Sustainability analysis in mining applications are gaining prominence in recent years owing to its extra beneficial characteristics on overall operations. This study considers the magnesium ore as a replacement material and sought to include as the reinforcements of Al7075 by which most of the mining operations are bound. Composite materials are ruling the world with various applications, owing to these benefits, materials engineers are introducing several new composite materials. In the quench of better composite material, several investigations are being carried out, in which optimization of inclusion of reinforcements play a vital role. This study considers one such problem in which the reinforcements for Al7075 has been investigated with different reinforcement materials including B4C and Mg. For the optimization purpose three different reinforcement propositions were considered in this study including 3%, 5%, 7% of B4C and 1% Mg respectively. These three different propositions were compared with the conventional alternative Al7075. This study includes different experimental studies to optimize the considered proportions including mechanical and tribological characteristics. Under the standard observations, the experimental procedures were conducted, and further results revealed that inclusion of 7% of B4C and 1% of Mg particle reinforcement in Al7075 provides overall high performance in all considered experiments. Finally, recommendations were given for this new proposed composite material proposition with shedding some lights on future scope.
