Nanotechnology offers outstanding advancements in pesticide potency, nutrient use efficiency, and environmental safety, addressing key challenges related to conventional agricultural practices. Nano-sensors enable early detection and targeted application, while nano-fertilizers improve nutrient delivery and pest control. However, regulatory gaps, high costs, and issues about nanoparticle safety present barriers to widespread adoption. Future research should prioritize understanding the environmental fate of nanoparticles, developing biodegradable options, and integrating these technologies with precision agriculture tools.
