Empowering Pesantren as an Anti-Global Climate Change Center in Jember

Global climate change has been considered a more threatening problem to face. In particular, establishing a pesantren-based anti-global climate change center within Al-Qodiri Islamic Boarding School is seen as the mitigation system. As this program is meant to be a community service program, the ABCD community empowerment method was used. The results suggested that: First, in the research planning (define, discovery, dream, and design), the most critical assets to be developed were the human resource assets of the santri (lit. student). The objective is to develop the quality of the santri as the human resource asset to realize the pesantren-based anti-global climate change center—the service programs in the form of counseling, training, and mentoring. Second, the holistic transformation-based service was done through applicative and evaluative stages, which has improved the quality of the human resource assets of Al-Qodiri Islamic Boarding School Community holistically both in the aspects of knowledge, creativity, and ascertaining character awareness to establish an anti-global climate change society.

The Importance of Transformational Leadership in Creating Work Engagement to Improve Employee Performance: A Case Study of a Private University in Jakarta

This study aims at answering the questions how the work engagement of employees is in each department, what strategy is employed to improve employee performance and what type of leadership is expected by the staff. This study employed a case study approach of a qualitative research design. In this study a semi- structured interview is used to understand how participants experienced the phenomenon. The results of this study prove that work engagement will not be owned by every employee if it is not led by a transformational leader who can provide motivation and guidance to his subordinates and make the work atmosphere comfortable, so that his subordinates will feel they have a sense of belonging, towards the organization. This research also proves that transformational leaders always trust their staff and encourage them to be creative and innovative. Thus the performance of employees will increase and the organization will be more advanced with its human resource assets. This study provides insight into a view to improve the employee performance through work engagement and the role of transformational leadership and offers recommendations for future research.

Tree HR Model of Human Resource Development in Higher Education

<p><span>Research related to human resource development models in the world of education is very important, because the world of education is one of the determinants of the quality of HR assets. This research aims to find the HR model that best suits the development of Human Resources (HR) in higher education. The research uses qualitative methods. The type of research used is R&D (Research & Development). In the first year using the Analysis and Design approach from the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). Data collection was carried out through a literature review study of 90 articles indexed by Scopus, Sinta 1, Sinta 2, and interviews with 15 experts from the academic and professional world. This research was analyzed using the SWOT Analysis and FGD approach. The results of this research found a prototype tree-based HR model and important variables that were mapped to the tree structure, namely root variables, stem variables, and fruit/leaf variables. This research is used to improve the quality of higher education human resources. This has implications for improving the quality of lecturers both in self-development and teaching in higher education, which has an impact on the quality of students and Indonesia's human resource assets</span><span>.</span></p>

Equity Sensitivity and Employee Retention through the Lenses of Social Exchange Theory among Specialist Doctors in Malaysia

Purpose: Specialist doctors are the indispensable human resource asset of the healthcare industry due to their unique expertise built over time. They are the industry leaders in medical research and play a crucial role in providing specialized care producing better outcomes in overall patients’ treatment. Therefore, the increasing number of specialists leaving government health services has been concerning. In this regard, most research in specialist retention has focused on individual and job factors. However, there is scant research exploring the individual differences that may influence the intention to stay of specialists. Hence, this paper looks to contribute to the literature on specialist doctors’ retention by focusing on the role of equity sensitivity.
 Design/Methodology/Approach: The study first establishes the problem of specialist doctors’ retention thru analysis of current reports, secondly investigates the past literature in the constructs relationship and theoretical underpinning to establish the theoretical basis and direction of this study.
 Proposition: This paper heeds the limited theoretical precision of social exchange theory highlighted by previous studies to further specify the distinction between hedonically positive and negative values within equity sensitivity construct and in its relations with employee retention.
 Implications/Originality/Value: This paper presents the theoretical ambiguity of social exchange theory suggested by prior studies in articulating the bipolarity within equity sensitivity and employee retention research and presents a proposal for the way forward from the challenges in this area of study

Micro and Macro Scale Policy Framework to Decrease Risk of Flood Disasters in Central Java Province

Flood disasters dominate disaster events in Central Java Province, as many as twenty-three out of thirty-five regencies/cities in Central Java Province fall into the category of high-level flood disaster areas. The potential population exposed to floods is 25,463,472 people. Physical loss and the economy due to the flood 79,846.4 million rupiah so there are in the high class while environmental damage is 1,080 hectares which is also in the high class. The purpose of this study is to examine macro and micro scale policies to increase flood resilience in Central Java Province. The research approach was conducted using a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods. A quantitative approach is used to evaluate the determinants of flood disaster resilience on a micro scale; while the qualitative approach is used to find patterns relationship of flood disaster resilience that is interactive on a macro scale. The results of the research show that the macro aspects of policy are related to technology, infrastructure, ecology, and socio-political aspects related to flood disaster management. While the micro aspect is related to community livelihood assets in the form of human resource assets. Implementation of macro & micro scale policies in Central Java (in this case Semarang City) is closely related to increasing community resilience to reduce the risk of flooding in the region.

Santri Anti Baper: the Development of Narratives of Religious Moderation Through Digital Workshop in the Margoyoso Pati Pesantren Community

This dedication is a community-based service that aims to equip and boost the capacity of ‘santri’ in producing alternative narratives of religious moderation to the fight against intolerant narratives on social media. Kajen Margoyoso Pati Town is a village with tens of thousands of ‘santri’ potentially dominate digital public with religious moderation narratives. The team used the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) methodology to empower participants in this session, namely, human resource assets, social assets, and infrastructure assets are among the assets owned by pesantren. ‘Santri’ were still passive consumers of digital content and lack the awareness to produce digital content. Expected result from this training, learners will be able to generate alternative narratives by transforming negative narratives into positive narratives to counterbalance the narrative of intolerance on social media. From this training, students who participated in this training will implement on their pesantren web pages and on social media.

STATUS GIZI ANAK SEKOLAH DI MI DARUSSALAM KOTA BENGKULU

Problem: Children are one of Indonesia's future human resource assets that should receive more attention, especially those who are experiencing a period of growth and development, so they need adequate food consumption with balanced nutrition because strong, healthy, and intelligent children are a determinant of the nation's sustainability. Nutritional status is a measure of success in fulfilling nutrition for children. Research Objectives: This study aims to determine the nutritional status of school children at MI Darussalam, Bengkulu City. Research Methods: This study used a descriptive survey with a cross-sectional design. The population of this study was 131 students, with a total sample of 57 respondents. Then, the collection of data on nutritional status was carried out by weighing the weight using a stamping scale and measuring the height using a microtoise. Results: Assessment of children's nutritional status was carried out by calculating BMI (weight/height), and the results obtained were 43 respondents (75.4%) with good nutritional status, 5 (five) respondents (8.7%) with poor nutritional status, 7 (seven) respondents (12.2%) ) with more nutritional status and 2 (two) respondents (3.5%) with obesity. Conclusion: Malnutrition, overnutrition, and obesity are still found in children at MI Darussalam, Bengkulu City.

Pendampingan Peningkatan Kompetensi Profesional Guru PAI melalui Metode STEAM di SMP Plus Al-Qodiri Jember

A good teacher is a teacher who is able to carry out his duties properly, in this case a teacher must understand and carry out various kinds of competencies that exist and must be achieved by a teacher. One of the competencies that must be possessed by teachers is professional competence, which means that a teacher must have a broad and deep mastery of learning materials so that learning can run well and achieve learning objectives. At the SMP Plus Al-Qodiri institution, PAI teachers hone students' cognitive abilities still using classical methods, so that sometimes learning is still centered on the teacher and students get bored easily and learning and teaching activities are less effective. Therefore, one of the efforts to create creative, innovative, comfortable, and enjoyable learning is the Professionalism Training and Assistance for teachers through STEAM. STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. The approach in this assistance applies the Asset Based Community Development approach. The ABCD approach is a service method that seeks to develop an Asset-Based Community (potential), in which case the assets developed are asset teachers. Implementation of empowerment through five stages, namely the stages of Define, Discovery, Dream, Design and Deliver. The result of this assistance is the development of the quality of human resource assets for PAI teachers at SMP Plus Al-Qodiri Jember in creating and implementing STEAM in learning, so as to create active, effective, efficient, innovative and systematic learning in the classroom.

Impelementasi Metode MOORA Pada Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Pemilihan Pegawai Teladan

Employees are a human resource asset for a company in carrying out the operational activities of an organization or company in achieving the main goals of the organization or company. The purpose of this study is to select exemplary employees in the company using the MOORA method, so that the company will quickly evaluate exemplary employees once every 6 months. The results of the ranking of exemplary employees who get rank 1 are exemplary employees, namely Zaenal Yuswantoro with a total score of 0.179431073, for rank 2 exemplary employees, namely Yolanda Prasasti with a total score of 0.175703146, and 3rd rank exemplary employees, namely Ahmad Budianto with a total value of 0.174341166. The results of manual calculations and by using a web application based on the Laravel framework show no difference in the results of the grades and ratings of the employees being assessed

The Low level of Sustainability of Fishing Households Livelihood Assets Around Marine Conservation Areas

The sustainability of coastal community livelihood assets is very relevant to efforts to develop the blue economy. This research aims to determine the sustainability of fishing household livelihood assets on the coast of marine conservation areas. The research locations are in three coastal villages in the marine conservation area of the eastern region of Bintan Island, Riau Island Province of Indonesia. This research uses a survey method with a quantitative descriptive approach. The research results show that, in general, the development of marine conservation areas in the eastern region has not had a significant impact on increasing the sustainability of the livelihood assets of the surrounding community. Of the five assets measured, only physical assets showed the best level of sustainability, namely 83%. Meanwhile, the other four assets indicate a low level of sustainability, namely human resource assets (42%), social assets (42%), financial assets (23%) and natural assets (29%). The low level of sustainability of the four livelihood assets has implications for increasing pressure on natural resources and conflicts of interest in conservation areas, as well as increasing community vulnerability to climate change. It is necessary to study management models that can increase the sustainability of community livelihood assets.

PENGEMBANGAN ASET KOMUNITAS DESA MELALUI PUSAT PELATIHAN PERTANIAN DAN PEDESAAN SWADAYA (P4S) BERBASIS AGRIBISNIS (STUDI KASUS DI P4S HIKMAH FARM KECAMATAN PARE, KABUPATEN KEDIRI)

One of the organizations that supports Indonesia's agribusiness sector, particularly the supporting sub-system, is the Agricultural and Rural Training Center Self (P4S). The researcher's goal is to examine how village community assets have grown at P4S Hikmah Farm. The study took place between April and August of 2022. At P4S Hikmah Farm in Tretek Village, Pare District, Kediri Regency, the research was conducted. analysis of research data using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The findings revealed that: 1) the Agricultural and Rural Self-Help Training Center's (P4S) development of village community assets was excellent and took full advantage of every local village potential to enhance P4S performance;2) Due to P4S's emphasis on education, training, and the development of agricultural human resources, human resource assets are very important in organizing operations; 3) Social assets in P4S Hikmah Farm are also problematic since they are linked to community empowerment, particularly for farmers.

Integrasi ANP dan TOPSIS dalam Pemilihan Strategi Pemasaran yang Optimal

Creating a competitive advantage by providing value to customers has become a major focus in the formulation of marketing strategies. Making a good marketing strategy, companies can maximize the company's internal strengths and minimize existing weaknesses. CV ABC is a company engaged in the manufacture and supply of agricultural machinery, plantation machinery, fishery machinery, food processing tools and machinery and laboratory equipment. This research process uses the multi-criteria decision-making method Analytic Network Process (ANP) to determine the weight of the importance of the marketing resource evaluation criteria, as well as the TOPSIS method to obtain the best and ideal marketing strategy. The purpose of this research is to determine the optimal marketing strategy to be applied to the company. Therefore, this study uses the ANP method to obtain the relative weight of each criterion based on the respondents' subjective assessment of the company in CV ABC. To assess each marketing strategy, the TOPSIS method is used to rank the best and most ideal marketing strategies applied in the company. Based on the ANP results obtained, there are five criteria that are considered important in determining marketing strategies, these criteria are the ability to relate to customers (0,423), Reputation and Competition (0,208), Human Resource Assets (0,142), Market Innovation Ability (0,140), and Managerial Ability (0,088). The results of the ranking show that the differentiation strategy is the optimal marketing strategy for CV ABC.

Employee Performance Analysis as a Human Resource Asset in Batu City Government Inspectorate

This study aims to describe the variables of professional ethics , professional competence , locus of control, professional commitment , and employee performance in Inspectorate of Batu City, Analyze the influence of professional ethics, professional competence and locus of control on employee performance through professional commitment a t the Inspectorate of Batu City directly, and analyze the influence of professional ethics, professional competence and locus of control of professional commitment to the employee performance over the professional commitment at the Inspectorate of Batu City indirectly. Based on the research purposes , this study includes quantitative descriptive with the data collection technique used questionnaires. This study uses 43 employee as the samples with the data analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach based on Partial Least Square (PLS) . The results show (1) The Professional Ethics variable affects the employee performance, (2) The Professional Competency variable doesn't affect the Employee Performance, (3) The Locus Of Control variable doesn't affect the Employee Performance, (4) Professional Ethics variable affects the Professional Commitment, (5) Professional Competency variable affects the Professional Commitment, (6) Locus Of Control variable affects the Professional Commitment, (7) Professional Commitment variable affects the Employee Performance, (8) Professional Commitment variable partially mediates the relationship betweeen profession ethics and employee performance (9) Commitment professional variable fully mediates the relationship between the professional competence and employee performance, and (10) Commitment Professional variable fully mediates the relationship between Locus Of Control on employee performance.

The Strategy of the Sustainable Livelihoods for Beef Farmers in Bima Regency after the Flood Disaster in April 2021

The purpose of this study is to know the sustainable livelihood strategies of beef cattle farmers at the Bima region after the flood disaster. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The sampling method used the purposive sampling technique on 265respondents beef cattle farmersin the four research districts and 22 respondents as key informants consisting of the Head of the Livestock and Animal Health Service of Bima Regency, the Head of the West Nusa Tenggara Province (NTB) Forestry Service, the Head of the Bima Regency Agriculture Service, the Head of Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of Animal Husbandry in the 4 research districts, the Head of agricultural UPT in the 4 sub-districts of the research location, 10 village heads in the 4 sub-districts where the research is located, and the head of the livestock group. Data collection methods consisted of field observations, structured interviews using questionnaires, in-depth interviews using snowball sampling techniques, and secondary data accessed at Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) Bima Branch. The research locationconsists of 4 districts, among others: the Districts of Bolo, Madapangga, Woha, and Monta. The research location was selected based on the sub-districts that were worst affected by the floods. Primary data collection methods are observation and interviews while the secondary data collection method is by accessing the Department of Animal Husbandry and Animal Health in the Bima region and BNI. Data analysis using descriptive qualitative. The results of the research on sustainable livelihood strategies for beef cattle farmers to respond to flood disaster vulnerability are by implementing a strategy of utilizing available resource assets around the location of the livestock business which consists of human resource assets, natural resources, economic resources, physical resources and natural resources, power, social resources

Pengembangan BUMDES Bancangan Melalui Budidaya Maggot BSF Sebagai Alternatif Pakan Ternak

The purpose of establishing BUMDES is to encourage and accommodate all activities and increase community income, both those that develop according to local customs and culture as well as economic activities that are submitted to be managed by the community through central and local government programs or projects. as a village effort, the establishment of a Village-Owned Enterprise is really to maximize the potential of the village community, be it the economy of natural resources or human resources. however, development in the economic field of natural resources and human resources has not been carried out as much as possible. this is due to the difficulties experienced by the BUMDes managers who have not been optimal in maximizing the potential of the village of Bancangan, Sambit, Ponorogo. Armed with human resource assets in the form of BUMDes management who have qualified capabilities to carry out this activity in the long term. As well as the problem regarding household waste that has not been resolved, then the cultivation of BSF maggot as an animal feed saver is feasible. After the cultivation of maggot BSF, the BUMDes management can move to take advantage of the potential of nature and human potential to be developed.

Analysis of The Effect of Organizational Justice, Worklife Balance on Employee Engagement and Turnover Intention

The problem that managers or leaders face in an organization or company to compete in ensuring the organization's survival is the existence of employees as human resource assets. Turnover intentions arise in employees when there is perceived injustice and work-life balance in the company because needs are not met. This study uses a quantitative approach, with the type and source of data in this study being primary data in the form of a questionnaire given to the entire sample of 70 employees of PT. BSB–Kalla Group. Data analysis used a quantitative method with SEM using the SmartPLS. The study results found that employee engagement cannot be a mediating variable on organizational justice and work-life balance on turnover intention. The direct effect shows positive and significant results from the two independent variables on the dependent variable. Indirectly mediated by employee engagement, the two independent variables negatively affect the dependent variable on the turnover intention. Based on the results of the research and discussion described previously, it can be concluded in this study that turnover intention is determined by the application of organizational justice to the company and creates a work-life balance for each employee through employee engagement as a mediating variable.

Analisis keterikatan kerja ditinjau dari efikasi diri dengan dukungan organisasi sebagai variabel mediator pada pegawai perguruan tinggi di Surabaya

Higher Education Employees, especially Educational Personnel, are one of the most valuable human resource assets and have a vital role as a driving force for activities in Higher Education. One of the things that will improve their performance is seeing their engagement work. For this reason, this study was prepared with the aim of analyzing the relationship between employee self-efficacy and work involvement through organizational support as a mediator variable at one university in Surabaya. The sample used in this study were 212 employees at one university in Surabaya. The data analysis method used path analysis through Jeffrey's Amazing Statistics Program (JASP) software version 0.14.1.0. Through the research conducted, it is known that there is a significant positive relationship between self-efficacy and work involvement. The results of the data analysis of the correlation between self-efficacy and work involvement through organizational support as a mediator variable, obtained an estimated value = 0.012, coefficient z = 3.711 (z> 1.96) at p = 0.001 (p < 0.05). This shows that there is a relationship between self-efficacy and work involvement through organizational support as a significant mediator variable. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between self-efficacy and work involvement through organizational support as a mediator variable for employees of one of the universities in Surabaya.

Distinguishing Features of AAA-Healthcare Partnerships: Business Acumen Is Necessary but Not Sufficient

Stronger relationships among service providers in the health care and social service sectors may contribute to positive outcomes such as lower health care use and spending. Such partnerships have grown in recent years, including Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) contracting with health care organizations, and their impact on health care utilization has been demonstrated. Nevertheless, knowledge about how AAAs establish and manage successful collaborations is limited. This study was designed to understand how AAAs in regions with low levels of avoidable health care utilization develop and sustain partnerships with health care organizations. We conducted an explanatory sequential mixed-methods, positive deviance study. In the quantitative phase, we identified 8 AAAs with multiple health care partners serving areas with little utilization of nursing homes by residents with low-care needs, and 3 with few partners and high utilization for comparison. In the qualitative phase, we identified key informants within AAAs and their partners for in-depth interviews (total n = 123). We used the constant comparative method of analysis to identify 5 factors that characterized partnerships in the highly-partnered, low-utilization sites: 1) Regional context (e.g., breadth of health care provider market, cross-sectoral coalitions), 2) AAA human resource assets (e.g., community expertise, business acumen), 3) AAA organizational culture (e.g., visionary leadership, risk taking), 4) Interdependence among organizations (e.g., mutual benefit, alignment), and 5) Interpersonal dynamics (e.g., trust, relationships). The importance of these regional, organizational, and relational factors suggests that AAA business acumen is necessary but not sufficient to build and sustain robust cross-sectoral partnerships.

Livelihood Assets of Small-Scale Fisherman in Tanah Merah District, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau Province, Indonesia

People in Tanah Merah Village, Tanah Merah Subdistrict, Indragiri Hilir Regency generally have a livelihood as fishermen. Fishermen can be said to be prosperous if they have good control over their livelihood assets. Livelihood assets consist of human, natural, social, financial and physical resource assets. This study aims to: (1) find out the meaning of the sustainable livelihood approach, (2) find out the livelihood assets of small-scale fishermen and (3) determine the condition of the livelihood assets of small-scale fishermen. The research was conducted in Tanah Merah District, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau Province. Respondents from this study were 45 people. The method used in this research was survey method. The data analysis used was descriptive analysis. Descriptive analysis was used to generate an overview of the data that has been collected based on the respondents’ answers through the distribution of items from each variable. The presentation of the data was done by cross tabulating according to the parameters of several aspects of the assets that support fishermen’s livelihoods. The result showed that the livelihood assets of small-scale fishermen namely natural assets, human resources, social, financial and physical are in the medium category. The acquisition of this value can indicate that the control of the livelihood assets of small-scale fishermen in Tanah Merah Village is not sustainable.

The impact of living conditions and organizational practices as brain drain cause factors on the human resource assets of the health sector in the Gaza strip – Palestine

This study aims at identifying the impact of some of the cause factors of brain drain, particularly, living conditions and organizational practices, on the human resource assets of the health sector in the Gaza Strip, clarifying the role of those factors in increasing the brain drain phenomenon and what influence it has over the human resource assets. The descriptive analytical approach was adopted. In addition, a questionnaire was designed to collect data from physicians from the health sector using random sample. The conclusions indicated that both living conditions and organizational practices were rated by the respondents as having negative influence as brain drain cause factors. In addition, it negatively influenced the human resource asset. Moreover, there is a significant positive relationship between brain drain cause factors (living conditions and organizational practices) and human resource assets. This means improvements in the factors causing brain drain will lead to the same in the status of human resource assets. Accordingly, it is recommended to emphasize fairness, equity, equality, and anti-discrimination policies. Furthermore, continuously review and develop advanced organizational systems, such as career advancement, promotions, salary scales, incentives and rewards, in addition to appreciation and acknowledgment of competent employees. Moreover, there is a focus on investing in human resource assets through applying professional human resource practices related to human resource planning, and training and development.
