПРАВЛЕНИЕ РИСКАМИ ЭКОНОМИЧЕСКОЙ БЕЗОПАСНОСТИ ХОЗЯЙСТВЕННЫХ СИСТЕМ

Nowadays, the amount of uncertainty surrounding the processes of forecasting the further establishment of a business system is increasing, resulting in the need for new approaches for detecting and managing the economic security risks of business systems. The study aims to examine the current risks to the state and regions’ economic security, as well as to develop an efficient tool for managing the risks to business systems in order to improve their adaptability in turbulent periods. The authors set the following objectives: systematization of the economic security risks of business systems at the given stage; examination of the causes and features of current risks affecting the condition of the state’s economic security; and search for managing approaches for risks in order to improve the adaptability of business systems. The authors identified economic sustainability risks, potential development risks, and social welfare risks. They also proposed a system of indicators for detecting existing economic risks. The article analyzed certain indicators of economic security from 2019 to 2021 in order to identify areas of vulnerability in Russian business systems. The ground for the tension and the economic security risks were determined. The authors introduced their own approach for developing a management system for the economic security risks of business systems, including determining a level of uncertainty (high, moderate, or low), a level of risk (high, moderate, or low), and appropriate urgent and strategic measures on the spot.

СТАН ТА ЗАБЕЗПЕЧЕННЯ ФІНАНСОВО-ЕКОНОМІЧНОЇ БЕЗПЕКИ ПРОМИСЛОВИХ ПІДПРИЄМСТВ В УМОВАХ ЦИФРОВІЗАЦІЇ ЕКОНОМІКИ

In the conditions of the development of the digital economy, the variability of factors in the market environment, and the increase in the level of competition, an important issue for enterprises is the stability of functioning, the growth of indicators of financial activity. It was determined that the efficiency of enterprises, protection against threats, risks, detection of the influence of negative factors of the external environment largely depend on the state of economic security. It has been proven that an important component of economic security is financial security, the efficiency of financial activity depends on its stability, and the financial stability of the enterprise. It was found that in the conditions of digitalization of the economy, it is important to increase the level of financial and economic security, which will affect the performance of the enterprise, will allow to protect it from the influence of threats and risks, to form measures to neutralize their influence. The role of financial and economic security in the work of the enterprise was studied and its principles were determined. The analysis of the dynamics of the number of enterprises that carried out electronic trade in Ukraine was carried out and the importance of cyber security was established, which also affects the indicators of financial and economic security. The indicators of liquidity and financial stability were analyzed and an integral assessment of the financial and economic security of PJSC "Zaporizhstal" was carried out. The problems of achieving financial and economic security of PJSC "Zaporizhstal" were identified, and measures and directions for ensuring financial and economic security were formed, namely: attraction of funds in the form of international aid; creation of a financial and economic security management system; implementation of the strategy of financial and economic security; assessment of the state of financial and economic security and formation of appropriate measures; professional development of personnel; formation of reserves to improve the security situation; use of modern software products; reduction of operating costs due to optimization and digitization of online and offline operations; saving resources; introduction of new technologies and production of new types of products; development of management systems and quality assessment of individual technical works. Solving the issues of ensuring economic security in the conditions of digitalization will allow to improve financial and economic activity, to form competitive advantages and to determine directions of development.

Особенности формирования механизма стратегического управления экономической безопасностью государства в условиях цифровизации

This article summarizes the formation features of a mechanism for the strategic manage-ment of the economic security of the state in the conditions of digitalization. Trends in the state economic development of the states are increasingly dependent on information and communica-tion technologies, which means there is the need to transform national economies. Transforma-tional and modernizational changes lead to an increase in the relevance of scientific research to increase the economic security of the state and the formation of appropriate mechanisms. Global-ization and digitalization are significantly change the view on the problem of the state economic security, which determines the relevance and need to consider the mechanisms of ensuring it for sustainable economic growth. This is due to exogenous factors and security risks caused by digi-talization; therefore, this issue is relevant and requires further study. The purpose of the study was to substantiate approaches to the formation of a mechanism for strategic management of the state economic security in the context of digitalization. During the research, the basic concepts and approaches to determination of the state economic security as a system have been considered. The components of the mechanism for strategic management of the economic security of the state have been revealed. The current situation and indicators of economic security of the Russian Fed-eration have been studied. A mechanism for strategic management of the state economic security of in the context of digitalization has been developed. The methodological basis of the study was the theory of economic security and strategic management. During the research process, general scientific and special methods were used, namely: analytical; analysis and synthesis; abstract-log-ical; abstraction, graphic.

ВИЗНАЧЕННЯ ЗОН РИЗИКІВ ЕКОНОМІЧНОЇ БЕЗПЕКИ ПІДПРИЄМСТВ ЕЛЕКТРОЕНЕРЕГЕТИЧНОГО СЕКТОРУ ЕКОНОМІКИ УКРАЇНИ

The article examines the issue of the impact of risks on the formation and provision of economic security of enterprises in the electric power industry of Ukraine. Currently, the global economic crisis is dictating the conditions for the economies of almost all branches of industry, and for our country, waging war, on the one hand, had a negative impact on the economy of Ukraine, its investment attractiveness, on the other hand, the help of partners in response caused a chain reaction in the world financial system. The main goal of the electric power company is to increase competitiveness by providing high-quality electricity supply services, ensuring reliability and uninterrupted service for all types of persons (including legal consumers and the public). As a result of the analysis, the article presents the peculiarities of non-linear and open systems of electric power enterprises, which are prone to changing stages of stability and instability, namely the formation of four phases of functioning. This helped the author to form a model of comprehensive assessment of the economic security of an electric power enterprise and to present a system of indicators for its provision. This model is based on the identification of threats and the level of economic security, which will further be the object of enterprise research using a system of economic security indicators. The construction of a system of indicators of the economic security of an electric power enterprise is based on the following criteria: coverage of the most important markets and institutions; analytical significance; found usefulness; significance of institutions or crisis situations; accessibility; symmetrical display of information at the sector level; use of aggregated information; the use of a consolidated approach in order to avoid double accounting of the entity's capital and activity. The main indicators for determining the economic security of business entities have also been formed, which include a number of internal and external components. Thus, each of them includes a list of tools that, based on the aggregate results, certify the achievement of the appropriate level of economic security of the electric power enterprise.

Digitalization of Economic Security Management in Investment Security of Ukraine

Introduction. The study of economic security is relevant due to strengthening competition in the world market and military conflicts, which are becoming critical tasks for the state. Studying economic security makes it possible to identify the problematic aspects of a country's economy, find solutions, and develop strategies to ensure a sustainable investment policy. The specifics of changes in organizational models associated with digitalization also transform investment management systems. The most significant digital changes affect economic security, as the high openness of companies contributes to the emergence of various threats and risks to their activities. Therefore, it is essential to study the problems related to the risks of digital transformation within the framework of economic security management in the investment provision of Ukraine.
 Aim and tasks. The purpose of the study is to analyse problems and develop a recommendation for assessing the level of economic security when developing investment projects, taking into account the risks of digital transformation, for better preparation for future projects of post-war reconstruction in Ukraine.
 The results. This study developed a conceptual model for assessing the level of economic security, which includes the systematization of critical indicators of economic security and the organization of ensuring end-to-end transparency of information during the implementation of investment projects for the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine based on intelligent technologies. Software for assessing economic security using machine learning methods is proposed, which will allow forecasting the state of the enterprise's economic security for the entire implementation period of the investment project.
 Conclusions. This research proved that an enterprise's economic security is a complex and integral economic concept that requires studying the influence of several external and internal factors. Therefore, the established approach to assessing the state of economic security should cover all current investment processes and risks that arise in the context of the digitalization of enterprises, influencing the choice of critical indicators. Post-war reconstruction should be based on the modernization of the economy by improving the security of the business environment (reducing corruption, ensuring private property rights and strengthening the security of business activities) and the transition to a digital society.

Economic issue of using artificial neural networks with radial-basis transmission functions for modeling efficiency of management processes

ObjectivesThe paper presents the possibility of using artificial neural networks (ANN) with radial-basis transmission function (RBF) for modeling of economic phenomena and processes.Material and methodsThe basic characteristics and parameters of an ANN with RBF are shown and the advantages of using this type of ANN for modeling economic phenomena and processes are emphasized. Using an ANN with RBF, together with official statistics for 2010-2017, the modeling of the influence caused by work efficiency indicators of the customs authorities of Ukraine on the indicators of economic security of Ukraine was carried out. These eighteen indicators of economic security of Ukraine, which comprehensively characterize the economic status of the country in terms of production, social, financial, food, transport, energy, and foreign economic security, were chosen as the most informative indicators.ResultsThe results of the study showed that Artificial neural networks with Radial-basis transmission function well describe the trend of changing state economic security indicators under the influence of changing performance indicators of customs authorities. This allows us to recommend this type of artificial neural networks for analysis, evaluation and forecasting of economic phenomena and processes.ConclusionsThe results obtained showed good analytical and prognostic properties of an ANN with RBF when modeling the impact of customs authorities' performance on the state's economic security indicators.

Factors for ensuring the economic security of depressed regions in the context of digital transformation

Purpose: of the study is to determine the factors that have both a positive and a negative impact on the economic security of depressed regions.Methods: of statistical analysis and ratio assessment were applied in determining the economic security of depressed regions, as well as cluster analysis, in order to identify similar trends in regions, on the basis of which it is possible to identify factors that affect economic security. The study is based on the analysis of statistical data from EMISS, as well as data from the Expert RA rating agency. The calculations were performed using the following programs: Microsoft Office Excel 2016 (calculation of the values of the resulting indicators of economic security of depressed regions) and IBM SPSS Statistics 2019 (carrying out cluster analysis).Results: an assessment of the economic security of depressed regions was carried out. It was revealed that all regions have problems with financial stability and a low level of development of foreign economic activity. However, for a number of socio-economic indicators, the Altai Republic, Pskov Region, and Kalmykia Republic reach values above the Russian average, but the indicators of average per capita cash income still remain low. Based on the cluster analysis of regions, a number of factors influencing the economic security of depressed regions have been identified.Conclusions and Relevance: for each cluster, key factors influencing economic security have been identified. The processes of digital transformation, subject to their high-quality implementation, become a positive factor in ensuring economic security for regions that occupy low positions in socio-economic development. The primary factors for ensuring economic security for regions that make up another cluster are qualitative changes aimed at the economic growth of the region.

Formation of an Environmentally-Oriented System for Sustainable Economic Security in the Context of Inter-Organizational Agricultural Cooperation

Objective: The paper aims to analyze and develop a sustainable environmentally-oriented system of economic security in the inter-organizational cooperation of agricultural enterprises. Methods: The study utilizes the method of indicators and expert assessment of qualitative parameters under the proposed model of an environmentally-oriented system. Results: The study proposes an innovative approach to ensuring environmental safety in the agriculture sector to achieve the goals of environmental sustainability. When implemented, the environmentally-oriented system brings about an improvement in economic security indicators within the framework of inter-organizational interaction. Conclusion: For agricultural enterprises, the introduction of the socio-environmental-economic system translates into lower production costs, higher environmental and social responsibility, higher credibility with consumers, and the creation of a line of environmentally friendly products. As a result of the development of the concept of sustainable development of inter-organizational cooperation initiated by the growth of competitiveness, the intercompany level realizes the positive potential of impact on the company's activities through the improvement of indicators of the level of the environmentally-oriented system of economic security and, consequently, the overall level of economic security.

APPLICATION OF A SYSTEMATIC APPROACH FOR THE ANALYSIS OF THE ECONOMIC SECURITY OF ENTERPRISES IN THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR OF UKRAINE

Implementing measures to increase the economic security of strategically essential branches of the national economy is necessary to support the stability of regions and the national economy. Management at all levels should contribute to preventing the occurrence of critical externalities in the macroeconomic environment that can lead to negative consequences in the context of ensuring the country's socio-economic development. The fundamental nature of achieving a high level of long-term economic security is identifying key determinants capable of identifying and eliminating potential threats. It is essential to emphasize the need to support the country's food security and the conceptual provisions that must be reviewed concerning global processes such as food embargo, geopolitical confrontation, etc. Modern agriculture is in a difficult situation, and the economic condition of the entire agro-industrial complex requires the search for solutions to the problems of permanent development of each enterprise, considering the development of long-term economic security. Searching for ways to form more favorable ways of functioning is a strategic direction of economic policy at all levels of management. It requires several global measures to support agribusiness enterprises' current, medium-term, and long-term efficiency. Economic security of the agricultural sector as an economic category has a complex multi-level system structure: food; ecological safety; biological (resource); financial and credit; social; inventory management; social indicators; insurance provision; state regulation; agricultural cooperation; monitoring; agricultural information; agriculture and animal husbandry; cars; population employment; trade; wholesale food markets; scientific support. The system of full-fledged economic security of enterprises of the agrarian sector involves the development of its effective organizational and functional structure, which may include the scientific theory of economic security of the agrarian sector, the concept of food security, food policy, state, and public institutions that ensure economic security, organizational and economic mechanism, indicators and indicators of economic security, monitoring of the actual state of economic security of the agrarian sector.

ОСОБЛИВОСТІ ЗАБЕЗПЕЧЕННЯ ЕКОНОМІЧНОЇ БЕЗПЕКИ ПІДПРИЄМСТВ: КОМПЛАЄНС ПІДХІД

The article analyzes the state of economic security of domestic enterprises under martial law, identifies the main threats to their activity, outlines the main direct and indirect consequences of the influence of active hostilities on ensuring the economic security of economic entities. The need to change approaches to ensuring their effective functioning is determined, namely the expediency of using a compliance approach at industrial enterprises regarding the functioning of achieving sustainable development of an industrial enterprise, achieving a system of goals (social, economic, environmental, etc.) is substantiated. It was established that profit, as the ultimate goal of activity, loses its priority value. It becomes only one of the economic goals and fulfills the functional task of a means of achieving the system of enterprise goals. Not only traditional components (economic, social, environmental), but also indicators of economic security become important during the reconstruction and transformation of the development of the enterprise. A possible approach to the identification of a security component is to take into account an important factor - compliance-security, the use of which at the enterprise level determines the protection of its vital interests from external and internal violations of regulatory legal acts, standards, founding and internal documents of the enterprise by means of identification, assessment and maximum reduction (elimination) of compliance destroyers.

Economic security of regions: A prerequisite for diversifying the Azerbaijan economy

This article aimed to empirically substantiate the development of priority sectors to improve the economic security of the regions in Azerbaijan to achieve the goals of diversifying the national economy. We calculated an integral indicator of the economic security of areas by combining various socioeconomic development indicators, accounting for their variations from 2005 to 2022. The research established the relationship between the integral indicator of economic security in Azerbaijan's regions and the availability and efficiency of production factors in critical sectors of the economy, including Mining and quarrying, Manufacturing, Construction, Agriculture, forestry and fishing, and Trade. By applying the regression method, we concluded that agriculture and trade play a decisive role in increasing regional economic security in modern conditions. The research highlighted those growing factors: the number of employees, wages, and investments in fixed assets in these sectors, would be instrumental in achieving the adequate diversification of the country's economy.

Public health and national security proxies: Case of European countries

The COVID-19 pandemic has spurred transformations aimed at ensuring the effectiveness of the public health system and highlighted the need for a deeper study of the causal relationships between the parameters of healthcare system effectiveness and the national security. The aim of this study is to identify causal and temporal patterns in the impact of various types of healthcare expenditures on the components of national security. The study was conducted on a sample of 34 European countries for 2000-2021. In order to achieve the research objectives, integral indicators of economic, social, and environmental security were developed based on a complex combination of principal component analysis, Fishburn formula and additive convolution. Panel data regression modelling was employed to identify causal relationships between health care expenditures and those integral indicators. Finally, distributional-lag modelling (testing for the presence of a lag of up to 3 years) identified temporal patterns of the relationship between the indicators. Causal and temporal patterns of the relationship between health care expenditures and components of national security of the state were determined according to the modelling results.

The article analyzes the links between the indicators of the shadow economy and the indicators of economic security of the country. To carry out this analysis, the correlation analysis technique was used. Eight indicators characterizing the shadow economy have been identified. The indicators characterizing the threat of criminalization, the threat of unemployment, labor productivity, the threat of poverty of the population, the replenishment of the state budget are determined. The analysis confirmed the hypothesis about the negative impact of the shadow economy on: crime, the level of poverty of the population, labor productivity and replenishment of the state budget. An alternative point of view about the positive impact of the shadow economy on economic security in terms of neutralizing such a threat as unemployment is confirmed.
