Economic Potential of Coastal Communities in Regional Development in Timbala Village, West Poleang District, Bombana Regency

This research aims to examine the economic potential of coastal areas as an effort to develop the region in Timbala Village, West Poleang District, Bombana Regency. This study uses a library research type that relies on various literature as sources of research data. The research results can conclud that Timbala Village has great potential for development because it offers various significant opportunities to improve community welfare. With a wealth of natural resources such as fisheries, tourism, and industry, Timbala Village has a strong foundation for local economic development. In addition, its tourism potential, including beaches, coral reefs, and marine biodiversity, can be a driving force for a sustainable economy. Infrastructure development and community empowerment are the keys to optimizing this potential. Through sustainable environmental conservation efforts and wise use of resources, it is hoped that Timbala Village can achieve a higher level of prosperity for its entire community. The synergy between various parties, including the government, community, and private sector, will be the key to success in developing the coastal potential of Timbala Village.

Unraveling the threads: Palm oil, transmigration, and exclusion in Mantadulu, South Sulawesi

Background: Palm oil plantations and transmigration in Indonesia, implemented since the New Order era until now, aim to boost economic growth with the intended consequence of improving community welfare, particularly for transmigrants and local residents. Methods: This study employed a case study approach focusing on Mantadulu Village in East Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi. Data was collected through secondary sources, including government documents, news articles, and reviews of research results on palm oil plantation expansion and transmigration in Sulawesi. The data was analyzed descriptively, with a focus on the historical context, conflict trajectories, and socioeconomic impacts. Findings: However, this study reveals a contrary outcome; the presence of PTPN XIV in Mantadulu Village, South Sulawesi has resulted in the exclusion of the surrounding community. This, in turn, has led to the confiscation of their production factors, widening the poverty gap for both transmigrants and local communities. The expansion of palm oil plantations, coupled with the transmigration program, created a surplus labor force, potentially leading to worker exploitation and reduced wages. Conclusion: The transmigration program and palm oil plantation expansion in Mantadulu Village have largely failed to improve the welfare of transmigrants and local communities as intended. Instead, these initiatives have increased the risk of poverty through land exclusion and unfavorable farming schemes. Novelty/Originality of this Study: The novelty of this study lies in its focus on the intricate relationship between the transmigration program and palm oil plantation expansion in South Sulawesi, an area often overlooked in existing research. It uniquely highlights the socio-economic conflicts and class dynamics arising from these programs, providing a fresh perspective on the grassroots impacts and conceptual challenges underlying transmigration and agricultural policies in Indonesia.

PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT BERBASIS POTENSI LOKAL MELALUI KAMPUNG KREATIF DAN INDEPENDEN

The Kediri City Government, in order to realize the Vision and Mission of the Mayor of Kediri, through the Mayor of Kediri Regulation Number 23 of 2020 concerning technical guidelines for implementing the Plus Community Empowerment Program, created the Kampung Keren program. The Kediri City Government wants to trigger the potential of its people to develop various unique and creative things in their area. It is hoped that Kampung Keren can become a forum for people to explore their talents and skills. This is expected to encourage local economic growth and improve community welfare. The aim of this research is to describe how community empowerment is based on local potential through the Kampung Keren Program (Creative and Independent) in Kampung Pecut which collaborates elements of urban tourism and local culture. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through observation and interviews accompanied by documentation. Data analysis techniques using data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that community empowerment in Kampung Pecut through the Kampung Keren program is working as expected, the community in Kampung Pecut is being helped by the economic turnaround. The Kampung Keren Program in Kampung Pecut has provided benefits for the community and managers, namely increased knowledge and skills of the community thanks to the training provided, then increased income and standard of living for the community thanks to the large number of tourists who visit Kampung Pecut.

Analisis Penerimaan Pendapatan Pajak Daerah Di Kabupaten Siau Tagulandang Biaro (SITARO)

Regional taxes are an obligation that must be paid by the community as taxpayers to local governments, functioning to finance regional infrastructure development aimed at improving community welfare. This study aims to determine the tax revenue revenue from each type of regional tax in SITARO Regency by showing the achievement of the target and percentage of tax revenue realization in 2018–2022. The method used in this study is qualitative-descriptive with primary and secondary data sources. The data collection techniques are interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that SITARO Regency's regional tax revenue from 2018 to 2022 fluctuated with an achievement rate of 94%. Meanwhile, the percentage realization of each type of regional tax is: hotel tax of 76%; restaurant tax of 109%; entertainment tax revenue only existed in 2019 and 2020 by 100%; billboard tax of 99%; street lighting tax of 92%; groundwater tax of 30.82%; tax on non-metallic minerals and rocks at 96.94%; PBB P2 by 92.58%; and BPHTB by 115.49%. From the total, it can be concluded that the increase and decrease in tax revenue are due to a lack of public understanding and awareness of paying taxes. The Regional Revenue Division of SITARO Regency sets the tax target budget to not be too high so that the realization can be maximized.

STRATEGI PEMASARAN USAHA HOME INDUSTRY IKAN ASIN DALAM PENINGKATAN EKONOMI KELUARGA MASYARAKAT KELURAHAN MALABERO KOTA BENGKULU

The aim of this research is to analyze the marketing strategy of the salted fish home industry business in improving the family economy of the people of Malabero Village, Bengkulu City. This type of research is a qualitative approach. The location of the research conducted by researchers is located in Malabero Village, Bengkulu City,. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. The sample in this research was 17 people in the salted fish home industry business, Malabero Village, Bengkulu City. Based on the research results, it was found that in the product sector, 17 salted fish sellers varied their products by varying the types of fish available, then the salted fish sellers created product characteristics. The price sector is where salted fish sellers are able to compete with other entrepreneurs by selling salted fish at prices according to existing standards or markets. The distribution sector is where salted fish sellers have carried out distribution well and in a planned manner because the distribution reach of selling salted fish is not only within the city but has reached outside the city. In the promotion sector, salted fish sellers already have attractive promotional activities for consumers. Apart from carrying out promotions through verbal communication for people they know, salted fish sellers have also promoted their salted fish through social media, namely Facebook, Tik Tok and WA which can help in the process. promotion. By implementing strategies in the product, price, distribution and promotion sectors, entrepreneurs will increase income thereby improving community welfare. Perencanaan dan Pengelolaan Alokasi Dana Desa dalam Pemberdayaan Masyarakat di Kampung Skouw Mabo di Kota Jayapura

Improving the quality of life of the community is the goal of Village Fund Allocation (ADD). Improving the quality of life or improving community welfare, especially in villages, requires training and strengthening community capacity. This is the main pillar in planning and managing Village Fund Allocation (ADD) in Skouw Mabo Village. This research was conducted to determine the planning and management of Village Fund Allocation (ADD) in Skouw Mabo Village and what community empowerment activities use Village Fund Allocation (ADD). The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach and using comparative analysis techniques. The results of this research are the planning and management of Village Fund Allocation (ADD) in Skouw Mabo Village in terms of financial administration, the stages have been implemented in accordance with regulations, but in the planning process it is necessary to pay attention and consider priority activities in the village based on local potential so that activities and budget allocation also according to the needs of the activity. Then, in implementing community empowerment activities, the use of funds has been fully realized based on the number of activities and the size of the budget. However, village governments need to pay attention to activities and allocation of financial resources that are more in line with their budgeting priorities, in order to achieve optimal results, namely making the community prosperous and independent.

ANALYSIS OF CAPITAL EXPENDITURE DETERMINANTS IN DISTRICTS/CITIES IN JAMBI PROVINCE

Regional Expenditures are details of regional income and expenditures within one year. Capital expenditure is one of the most important components of regional expenditures. Through capital expenditure, the budget prepared in the Regional Expenditures can be realized properly and correctly by improving services to the public. In this case, regional governments must be careful when allocating their resources. This research aims to analyze the influence of local revenue, general allocation funds, and special allocation funds on capital expenditure allocation. Capital expenditure plays a very important role in running the government system to improve community welfare and good governance. The population used in this research is all 11 regencies/cities in Jambi Province in 2018-2022. The sample in this research is this population due to data availability, while the data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression—analysis using SPSS. The research results show that local original income has a significant and positive effect on capital expenditure allocation, general fund allocation has no effect on capital expenditure, and special fund allocation also has no effect on capital expenditure. In contrast, local original income, General Allocation Funds, and special allocation funds simultaneously significantly impact capital expenditure allocation.

Zakat Sebagai Upaya Peningkatan Kesejahteraan Dalam Perspektif Surah At-Taubah Ayat 60

This research is motivated by the most common problem in Indonesia, namely poverty, poverty occurs due to unequal income and lack of effectiveness in the field of management and fund management. The purpose of formal zakat management is to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of zakat administration and increase the benefits generated from zakat to improve community welfare and poverty prevention. Analysis of Qur'anic verses, search of related literature, and data collection from respondents representing various layers of Islamic society are qualitative research methods. Zakat can be given to eight groups, according to surah At-Taubah verse 60. The groups entitled to receive zakat include amil (people who take care of zakat), muallaf (people who have just converted to Islam and need help to adjust to their new circumstances), slave (newly freed slaves), Gharim (people who owe money for lawful needs but are unable to pay it), and Fisabilillah (people who fight in the way of Allah). Ibnu sabil are those who run out of money to travel for purposes such as da'wah and others.

Composite Performance Index in Decision Making for Social Assistance

The majority of the residents in this village, approximately 90%, worked as farmers or farm laborers. Given the economic conditions, social assistance became crucial in reducing social inequality and enhancing the welfare of vulnerable communities. The role of village governance was significant in improving community welfare. The Village Hall served as the center of village administration, managing various activities, including the distribution of social assistance. The Village Hall was responsible for ensuring that social assistance was distributed fairly and effectively to recipients according to prevailing policies. However, the Village Hall faced issues such as inefficiency and inequality in the distribution of social assistance. The process of selecting social assistance recipients was still conducted conventionally, where Village Hall staff collected data on the community based on certain criteria. This method was prone to errors in decision-making and incorrect distribution of assistance, such as recipients who did not actually qualify still receiving aid, while those in need often did not receive appropriate support. These issues were caused by a lack of thorough analysis. The village government needed to establish a decision-making system that was accurate and precise. The operation of this system included all steps of problem identification, selection of relevant information, and determination of the approach used for decision-making through to the resolution of the issues. To achieve accurate results, this research applied the Composite Performance Index method. The aim of this research was to create a decision support system (DSS) for selecting social assistance recipients in the village. This DSS was expected to help staff improve the speed of social assistance classification, avoid errors, and produce accurate decisions.

Komunikasi Organisasi Dalam Pengelolaan Bantuan Sosial Terhadap Peningkatan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat Desa Di Kabupaten Konawe Selatan

Social assistance is one of the central and regional government programs aimed at improving community welfare, so procedures for implementing social assistance programs must be transparent and consistent in order to achieve community independence. The purpose of this research is to provide an overview of organizational communication in order to improve the welfare of village communities through the provision of social assistance in South Konawe Regency. A qualitative research approach will be used to obtain constructive analysis and supporting data regarding policies implemented by the Social Service regarding the provision of social assistance. The research findings revealed four types of communication used to achieve community welfare goals: Downward communication, Upward communication, Horizontal communication, and Interline communication. These four methods have proven to be effective in distributing social assistance in South Konawe Regency, preventing all types of obstacles such as duplication and providing social assistance that is not intended.

Pengembangan Potensi Curug Leuwi Pamipiran Sebagai Objek Wisata Melalaui Sosialisasi Penguatan Kelembagaan Di Desa Tanjungsari Kabupaten Ciamis

Management Community-based natural resource management and conservation is an effective approach in maintaining environmental sustainability and improving the welfare of local communities. This research aims to analyze the natural resource management and conservation strategies implemented by the people of Tanjungsari Village, Sadananya District, Ciamis Regency. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies. The results showed that the Tanjungsari Village community has developed various local initiatives to preserve water sources, and manage tourist attractions in the village. The active participation of the community in conservation activities, support from the local government, and cooperation with non-governmental organizations are key factors in the success of this program. The study concludes that a community-based approach to natural resource management is not only able to preserve the environment, but also contributes to improving the economic and social welfare of local communities. In addition to management, socialization was held. The implementation of these socialization activities is proven to increase the understanding and skills of the community in managing tourism potential in a sustainable manner. In addition, support from the local government and active participation of the community are important factors in the development of curug lewi pamipiran as a leading tourist attraction in Ciamis Regency. This study concludes that institutional strengthening through socialization and training is an effective strategy to optimize regional tourism potential, improve community welfare, and encourage local economic development.

The Measuring Development Impact with the Social Return on Investment Approach Model

Development has a strategic role in improving community welfare. Development covers the social, economic and environmental fields. Development can be called successful when it significantly impacts various stakeholders. This research uses the Social Return on Investment (SROI) approach model to describe impact measurement. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach and a literature study. The results of this research show that the impact of development can be measured using the SROI model. Based on the SROI model, measuring development impacts includes three dimensions: social, economic and environmental. Implementing impact measurement is a form of accountability and transparency in development. Therefore, to get an idea of the magnitude of the impact, development in various sectors needs to be measured using the SROI model. Government and non-government organizations can use the SROI model to measure the impact of development that will and has been carried out.

Peningkatan Keterampilan Komunikasi Efektif Petugas Kader Posyandu Dalam Memberikan Pelayanan di Rw 01 Pademangan Timur Jakarta

Posyandu plays a crucial role in improving community welfare in various regions, and the presence of health cadres as the spearhead of Posyandu implementation. The purpose of this activity is to enhance the ability of Posyandu cadres in providing services through effective communication skills improvement. The methods used in this activity include lectures, discussions, question-and-answer sessions, as well as pre-tests and post-tests. The results of this activity show a significant increase in the effective communication skills of Posyandu cadres. This increase can be seen from the gain score values that improve the effective communication skills of Posyandu cadres. Participant S achieved the highest gain score value of 0.9 and a percentage increase of 90.0%.

Pengaruh Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka, Indeks Pembangunan Manusia, Laju Pertumbuhan PDRB Per Kapita dan Upah Minimum Provinsi Terhadap Persentase Penduduk Miskin di Indonesia pada Tahun 2021-2023

Poverty is a problem faced by Indonesia that affects social and economic welfare. This research aims to analyze the influence of the Open Unemployment Rate (TPT), Human Development Index (HDI), GDP Growth Rate per capita, and Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP) on the percentage poor population in Indonesia in 2021-2023. The data used is secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) which covers 34 provinces in Indonesia. The research method uses the Common Effects Model (CEM), Fixed Effects Model (FEM), and Random Effects Model (REM) estimation models, with the Chow test and Hausman test to determine the best model. The research results show that TPT and UMP have a significant influence on the percentage of poor people, while HDI and GDP growth rate per capita are not significant. Rate and provincial minimum wages play an important role in poverty reduction efforts in Indonesia. The results of this research provide useful insights for policy makers in formulating effective strategies to improve community welfare

Tourism is one of the economic support systems that encourage economic growth in Indonesia. Indonesia as a country with good tourist attractions has enormous potential in creating jobs. With variables consisting of 3 elements Variables consisting of indicators, namely: independent variables of tourism development (X) with indicators: policy (X1), institutions (X2), human resources (X3), facilities and infrastructure (X4), budget (X5), environment (X6), security (X7), social (X8), culture (X9), tourist attractions (X10), investment (X11), licensing (X12), promotion (X13), system (X14), tourists (X15). intervening variables/variables between economic impacts (Z) with indicators: economic growth (Z1), income (Z2), equity (Z3), poverty reduction (Z4), unemployment reduction (Z5). The dependent variable is community welfare (Y) with indicators: income equality (Y1), health (Y2), education (Y3), information (Y4), consumption expenditure (Y5). While the research method model used is the SmartPLS approach The number of samples is 351. Karo Regency, Simalungun Regency, North Tapanuli Regency, Pakpak Bharat Regency, Dairi Regency, Humbang Hasundutan Regency, Toba Regency, Samosir Regency. Economic impact has a positive but insignificant effect on community welfare. The results of the research on the analysis of the economic impact of integrated tourism development in the Lake Toba area on the welfare of the Lake Toba area community in North Sumatra Province can contribute to local government, central government, business people, tourists and the community. local government and central government can review policies or decisions that are less effective in increasing community income.

Strategy for Implementing the Blue Economy Concept for Community Empowerment in Achieving Sustainable Development Goals

Indonesia has around 17,500 islands spread throughout the archipelago and a coastline that stretches for 81,000 km, more than half of Indonesia's total area is sea and water. This geographical condition makes Indonesia a country that has rich marine resources. However, challenges such as illegal fishing and lack of empowerment of coastal communities threaten the sustainability of the fisheries sector. Implementing the Blue Economy concept is the key to achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through a literature study, this article investigates strategies for implementing the Blue Economy in empowering communities in Indonesia to achieve the SDGs, especially goal 14: Life Below Water. Strategic steps are needed such as increasing supervision, developing technology and building infrastructure to improve community welfare and maintain the sustainability of marine resources. With great potential in the aquaculture sector, Indonesia can realize the vision of sustainable development through collaboration between various parties and the application of innovative and sustainable Blue Economy principles.

The Effectiveness of Development Performance in Gorontalo Province Over Two Cycles of RPJMD (2012-2022)

This research aims to: 1) analyze the effectiveness of development performance achievements in Gorontalo Province over two cycles: RPJMD in 2012-2017 and RPJMD in 2017-2022; and 2) formulate recommendations for the effective achievement of development targets. The method employed was a survey utilizing secondary data in the form of time series with documentation data collection instruments. The effectiveness of development achievements was analyzed using descriptive statistics, and data were presented in tables, figures, and graphs. The effectiveness of development achievements was examined based on the trend of main development indicators in the two RPJMD cycles of Gorontalo Province from 2012-2017 and 2017-2022 and compared with the set targets. The research findings indicate that the development performance of Gorontalo Province during the period 2012-2022 reflects diverse dynamics. Economic growth experienced fluctuations with an initial surge in 2012 and the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. The Human Development Index showed improvement, indicating efforts to enhance social conditions and the population's welfare, although it remains within the moderate category. The agricultural sector changed with increased maize production due to the Agropolitan program, but further efforts are needed to improve farmers' income and rural economic diversification. Surveys on community satisfaction revealed improvements in the quality of public services and governance and accountability enhancements. Despite positive achievements, Gorontalo Province still faces challenges in achieving better and sustainable performance in improving community welfare.

Sustainable Urban Clean Water Governance in Indonesia: Problems, Institutions, and Future Solutions

This study aims to explain the urban community-based clean water provision in Bandung City, in terms of general problems, institutional and governance aspects. Community-based clean water governance should be developed so that communities are independent and ready to produce clean water. When clean water is available, the time and money spent on obtaining clean water can be used for other more productive purposes and can improve community welfare. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with a descriptive approach. Data collection was done through literature review, in-depth interviews and several site surveys. The results of this study indicate the low performance of Regional Water Supply Company in managing clean water supply and the absence of local regulations related to urban community-based clean water governance. In addition, the implementation of clean water provision in Bandung City has not integrated community-based governance. The conclusion of this research is that urban clean water governance in Bandung City and other cities in Indonesia using a community-based system for the current condition is very relevant. Furthermore, it is important to draft a local regulation on urban community-based water governance that aims to protect water resources as well as to create a clean and healthy environment, and sustainable.

Local wisdom tradition of maintenance of the upstream river

Various local wisdoms are used as the center of life, obeyed, revered and given a special place by every individual. Until now, these individuals still adhere to local wisdom passed down from generation to generation as the community's cultural heritage, namely the tradition of protecting the upper reaches of the Logawa River for the people of Baseh Village. A form of local wisdom in improving community welfare by relying on the values of ancestral teachings. The aim of this research is to examine local wisdom in the maintenance and utilization of the upstream area of the Logawa River in Baseh Kedungbanteng village, Banyumas Regency, to reveal cultural character biases related to human actions related to the natural surroundings where the community resides. This research uses a case study method which focuses on one particular object to be used as a case. Baseh Village, Kedungbanteng District. Data was obtained through studying the interconnectedness of evidence from several data sources at once, namely documents, recordings, observations, open, focused and structured interviews, as well as documentation studies. The results of the research show that the true meaning is revealed, namely increasing the welfare of society both economically and for the common good. their daily needs. Research on local wisdom traditions in upstream river maintenance can be an important basis for development policies and sustainable practices in managing river ecosystems throughout the world.
