During the last decade, renewable technology based microgrid (MG) has attracted considerable attention as a higher efficiency and reliable resources of hybrid energy system (HES). In this work, wind turbine (WT), solar photovoltaic (PV) arrays and storage batteries (SB) are handled to make the HES which may be optimal with regards to multiple constraints including economic efficiency, reliability and environmental pollutants. The PV/WT/SB based HES of connected to utility network comforts the choice maker and can help mitigate the variability of the renewable energy resource. The Non-dominated Sorting-based Hybrid Cuckoo Search Optimization (NSHCSO) is exploited to create of the HES with takes account of different practical scenarios. A probabilistic based method has been used to carry out the test case with considering uncertainty related to solar radiation and wind speed variations. Additionally, sensitivity analysis has been implemented to investigate the significance of each parameter on the final optimal design. The results indicate that the developed optimization methodology is more efficient and reliable for the hybrid renewable power generation systems.
