Hubungan Kematangan Emosi dengan Perilaku Agresif pada Siswa SMK

This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional maturity and aggressive behavior in vocational students. This research was conducted on SMK class X students. The sample in this study amounted to 135 students with probability sampling techniques. The type of research used in this study is quantitative research. The measurement tool used for data collection uses the emotional maturity scale and the aggressive behavior scale. Statistical data analysis using Pearson product moment analysis test with the help of SPSS statistics version 26. The correlation coefficient obtained is -0.426 with a significance value of 0.000 (p<0.05). These results show that the hypothesis proposed by the researcher is accepted. And the value of the negative correlation coefficient shows that the direction of the relationship between the two variables is negative, meaning that the higher the emotional maturity, the lower the aggressive behavior.

Participatory Planning in the Special Allocation Fund Preparation Process in Sleman Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta

The theory and practice of urban planning have both shown a significant amount of attention in regards to community participation. Numerous studies have added to the growing body of literature highlighting the benefits of community participation in city planning and management. On the other hand, the literature on participation contains just a handful of theory-based empirical studies that investigate the role of community participation in the planning process of special fund programs in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This research method uses quantitative analysis involving data collection using probability sampling techniques to collect data from 64 respondents. After that, a survey was conducted with the help of a questionnaire that was given out to respondents in order to obtain sample data. After that, the data that was gathered were examined by means of multiple regression analysis, which was carried out with the assistance of the SPSS Statistics 25 program. The results of this study indicate that knowledge, awareness, social media, political culture, and education have a positive and significant effect on community participation. This shows that active community participation in the special fund preparation program in the Special Region of Yogyakarta can be more targeted according to community needs.

Efficacy of Laparoscopic-Assisted Subcostal Transversus Abdominis Plane (TAP) Block: A Double-Blind, Randomized Controlled Trial

Objective: To analyze efficacy of laparoscopic administered Transversus Abdominis Plane (TAP) block on pain scores and opioid consumption in the first 24 hours in patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Study design and setting: The randomized, double-blinded trial was conducted in surgical unit, Shalamar Medical & Dental College Lahore from September 2019 to March 2020. Methodology: 100 patients of either gender scheduled for elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy were included using consecutive probability sampling method. After informed consent, patients were randomized into Intervention TAP GroupA and Control Group-B. Intervention TAP Group-A received laparoscopic aided TAP block with 20ml 0.5% Ropivacaine in subcostal region while Control Group-B received 20ml saline solution which was used as placebo. Both groups received paracetamol 1gm intravenous eight-hourly and Ketorolac 30mg intravenous 12-hourly. Nalbuphine 5mg intravenous was administered as “rescue analgesic” in patients having pain score of four or above. Postoperative pain scores at rest and on coughing were documented using numerical rating scores (VAS) at 2, 4, 6, 12, and 24 hours. Results: There was a significant difference (p-value=0.038, 0.000, 0.025, 0.000, 0.000) in pain scores over the first 24 hours postoperatively in laparoscopically assisted Intervention TAP Group-A. The total nalbuphine consumption was significantly reduced in Intervention TAP Group-A as compared to Control Group-B. Conclusions: Laparoscopic administered TAP block significantly reduced postoperative pain and total opioid consumption following laparoscopic cholecystectomy

The aim of this study is to identify and analyse the impact of Financial Inclusion, Financial Literacy on investment decisions through Financial Self-Efficacy on employees working in the banking sector of Jakarta region. This research uses a quantitative approach, the type of data in this study uses primary data obtained from the spread of the questionnaire. The population in this study is employees who work in the banking sector in the area of Jakarta, this study uses the Probability Sampling Technique that is Simple Random sampling so that the sample used is equal to 100 respondents. Data processing in this study uses SmartPLS. The results of this research show that the Financial Inclusion has an effect on Financial Self-Efficacy, Financial Literacy has no effect on Financial Self-Efficacy, Financial Self-Efficacy has no effect on Investment Decisions, Financial Inclusion has no effect on Investment Decisions, Financial Literacy has no effect on Investment Decisions, Financial Inclusion has no effect on Investment Decisions through Financial Self-Efficacy and Financial Literacy has no effect on Investment Decisions through Financial Self-Efficacy.

The Effect of Self-Regulation on Academic Stress Among Tahfidz Students at MA Ulumul Qur'an Pagar Air

Self-regulation is an individual's ability to manage thoughts, feelings, emotions, and behaviors to meet the standards and goals they aim for as evidence of self-improvement. This ability is particularly essential for Qur'an memorization students (santri tahfidz), who not only study general subjects but also have to memorize the Qur'an. The objective of this study is to examine the influence of self-regulation on academic stress among Qur'an memorization students at Madrasah Aliyah Ulumul Qur’an Pagar Air. The research method used is quantitative. The subjects in this study consist of 146 students from Madrasah Aliyah Ulumul Qur’an Pagar Air, with the sample selected using a probability sampling technique, specifically simple random sampling. Data collection was conducted using the Likert scale method by distributing questionnaires to the research subjects. Data analysis was carried out using a simple linear regression test. The results showed that there is an influence of self-regulation on academic stress among Qur'an memorization students at Madrasah Aliyah Ulumul Qur’an Pagar Air, with an R Square value of 0.276, an F value of 55.028, and a significance value of 0.000. The influence of self-regulation on academic stress among these students is 27.6%. The aspect of self-regulation that has the highest impact on academic stress in this study is self-reflection.

Primary care experiences of adults reporting learning disability: a probability sample survey.

Background Adults with learning disability face multiple adversities, but evidence on their needs and primary care experiences is limited. Aim To compare the characteristics and primary care experiences of adults reporting learning disability with those who did not. Design and setting An analysis of the 2022 General Practice Patient Survey, a national probability sample survey conducted in 2022 with people registered with NHS primary care in England. Method This analysis reports descriptive profiles, weighted and with 95% confidence intervals. Logistic regression models adjusting for gender, age, ethnicity, and area-level deprivation compared experiences of adults reporting learning disability with those who did not. Results Survey participants comprised 623,157 people aged 16 or older, including 6,711 reporting learning disability. Adults reporting learning disability were more likely to be male, younger, of mixed or multiple ethnicities, and live in more deprived areas. All chronic conditions included in the survey were more common in adults reporting learning disability, especially reported sensory, neurodevelopmental, neurological, and mental health conditions. Adults reporting learning disability were twice as likely to have a preferred GP, and less likely to find their practice's website easy to navigate. They were also less likely to have confidence and trust in their healthcare professional, or feel their needs were met. Conclusion Adults reporting a learning disability had a higher likelihood of chronic health conditions. Their reported experiences of primary care indicate that despite recent initiatives to improve services offered, further adaptations to the consistency and ease of access to primary care is needed.

Benefits from Kipsigis Women Engaging in Socio-Economic Activities in Kericho and Bomet Counties, Kenya

Purpose: To investigate the impact of Kipsigis women group economic activities and how the public perceive this new undertaking in Kericho and Bomet Counties in Kenya. Methodology: The study used a qualitative research design, where different components of the study addressed the research problem. Probability sampling technique was used to select the participants in the study. The methods used to interrogate the participants included: focus group discussions, observation and face to face interviews. Each participant responded to the questions individually, as posed in the interview guide. This was later collected by the researcher for perusal and recording of the result that was compiled along with those from other methods. Along with the focus groups discussions, the researcher selected topics related to the topic of the study for discussion in the groups. The questions used in the different methods were posed to the participants who had been purposively selected to represent the rest of the population. This was done with the view of collecting the data that was later analyzed using tools such as NVivo or done manually. This study manually analyzed the data collected from the participants through the afore-mentioned research techniques for collecting the data. Findings: The findings showed that there was recognition of women’s contribution in society. The results from Bomet County indicated that 52% have embraced and supported women’s group activities, 24% see such group activities as making the women responsible and hardworking while another 24% feel that the women are not well supported in their group economic activities. In Kericho County, the results indicated that 54% felt that women’s contribution would improve living standards and another 46% felt that the group ability would significantly improve. The study also sought to find out the effect of women engaging in socio-economic activities on the home and family. The results from women in Kericho County show that 96% indicated that there was a positive effect on family and society as stated in the research outcome, 4% said there was no effect. The results from Bomet County showed that 98% of participants agreed that the women involvement in economic activities had a positive effect on family and society. Two percent were of the feeling that there was no effect on the home and family. Bomet had a percentage of respondents who indicated that women have not contributed much through their involvement in economic activities. Unique Contribution to Theory, Practice and Policy: The Critical Social Theory helps in understanding social functioning and behavior among gender groups in the society, where men and women roles among the Kipsigis is very distinct. Women assigned roles are undertaken by women and girls as their responsibilities lies in the kitchen and around the home. This is where the small children and the elderly are, and the women and the older girls are expected to undertake those roles without question.

Gender Differences in Variability in Intimate Relationship Satisfaction: A Secondary Analysis and Meta-Analysis.

There is a long-standing interest in gender differences in satisfaction in intimate relationships. Whereas prior research has focused on gender differences in central tendency (i.e., means), we conducted two studies - a secondary analysis of data from a probability sample of Australian married couples and a meta-analysis - to examine gender differences in variability (i.e., variances). We hypothesized that compared to males, females would demonstrate greater variability in intimaterelationship satisfaction (i.e., greater female variability hypothesis), particularly at lower levels of relationship satisfaction. Results from a secondary analysis of data from 2,711 married couples in the Household, Income and Labour Dynamics in Australia (HILDA) survey and from a meta-analysis of 20 years of research (k = 171, N = 84,976), including independent samples from 33 countries, indicated that relative to males, females reported greater variability in relationship satisfaction. Obtained effect sizes (female-to-male variance ratios [VRs] of 1.42 for the HILDA sample and 1.19 for the meta-analysis) were larger than proposed cutoffs for meaningful group differences in variability. Analysis of tail ratios (ratios of the relative proportion of females divided by the relative proportion of males in the distributional tail regions) in the HILDA sample indicated that gender differences in variability were greater at lower (versus higher) levels of satisfaction. Findings support the greater female variability hypothesis and suggest that by focusing only on gender differences in means, the existing literature has underestimated gender differences in intimaterelationship satisfaction.

Awareness and use of support services following mass violence incidents

Mass violence incidents (MVIs) result in significant psychological distress for survivors and the broader community. Support services (mental health services, support groups, religious support) can buffer negative effects of MVIs and facilitate recovery. However, the extent to which community members are aware of and use support services post-MVIs is unknown. A probability sample of 5991 adults (Meanage = 45.6, SD = 17.6), mostly female (53%) and White (71%), were recruited from six communities that had experienced an MVI. Participants answered questions on their awareness and use of support services after the MVI and completed measures assessing predisposing, enabling, and need factors that may influence service use. Approximately 20% of participants reported they were aware of mental health services, 20% reported awareness of support groups, and 16% reported awareness of religious support. Younger participants with higher income (predisposing factors), high social support (enabling factor), and direct MVI exposure and psychological distress (need factors) were more likely to report awareness of support services. Of those aware of services, approximately 21% reported using support services. Those with direct MVI exposure and psychological distress were more likely to use each type of service. Otherwise, use of mental health services, support groups, and religious support varied across predisposing factors (race, age, income). Overall, findings suggest there is limited awareness of support services post-MVI, despite the well-documented mental health burden after these incidents. This suggests the need for improved communication about available services after MVIs.

Friends, neighbors, country, and respect: Status ladders and health behaviors in the United States

Efforts to understand the relationship between socioeconomic status (SES) and health have expanded beyond traditional indicators of education, income, occupation, and wealth to individuals’ own reports of where they stand. This more contemporary approach has enjoyed considerable success, in that self-reported SES standing, often measured on a ladder representing the entire U.S. socioeconomic hierarchy, is associated strongly with health even when traditional SES indicators are controlled. However, disparities in self-rated health across ladder measures typically are not assessed with regard to health behavior disparities. Here, we draw on two US national probability samples assessing diverse ladder reference groups, as well as a new ladder asking people to report how much respect, honor, or esteem they receive from other people. Respect or honor offers a distinct potential to measure social influence across circles of recognition. We find that U.S.-based ladder status is related to smoking currently or ever and to days of exercise. While friend, neighbor, and respect-based ladders do not relate to health behaviors net of U.S. ladder standing, they show relationships to ever smoking and physical activity, and self-rated health, in their own right. Physical activity accounts for 12–18% of self-rated health disparities by friend, neighbor, or country ladder status. Smoking and drinking do not robustly contribute to ladder-based disparities in self-rated health. Contrasting what is typically found for traditional SES measures, physical activity merits further research, as does the receipt of respect or honor. That status ladder health disparities go largely unexplained by behaviors suggests the potential roles of non-behavioral pathways including inflammation, hopelessness, or classism.

The Effect of Tam Factor on Repurchase Intention in E-Satisfaction Mediation on the Millenial Generation: Study on Go-Pay E-Wallet

Every firm in technology industy needs to adapt in the current business environtment so they can adapt and survive in the midst of intense competition. Technology Aceptance Model (TAM) is one of the tools that can be used to penetrate the current business environtment. The purpose of this study is to analyse the effect of TAM factor on repurchase intentention using e-satisfaction as mediating effect. The variable used in this study are security, ease of use, privacy concern, e-satisfaction, repurchase intention. This research use quantitative method using quesionaaires. The population used in this study are millennial generation in the city Surabaya who used e-wallet Gopay. The sampling technique in this research is using non probability sampling and consisted of 385 people. Data were analyse using SEM-PLS method. From the result of the study concluded that among all variable were found to have positive and significant effect towards repurchase intention exlude the variable of privacy concern.

Pengaruh Pengalaman Auditor Terhadap Kualitas Audit Dimoderasi Penerapan Teknologi Informasi

This study aims to examine the effect of auditor experience on audit quality moderated by the application of information technology. The subjects of this study were auditors from public accounting firms (KAP) holding registered CPAs in Indonesia listed in the 2023 IAPI Directory, with the object of research on competence, auditor experience, audit quality, and application of information technology. The population in this study amounted to 3276 lists of CPA holders in Indonesia listed in the 2023 IAPI Directory. Determination of the sample in this study using Probability sampling technique by selecting simple random sampling technique. The number of samples needed for this study were 97 respondents. The type of data used in this study is primary data. The data analysis method in this study uses the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach using the WarpPls 8.0 analysis tool. The results of this study found that auditor experience has a significant effect on audit quality. The application of information technology cannot moderate the effect of auditor experience on audit quality.

Evaluate the Knowledge about the WHO- Recommended Antenatal Visits among Antenatal Mothers in the Outpatient Department

One of the most crucial aspects of the World Health Organization's family welfare program in India is the promotion of maternal and child health. ANC is the care given to women during pregnancy to ensure that both the mother and the kid remain healthy. Reducing infant and mother mortality and morbidity as well as promoting, protecting, and preventing maternal and perinatal health are beneficial for the long-term growth and development of the nation. Sadly, a lot of women in underdeveloped nations do not get this kind of care.  Objectives: Assess the knowledge of WHO recommended ANC visit among pregnant women..  Methodology:  Research Approach: Qualitative study,  Research Design: Descriptive study,  Population: Antenatal mothers Antenatal mothers who are attending OPD.  Sample Size: The sample size consider of 30 antenatal mothers.  Sample Technique: Non probability sampling convenient sampling techniques adopted in this study.  Result: This study had given some clues that majority 22 (74%) of them had moderate knowledge. 6 (20%) of them had inadequate knowledge, 2(7%) of them had adequate knowledge about antenatal mothers.  Conclusion: This study experiences helped the investigator to spell out some recommendations and develop a self- instructional module so as to improve the knowledge about antenatal mothers.

Effects of Compensation Benefits on Employee Engagement for Private Family Business Schools

The effects of compensation and benefits on employees’ engagement levels in selected private family business schools (PFBSs) in the Eastern Cape, South Africa are investigated in the study. Several pieces of literature affirmed that employee engagement levels in South African schools are low despite the crucial role played by employees in implementing the teaching and learning programs of the schools. The study is to determine the extent to which employee engagement in PFBSs is predicted by remuneration and benefits. The study employed a quantitative positivist research paradigm and a case study technique to examine the impact of pay and benefits on employee engagement levels in PFBSs. A six-step sampling model was adopted, and a probability sampling technique was utilized. Nonparametric statistical analyses were done, and the results revealed that increasing employees’ compensation and benefits is key to improving employees’ engagement levels in PFBSs. All ethical requirements, such as respondents’ anonymity, informed consent, and confidentiality, were adhered to throughout the study. The study recommended that PFBSs are encouraged to have a compensation and benefits portfolio that competes favorably well with other educational institutions locally and abroad to retain a well-engaged set of employees. The study concluded that a large-scale survey be carried out to investigate the impact of compensation and benefits to PFBSs in another country rather than South Africa to compare findings.

Analysis of data from a national micronutrient survey with a linear mixed model: estimates, predictions and lessons for future surveys

Background: Because micronutrient deficiencies affect public health, countries monitor population status by national-scale, multi-stage, micronutrient surveys (MNS). In design-based surveys, inclusion probabilities are specified for sample units and the corresponding sample weights allow design-unbiased estimates to be made of population parameters. Corrections may be possible on departures from the design; an alternative is to use linear mixed models (LMM), with an estimated covariance structure reflecting the sampling design, to obtain model-based estimates. Design: The Ethiopia National Micronutrient Survey (2016) specified inclusion probabilities at enumeration area (EA) and household (HH) levels, and sample weights are provided. However, the design was not followed as it would have resulted in insufficient sampling from women of reproductive age. Results: Having found no evidence that sample weights were informative for target serum micronutrient concentrations (Zn), we estimated LMM parameters, with Regions as fixed effects, and the variation of individuals nested within households, households within EA, and EA within regions, random effects. We obtained LMM standard errors, Best Linear Unbiased Estimates (BLUEs) of regional means, and empirical Best Linear Unbiased Predictions for sampled/unsampled EA and HH. The probability that each true regional mean exceeded the sufficiency threshold [Formula: see text] was evaluated. The variances of BLUEs of regional means, under alternative sampling designs, were bootstrapped from LMM variance components. Conclusions: We demonstrate use of LMM to obtain model-unbiased estimates and predictions when surveys deviate from the original design; and the use of LMM variance components to evaluate alternative designs for further sampling, or for sampling comparable populations.

PMformer: A novel informer-based model for accurate long-term time series prediction

When applied to long-term time series forecasting, Informer struggles to capture temporal dependencies effectively, leading to suboptimal forecasting accuracy. To address this issue, we propose PMformer, a novel model based on Informer for long-term time series prediction. First, we introduce a probabilistic patch sampling attention mechanism that utilizes a patch-based strategy to compute attention scores within randomly selected sequence patches. This localized approach enhances the model's capability to capture local temporal dependencies, allowing it to better understand and process critical local features in time series while reducing computational complexity. Additionally, we propose a multi-scale scaling sparse attention technique that balances attention distribution by combining coarse- and fine-grained attention scores, thereby improving the model's ability to capture global sequence information. Finally, we design a dilated causal pooling layer and a multilayer perceptual cross self-attention decoder to further enhance the model's prediction accuracy by capturing key information in long-term correlations and precisely focusing on sequences. We conducted experiments on both multivariate and univariate time series forecasting tasks. The results show that PMformer outperforms six baseline models, including PatchTST and FEDformer, in terms of MAE and MSE metrics. This demonstrates its superior ability to capture temporal dependencies, achieving more accurate predictions.

Interfacing triple bottom line sustainability and metropolitan governance: An empirical exploration of stakeholder value co-creation and conflict

The importance of metropolitan governance and stakeholder collaboration in sustainable urban development (SUD) is well recognized. However, collaboration among stakeholders is dynamic, and the relationship between metropolitan governance and stakeholder dynamics, including value co-creation and conflict, remains underexplored. This study aims to address this gap by examining the causal relationships among metropolitan governance, stakeholder value co-creation and conflict through the lens of the triple bottom line (TBL) of sustainability. Using a questionnaire survey, this study collected 467 valid responses through a combination of probability and quota sampling and analyzed the data using Structural Equation Modeling. The results indicated that stakeholder value co-creation is positively influenced by TBL dimensions and metropolitan governance, thereby simultaneously promoting SUD and generating potential conflicts that constrain SUD. The study further evaluated the effectiveness of stakeholder value co-creation as a mediating variable and found that it has a unique suppressing effect on the relationship between environmental sustainability and conflict. The findings suggested that environmental sustainability-driven governance initiatives are crucial to containing conflict and fostering value co-creation among stakeholders. Theoretically, this study enriches the discourse on SUD literature by quantifying the interactions between TBL, metropolitan governance and stakeholder dynamics. Practically, it provides certain implications for relevant practitioners by proposing an argument that governance initiatives can be aligned with the shifting priorities toward environmental sustainability.

Academic Tutoring and Academic Performance: An Analysis at UNSM

This study explores the relationship between the comprehensive tutoring system and the academic performance of students at the National University of San Martín (UNSM). The study addresses the issues faced by the institution, whose tutoring programme lacks a coordinated approach between faculties, a strong clinical psychology team, and teachers with adequate tutoring skills, resulting in a loss of student interest. The aim was to determine whether there is a significant relationship between the comprehensive tutoring system and academic performance. A quantitative methodology with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design was used. A questionnaire was applied to 342 students selected through stratified probabilistic sampling, and their academic performance was analysed. The results indicated that, although most students perceived the tutoring system as acceptable, no significant correlation with their academic performance was found. In conclusion, the current tutoring system does not appear to directly influence academic performance, suggesting a need to review its structure and integration. This study addresses a gap in the literature by examining the relationship between tutoring and academic performance in Peruvian universities, aligning with SDG 4 (Quality Education). Future studies should investigate contextual and personal factors that may influence academic performance.

Topological analysis of the three-dimensional radiodensity distribution of fish otoliths: Point sampling effects on dimensionality reduction

Otoliths are calcified structures found in the inner ears of teleost fish, pivotal in marine biology for studies on metabolism, age, growth, and the identification of fish stocks, potentially leading to sustainable management practices. An important feature of this structure is its density, as it corresponds to modifications in the crystalline form of calcium carbonate during the fish's lifetime, resulting in variations in its final shape. The internal and external 3D radiodensity of otoliths from different species was obtained utilizing micro-computed tomography, however, an appropriate methodology for describing and conducting comparative studies on these data appears to be absent in the current body of literature. Therefore, we study otolith density variations from 3D computed tomography images, employing the Ball Mapper technique of Topological Data Analysis. We focus on reducing the computational cost of this analysis by applying probabilistic sampling and assessing its effects on the density variations provided by the Ball Mapper graph. To determine the sample size, we used the topology to establish what we term "Topological Sample Validation", which provided the minimum resolution with the same density information as raw data. Sample representativeness was validated through non-parametric statistical tests on the density variable. Based on the network's structural characteristics, network properties allowed for evaluating similarity between graphs. Besides the small sample size, remarkable correlations were obtained between age and network variables. Additionally, the Ball Mapper technique proved effective as a preprocessing algorithm for tomographic images, enabling the segmentation of undesired features in the object of interest.
