There are 3 (three) focuses of this research, namely (1) How is the implementation of hadrah art as a religious motivation medium for children of Parimono Hamlet, Jombang Regency? (2) How does the community of Parimono Hamlet respond to the implementation of hadrah art as a medium to increase religious motivation for children? (3) What is the role of hadrah art as a medium to increase religious motivation for children of Parimono Hamlet, Jombang Regency? To answer this problem, the method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. In this study, it can be concluded that the implementation of hadrah art is very effective for early childhood through hadrah art activities, children can learn about religious values, traditions, and religious practices through interesting art. The community's response to the art of hadrah is very positive, with the existence of the art of hadrah the community is very helpful in educating their children in learning and applying religious teachings practically. Implementasi Seni Tari dalam Perkembangan Motorik Kasar Anak Usia Dini di TK Al-Kausar Medan

This research aims to explore the implementation of dance in the gross motor development of young children at the AL-KAUSAR Kindergarten in Medan. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach, with a focus on gross motor movements such as body balance, changes in movement speed, and coordination of body parts when dancing. Primary data was obtained through field observations, while secondary data came from books, journals and other relevant references. The results of the research show that dance learning at AL-KAUSAR Medan Kindergarten makes a positive contribution to children's gross motor development, with gymnastics and dance lessons integrated into the curriculum. The implementation of this dance art is carried out through demonstration methods and direct practice, allowing children to express creativity and develop various aspects of their development. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide valuable insight for educators and early childhood education practitioners in enriching children's learning experiences through the art of dance

TRANSFORMING LEARNING EXPERIENCES IN ART AND DESIGN APPRECIATION: A RESEARCH ON E-LEARNING DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT

The paper focuses on the design and development of an e-learning course in art and design appreciation. Using the ADDIE model, the study explores the integration of the See Think Wonder approach in the e-learning context. The research aims to enhance learners' engagement, understanding, and appreciation of art and design. The study consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of art and design appreciation e-learning. The findings indicate that the See Think Wonder approach positively impacts the e-learning environment by increasing learner engagement, critical thinking skills, and emotional connection to artworks. The approach facilitates active participation, critical discussions, and improved observation and interpretation of artworks. The e-learning platform offers flexibility and accessibility, enabling learners to study at their own pace. Multimedia elements and interactive activities enhance the learning experience. Evaluation results support the effectiveness of the course, with learners recognizing the value of the See Think Wonder approach in enhancing art and design appreciation. It improves their confidence in analyzing artworks and deepens their understanding of artistic elements and principles. The research contributes to the field of art and design education by highlighting the potential of e-learning in transforming learning experiences. It provides insights for educators and instructional designers seeking to enhance art and design education through digital platforms.

Long-Acting Injectable Antiretrovirals for HIV Treatment: A Multi-Site Qualitative Study of Clinic-Level Barriers to Implementation in the United States.

Long-acting injectable antiretroviral therapy (LAI ART) has the potential to address adherence obstacles associated with daily oral ART, leading to enhanced treatment uptake, adherence, and viral suppression among people living with HIV (PLWH). Yet, its potential may be limited due to ongoing disparities in availability and accessibility. We need a better understanding of the organizational context surrounding the implementation of LAI ART, and to inform its widespread rollout, we conducted 38 in-depth interviews with medical and social service providers who offer HIV care at private and hospital-based clinics across six US cities. Our findings highlight real-world implementation barriers outside of clinical trial settings. Providers described ongoing and anticipated barriers across three stages of LAI ART implementation: (1) Patient enrollment (challenges registering patients and limited insurance coverage), (2) medication delivery (insufficient personnel and resources), and (3) leadership and management (lack of interprofessional coordination and a lack of programming guidelines). Providers described how these barriers would have a disproportionate impact on under-resourced clinics, potentially exacerbating existing disparities in LAI ART access and adherence. Our findings suggest strategies that clinic leadership, policymakers, and other stakeholders can pursue to promote rapid and equitable LAI ART implementation in clinics across the United States. Resource and staffing investments could support clinics to begin, sustain, and scale up LAI ART delivery; additionally, the establishment of guidelines and tools could facilitate wider adoption of LAI ART across clinical settings. These efforts are crucial to promote resourced, standardized, and equitable implementation of LAI ART and maximize its potential to help end the HIV epidemic.

Community Perception of Kuda Lumping Art in The Simpang Kiri Sub-District Subussalam City

This research is about "public perception of kuda lumping art in Simpang Kiri District, Subulussalam city". The researcher tries to describe: (1) the implementation of kuda lumping art in Simpang Kiri District, Subulussalam city. (2) the public's perception of the presence of kuda lumping art in the city of Subulussalam. The purpose of this study was to find out the implementation and public perception of kuda lumping art. This research belongs to the type of descriptive research with a qualitative approach. While collecting data using interview techniques. Informants in this study amounted to 8 (eight) people. The findings of this study indicate that the implementation of kuda lumping was performed by 8 or more young people who rode horses made of woven bamboo and then dressed in typical Javanese traditional dress and accompanied by musical instruments that were played on the spot. At the end of the event some players will experience a kind of possession. The community accepts the existence of kuda lumping art and is quite enthusiastic about watching this art. Of course, this art reaps good and bad responses from the community. But the community still accepts and expects the preservation of kuda lumping art. The conclusions of this study are: (1) The art of kuda lumping in its implementation is dancing using a piggyback made of woven bamboo directly accompanied by traditional Javanese musical instruments. (2) the art of Kuda Lumping is well received by the people of Subulussalam City without neglecting the existing arts.

The reform and practice of art design class Revolution in higher vocational colleges under the background of double high school

In the development of social economy and science and technology innovation, higher vocational colleges in our country in the full implementation of education department and financial department on the implementation of Chinese characteristics in planning the development of the high level of higher vocational schools and professional opinions, the continuous optimization of the art design class course system and education mode, puts forward the effective solutions for specific problems. On the basis of understanding the double-hook background, according to the implementation of vocational art and design curriculum education in recent years, this paper makes clear the practical significance of constructing smart classroom, and deeply discusses how to reform high-quality art and design classroom under the double-high background. The final experimental results prove that the reform of art design class in higher vocational colleges under the background of double high school meets the requirements of modern talent cultivation and can provide basic power for the development of art field.

PELATIHAN PERCAKAPAN BAHASA INGGRIS TENTANG LIKE AND DISLIKE UNTUK ANAK-ANAK PANTI ASUHAN AR-RIDHO DEPOK JAWA BARAT

Community service is the practical implementation of science, technology, art, and culture directly into society aimed at helping a particular community in various activities without expecting anything in return. In 2022, English Language and Literature study program lecturers held an English Conversation Workshop on Like and Dislike of children at Ar-Ridho Orphanage, Depok, West Java. The purpose of this workshop is to improve participants' English skills, especially speaking. Global competition is increasingly fierce demanding the creation of quality human resources, one of which is by having international communication skills, namely using English. A total of 20 participants attended this workshop face-to-face. The methods used are the lecture method and the role-play technique. With the implementation of this workshop, participants are expected to be able to enhance their confidence and motivation to speak and practice the material provided in daily conversations.

Incidence and pattern of tuberculosis immune reconstitution inflammatory syndrome (TB-IRIS) in patients on anti-retroviral therapy: An observational study

BackgroundTuberculosis-immune reconstitution inflammatory syndrome is an atypical, immoderate immune response mounted by the refurbishing immune system against the mycobacterium tuberculosis, commonly seen in HIV-infected individuals. ART significantly enhances one's immunity. However, this enhancement in immunity also sets off a number of inflammatory processes termed as Immune Reconstitution Inflammatory Syndrome (IRIS). MethodsThis observational study was conducted with the aim of assessing the incidence and pattern of TB-IRIS in people living with HIV/AIDS on ART registered at the ART Centre of S.C.B. Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack. They were evaluated for their plasma viral load and CD4 count at baseline. Thereafter, the plasma viral load was assessed every week and the CD4 count was assessed fortnightly. Each study participant was followed-up for a period of three months to look for any onset of TB-IRIS. ResultsA total of 286 patients were included the study. The overall incidence of TB-IRIS was 7.7%. The occurrence of paradoxical TB-IRIS was nearly double than ART-associated TB-IRIS. There was a significant rise in the CD4 cell count in the patients of both paradoxical (p = 0.001) and ART-associated (p = 0.017) TB-IRIS. The plasma viral load at baseline also showed significant differences from the levels documented at the appearance of the TB-IRIS both in both the types i.e. paradoxical (p = 0.001) and ART-associated (p = 0.012) TB-IRIS. ConclusionPeople with HIV/TB coinfection experience high morbidity and death from all kinds of TB-IRIS, necessitating specific attention. As HIV-positive cases and implementation of ART continue to rise, it's vital to quickly rule out TB coinfection.

The results of this study are: first, concrete manifestations of the history of the Islamic civilization of the Fatimiyyah dynasty, namely the buildings of mosques, hotels, luxurious palaces, and forms of ornament and decoration. second, internal factors such as Islamic values contained in art, architectural art is knowledge from the Qur'an, and art cannot be separated from the local culture. External factors, namely the art of architecture, are influenced by the economy, international trade, and advances in science and technology. Third, this architectural art implies that the buildings at the Great Mahdiya Mosque, Al Azhar Mosque, Qarafa Mosque, Al-Hakim Mosque, and Other Cairo Mosques, Cairo Fort, Bab Al Futuh, Bab Al Nasr, and Bab Zuweil then form buildings like many passageways, a central courtyard surrounded by arcades, curly arches, portals, domes, ornate façades and architectural features of East and West.</em></p><p> </p>

Manajemen Pembelajaran Seni Rupa Berbasis Kearifan Lokal dalam Mata Pelajaran Seni Budaya Kelas VII di MTsN 1 Lombok Barat

In this study the aims to find out how the implementation of art and cultural learning activities was implemented by teachers in increasing students' creativity and knowledge starting from the planning, implementation and evaluation stages as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of local wisdom-based art materials in class VII art and culture subjects at MTsN 1 West Lombok. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Cultural arts learning planning is poured into teacher learning tools but still needs to be further developed with reference to local wisdom. In visual art material, the teacher maps learning concepts that focus on two-dimensional works, namely drawing flora, fauna and natural objects as well as drawing decorations with reference to traditional regional motifs. (2) The implementation of fine arts materials is directed so that students are able to appreciate and create fine arts, learning activities are not only focused in the classroom. (3) Evaluation of fine arts material is carried out by the teacher in writing and from the two-dimensional works made by students to find out how far students' understanding of the material has increased. (4) Supporting factors are influenced by high student enthusiasm, mastery and method of delivering material interesting by the teacher and the atmosphere of a beautiful and comfortable school environment. The inhibiting factors are that not all students have tools and materials to support practical activities, lack of references to traditional motifs, lack of guidance to teachers in designing and developing lesson plans that refer to local wisdom.

Challenges and commonly used countermeasures in the implementation of lifelong antiretroviral therapy for PMTCT in Central Uganda: Health providers' perspective.

Uganda has implemented lifelong antiretroviral therapy for the prevention of mother-to-child HIV transmission since September 2012. Implementation of this strategy has been met with health provider and client challenges which have persisted up to date. This study explored providers' perspectives on the challenges and countermeasures of the implementation and scale-up of lifelong ART among pregnant and breastfeeding women. A qualitative descriptive study was conducted whereby 54 purposively selected participants from six facilities in three districts of Central Uganda namely; Masaka, Mityana, and Luwero were recruited. A key informant interview guide was used to collect data from the study participants. The data were thematically analysed using Atlas-ti, Version 7. Study participants reported challenges under the themes of 1) inadequacy of HIV service delivery (lack of relevant training, health provider shortages, inadequate counselling, stock-outs of essential HIV commodities); 2) Non-utilization of HIV services (Non-disclosure of HIV- positive results, denial of HIV positive results, fear to be followed up, unwillingness to be referred, large catchment area, lack of transport); and 3) Suboptimal treatment adherence (fear of ART side effects, preference for traditional medicines, low male partner involvement in care and treatment). Strategies such as on-job training, mentorship, task shifting, redistribution of HIV commodities across facilities, accompanying of women to mother-baby care points, ongoing counseling of women, peers, and family support groups were commonly used countermeasures. This study highlights key challenges that health providers face in implementing lifelong antiretroviral therapy services among pregnant and postpartum women. Context-specific, innovative, and multilevel system interventions are required at national, district, health facility, community and individual levels to scale up and sustain the lifelong antiretroviral therapy strategy among pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Protocol for the pilot quasi-experimental controlled trial of a gender-responsive implementation strategy with providers to improve HIV outcomes in Uganda

BackgroundAntiretroviral treatment (ART) is the most effective clinical intervention for reducing morbidity and mortality among persons living with HIV. However, in Uganda, there are disparities between men and women in viral load suppression and related HIV care engagement outcomes, which suggests problems with the implementation of ART. Gender norms are a known driver of HIV disparities in sub-Saharan Africa, and patient-provider relationships are a key factor in HIV care engagement; therefore, the role of gender norms is important to consider in interventions to achieve the equitable provision of treatment and the quality of ART counseling.MethodsThe overall research objective of this study is to pilot test an implementation strategy (i.e., methods to improve the implementation of an evidence-based intervention) to increase providers’ capacity to provide gender-responsive treatment and counseling to men and women on HIV treatment in Uganda. Delivered to HIV providers, this group training adapts evidence-based strategies to reduce gender biases and increase skills to deliver gender-specific and transformative HIV counseling to patients. The implementation strategy will be piloted through a quasi-experimental controlled trial. Clinics will be randomly assigned to either the intervention or control conditions. The trial will assess feasibility and acceptability and explore barriers and facilitators to implementation and future adoption while gathering preliminary evidence on the implementation strategy’s effectiveness by comparing changes in patient (N = 240) and provider (N = 80–140) outcomes across intervention and control clinics through 12-month follow-up. Quantitative data will be descriptively analyzed, qualitative data will be analyzed through thematic analysis, and these data will be mixed during the presentation and interpretation of results where appropriate.DiscussionThis pilot intervention trial will gather preliminary evidence on the acceptability, feasibility, and potential effect of a novel implementation strategy to improve men and women’s HIV care engagement, with the potential to reduce gender disparities in HIV outcomes.Trial registrationClinicaltrials.gov NCT05178979, retrospectively registered on January 5, 2022

DIY Tapestri Kit As An Alternative Art Activity In The Pandemic Era

The spread of the corona virus forced some people to school or work from home that might end in boredom. Art activities could be done to fill their leisure time and at the same time to entertain them selves. One of the artistic activities needed to be developed was the art of tapestry. The Practice Based Research method was a method employed in designing a DIY Tapestri Kit. The main goal was to inspire and increase the public’s awareness about the existence of tapestry art. DIY Tapestry Kit was a set of tapestry art handicraft tools in the form of looms with a variety of yarns that could be used to produce a variety of functional artworks. The existence of innovations in the form of DIY Tapestry Kit supported the on-going and subsequent implementation of tapestry art.

Long-Acting Injectable Drugs for HIV-1 Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis: Considerations for Africa.

Sub-Saharan Africa carries the highest burden of HIV-1 and AIDS. About 39% of all new infections in the world in 2020 were in this region. Oral PrEP was found to be very effective in reducing the risk of HIV-1 transmission. However, its effectiveness is highly dependent on users adhering to the drugs. The availability of long-acting injectable PrEP that eliminates the need for a daily pill may increase PrEP uptake and adherence in people who struggle to adhere to oral PrEP. The USA’s FDA approved long-acting cabotegravir (CAB-LA) for PrEP of HIV-1 in December 2021. In this review, we discussed the implementation challenges to the successful roll-out of CAB-LA in Africa and measures to address these implementation challenges. Some health system-level challenges include the cost of the drug, its refrigeration requirement, and the shortage of healthcare providers trained to administer parenteral medicines. In contrast, client challenges include lack of knowledge, accessibility of the drug, side effects, stigma, and lack of family and community support. These challenges can be addressed by several measures emanating from lessons learned from the successful implementation of ART, oral PrEP, and immunization in the continent. Some steps include advocating for waiving of CAB-LA patent licence, conducting demonstration projects in Africa, promoting the use of renewable energy sources such as solar energy, healthcare provider training, task shifting, community engagement, client education, and implementing adherence promotion strategies.

Obstetric and Perinatal Outcomes After Assisted Reproductive Technology in Women With Cesarean Scar.

IntroductionAssisted reproductive technology (ART) and previous Cesarean section (CS) are independently associated with the risk of adverse obstetric and perinatal outcomes in general. Few studies have focused on the association between adverse obstetric and perinatal outcomes and ART used in the high-risk population of women with previous CS.Materials and MethodsA retrospective cohort study including 14,099 women with a previous delivery and a subsequent delivery between April 2014 and April 2020 was conducted at our hospital. We assessed the risk of adverse obstetric and perinatal outcomes in pregnancies conceived by ART in women with previous CS, using log-binomial regression models.ResultsIn women with previous CS, ART singleton pregnancies were associated with an increased risk of maternal complications, such as pregnancy complications, placental anomalies of implantation, postpartum hemorrhage, and preterm birth (PTB), as compared to spontaneously conceived pregnancies. The implementation of ART and previous CS interacted in a synergistic manner to increase the likelihood of the placenta accreta spectrum in women with singleton pregnancies [adjusted relative risk (aRR) 5.30, 95% confidence interval (CI) 4.01–7.00; relative risk due to interaction: 1.41, 95%CI 0.07–2.75]. In women with previous CS who underwent ART, women with singletons conceived through intracytoplasmic sperm injection were at increased risk of velamentous placenta (aRR 2.46, 95%CI 1.35–4.48) compared with those with singletons conceived through in vitro fertilization (IVF), whereas women with singletons conceived through cleavage-stage embryo transfer (ET) were at increased risk of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) (aRR 1.74, 95%CI 1.16-2.60) than those with singletons conceived through blastocyst–stage ET.ConclusionPregnancies conceived through ART were at increased risk for adverse obstetric and perinatal outcomes in women who had previously delivered by CS, particularly for placental anomalies of implantation. In women with previous CS undergoing ART, IVF and blastocyst–stage ET may be a relatively safe treatment.
