Penguatan Kemandirian Pangan Nasional Melalui Produk Olahan Jagung di Kecamatan Pajarakan Kabupaten Probolinggo

The agricultural sector can be one of the sectors capable of creating a high number of jobs, but the farmers themselves have the business development of crops into processed products so that they have a high selling value. Most of the farmers in Probolinggo Regency still sell their crops directly without going through further processing, especially for corn. Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture Number: 43/Permentan/OT.140/10/2009, concerning the Movement for the Acceleration of Diversification of Food Consumption (P2KP) Based on Local Resources encourages people to consume diversified non-rice food products, one of which is processed corn products. Therefore, it is necessary to optimize efforts to process corn so as to provide added value to farmers in the form of training to utilize corn yields into innovative and varied new products in order to strengthen food security and increase welfare for farmers. This community service activity was carried out at the Lestari farmer group in Pajarakan District, Probolinggo Regency. The implementation of service activities is in the form of providing training to corn farmers in processing sweet corn into corn chip snacks which have a higher selling value and helping to provide knowledge about online marketing and direct distribution to consumers. The participants gained some knowledge regarding the benefits of added value and also procedures for processing corn into corn chips to add value to a product. Not only did the knowledge increase but the skills of the participants also increased with the training carried out.

Implementasi Good Handling Practices sebagai Upaya Optimalisasi Penanganan Pascapanen Jeruk Lemon

Politeknik Negeri Jember (Polije), a competency-based higher education institution, has developed a Teaching Factory (TeFa) with various forms and types of products. TeFa Kebun Inovasi consistently produces various food and horticultural crop products, including lemons. The problem is that post-harvest handling of lemons still needs to be improved, impacting product quality. Apart from that, the still low demand for lemons is also a challenge that needs to be resolved. Therefore, efforts are being made to optimize post-harvest lemon handling by implementing Good Handling Practices (GHP). The method for implementing service activities is through direct assistance, evaluation, and feedback from the service team to partners. The results of service activities include (1) mentoring activities were participated in by partners (Innovation Garden management staff) and were carried out well; (2) the success of mentoring activities is measured using six indicators, namely skills in detecting fruit that meets harvest criteria, skills in harvesting according to procedures (SOP), skills in sorting and grading, labeling, and skills in storing and packaging; and (3) the evaluation results show that there is a significant increase in skills in terms of post-harvest handling of lemons at TeFa Kebun Inovasi dan Nursery Kebun Potong before and after the implementation of service activities.

Siswono (2004 in Surtinah, 2013) reported that the sugar content of the master sweet variety is 16 – 18%, close to the sugar content of cane, namely 19%. Sweet corn contains 96 cal Energy, 3.5 g Protein, 1.0 g Fat, 22.8 g Carbohydrates, 3.0 mg Calcium, 111 mg Phosphorus, 0.7 mg Iron, Vitamin A 400 SI, Vitamin B 0, 15 mg, Vitamin C 12.0 mg, and water 72.7 g Iskandar, 2006). This service activity was carried out at the Kampung Jawa Village Hall, Blangkejeren District, Gayo Lues Regency. The parties involved in this activity were lecturers from the Agrotechnology and Forestry study program, PSDKU Gayo Lues, Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University as resource persons, as well as the Agrotechnology and Animal Husbandry study program, Faculty of Agriculture, Gunung Leuser University, Aceh Kutacane, village midwives as partners, village heads as facilitators and the village community. SMK Swasta Trisula Dolok Sanggul is one of the private schools in Dolok Sanggul. This school has 3 departments, namely (1) Department of Light Vehicle Engineering (Automotive), (2) Audio Video Engineering (Electronics Engineering) and (3) Computer and Network Engineering. The results of learning observations at Trisula Dolok Sanggul Private Vocational School in Humbang Hasundutan Regency show that learning during this pandemic still uses WhatsApp groups to inform students about assignments. This is felt to be less effective for students. Apart from that, teachers at Trisula Dolok Sanggul Private Vocational School are still not optimal in utilizing information technology and the internet as learning media. By conducting more intensive training for teachers and students regarding the use of learning media and the function of media in the learning process, it is hoped that teachers will use digital-based learning media more often, because the use of digital-based learning media will be very beneficial for students in understanding the subject matter even though it has already been implemented. face to face/offline and students are more motivated to take part in these lessons. he conclusions from this activity are:1. Pop-up Digital for Disability Tunagrahita Pencegahan Pelecahan Seksual pada Anak Tuna Grahita Di SLB Samudra Lavender

Background: Children with disabilities, especially mentally retarded, have difficulty distinguishing between appropriate and inappropriate touches, which will make it difficult for disabled children to identify actions that lead to sexual harassment directed at them. Intellectual disability or mental disability is a condition where a person's intelligence development experiences obstacles so that they do not reach the optimal stage of development. Digital pop up books are very easy to understand in the learning process and are an effective medium in providing sexual education for mentally retarded children. Purpose: The aim of this community service is to increase awareness of mentally retarded teenagers about preventing sexual violence through digital pop up book media. Method: The stages include planning and preparation, implementation of service activities with workshops, Popi Dita fungame, barcode story corner hut and evaluation. The activity was held on Wednesday 7 June 2023 at SLB Samudra Lavender Bangkalan. Measuring the success of this digital pop up book media uses a pre-test and post-test with a questionnaire containing 16 short questions. Result: The results showed an increase in student knowledge scores from 4.95 to 7.36. The paired t-test obtained a p- value of 0.019 which shows that sexual violence prevention interventions can increase the knowledge or awareness of mentally retarded children regarding the prevention of sexual violence. Conclusion: This activity was successfully carried out with high participation and enthusiasm from students in taking part in this activity. It is hoped that this pop up book can be a useful educational tool for schools in an effort to minimize the number of victims of sexual violence.

Pembuatan Media Infografis Melalui Pelatihan dan Pendampingan Desain Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Canva for Education Bagi Guru-guru SD di Kota Palembang

In the current digital era, easy and fast access to information positively influences students' ability to access helpful information in the learning process. This service aims to increase teachers' capacity to design and produce products in the form of infographic learning media. The technological innovation trained in this service is to realize the development in electronic and printed form through Canva for education. Participatory Action Research (PAR) is the method used in the implementation of service activities with stages: 1) giving an initial test, 2) implementing the service, 3) the final stage consisting of evaluation and reflection, and 4) giving the final test. The target participants of the service activities were elementary school teachers of science subjects in Palembang City. Based on the data obtained, there is an increase in test results with an N-gain of 0.81, which is included in the high category. Based on the above results, the training participants strongly agree that this service activity can increase their understanding and skills in creating infographic learning media through Canva for Education

The purpose of the service activities carried out by the Lecturer Team of the Faculty of Economics, University of Semarang is to introduce Smartphone-based SME Applications and socialize the features of SME Applications and how to use them. The service activity will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023. The implementation of service activities at Balai RW 07 Building Jl. Serayu I, Bugangan Village, East Semarang District.The activity was carried out for one day from 13.00 to 15.00 (1 x 2 hours). Service activities are carried out using lectures, training and discussion/question and answer methods. The work procedure for service activities is carried out through several stages, including the identification stage, preparation stage, implementation stage, monitoring and evaluation stage, reporting and publication stage. The material presented was to introduce the features of the SME Application and how to use it. Rainwater harvesting is one municipal initiative that uses rainwater for everyday needs. Rainwater is very useful in meeting water sources for agriculture, homes and industries, but unmanaged rainwater can also cause disasters such as flooding and flooding. However, during the rainy season, when the catchment area decreases, rainwater cannot penetrate into the ground and often causes flooding. Upaya Mitigasi dan Adaptasi Perubahan Iklim melalui Media Permainan Anak Atteropoly kepada Anak Usia Sekolah Dasar

Bogak Village is a coastal village with a waste problem that can contribute to climate change. Instilling waste management knowledge needs to be done with the appropriate method. The purpose of the activity was to apply the Atteropoly game as an early education means regarding waste management for elementary school-age children in efforts to mitigate and adapt to climate change in Bogak Village. The stages were planning and preparation (gathering information on partner problems and compiling educational game instruments), implementation of service activities, and monitoring evaluation. Educational activities through the Atteropoly game were directly carried out on July 6, 2022 to 30 participants of elementary school-age children and two teachers from the Rumah Qur’an Miftahul Jannah. Measuring the success of Atteropoly media used pre-test and post-test, it was found that there was an increase in participants’ knowledge and the average score of 38,33 (pre-test) to 53,00 (post-test). It can be concluded the Atteropoly game increases the elementary school-aged children’s knowledge in Bogak Village. The community service team also gave a set of Atteropoly game tools and segregated trash bins to the village. It is hoped that the Atteropoly game tool can be used to educate the public, especially elementary school-age children in Bogak Village.

Optimalisasi Kader Kesehatan melalui Senam Low Back Pain di Era Pandemi bagi Masyarakat Desa Jetis Kabupaten Sukoharjo

In the pandemic era, public anxiety about illness continues to increase. A person who experiences pain in the spine will feel worried about what he feels. Posyandu is community empowerment that helps improve the health status of the community in their environment. Health Posyandu will usually have cadres who assist in the implementation of service activities. Good health cadres will be able to manage Posyandu by mobilizing the surrounding community to live healthily in order to create optimization in the health sector. However, many health cadres in their services are less able to provide services for posyandu activities. Following are the results of distributing questionnaires on low back pain gymnastics, it was stated that 87 health cadres could not do exercise because they had never received training. Knowledge and low back pain gymnastics skills from the results of the study can reduce the pain felt by a person, therefore community service is carried out to minimize back pain in the elderly. Community service consists of four stages. The first stage is situation analysis, planning, implementation, and evaluation monitoring. The population in this study was 17 elderly posyandu cadres. Sampling using total sampling. The results of the evaluation of LBP counseling were 15% pre-extension knowledge and 68% post-extension knowledge. The results of the evaluation of pre-training skills prevention and handling skills were 13% and post-training skills were 65%. The conclusion is that there is an increase in the knowledge and skills of the LBP prevention and handling of elderly posyandu cadres.

This community service method is carried out by providing education in the form of counseling, conducting demonstrations in assessing the growth and development of toddlers and their stimulation. and to evaluate it is done by using a pretest and post test questionnaire to assess the mother's knowledge and observation to assess the skills of cadres. The results of the implementation of the activities obtained an increase in the knowledge and skills of cadres regarding the assessment of growth and development of toddlers and their stimulation. The implementation of service activities is further enhanced in an effort to increase the knowledge and skills of cadres not only in assessing growth but also in the development of toddlers.

The expected outcome of this community service activity is that students feel interested in becoming entrepreneurs and grow their creative ideas into positive productivity and provide benefits for students in particular and benefits for the surrounding environment in general. This service stage starts from preparation, implementation of service activities in the form of counseling introduction to entrepreneurship for students and ends with the closing stage. This activity was said to be successful where all participants were present and their enthusiasm and interest was evident, this was evidenced by the presence of several participants who actively asked questions during the discussion session. SOSIALISASI PENGEMBANGAN KEPROFESIAN BERKELANJUTAN (PKB) UNTUK GURU SEKOLAH DASAR

This service activity aims to socialize the competence of Continuous Professional Development (PKB) for elementary school teachers. The method of implementing this activity is by using lectures and discussions. The activity was carried out at SD Negeri 90/II Muara Bungo. The results of the evaluation of service activities show that the implementation of service activities is able to provide solutions to existing problems of 3.5% in the very good category. participants' satisfaction with the delivery of material that meets their needs is 3.35%. Satisfaction with the PkM implementation method is 3.64% with very good criteria. Overall satisfaction in implementing this PkM is 3.21% with good category. Thus, service activities make teachers increase their knowledge and abilities in preparing Continuing Professional Development (PKB) in the form of classroom action research, changing research results in scientific journal articles. In addition, the teacher's ability is also able to find and examine scientific references well.

PENGELOLAHAN SAMPAH : REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE PADA GURU DAN SISWA KELAS IV SDN UNGGULAN 4 MADE

This study aimed to describe efforts to increase elementary school students' awareness of environmental hygiene and health through fostering the application and management of the 3R system (reduce, reuse, recycle) at SDN Unggulan Made IV Lamongan. This research is an action research with the research subject of teachers and students of SDN Unggulan Made IV Lamongan. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview, observation, and documentation methods. Based on the assessment of the four components, namely the success of the target number of participants (85%), the achievement of activity objectives (70%), the achievement of the planned material targets (75%), the ability of participants in mastering the material (70%). Then the implementation of the activity is said to be successful and is considered good. The success of the implementation of service activities is not only measured by the four components above, it can also be seen from the satisfaction of the participants after participating in the activity.

The problems faced by partners in community service activities include the lack of understanding of students about saving activities and the importance of saving from an early age and the perception of students who think that saving activities are only for people who are adults and have their own income. The purpose of this PKM activity is to broaden students' horizons regarding the goals and benefits of saving from an early age and to foster an interest in saving for students from an early age even though they do not have their own income. The stages of this activity start from preparation, implementation of service activities in the form of socializing fond of saving from an early age and ending with the stage of writing service activity reports. Socialization activities like saving from an early age were followed by all students as participants in this PKM activity enthusiastically so that they were able to increase students' understanding and broaden their horizons regarding the importance of saving from an early age even though they do not have an independent income. Activities like this need to be carried out elsewhere so that the knowledge and interest of students as the younger generation in saving continues to increase so that they can contribute to economic improvement for the nation and state in the future. The expected output of this community service activity focuses on increasing students' understanding of the importance of saving activities and being aware of the importance of saving activities from an early age and can be one of the inputs for the school so that saving activities can become a routine activity for students coordinated by each homeroom teacher
