Today, Ukrainian companies are characterized by increased interest in personnel management. The number of staff, its cost and quality, namely professional knowledge, skills and abilities, are almost the main factors influencing the efficiency and competitiveness of the company in domestic and global markets. Scientific and technological progress – one of the fundamental factors of modern economic development – provides training and professional development of staff as the most important condition for radical improvement of the workforce, improving its characteristics in the labor market. Increasingly, local management is aware of the need for personnel planning, now planning the number and cost of staff to be involved in a particular area of management. But the processes of human resource development planning, ie the knowledge and skills that their employees must demonstrate in the workplace, are still in their infancy in Ukrainian enterprises. The article highlights the issue of training management staff at the company by means of psychological training. The principles of training and criteria for assessing the quality of training are provided.
