The influence of lime and clay on the combustion efficiency of honeycomb briquettes was studied. The experimental results showed that the combustion efficiency of the briquettes varied with the types and content of inorganic additives. When the content of inorganic additives was lower than 14%, the combustion efficiency of the briquettes was higher (> 98.8%), and the influence of clay on the combustion efficiency of the briquettes was slightly less than that of lime. When the content of inorganic additives was more than 14%, the combustion efficiency of the briquettes with clay was reduced rapidly as the clay content grew and was much less than that with lime.
