Cross-age stories or also known as hikayat story texts have their own uniqueness when compared to other types of texts. The uniqueness of the hikayat story text is in the presentation of the language in the story that uses archaic language, the contents of the story, and the plot used in the story. These uniqueness certainly requires an effective strategy in the learning process. After the Covid-19 pandemic has changed many aspects of human life, one of the aspects that has an impact is the field of education. In the field of education that is very influential is an educator or teacher. A teacher is required to always update and actualize the times and technology in relation to the learning process. Teachers must find alternative solutions to various problems for the smoothness and achievement of learning. One alternative solution to this problem is the implementation of Google Classroom media with a hybrid learning system. The hybrid teaching and learning process can use the help of electronic technology, one of which is Google Classroom. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The purpose of this article is to describe the implementation of Google Classroom in teaching story texts for class X-5 at SMA N 11 Semarang. The results obtained from this article are that the implementation of Google classroom in learning story texts for class X-5 at SMA N 11 Semarang runs well and smoothly and can improve student learning outcomes. Integrating constructivist principles in an adaptive hybrid learning system for developing social entrepreneurship education among college students

Education in social entrepreneurship for college students is a gradual and evolving process that shapes their career outlook and skill development. This journey involves employing various strategies to engage with and analyze innovative concepts. Adaptive hybrid learning systems adjust course materials dynamically based on individual students' skills and learning progress, drawing from diverse learning theories and instructional interventions. Empowering students to drive positive social change is a central focus, with social entrepreneurs tackling global challenges such as poverty, unemployment, gender inequality, inadequate education, healthcare, and governance. While some students may find traditional classroom settings inconvenient and prefer the flexibility of hybrid learning, others weigh the risks and benefits of classroom instruction differently. Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is utilized for empirical analysis, utilizing early-stage social entrepreneurship education as a performance measure and cultural probabilities as variables. The significance of college students' contributions through social enterprises is increasingly recognized, prompting the development of Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) models to forecast and assess career growth trends. The DEA-CNN framework aims to enhance adaptive hybrid learning systems by evaluating social entrepreneurs' knowledge, skills, and competencies. Social entrepreneurship not only addresses environmental concerns but also enriches cultural diversity. Many college students prioritize practical action over mere ideation, particularly in entrepreneurship.

Reinventing Corrective Feedback Strategies In A Higher Education Academic Writing Synchronous Course

Corrective feedback (CF) for academic writing is essential to improve writing skills. This study discovers how CF strategies are reinvented in an academic writing synchronous course. Therefore, within the framework of sociocultural and humanistic approaches in education, 71 students from two non-quasi classes in a university contributed by sharing their points of view for the CF they received. Class observations and surveys were conducted to gather data on how the CF was given and how the students perceived it. The main findings indicate that the CF was choral to the class, explicit, unfocused, and mixed of oral and written. Furthermore, peer reviews were conducted as the follow-up activity. Through these CF strategies, most participants have positive acceptance and comprehension. They also approve that their academic writing skills improved after the course ended. Despite a small number of students who preferred a direct one-on-one basis, this research shows pedagogical CF strategies and efficacies towards independent learning that are prevalent and feasible to the continuous online or hybrid learning systems nowadays.

Analysis of Learning Media Needs for Physics of Motion Course Based on Android Platform

Teaching and learning activities in the post-pandemic educational environment are already underway in both schools and universities. However, there are also those who still apply a hybrid learning system, one of which is the learning system at Indraprasta PGRI University which still applies a hybrid learning system, namely the physics of motion course. Utilizing Android-based learning media can enjoy learning experiences, facilitating access to various educational resources. It is important to know the needs of students and educators in the process of learning physics of motion to improve the quality of learning, namely by conducting a needs analysis. The aim of this research is to determine the importance of the need for Android-based motion physics learning media. The method used in the research is exploratory descriptive research. From the results of observations and interviews conducted with several motion physics lecturers and observing learning activities in class, the methods used in learning still use classical methods. Learning the physics of motion using Matlab requires a video guide so that it is easy for students to understand. From the results of filling out the questionnaire via a questionnaire, it can be concluded that the results of the analysis of students' needs for Android learning media in the physics of motion course showed that 88.31% answered that they agreed with the development of an Android-based motion physics learning application. So it can be concluded that the development of Android-based motion physics learning media is needed by Informatics Engineering students at Indraprasta PGRI University.

Implementasi Sistem Pembelajaran Hybrid Learning sebagai Upaya untuk Meningkatkan Partisipasi Belajar Peserta Didik Tuna Daksa di PKBM Rumpun Aksara Jember

This research examines the implementation of the Hybrid Learning learning system as an effort to increase the participation of students with physical impairments in PKBM Rumpun Aksara Jember. The aim of this research is to describe how the Hybrid Learning learning system is implemented at PKBM Rumpun Aksara and to determine the supporting factors and inhibiting factors for implementing the Hybrid Learning learning system at PKBM Rumpun Aksara. PKBM Rumpun Aksara is a non-formal educational institution in Indonesia that organizes literacy programs for children and adults who have dropped out of formal education. The problem in this research is the lack of participation level of students with physical impairments to take part in face-to-face learning at PKBM Rumpun Aksara, so a learning innovation is presented that does not require students with physical impairments to always attend PKBM Rumpun Aksara. This learning innovation is Hybrid Learning. Hybrid Learning is a combination of online learning and offline or face-to-face learning. This research uses qualitative relationships with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this research include: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Hybrid Learning system at PKBM Rumpun Aksara starting from the planning stage, the implementation stage to the evaluation stage has been categorized as good, but there are several things that must be considered and adjusted to the needs of students with physical impairments.

Students' perspectives of a hybrid learning system in Kazakhstani higher education: A case study

Hybrid learning is a relatively new approach in Kazakhstan's educational system. The transition to a new format necessitates a significant amount of effort and restructuring at the universities. The problems of researching the advantages and disadvantages of implementing this kind of instruction in the classroom are very relevant. The study's goal was to investigate students' attitudes towards implementing a hybrid learning environment. A qualitative method of data analysis was applied in the study. 1,186 students participated in hybrid learning at various universities in Kazakhstan. According to the findings, students value the flexibility and convenience of attending classes remotely through a two-way video conference. However, the findings also indicate that this new learning environment faces several pedagogical and technological challenges. These findings emphasize the importance of assisting students in understanding hybrid learning resources and goals thereby creating opportunities for success in hybrid learning. Policymakers in education can use it as a guide to develop policies related to crisis management or inclusive education as well as curriculum documents and resources for hybrid learning.

RD-OCT net: hybrid learning system for automated diagnosis of macular diseases from OCT retinal images

Macular Edema is a leading cause of visual impairment and blindness in patients with ocular fundus diseases. Due to its non-invasive and high-resolution characteristics, optical coherence tomography (OCT) has been extensively utilized for the diagnosis of macular diseases. The manual detection of retinal diseases by clinicians is a laborious process, further complicated by the challenging identification of macular diseases. This difficulty arises from the significant pathological alterations occurring within the retinal layers, as well as the accumulation of fluid in the retina. Deep Learning neural networks are utilized for automatic detection of retinal diseases. This paper aims to propose a lightweight hybrid learning Retinal Disease OCT Net with a reduced number of trainable parameters and enable automatic classification of retinal diseases. A Hybrid Learning Retinal Disease OCT Net (RD-OCT) is utilized for the multiclass classification of major retinal diseases, namely neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD), diabetic macular edema (DME), retinal vein occlusion (RVO), and normal retinal conditions. The diagnosis of retinal diseases is facilitated by the use of hybrid learning models and pre-trained deep learning models in the field of artificial intelligence. The Hybrid Learning RD-OCT Net provides better accuracy of 97.6% for nAMD, 98.08% for DME, 98% for RVO, and 97% for the Normal group. The respective area under the curve values were 0.99, 0.97, 1.0, and 0.99. The utilization of the RD-OCT model will be useful for ophthalmologists in the diagnosis of prevalent retinal diseases, due to the simplicity of the system and reduced number of trainable parameters.

Reformulation of The Post-Pandemic Learning System in Responding the Challenges of Lost Learning and Lost Generation

This study aims to reformulate the post-pandemic learning system at UIN Imam Bonjol and UIN Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addari in responding to the challenges of lost learning and lost generation. This research used a qualitative approach with a multi-case study method. Participants in this study were selected by purposive sampling, namely institutional field, and academic leaders, LPM, lecturers and students. Data collection techniques using focus group discussions and interviews. The data analysis technique was carried out with individual and cross-case analyses. The research findings stated that the pandemic affected the learning system, for example, through changes in student attitudes, low motivation in learning, readiness of teaching materials, limited ability to use technology, and network disruption. Policies related to the implementation of distance learning bring challenges that must be faced by UIN Imam Bonjol and UIN Syahada, including determining learning goals, adapting the learning system, adjusting the characteristics of lecturers and students, as well as the need for learning facilities. UIN Imam Bonjol and UIN Syahada reformulated the learning system by implementing the hybrid learning system to anticipate the occurrence of lost learning. Lecturers and students responded positively to the new learning system policy, in line with the benefits obtained, for example, flexibility in learning, students are used to self-study, digital-based learning materials, still respect face-to-face learning, flipped learning innovation, curriculum appropriate to the industrial era 4.0, and the implementation of an independent curriculum.

The Influence of Online Classroom Games (OCG) on Undergraduates’ Academic Excellence: A Study in the Context of Hybrid Learning

Hybrid learning has gained momentum globally, offering a viable alternative to traditional face-to-face education. As it involves combining traditional classroom instruction with online elements, hybrid learning has expanded possibilities for enriching education. Due to this fact, educators are constantly seeking innovative ways to engage students in the ever-evolving educational landscape. Hence, exploring diverse teaching tools beyond traditional methods is crucial. This concept paper explores the influence of Online Classroom Games (OCG) on the academic attainment of undergraduates, utilizing a qualitative approach to gather data. Initially, the interview transcripts will be gathered from 4 programs in the cluster of Business and Management faculty involving 16 participants. They will be carefully reviewed to identify recurring patterns. The findings of this study will offer empirically-based strategies to heighten student engagement and improve learning outcomes in the contemporary educational sphere. Ultimately, the outcomes of this research aspire to aid the educational community in readying itself for the hybrid and flexible learning system, as recently introduced by the Malaysia Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE).

Embedding physical activity into the undergraduate curricula of a Portuguese medical school

Abstract Background One of the strategies endorsed by the World Health Organization and the European Commission to promote physical activity (PA) is to incorporate PA content into the curricula of healthcare professionals. Objectives As part of the VANGUARD project (supported by the European Union Erasmus+ Programme), we aimed to analyse the acceptability of a course on PA and health among undergraduate medical students. The School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences of the University of Porto (ICBAS) was invited to participate. An online survey was administered in June-July 2022 to solicit the input of the students regarding the importance and the operational procedures of implementing a PA and health course into their curricula. Results A total of 77 students answered the survey (median age of 21.0 years [interquartile range, P25-P75, 20-24], 75.3% female). Students rated the importance of incorporating PA content in their medical degree program with a median (P25-P75) of 5 (4-5) on a scale of 1 to 5. Most students expressed an interest in PA and mental health (88.3%), cancer (75.3%), cardiovascular disease (75.3%), diabetes (68.8%), and pregnancy (68.8%). In terms of the operational aspects, students expressed their preference for a course offered in the second year (33.8%); as part of the epidemiology and public health discipline (27.3%); optional (58.4%); through a hybrid learning system (49.4% [face-to-face activities + online live sessions + online self-paced learning]); taught in Portuguese (66.2%); with face-to-face assessments (55.8%); with continuous evaluation (77.9%); and using quantitative grading (62.3%). Conclusions Medical students showed considerable acknowledgement regarding the importance of incorporating PA and health into their curricula. Additionally, they provided guidance on developing and implementing a course on this topic. A course is going to be offered to the students and proposed to the Council of Portuguese Medical Schools to be scaled up nationally. Key messages • Medical students considered PA and health as a very important topic for curricula. • Medical students have specific preferences for embedding new courses in their curricula.

Evaluasi Pembelajaran PAI Masa Pandemi Covid-19 di Fatih Bilingual School Kota Banda Aceh

Evaluation in the teaching and learning process is an important component that cannot be separated from the entire learning process. Even in Islamic learning, teachers need to evaluate with the aim of measuring the level of success of students to be achieved in learning activities. However, during the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus in Indonesian territory, how can teachers still carry out the process of evaluating Islamic religious education learning in schools. SMA Fatih Bilingual School is one of the leading schools in Banda Aceh City which also implements online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a descriptive-analytical qualitative research that aims to describe the process of planning, implementing, and evaluating Islamic religious education learning during the Covid-19 pandemic by examining data obtained from SMA Fatih Bilingual School, Banda Aceh City. Based on the theoretical study and the results of research in the field, the researcher concludes that the results of research on the evaluation of Islamic religious education learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMA Fatih Bilingual School Kota Banda Aceh are as follows: PAI learning evaluation is a series of activities in collecting various information systematically. That way, teachers can describe the ability of students during the learning process and can be used as a follow-up in making a decision in the future. The learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic is carried out through a hybrid learning system by combining blended learning strategies.

Identification of Student Learning Style Preference Profiles in Hybrid Learning Settings: An Essential Consideration for Developing Learning Strategies

After Covid-19, several educational institutions have adopted the hybrid learning system. The transition of learning systems from face-to-face to hybrid settings presents obstacles and challenges that require adaptive solutions. The compatibility between hybrid learning systems and student learning style preferences is an issue that needs to be studied in more depth. Students have their preferred way when it comes to learning. They prefer to learn through visual (V), aural (A), read-write (R), or kinesthetic (K). Depending on their learning styles, student adaptation may have been challenging. In this regard, a study was designed to identify the learning style preferences among students. The VARK questionnaire is one of the most widely used diagnostic tools, allowing teachers to understand students' learning preferences and develop innovative learning practices. A quantitative cross-sectional design was conducted among students (n=486) in Univeristy X using the VARK questionnaire. Student learning style preferences were identified using latent profile analysis. Our findings suggest that most students were identified as having multiple learning modalities, while the rest had a single learning modality. Prevalence of kinesthetic and aural learning styles preference highest among students, followed by visual and read-write learning styles. Understanding how students retain the knowledge imparted to them is essential for lecturers to develop innovative and adaptive strategies.

Challenges of Using Online Distance Learning Platforms in Higher Education: Perception of Business Students

The year 2020 has changed the world of education intensely with the distinctive rise of online distance learning (ODL), whereby teaching and learning are undertaken remotely and on digital platforms. Driven by both the pandemic and advancements in digital technologies, the new norm of online learning continues to persist post-pandemic. Therefore, this paper explored the extent of ODL challenges faced by semester 5 business students in one of the public universities in Malaysia. Their perception of internal and external challenges namely time management, attitude, self-esteem, internet connection, socioeconomic and non-conducive environment will be examined. By using non-probability sampling, data were gathered from a total of 110 semesters 5 business students from 9 courses in the Faculty of Business and Management. The findings of this study revealed that internal challenges domain (time management, attitude, self-esteem) affect students the most in ODL. Consequently, the result of this study is hoped to help the education community prepare for a hybrid and flexible learning system as recently announced by the Malaysia Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE).

Implementasi Math Clinic Dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Matematis Siswa Dengan System Pembelajaran Hibryd

The sudden appearance of Covid-19, which has disrupted the stability of almost all lines of life on earth, has now begun to subside. The learning and teaching process in schools has also entered the new normal, even face-to-face learning has been 100% enforced. However, the war between Russia and Ukraine which is still going on today has had a negative impact on the global economy. Globally, the war in Ukraine is a "disaster" for the world that will reduce global economic growth. The government has also increased the price of fuel oil (BBM) in our country. This of course will have an impact on rising prices of goods, including the price of basic necessities. The impact of the increase in the prices of these necessities will make it difficult for the people's economy, especially the middle to lower economic community. The people who live in Rorinata Housing Phase X, Hamlet IV, Suka Maju Village, Kec. Sunggal Deli Serdang Regency is a community with a middle to lower economy. This of course will indirectly affect the ability of parents of students who live in the housing to pay for additional learning for their children. Or in other words, students' parents will find it difficult to pay for additional tutoring for their children. One way to overcome this problem is through the Mathematics Clinic (Math Clinic Program). The application of the Math Clinic with the Hybrid Learning System has been able to help and improve the mathematical abilities of students who live in Phase X Rorinata Housing, Hamlet IV, Suka Maju Village, Kec. Sunggal Deli Serdang Regency.

Pemenuhan Kebutuhan Psikologis Dasar sebagai Mediator antara Dukungan Dosen dan Academic Buoyancy

While adapting to the hybrid learning system, students often encounter various obstacles. It takes the ability to overcome it, or what is known as academic buoyancy. This study aims to analyze the role of essential psychological fulfillment as a mediator in the relationship between lecturer support and student academic buoyancy when carrying out hybrid learning. This type of research is quantitative research using an explanatory research approach. Data was collected through survey techniques carried out online using a Google form for two weeks. This study uses statistical analysis of mediation using the Heyes Process Macro. The results of the mediation analysis of 115 participants show that fulfillment of basic psychological needs partially mediates the relationship between lecturer support and academic buoyancy. Lecturer support is proven to have a direct influence on academic buoyancy. Partial mediation also shows that the fulfillment of basic psychological needs is also confirmed to play a psychological factor in explaining how lecturer support can affect academic buoyancy. Completion of these psychological needs will then affect the increase in academic buoyancy. It was concluded that the role of fulfilling basic psychological needs in bridging the relationship between lecturer support and academic buoyancy. Therefore, the implication of this research is the development of interventions with the target of manipulating support from lecturers to meet students' basic psychological needs.

THE EFFECT OF DIGITAL LITERACY AND HYBRID LEARNING ON STUDENT COMPETENCE IN INDONESIAN SUBJECTS CLASS XI 2021/2022 KALAM KUDUS CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL PEMATANG SIANTAR

The phenomenon of digital literacy learning at the Kalam Kudus Christian High School Pematang Siantar is influenced by the learning model used during the pandemic. Hybrid learning system is used in learning has an impact on increasing student competence. The purpose of this research is to find out the description of digital literacy, hybrid learning system and student competence at Indonesian subject in grade XI, and at the same time figuring out the effect of digital literacy and hybrid learning system on student competence. This research was completed with a literature and field research design. The type of data used is qualitative and quantitative data. The data sources used are primary and secondary data. The data was collected through questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The test of instrument through a validity test and reliability test. The technigues of data analysis are the test of descriptive qualitative and quantitative tests. This study stated that digital literacy and hybrid learning system have a positive and significant effect on the competence of students. It was concluded that digital literacy, and hybrid learning system at the competence of student were useful. There was a positive influence, and having a strong relationship in this phenomenon. It is necessary in managing the challenges of the learning data access, improving learning facilities and infrastructure, carrying out supervision and competitions which increasing up the intrest and skills.

PROBLEMATIKA PEPMBELAJARAN TATAP MUKA TERBATAS MATA PELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM

This research discusses the Problems of Limited Face-to-Face Learning in Islamic Religious Education Subject for Students at UPT SMA Negeri 6 Palopo. This study aims to (a) find out the application of limited face-to-face learning on Islamic religious education (PAI) subjects to the students of UPT SMA Negeri 6 Palopo. (b) knowing the problems of limited face-to-face learning on Islamic religious education (PAI) subjects at UPT SMA Negeri 6 Palopo (c) limited face-to-face learning solutions for Islamic religious education (PAI) subjects for students at UPT SMA Negeri 6 Palopo. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The research location is UPT SMA Negeri 6 Palopo. Subjects and objects of research are educators and students. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation. In this study, the data processing techniques used were data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing as well as data verification and analysis. The results showed that UPT SMA Negeri 6 Palopo implemented a hybrid learning system, namely a limited face-to-face learning system and online learning with odd-even sessions. Problems in the limited face-to-face from educators are the limitations in controlling students who take online learning, the concentration is divided so that it is less focused, the delivery of material seems rushed because of the limited time duration. Meanwhile, from students, there are demands to adapt to the type of learning they receive. Problems in learning religious education are the lack of students' understanding of the material provided, lack of motivation, there are still students who are not proficient in reading and memorizing prayers in the material for handling corpses. Efforts to overcome the problems of Limit. Face-to-Face Learning, namely for students who have a turn to study online, the learning model is in the form of presenting short material in the form of important points through WA groups or other applications and dominant in assignments. Meanwhile, those who get a face-to-face turn are limited to focusing on explanations and deepening of material and discussions. Persuasive approach, giving advice, enthusiasm and motivation.

Critical Thinking Skills Improvement of Students Through Guided Inquiry Learning Model with Scientific Approach

The COVID-19 pandemic pushed many schools to create hybrid learning systems due to drastic changes in the learning environment. Technology and knowledge have advanced swiftly in the 21st century. As the foundation of education, the school is expected to foster students' 4C skills, one of which is critical thinking. This study aimed to analyze how students' critical thinking skills changed after studying harmonic motion using the guided inquiry model and scientific approach. The study used a quantitative method with the pre-experimental design's one-group pre-test post-test procedure. A 10-question essay was used to obtain data from 31 students in grade X IPA 3. The findings indicated that students' critical thinking skills improved, with an N-Gain score of 0.72. As well as implications for this study, there were significant differences in critical thinking participants were educated with the T-test sample pair after using the santific suppression with the guided inquiry model.

The Significance Influence of Pancasila Education and Religion Education on the Formation of Pancasila Student Profile by Hybrid Learning

With the rapid development and progress of science and technology, there is almost no place where a hybrid learning system cannot be implemented, namely onsite or face-to-face learning and online learning via zoom meetings or Google meet or other online media, and it is no exception for Tri Mulya Junior High School at Cigugur, Kuningan, West Java, Indonesia. Therefore, this research can be carried out with the main objective to find out how significant the influence of Pancasila Education and Religion Education, in this case the Sundanese Wiwitan Religion, are on the formation of Pancasila student profile, which now is being promoted by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia? This simple study was designed using a quantitative method by distributing questionnaires to 35 students who are the total number of the students at Tri Mulya Junior High School . From the data obtained, after being processed with the SPSS 22 software program, it was found that Pancasila Education and Religion Education had a very significant influence on the Formation of Pancasila Student Profile for the students at Tri Mulya Junior High School, Cigugur, Kuningan, West Java, Indonesia.
