Aim: This study is planned to conduct, in a city, to be determined cervical cancer screening rate which is done in between 2015-2017 years and to evaluate those screening results. Method: In 2015-2017, HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) test and cervical smear results of women aged between 30-65 years who applied to Family Health Centers (FHC) and Cancer Early Diagnosis and Screening Center (CEDSC) were evaluated. The data were obtained retrospectively by the researchers from the National HPV Laboratory software. Ethics committee and the related public Corporation permits were taken. While evaluating results descriptive statistical methods were used. Results: 38.3% in 2015, 34.3% in 2016 and 24% in 2017 of the target population in our province was scanned. As a result of scannings, women who have HPV DNA results were positive rates are the same (%2,5) in 2015 and 2016, however there is an increasing have been detected in 2017(%3,5). According to the smear test results of women with positive HPV DNA results, type 16 is higher than type 18 over these three years. There is no change on the rate on type 18(%0,1) for three years. Conclusion: In cervical cancer screening, the rate of reaching the target population in our province is decreasing as the process progresses. It is thought that not only the efforts of the Community Health Centers and CEDSCs are sufficient to reach the proposed target for screening, but also the necessary arrangements should be made for Family Physicians to give importance to these scans in the target populations registered to them.
