In the previous report, we have investigated with the purpose to chooze a paint with high anticorrosive property and durability which is suitable for repainting the interior of steel water reservoirs and water heaters which are provided on passenger cars.In this second report, four grades of corrosion resistant paints were immersed in distilled water to see if their durability can be predicted from the initial values of electrochemical measurements and the results were compared with those obtained from immersion in saline water; it was confirmed that these two results could not be equated to each other.
