Intralingual Understanding of Zakat, Infaq, alms, and Gifts in Islamic Economics In Aceh

The implementation of Islamic economics in Aceh has a positive impact on society. Aceh Province is a region in Indonesia that has an influence on poverty issues because it has been hit by social conflict that has been going on for a very long time so that access to work is not conducive for the people of Aceh. ). Aceh Province with the implementation of Islamic law has a role to play in resolving and minimizing poverty problems. The method used by Aceh Province is to foster the management of zakat, infaq and alms because they are sources of eternal funds. Supporting the importance of previous research on zakat, infaq and alms, this study wants to determine the ability to understand interlingual terminology about zakat, alms and infaq plus one other terminology, namely gifts. This research was a descriptive-qualitative research. The data used are 4 terminologies in Islamic economics, namely alms, zakat, infaq and gifts to be translated interlingually. The four terms to be translated were analyzed using the intralingual equivalence method. The sample is 50 students from the Faculty of Economics who have studied science related to Islamic economics courses. The findings obtained that related to the terminology of zakat, all participants as many as 50 students or 100% of participants managed to answer intralingually. Then, there were the same results between the terminology of infak, sedekah, and hadiah, namely 47 students managed to answer correctly but insignificantly there were only 3 students who answered incorrectly.

The research aimed to evaluate the implementation of Law 11.645/2008, which requires the inclusion of Afro-Brazilian and indigenous history and culture in Brazilian school curricula. It adopted an exploratory and qualitative approach, conducting in-depth interviews with fifteen teachers to understand their perceptions and challenges. The results showed that while the law has been welcomed by many teachers and contributed to more inclusive education, it still faces significant challenges. Among these challenges are the lack of specific training for educators, the scarcity of adequate teaching materials, and resistance to change in the curriculum. The analysis revealed that, despite the difficulties, the law is promoting a greater appreciation of cultural diversity and contributing to a more respectful citizenship. To ensure effective and complete implementation, it is necessary to invest in quality pedagogical resources, continuous training for teachers, and promote a school environment that supports cultural diversity.

Legal Consequences of Occupational Accidents in the Construction Industry a Criminal Law Perspective

The increasing number of accidents and losses due to work accidents, as well as potential hazards in the production process, require effective, comprehensive, and integrated Occupational Safety Management in the management of the company. Work accidents are often caused by unsafe activities, which can be caused by lack of knowledge and skills, physical disabilities, fatigue, and unsafe attitudes and behaviors. This study uses normative legal research methods with a statutory approach and a case-based approach. Sources of legal materials used include primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials. The results showed that corporate crimes, including criminal liability of negligent companies in managing worker safety, can result in the loss of workers ' lives. The government has very little control over the implementation of occupational safety laws, and companies are still minimal in capital to improve K3 services for employees. In addition, the lack of publications and information on Occupational Safety and health, especially in rural communities, contributes to the aggravation of this condition.

The Existence of Pretrial Institutions In The Enforcement Of Criminal Law

Suppose a decision that grants the application, has an impact on the invalidity of a norm and does not have binding legal force, then by itself, the decision cannot be separated from the Erga Omnes Principle which has legally binding force on all components of the nation, so all parties must submit and obey the decision ( Syukri Asy'ari, 2013). Institutional Performance and Carbon Reduction Effect of High-Quality Development of New Energy: China’s Experience and Policy Implication

Based on the policy text from 1999 to 2022, this paper quantitatively analyzes photovoltaic power, wind power and new energy policies in mainland China by keyword capture and policy strength and establishes a spatial Durbin model to study the carbon reduction effects. The results show the following: (1) The development of new energy is primarily project-based and concentrated in rural areas. (2) Financial support is a double-edged sword. (3) After the implementation of the Renewable Energy Law in 2015, the change trend in policy quantity, total policy intensity, and average policy intensity is generally consistent. (4) The increase in the strength of new energy policies has effectively reduced the intensity of provincial carbon dioxide emissions. (5) New energy policies introduced in a single region are less effective in reducing carbon emissions than joint regional regulation. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the quality and coordination of new energy policies through the effective convergence of policies and regular evaluations to enhance the positive guidance of the policies. Policy measures for new energy are refined in three areas: improving the amount and quality of new energy policies, strengthening new energy policies and establishing cooperation mechanisms for the cross-regional consumption of new energy.

Omnibus Law: Effectiveness of Online Licensing and Law Enforcement of the Capture Fisheries Sector in Indonesia

The government has carried out the task of simplifying several laws through the ratification of Law Number 6 of 2023 concerning the Stipulation of Government Regulation in Lieu of Law Number 11 of 2020 regarding Job Creation. This initiative aims to encourage investment and increase employment opportunities. A number of articles of the old law have been amended or deleted by this regulation. One of the laws in question is Law Number 31 of 2004 concerning Fisheries. In addition, Law Number 45 of 2009 is an amendment to Law Number 31 of 2004. This study applies a normative legal research methodology, where this type of research refers to scientific investigations of legal issues by conducting research through library sources or data related to secondary license issued by the OSS Institution through an integrated electronic system. This research approach is characterized by consideration of the risk-based licensing process, not only based on licensing criteria. Apart from the main goal of increasing user convenience, individuals with limited educational levels, such as fishermen, may face challenges when trying to access the OSS system. The application and implementation of criminal law as the main legal remedy poses its own challenges. Therefore, the utilization of the criminal justice system as a means to eradicate fish theft is mainly used as a final remedy (ultimum remedium). While other sanctions, such as administrative sanctions and actions, are generally used as the main means of law enforcement.

The Czech Republic v Poland (Mine de Turów): Politics and implementation of the EU Water Framework Directive

AbstractAn international dispute between the Republic of Poland and Czechia over the Turów mine has recently resulted in infringement proceedings brought before the Court of Justice of the European Union concerning the implementation of the Water Framework Directive. This case and the judicial and extrajudicial processes surrounding it facilitate an assessment of the procedure provided for in Articles 258 to 260 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union. The assessment of this procedure is undertaken both in terms of the achievement of the internal policy objectives of the Member State and in terms of the effectiveness of the implementation of European law. We argue that this procedure (under Articles 258–260 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union) is effective in both connections, because it provides a wide range of opportunities for both the judicial authorities of the European Union and the Member States themselves to achieve their objectives.

A Novel Recursive Algorithm for the Implementation of Adaptive Robot Controllers

In this paper, a novel recursive and efficient algorithm for real-time implementation of the adaptive and passivity-based controllers in model-based control of robot manipulators is proposed. Many of the previous methods on these topics involve the computation of the regressor matrix explicitly or non-recursive computations, which remains as the main challenge in practical applications. The proposed method achieves a compact and fully recursive reformulation without computing the regressor matrix or its elements. This paper is based on a comprehensive literature review of the previously proposed methods, presented in a unified mathematical framework suitable for understanding the fundamentals and making comparisons. The considered methods are implemented on several processors and their performances are compared in terms of real-time computational efficiency. Computational results show that the proposed Adaptive Newton-Euler Algorithm significantly reduces the computation time of the control law per cycle time in the implementation of adaptive control laws. In addition, using the dynamic simulation of an industrial robot with 6-DoF, trajectory tracking performances of the adaptive controllers are compared with those of non-adaptive control methods where dynamic parameters are assumed to be known.

Building a Responsive Legal System Through Reforming the Indonesian Constitution

Legal politics or what is known as policy direction is important in order to provide direction on the form and material of law. However, in a study that examines the problems of law enforcement, in Indonesia, which was studied from a legal sociology perspective, it was stated that developments in the world today often give rise to various problems, whether in the form of violations of norms that exist in social life or rules that have a tendency to create a phenomenon that is contrary to moral and ethical rules as well as legal rules. This paper aims to find out the facts and legal political realities that occur on post-reform legislation in forming responsive laws. Using a normative writing method. The direction of legal politics in post-reform Indonesia is the desire to form a responsive legal system, this can be implicitly seen in several changes to the constitution. Change towards responsive law is not something instant and easy, there must be a commitment from the state and the people together to realize the ideal of this system. Although the current implementation of law still experiences many errors here and there, at least the existing legal products have led to laws that responsive, what is needed now are leadership figures who are able to bring Indonesia to the implementation of responsive laws that are in accordance with what was previously expected in order to achieve prosperity for the people.

Financial strategies for the development of the military-industrial complex in the national security system of Ukraine

The paper clarifies that ensuring national security, the country’s defense capability, and economic growth critically depends on the development of Ukraine’s military industry. Improvement of financial and technological support, development of innovations, and international cooperation are the key directions of the financial strategies of the military industry. It has been proven that the development of the military industry in the national security system of Ukraine requires a comprehensive approach and close cooperation between various branches of government, scientific institutions, and the private sector, which will ensure not only defense capability but also contribute to the economic development of the country. It is substantiated that the successful implementation of financial strategies for the development of the industrial complex requires an appropriate foundation, namely: an increase in financial resources for the modernization of production facilities and the development of new technologies; integration of modern technologies into the production process; increase in costs for training and attracting new specialists; expansion of cooperation with NATO countries and other international partners; participation in joint international projects and programs. The main aspects and directions of the development of the military industry in the context of national security are substantiated: the development of own production capacities to ensure autonomy in the production of military equipment, critical components and systems, weapons, and ammunition; increasing investments in the GDR for the development of own technologies and increasing the competitiveness of Ukrainian military-industrial complex products; carrying out corporatization and privatization through the transformation of state-owned military-industrial complex enterprises into more efficient corporate structures; development and implementation of laws that contribute to the development of the military industry and the protection of national interests; implementation of international standards in the production and management of the military industry.

CHILD MIGRATION TRENDS IN INDIA: INSIGHTS FROM NATIONAL DATASETS

The child migration in India is a complex socio-economic phenomenon profoundly impacting childrens well-being and development. This paper analyzes trends and vulnerabilities among child migrants using national datasets, focusing on education, health, and socio-economic disparities.The study identifies a significant increase in internal migration, predominantly rural, driven by familial and economic factors. Gender disparities show higher migration rates among boys, influenced by socio-cultural norms and economic incentives. The regional disparities highlight Goa, Kerala, and Maharashtra as key migration hubs, shaped by economic opportunities and cultural dynamics. Despite higher literacy rates, migrant children face challenges like early employment and educational disruptions. Health outcomes vary, with improved nutrition but lower immunization coverage compared to non-migrant peers.Child marriage rates among migrant girls underscore socio-economic inequities. Vulnerability analysis reveals risks among economically disadvantaged and rural migrants, necessitating targeted policy interventions. The policy recommendations stress legal enforcement against child marriage and robust implementation of education and child labor laws. Collaborative efforts involving government, NGOs, and communities are crucial to address the needs of child migrants, especially from marginalized groups.This research paper informs inclusive policies to protect child migrants rights and opportunities, aiming for a more equitable societal framework.

The Implementation of Waqf Law within the Framework of Indonesia's Legal State: An Analysis of Pancasila Values

This study aims to explore the preservation of waqf in Indonesia, which plays a crucial role in supporting social welfare and community development, while considering Pancasila as the state ideology. The research seeks to analyze how Islamic legal principles are integrated into waqf preservation in relation to Pancasila values and to understand the interaction between these two value systems within the national legal framework. The study employs a qualitative analysis method with a literature review approach. Data is gathered through an examination of relevant laws and government regulations, as well as fatwas and guidelines concerning waqf and pancasila. The analysis focuses on evaluating the connection between Islamic principles related to waqf preservation and the implementation of Pancasila values within the Indonesian legal system. The research aims to identify and explain the relationship between Islamic legal principles regarding waqf and Pancasila values and to assess how Pancasila values support and enhance the preservation of waqf in Indonesia. The findings reveal that Pancasila values, particularly the principles of social justice and humanity, align with Islamic principles in the preservation of waqf. Pancasila serves as an ethical framework that supports fair and transparent waqf implementation, ensuring that waqf not only complies with Islamic law but also contributes to sustainable social welfare. The study also identifies that integrating Islamic principles with Pancasila values in waqf management can improve the effectiveness of waqf preservation and strengthen the legal and social foundation in Indonesia.

Environmental governance in Pakistan: Perspectives and implications for the China-Pakistan economic corridor plan

Environmental governance (EG), climate-resilient development, and environmental sustainability are interlinked phenomena. It is in this context that an evaluation of Pakistan's EG was carried out in order to establish policy insights into the environmental sustainability of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Plan 2017–2030. A questionnaire survey approach (targeting various stakeholder groups), using a multi-criteria decision analysis of ‘Best’ and ‘Worst’ method and an integrated EG framework were used. An important finding is that responsiveness was ranked as best and equity as worst EG themes for CPEC sustainability. Similarly, criteria transparency is considered to be the best aspect and criteria access to information/knowledge the worst. Other aspects scoring highly included e.g. monitoring and evaluation; stakeholder's communication and collaboration in governance processes; mechanisms to ensure that means and rationales of decisions making are transparent for eco-friendly development under the CPEC Plan; stakeholders' input integration in planning and policy implementation; stakeholders capacity building to deal with environmental and CC concerns of CPEC development. Criteria scoring poorly included e.g., effective mechanisms to resolve conflicts between federal and provincial Environmental Protection Agencies and implementation of environmental laws in letter and spirit, as well as marginalized stakeholders' participation in the decision-making process. In this context, the Government needs to establish an effective EG system to ensure environmentally friendly and climate-resilient development (CRD) in the country.

A new 3D full-Stokes calving algorithm within Elmer/Ice (v9.0)

Abstract. A new calving algorithm is developed in the glacier model Elmer/Ice that allows unrestricted calving and terminus advance in 3D. The algorithm uses the meshing software Mmg to implement anisotropic remeshing and allow mesh adaptation at each time step. The development of the algorithm, along with the implementation of the crevasse depth law, produces a new full-Stokes calving model capable of simulating calving and terminus advance across an array of complex geometries. Using a synthetic tidewater glacier geometry, the model is tested to highlight the numerical model parameters that can alter calving when using the crevasse depth law. For a system with no clear attractor at a pinning point, the model time step and mesh resolution are shown to alter the simulated calving. In particular, the vertical mesh resolution has a large impact, increasing calving, as the frontal bending stresses are better resolved. However, when the system has a strong attractor, provided by basal pinning points, numerical model parameters have a limited effect on the terminus evolution. Conversely, transient systems with no clear attractors are highly influenced by the choice of numerical model parameters. The new algorithm is capable of implementing unlimited terminus advance and retreat, as well as unrestricted calving geometries, applying any vertically varying melt distribution to the front for use in conjunction with any calving law or potentially advecting variables downstream. In overcoming previous technical hurdles, the algorithm opens up the opportunity to improve both our understanding of the physical processes and our ability to predict calving.

Effects of Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law Implementation Among Jeepney Drivers: Basis for Crafting a Financial Plan

Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law aspires to develop a tax system that is simpler, more just, more effective, and more efficient in order to fund government goals and initiatives. This study sought to answer the following: 1)The demographic profile of jeepney drivers in terms of: 1.1Age, 1.2Gender, 1.3Civil Status, and 1.4Number of family members. 2)The perceived effects of TRAIN Law among Jeepney Drivers in terms of: 2.1Income, and 2.2Expenses. 3)Significant difference on the perceived effects of Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law affecting the Jeepney Drivers when grouped according to their demographic profile. 4)The proposed financial plan for Jeepney Drivers. This quantitative study, a descriptive form, focused and assessed the effects of TRAIN law implementation on their financial aspects, notably their income and expenses. Purposive sampling was used to collect data from seventy-five (75) jeepney drivers who own and operate traditional jeepneys in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan. The proposal of implementing a higher excise tax and a lower income tax to balance the tax flow is only favorable for just a few, but not for jeepney drivers. The researchers recommend the jeepney drivers to consider the financial plan provided, and the LGUs to conduct seminars on proper budgeting.

The spread of pornographic content on social media, including Telegram, has become an increasingly urgent issue that needs to be addressed legally.this research aims to explore the legal framework that can protect victims from the distribution of pornographic videos on the Telegram platform the research methods used are document analysis and case studies to understand the implementation of relevant laws in this context.research findings show that legal protection for victims of spreading pornographic videos on Telegram is still limited and requires more attention from the authorities.the implication of this research is the need for improved policies and more effective law enforcement to protect victims and prevent the spread of pornographic content on social media.

Legal Culture of Coastal Lampung Indigenous People Based on Local Wisdom

This article discusses the legal culture of the Lampung Coastal Traditional Tribe Community Based on Local Wisdom, which highlights the traditional legal system of the Lampung Coastal Traditional Tribe Community and how local wisdom shapes and influences its legal practices. This research examines how cultural values, customs, and local norms play a role in resolving disputes, law enforcement, and regulating social life in these communities. Using qualitative methods, this article analyzes the structure of customary law and legal implementation mechanisms based on local wisdom principles, as well as their impact on social harmonization and cultural preservation. It is hoped that the findings from this research will provide in-depth insight into the relevance and adaptation of customary law in the modern context, as well as enrich understanding of the diversity of local wisdom-based legal systems in Indonesia.

Local Wisdom of 3 (Three) Batu Tungku in Handling Pancasila-Based Conflicts

One of the Pancasila-based conflict management arrangements is the local wisdom of 3 (three) hearth stones. Local wisdom is 3 (three) hearthstones in handling conflict involving the Head of Government, Traditional Leaders and Religious Leaders. Conflict handling using local wisdom has not been implemented optimally, even though it really touches the basic part of community life itself, where the local wisdom of 3 Batu Tungku is carried out with a joint handling process within the family involving the village authority as Head of Government to control the course of the procession, Traditional Leaders play an important role as a liaison with the ancestors to carry out PAMALI traditional ceremonies, and the involvement of Religious Figures as a sign of belief in the God they believe in, these three institutions work together and maintain each other's calling duties when they function so that they do not leave behind grudges and hatred. The continuity of conflict management based on the local wisdom of 3 hearth stones carried out in Maluku, especially on Buru Island in Buru Regency, is also an answer to the recommendation for the creation of regional regulations to strengthen conflict management in the Republic of Indonesia region based on Pancasila as a follow-up to the implementation of the PKS Law and Regional Government Law and in accordance with the Principles 4 of the Republic of Indonesia Pancasila.
