Recommendations for Case Learning Based of Local Wisdom Integrated with The Exo Olo Task Learning Model in Implementing The Merdeka Curriculum at Senior High School in Ambon City

Learning in the era of independent curriculum development is an opportunity for educators and education units to improve competence. Active and participatory learning is one of the targets in developing learning to implement the independent curriculum. Case learning is something that can be applied to realize the learning objectives of the independent curriculum. this study aims to provide recommendations for developing learning in the implementation of an independent curriculum in Ambon City Public High School. The integration of the Exo Olo Task learning model developed in local wisdom-based case learning is part of what is developed in this goal. This research was conducted in the form of descriptive qualitative research. In this case, collaboration (cooperation) with several related parties (Stake holders) to develop a local wisdom-based case learning pattern that supports the implementation of an independent curriculum in Ambon City State High School. Data obtained through observations and interviews were analyzed using qualitative research techniques using the mile and huberman method and continued with policy direction analysis through AHP method analysis. Recommendations are given with priority to 1) Increasing the use of local wisdom cases as participatory teaching materials and media, 2) Development of strategies and mastery of educators in preparing lesson plans, 3) socialization of independent curriculum-based learning programs, 4) increasing partnerships in developing learning projects and improving character through the project of strengthening the profile of Pancasila students (P5), 5) educator literacy education through reflection with outputs in the form of scientific papers with a Consistency Ratio of 0.09.

Training of Resin Keychain Making Based on Local Wisdom for Supporting Independent Entrepreneurship Program of Independent Campus

The community service activity was carried out based on the results of a needs survey for community service implementation, which has been distributed to active students from various academic and vocational programs of Chemistry Education program in South Kalimantan. The need analysis survey results showed that students are already aware of the independent curriculum, but many of them are still unaware of the independent entrepreneurship program. In addition, students also hope for entrepreneurship training, such as keychain making training. The method used in the community service is the introduction to resin materials and training in making resin keychains. The training activities were conducted in the integrated laboratory of Universitas Islam Negeri Antasari with a total of 60 participants. The results obtained from this community service are that students acquire new skills in making resin keychains, which can be used as products for entrepreneurship. The pretest showed that initially the participants' insight did not know and recognize resin and catalyst materials, and the result of the posttest showed that the participants were able to be creative by using dried flowers, leaves, and grass typical of the surrounding area to produce beautiful resin key chains.

Development and evaluation of a risk prediction tool for risk-adapted screening of colorectal cancer in China

Risk prediction tools for colorectal cancer (CRC) have potential to improve the efficiency of population-based screening by facilitating risk-adapted strategies. However, such an applicable tool has yet to be established in the Chinese population. In this study, a risk score was created using data from the China Kadoorie Biobank (CKB), a nationwide cohort study of 409,854 eligible participants. Diagnostic performance of the risk score was evaluated in an independent CRC screening programme, which included 91,575 participants who accepted colonoscopy at designed hospitals in Zhejiang Province, China. Over a median follow-up of 11.1 years, 3136 CRC cases were documented in the CKB. A risk score was created based on nine questionnaire-derived variables, showing moderate discrimination for 10-year CRC risk (C-statistic = 0.68, 95 % CI: 0.67–0.69). In the CRC screening programme, the detection rates of CRC were 0.25 %, 0.82 %, and 1.93 % in low-risk (score <6), intermediate-risk (score: 6–19), and high-risk (score >19) groups, respectively. The newly developed score exhibited a C-statistic of 0.65 (95 % CI: 0.63–0.66), surpassing the widely adopted tools such as the Asia-Pacific Colorectal Screening (APCS), modified APCS, and Korean Colorectal Screening scores (all C-statistics = 0.60). In conclusion, we developed a novel risk prediction tool that is useful to identify individuals at high risk of CRC. A user-friendly online calculator was also constructed to encourage broader adoption of the tool.

Implementation of the Class 7 Teaching Campus Program in Increasing Students' Interest in Literacy and Numeracy

One of the independent learning programs organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture is the Teaching Campus. The aim of this research is to implement various campus teaching programs for grade 7 so that students' interest in literacy and numeracy increases. Data collection in this research used qualitative descriptive methods using observation, interviews and documentation. This research was conducted at SMPN 2 Ploso over a period of 4 months. The target of this research is grade 7 students. The results of the research show that the Teaching Campus program such as teaching assistance, the use of the words traffic and touch me as learning media, the application of watching educational films (NOKASI), and the existence of technological adaptation are able to improve students' learning abilities. interest in literacy and numeracy. However, there are still challenges in its implementation, especially in terms of classroom conditioning.Kata Kunci:Kampus Mengajar, Literasi, Numerasi

Makna Toleransi dan Persepsi terhadap Keberagaman Indonesia Melalui Kegiatan Modul Nusantara Pada Mahasiswa PMM 4 Inbound Universitas Jember

The Nusantara Module is one of the compulsory courses for students who take part in the Independent Student Exchange program. The content of the Nusantara module is social contribution, diversity, inspiration and reflection. The purpose of this research is to find out how tolerant and perceived Indonesian cultural diversity through Nusantara module activities for PMM 4 Inbound students of Jember University. The research method used is a qualitative research method, using the theory of symbolic interactionism of George Herbert Mead's thought. The results showed that the Nusantara Module course has a role in increasing the cultural tolerance attitude of inbound students of Jember University through; first, respecting and respecting diversity; second, preventing the emergence of ethnocentrism and in the Nusantara Module there are symbols used by Inbound students in interacting in order to implement tolerance attitudes and values.

Biological and psychosocial evidence in the Cass Review: a critical commentary

Background In 2020, the UK’s National Health Services (NHS) commissioned an independent review to provide recommendations for the appropriate treatment for trans children and young people in its children’s gender services. This review, named the Cass Review, was published in 2024 and aimed to provide such recommendations based on, among other sources, the current available literature and an independent research program. Aim This commentary seeks to investigate the robustness of the biological and psychosocial evidence the Review—and the independent research programme through it—provides for its recommendations. Results Several issues with the scientific substantiation are highlighted, calling into question the robustness of the evidence the Review bases its claims on. Discussion As a result, this also calls into question whether the Review is able to provide the evidence to substantiate its recommendations to deviate from the international standard of care for trans children and young people.

Intensive professional vehicle-based shooting provides local control of invasive rusa deer in a peri-urban landscape

Non-native deer are becoming increasingly common in peri-urban landscapes, where they pose a risk to the health and wellbeing of people. Professional vehicle-based shooting is commonly used to control deer populations in these complex landscapes, but the effectiveness and cost of this method have seldom been evaluated. We analyzed the effectiveness and cost of using professional vehicle-based shooting to reduce the abundance and impacts of non-native rusa deer (Cervus timorensis) in a peri-urban landscape in Wollongong, eastern Australia, during 2011–2021. We incorporated the results from an independent monitoring program into a Bayesian joint-likelihood framework to model spatio-temporal changes in rusa deer abundance. Finally, we used our findings to assess the effect of the management program on the number of complaints from the residents. After eleven years and the removal of 4701 rusa deer from Wollongong LGA (712 km2), deer abundance did not change in 74.7% of the area, decreased in 19.4% of the area (mostly in and around the sites where the professional shooting occurred), and increased in 5.9% of the area. Shooting was most cost-effective during winter when the longer hours of darkness meant that shooters could visit more sites. In contrast to deer abundance, the probability of residents complaining about deer increased in space and time. Our study shows that professional vehicle-based shooting can locally reduce the abundance of invasive deer in a peri-urban landscape, providing that sufficient control effort is expended. We suggest that shooting effort is currently too thinly spread across this peri-urban landscape, and that concentrating shooting effort on the areas of greatest deer abundance and resident complaints might be a more cost-effective strategy for managing invasive deer in peri-urban landscapes.

The purpose of this research is to analyse how the readiness of senior high schools in implementing the independent learning program towards the era of society 5.0. The method in this research uses a qualitative literature study with a focus on the discussion of the independent curriculum and the independent learning programme. Data collection techniques were carried out by identifying and analysing literature from 10 national and 5 international journals, as well as independent learning policy guidelines through the Ministry of Education and Culture, state laws and regulations and internet readings. The results of this study formulate how to deal with society 5.0 in education: The government must try to increase equitable development and openness to expand internet connections throughout Indonesia; The government must be able to synchronise education and industry so that later college and school graduates can work in their fields and in accordance with the criteria needed by industry to reduce unemployment in Indonesia in the future. The positive aspects of the independent learning programme are that teachers are more free to be creative in teaching as much as possible and get to know the interests, talents, needs, and abilities of students. Good cooperation between teachers, school administrators, agencies, parents, and other stakeholders in the independent learning programme can accelerate the achievement of the goals of the national education system. Technological developments are taking place increasingly rapidly, thereby changing the order of life in various aspects. This can also be seen from one of the government's efforts to integrate the independent campus independent learning program which has the aim of bringing students to become competent learners in the 21st century. Therefore, Community Service activities are carried out which have the aim of equipping Ibnu Sina IT Middle School Teachers. in applying ICT to learning. The ICT applied in learning is in the form of gamification-based microlearning with word walls. The method used in this activity is training and was carried out from August to September 2023. This training was carried out in 5 activity stages including: (1) observation, analysis of the situation and conditions of partners; (2) planning, in the form of providing solutions to problems faced by partners and preparing activity guide modules; (3) socialization of activity plans, distribution of activity guide modules, and things that need to be prepared in implementing training; (4) training and mentoring, namely the implementation of training in the form of an overview of microlearning, gamification and wordwall, which is then provided with mentoring in the wordwall; (5) monitoring and evaluation, in the form of usefulness of training, effectiveness and efficiency in implementation. Based on all stages of activity, the results are that teachers are able to use and implement gamification-based microlearning with wordwalls in learning.

Learning Tools Based on Outcome Based Learning in Science Courses of Postgraduate Primary School Teacher Education Programs

Curriculum development in higher education currently requires implementing the independent campus program. The independent campus program requires universities to be able to implement an output-based curriculum or outcome-based education. This research aims to analyze the need to develop learning tools based on outcome-based learning, especially in the core scientific subjects of primary school teacher education postgraduate programs. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection used questionnaire techniques, observation, and interviews with 14 lecturers as respondents. This research produced three important findings. First, all lecturers prepare learning tools before carrying out lectures. Second, 57.1% of lecturers prepared non-OBE-based learning tools. Third, 71.4% of lecturers need to learn about OBE-based learning tools. The education paradigm is changing from Input-Based to Outcome-Based Education (OBE). Education is reviewed and replaced with something more relevant, originally 'what is important for lecturers to teach' and has now changed to 'what is important for students to learn and master.' For this reason, it is necessary to develop OBE-based learning tools in core scientific subjects in Primary School Teacher Education Postgraduate Programs.

Implementation of Independent Curriculum Policy in Facing the Society 5.0 Era

The rapid development of technology in the era of society 5.0 is characterized by the rapid pace of information technology, this also makes various challenges appear in various aspects, one of which is education. The functions and objectives of National Education are none other than to develop capabilities and form distinguished national character and civilization in the context of educating the nation's life. In the education system in Indonesia. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach, through literature studies. Data collection was carried out by tracing various sources of literature or literature in the form of RI Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number: 262/M/2022, journals, and other documents related to the independent curriculum. The independent learning curriculum is presented as an answer to the occurrence of a comprehensive transformation in all aspects, especially the demands of human resources who are able to compete and adapt. The implementation of the independent curriculum in the era of society 5.0 for 12 years of compulsory education has been implemented since February 2022 by the MENDIKBUDRISTEK as one of the independent learning programs to improve the quality of learning. Monotonous learning is a barrier for students to demonstrate their abilities and competencies. The pattern of life that is happening is increasingly dynamic as if there are no limits, this is proven by the development of the world of technology which is growing rapidly. Therefore, education must be able to keep up with the dynamics of the times. In its application, the Merdeka curriculum must also be adapted to the conditions and characteristics of each school, so as to maximize existing potential. In this case, schools must be able to identify the needs and challenges faced, and develop appropriate strategies to overcome them. Thus, it is hoped that the learning process in schools can run well and produce quality output.

Analisis Kendala Guru dalam Penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka di Sekolah Dasar

This study aims to find out how the inhibiting factors become obstacles for teachers in implementing the independent learning program at SDN 2 Sanden. This research is descriptive qualitative research with the determination of informants using a purposive sampling technique. The sources of information for this research consisted of four class teachers and the school principal. Data collection techniques using interviews and observation. Test the validity of the data using the credibility test of the source triangulation technique. The data obtained was then analyzed using the Miles and Hurbermen technique or model which consists of data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. The results showed that there were many problems implementing the independent curriculum, one of which was the teacher's constraints in implementing the independent curriculum. The obstacles included difficulties in preparing learning tools according to the independent curriculum guidelines, lack of facilities and infrastructure, and teachers have difficulty adapting to the Independent Curriculum. Change cannot be obtained instantly, good cooperation is needed between all parties, both teachers, school principals, agencies, parents, and other related parties. The independent curriculum is expected so that students can develop according to their potential and abilities.

Food stamps: systematisation of Russian practice

The paper presents an analysis of food stamp programmes in Russia. These programmes are funding the purchase of food in the form of directed payments or auxiliary payment instruments. However, there is no unified concept of food stamps. Indeed, the separate regional programs are launched. They controlled both by the State and non-profit associations. Additionally, there are various practices in Russia using similar tools to ensure national food security. The paper attempts to formulate mandatory criteria for food stamps. It also presents a classification for assessment of food stamp programmes structure. Hence the work assesses the organisational changes in terms of digitalisation of food stamp programmes. Nowadays, the Russian Federation is in the process of accumulating experience in the use of food stamps. The independent programs are being launched and assessed in various regions, the regulatory framework for the launch of larger-scale projects are being developed, etc. The most significant change increasing the efficiency of using food stamps is the digitalisation of the process. Modern food stamps have undergone a profound organisational transformation through the use of digital tools. Their use is more convenient for all stakeholders and makes it possible to effectively provide food support to the indigent people. Hence introducing of food stamp programme in the Russian Federation will improve public access to food and contribute to an increase in living standards. Moreover, the programme expands the demand for food products, increases the economic stability of producers, and forms conditions for import substitution programmes for food production.

Pendampingan Legalitas PIRT Pada UMKM Hasil Olahan Laut Di Desa Padelegan Kecamatan Pademawu Kabupaten Pamekasan

Padelegan village is a village that has a variety of processed seafood. Padelegan village has several MSMEs managed by the des aitu community itself. MSME products produced are in the form of processed marine products. Such as anchovy krispi, crab crackers, rengginang lorjuk, and others. The problem experienced by MSMEs in Padelegan Village is that they do not have a PIRT permit which has an impact on product distribution. The solution to this problem is the existence of Pirt permits which will have an impact on product distribution because consumer confidence increases. Community service activities through the Independent Community Service grant program aim to assist MSME actors in applying for Pirt permits. The method of community service consists of several stages, namely preparation, discussion, implementation and assistance, monitoring and evaluation. The method used in this service is to provide assistance in the management of household industrial production certificate (PIRT). Visibility of International Rotations on Plastic Surgery Program Websites.

Plastic surgery residency programs are offering increasing opportunities for international rotations, recognizing the importance of early exposure and the need to promote better capacity building in host countries. While a greater number of residency programs are offering international opportunities, it is not clear whether applicants are aware of these opportunities based on program websites. The purpose of this study was to determine the availability and ease of access to international rotation information on plastic surgery residency websites. All 101 integrated and independent program websites were visited and assessed for information on international rotations. Programs were noted for any information about rotations and ease of access was determined based on the location of information on the website (homepage, 1 or 2 clicks from homepage, and greater than 2 clicks). Approximately 33% of programs offered any information on international rotations on their program websites. Thirty-six percent of these program websites displayed information on their homepage ("Easy"); 30% of these programs displayed their information 1 or 2 clicks away from the homepage ("Moderate"); and 33% of these programs displayed their information greater than 2 clicks away from the homepage ("Difficult"). Previous studies have established that international rotations are widely available to plastic surgery residents, but this study revealed that only a minority of residency programs are advertising this opportunity on their websites. These data may serve to galvanize faculty to increase website visibility of available international rotations to better promote their programs and attract prospective residents who seek opportunities in global health care.

Tutor Competence in Online-Learning Service within Distance Education

The online learning landscape in the Elementary Teacher Education (PGSD) program at Universitas Terbuka Makassar poses significant challenges for tutors, requiring them to adapt to new pedagogical approaches and technologies. This study investigates the competence of tutors in facilitating synchronous online-learning tutoring (Tuweb UT) and asynchronous Learning System Management (LMS) through Silayar UT, which integrates an independent learning program into online platforms. The study examines the tutors' social, strategic, and ethical competence in managing online classes, with a focus on their preparation, planning, and interaction with students. The study uses an ex post facto design with descriptive statistics, analyzing data from 185 tutors in 340 online classes within the undergraduate PGSD program during the 2022 registration term. The findings highlight the tutors' ability to prepare and plan for online tutoring, deploy the tutoring unit (SAT) as a learning service scheme, and incorporate relevant competencies and module characteristics into their tutoring mode. The study also shows that tutoring assignments are given in accordance with competence and that active engagement in Webinar UT and LMS (Silayar UT) is high, with attendance averaging 93.03%. The results indicate that tutors are competent in preparing and planning for online tutoring, incorporating online platforms into their experiences, and fostering active interaction with students, which in turn supports the completion of students' academic trajectories. The study's implications for online learning practices are significant, highlighting the importance of tutor competence in navigating the challenges of online education. Recommendations for further research include exploring the impact of tutor competence on student outcomes and investigating the role of technology in enhancing tutor-student interaction.

Peran Program Kampus Merdeka terhadap Peningkatan Kualitas Mahasiswa

This independent campus is a new policy which will bring changes in education so that it becomes freer with an innovative learning culture. The programs offered by the independent campus are very diverse, adapting to the needs of each student and university. This research aims to determine changes in the quality and skills of students who join the independent campus program. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a literature research type. Data collection in this research uses documentation study techniques by analyzing the contents of previous documents or journals that are relevant to the topic being studied. The data sources in this study are various books and journals. The research results show that the implementation of the independent campus program is effective in improving the quality of students in preparing themselves to enter the world of work. In the era of industrial revolution 5.0, student’s abilities must be further improved because competition will be increasingly fierce, so the MBKM program is very helpful.
