Research on MOOC+SPOC Hybrid Teaching Mode for Engineering Optics

The current era is an era of informatization, which has become an important lever for national strategic development. The development of information technology has an increasingly significant impact on education. The vigorous rise of the Internet provides a strong guarantee for the implementation of online and offline hybrid teaching. "Internet plus education" is becoming the mainstream development trend. This article starts with the characteristics of MOOC and SPOC courses, and studies the hybrid teaching mode of engineering optics based on MOOC and SPOC, in order to provide reference and reference for the hybrid teaching of professional basic courses in higher vocational education institutions.

Role of innovative work behavior of vocational lecturer in Indonesia

One aspect that needs to be developed in work is competence. In this case, competence is knowledge, skills, and attitudes sufficient to meet needs, such as good job performance. One of the employee behaviors that has not been developed and improved is the behavior of innovation at work. This study aims to analyze the role of Vocational Lecturers’ innovative behavior. This study was conducted based on data about 1,494 lecturers from vocational higher education institutions in East Java, Indonesia (seven state polytechnics and two state community academies). Using the proportional random sampling method, the Slovin formula of 316 people was used. The questionnaire was conducted as through Google Forms, as a person by seeing research respondents, and by holding virtual meetings from March to April 2022. The collected data were processed using descriptive statistical analysis methods to determine the characteristics of the respondents and inferential statistics using the SmartPLS version 3.0 program. The results of this study indicate that organizational support and transglobal leadership characteristics significantly affect employee engagement, proactive personality, proactive work behavior, and performance. Transglobal leadership influences proactive personality and job engagement in positive and significant ways. Organizational support significantly and beneficially influences work engagement and proactive attitudes. Work engagement positively and meaningfully encourages innovative work behavior, with a path coefficient 0.22. The path coefficients of the relationship between inventive work style, proactive attitude, and employee performance are 0.55 and 0.617, respectively. In addition, job involvement has a statistically significant adverse effect on worker performance.

A Study on the Causes and Intervention of Job Burnout of Young Teachers in Chinese Vocational Colleges

During the course of the study, the researcher identifies the numerous elements that contribute to job burnout among young teachers in higher vocational institutions in Guangxi and proposes intervention strategies for focused improvement. The author utilizes policy tools to examine the consequences of my nation's education policies and make references to constructive recommendations on human capital management in high vocational colleges. As research objects, ten institutions of higher vocational education are selected. Then, distribute the questionnaires according to the ratio of young teachers in each school to the total number of young instructors in these 10 vocational schools. 350 educators were chosen at random for this study. Statistically, the Total Effect of Transactional Psychological Capital (Personal Factors) on Professional Values (.594) is bigger than the Effect of Cognitive Social Capital (.593). (School Factor). In addition, Perceptual behavior control has an effect (0.394) on Professional values. Statistically, the Total Effect of Perceptual Behavior Control on Burnout (0.614) is larger than Interpersonal Psychological Capital (Personal factors). It should also be explored how demographic and environmental factors influence Transactional psychological capital, Cognitive social capital, Perceptual behavior control, Interpersonal psychological capital, Professional values, and Burnout.

Information culture as a component of the formation of state policy in the field of vocational pre-higher education

The current stage of development of social relations is characterized by rapid activation of digital (information) technologies. The intensive progress of science and technological progress have become the main features of modern society. The use of digital technologies gave impetus to the processes of transformation in society - the informational transformation of social relations, which is expressed in the application of modern digital technologies in various spheres of human activity. Education acquires new features and a new meaning in the information society.
 It was noted that the prospects of future use by specialists of the possibilities of informatization, the possibility of online communication, the use of automated search and reference legal systems and electronic databases of legal information call for the need to study information culture as a component of state policy in the field of vocational pre-university education.
 The article is devoted to highlighting those changes that form new relations in society, and shows the importance of the formation of information culture and its influence on the implementation of state policy in the field of vocational pre-higher education.
 It is emphasized that the successful performance of tasks in any field of production also depends on the information culture of specialists, which consists in the knowledge and ability to use the entire set of legal means of working with information during the performance of official duties within the limits of competence established by law and other legal acts . It was established that today a manager, a high-level specialist, is obliged to work with a computer, use the capabilities of information systems and work with large amounts of information.
 It is suggested that, in the implementation of state policy in the field of vocational pre-higher education, serious attention should be paid to the formation of information culture. In addition, during the training of specialists in vocational higher education institutions, one of the mandatory disciplines should be "Information culture".

The Status and Challenges of Entrepreneurship Education in Vocational Higher Education Institutions in Indonesia

<p>Vocational higher education is one of the types of Indonesian higher education. In practice, entrepreneurship has been considered the most important subject that should be taught in vocational higher institutions. Numerous studies have been conducted by discussing the topic of vocational education and entrepreneurship in Indonesia. However, limited studies have been conducted on implementing entrepreneurship education at the Indonesian vocational higher education level. This study aims to explain the status and challenges of entrepreneurship education in Indonesian vocational higher education institutions. The method used in the study was based on a descriptive qualitative method focusing on a contextual review of the literature. The review is enhanced by collecting data from articles, books, reports, and vocational higher education intuitions' websites. This study found that entrepreneurship education has been implemented in vocational higher education institutions, although some aspects still need improvements. Further, the development of entrepreneurship education in vocational higher education institutions in Indonesia is confronted by internal and external challenges. Lastly, the study's findings have significant implications for researchers, policymakers, and entrepreneurship educators.</p><p><strong><em>Keywords:</em></strong><em> challenges; entrepreneurship education; institutions; status; vocational higher education</em></p>

A lesson learned from the integration of BIM in construction engineering education in an Indonesian Polytechnic

The Indonesian construction industry has increasingly adopted Building Information Modeling (BIM). One of the barriers to adopting BIM is BIM skills among graduates are still rare. Therefore, higher education institutions have to adopt BIM into their curriculum. However, as BIM is a new concept in construction engineering, many higher education institutions have a problem integrating BIM. Therefore, the paper proffers a syllabus to integrate BIM in a vocational higher education institution. The research methodology follows the Tyler model of curriculum development. It started with a review of prominent BIM integration into higher education research. Then, discussion with BIM practitioners from the industry to acquire information on current BIM-related job specifications in Indonesia. The team teacher then discussed and analyzed the results to create an initial syllabus. Further, the students' performance and feedback are observed during two years of course offering from 2019 to 2021. Improvement of the syllabus is based on observation and feedback results. The progress has increased students' performance in the BIM course. The students' performance is excellent even though the course was offered online due to a pandemic.

A Study on the Conceptual Understanding of Wicked Problems and the Duplication of Higher Vocational Education - Focusing on Applicability to University College and Polytech -

This study aims to provide a conceptual understanding of the wicked problems and to propose a solution to the wicked problems by applying the concept of the wicked problems to the problem of duplication between Vocational University Colleges and polytechs, which are representative institutions of higher vocational education The wicked problems refers to social problems that cannot be solved by mechanical rationality. The wicked problems is no exception to higher vocational education. The problem of higher vocational education is a typical wicked problem involving institutional complexity, scientific uncertainty and various stakeholders with different preferences. In these background, this study was conducted to seek a solution through systematic review and evaluation of the problems of University Colleges and polytech. First, in order to confirm whether the problem of University Colleges and polytech belongs to the wicked problem, the factors that cause the wicked problem, the characteristics and attributes of the wicked problem, and the limitations of wicked problem study were identified, and applied to and analyzed the wicked problem. Next, I tried to present a solution to a desirable wicked problem in the future. For this purpose, solution to overcome the wicked problems was sought based on an understanding of the reality of higher vocational education.

Application of Computer Digital Technology and Group Psychological Counseling in Higher Vocational Education Mental Health Education Curriculum under Complex Network Environment

Today’s civilization is a network, with networks covering and organizing it. The important physical carrier of modern human social activities and interactions is a hybrid network formed by the interaction and integration of multiple networks, which is a dynamic and complex network. In the network environment, the mode and efficiency of information dissemination have changed qualitatively, which in turn profoundly affects the evolution of higher vocational education students’ attitudes toward things and their psychological states. At present, there are many problems and difficulties in mental health education in higher vocational education institutions: there are misunderstandings in setting curriculum teaching objectives, teaching methods are not flexible enough, the professionalism and stability of teachers need to be improved, and the follow-up of mental health education for students in schools is insufficient. For this reason, we should take active measures to improve the effectiveness of mental health education in higher vocational education institutions according to the characteristics of the times, establish reasonable mental health education curriculum objectives and evaluation methods, establish diversified teaching methods to adapt to the complex network environment, build a professional mental health education teacher team, actively improve the teaching concept of mental health education, and focus on strengthening mental health education counseling in the process of entrance education and career guidance. This paper proposes a method based on computer digital technology and group counseling in a complex network environment, which can be applied to higher vocational education mental health education courses, and the experimental results show that the designed method has a high accuracy rate and provides support for higher vocational education students’ psychological education and counseling.

On the Teaching Mode of Artificial Intelligence General Course for Non-Computer Majors in the Vocational Higher Education Institution

Artificial intelligence general course is a general course set up by most higher vocational colleges at present. This subject focuses on the teaching of integrating theory with practice. The main teaching goal of this course is to focus on cultivating students' computer logical thinking ability and improving the application ability of artificial intelligence in their respective majors. However, it is more difficult for non-computer majors. To further consolidate the educational effect of artificial intelligence courses in general higher vocational colleges, it is necessary to design the courses as a whole and integrate each link in the teaching process reasonably. This paper focuses on the teaching reform of artificial intelligence general courses and puts forward the current situation and main problems of artificial intelligence general teaching in higher vocational colleges for non-computer majors. It also explored the main ideas of artificial intelligence course content construction, and expounded on the modular construction content of the new generation of artificial intelligence teaching course systems, hoping to give some help to relevant personnel.

ІДЕНТИФІКАЦІЯ ЗАГРОЗ ЕКОНОМІЧНІЙ БЕЗПЕЦІ ЗАКЛАДІВ ФАХОВОЇ ПЕРЕДВИЩОЇ ОСВІТИ

One of the most important conditions for the successful operation of a professional higher education institution in modern market conditions based on competitiveness is the provision of a quantitative indicator of its contingent, as it is one of the main factors influencing its economic security. In our opinion, participation in the rankings of educational institutions can be an effective tool for leadership in addressing this issue. The aim of the article is to identify threats to the economic security of higher education institutions by conducting a survey of key stakeholders. The research methodology involves the use of general scientific and specific research methods, such as: analysis and synthesis, questionnaire method, methods of systematization and generalization, as well as other methods that allow to achieve this goal. It is established that the emergence of the ranking of vocational higher education institutions can be another step towards Ukraine's global integration, as all leading countries are successfully implementing such a mechanism to form a quality education system. The ranking of vocational higher education institutions is supported by the majority of all respondents and can be an important tool to help the management of this unit to avoid possible threats associated with the formation of the contingent of educational institutions, and thus affect its economic security. Some of the ranking criteria may not be accepted by the educational community, as the subjective approach and the desire to adjust them to the interests of a particular educational institution will work. The unwillingness of some vocational higher education institutions to participate in the ranking can be threatening to implement such a mechanism; This can be explained by the awareness of the impact of rating results on their state / regional funding.

Trends in the professional training of railway electrical engineers of railway transport

The article deals with the main trends in the professional training of railway electrical engineers, which determine the relations between railway universities and production. The trend of integration due to the unification of the content of education and the determinism of academic disciplines ensures the professional mobility of a specialist both within the profession and in related areas of production. Teaching at a sufficiently high level of difficulty, stimulating the active cognitive and creative activity of students, requires an intensification trend due to the compaction and increasing volumes of information flows, the rapid development of the technical and technological foundations of production. The trend of cooperation determines the main directions and forms of interaction of vocational training with production and other institutions of higher vocational education. The gradual development of the main functions of professional activity (production and technological, operational and managerial, administrative and regulatory), in the process of personnel development of railway electrification engineers, contributing to the progressive development of specialist competencies, increases the adaptation period to the conditions of professional activity, characterized by the complex impact of professional risks. The study of the experience of professional training of railway transport specialists revealed the need for the formation of professional and personal characteristics of railway electrical engineers, which ensure the reduction of the impact of professional risks set by the factors of danger, uncertainty and alternativeness.

Complaints Information System for the Polytechnic of South Aceh

The industrial revolution 4.0 is a hot topic discussed only among academics and industry. Of course, this condition is a positive thing that shows that people have started to care about utilizing technology that is developing very rapidly today. South Aceh Polytechnic (POLTAS) as a vocational higher education institution, of course, must be consistent in making innovations in improving services to stakeholders. The quality and quality of service to stakeholders must of course be maintained so that input, criticism, and suggestions from them are one of the most important factors in creating a safe and comfortable academic atmosphere for higher education, especially POLTAS. The formulation of the problem in this study is how to build and simulate the results of an information system that can adapt dynamically in carrying out the political services of South Aceh provided to stakeholders. The purpose of this research is to build a Complaints Information System for the Polytechnic of South Aceh (SIAPA). This research is also part of the POLTAS Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) which is managed independently assigns to control and improve quality in the implementation of higher education in a planned manner (with designed) and sustainable (sustainable). This type of research is applied research with case studies at the South Aceh Polytechnic. The research procedure is in several stages, namely planning, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, simulation of results, and evaluation.

Business process modeling with cloud computing support

Precise and clear Business Process Modeling (BPM) can be used to implement the all of processes according to the user’s needs. On the other hand, cloud computing has become a solution for data storage and more effective and efficient computing processes. State Polytechnic of Malang (Polinema) is one of the vocational higher education Institutions in Indonesia that requires business process modeling to facilitate an integrated understanding of process flow. This study aims to describe the business processes of the financial realization system and the structure of cloud computing that can be used. This research used Bizagi for designing Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) in modeling business processes of financial system realization. This paper describes the business model of the financial realization system at Polinema. This study proposes the use of an Infrastructure as a Service IaaS-based cloud computing service model using a hybrid cloud approach to support the work of the system.

ОЦІНЮВАННЯ ЯКОСТІ ПІДГОТОВКИ ФАХІВЦІВ У КОЛЕДЖАХ: ТЕОРІЯ, ПРАКТИКА, ПЕРСПЕКТИВИ

Актуальність. Відповідність якості освіти потребам людини, суспільства, держави визначило необхідність модернізації української освіти та забезпечення балансу між запитами ринку праці і розвитком системи фахової передвищої освіти. Вирішення проблем з удосконалення освітніх технологій та впровадження інноваційних методів навчання є актуальним завданням розроблення педагогічних засобів формування загальних і професійних компетентностей, критеріїв і методик оцінювання досягнення студентами запланованих результатів навчання. Мета – аналіз теорії, практики та перспектив оцінювання якості підготовки фахівців у коледжах. Методи. Для досягнення визначеної мети застосовано сукупність теоретичних (опис, аналіз, синтез, порівняння, узагальнення) та емпіричних (спостереження, опитування, анкетування) методів дослідження. Результати. Суть дослідження полягає в тому, що підвищення якості підготовки фахівців у закладах фахової передвищої освіти з урахуванням особливостей реформування вітчизняної системи освіти та потреб національного ринку праці неможливе без сучасного методичного забезпечення оцінювання їхньої підготовки. Проведення опитування педагогічних працівників з неоднаковим педагогічним стажем та науковими званнями із різних областей України дало змогу з’ясувати сучасні особливості оцінювання якості підготовки фахівців у технікумах і коледжах. З метою дослідження готовності викладачів до оцінювання якості підготовки фахівців у технікумах і коледжах розроблено й розіслано анкети до всіх навчальних закладів, з якими підписано договір про співробітництво. За результатами анкетування авторами запропоновано модернізацію комплексу головних принципів оцінювання якості навчання та шляхи досягнення об’єктивного педагогічного контролю. Висновки. Застосування основних принципів оцінювання якості професійної освіти із використанням експериментальних досліджень дало змогу довести необхідність урахування педагогічних умов для належного оцінювання якості підготовки фахівців у коледжах. Результати дослідження оцінювання якості підготовки фахівців у технікумах і коледжах зумовили необхідність розробки комплексу заходів щодо модернізації оцінювання якості підготовки. У ході дослідження готовності викладачів до оцінювання якості підготовки фахівців доведено необхідність запровадження методичної системи оцінювання якості підготовки фахівців у закладах фахової передвищої освіти та розроблення її структурної моделі.

Reflecting On Teaching and Ecovid-19: An Aggressive Digital Teaching Transformation Outbreak in Higher Hospitality Education in Cyprus

The purpose of this research inquiry was to reflect on: (a) how the dynamics or synergies formed by the enforced and hostile transition from traditional to online teaching and learning have affected the quality of the teaching and learning process in higher vocational education institutions in Cyprus; and (b) what the impact on teaching and learning in the post COVID-19 period has been. The DigCompEdu digital literacy framework has been used to stimulate research because of its strict and clear focus on educator-specific digital competencies. A descriptive qualitative case-study research design was used to explore the experiences of teaching staff and how they dealt with the enforced transition to online teaching. In total, 32 participants from 11 CHEIs teaching hospitality-related majors were interviewed, electronically. The data saturation point was determined by the sample size of the study. The transcription and coding of the collected data was performed using NVivo 10. The first research question identified the following emerging themes: a) the externalization of tacit aspects of digital realities knowledge, b) Collective and intelligent actions in sharing knowledge and practicing digital competencies, c) Principles of learning organization and practicing, and d) Empathy and high levels of emotional labor. The second research question revealed the following themes: a) the Changing nature of teaching and learning methodologies and approaches in hospitality studies, b) Student centered and interactive pedagogical approaches, c) Digital-based knowledge management ecosystem approach.

Improving Students' Humanistic Quality in the Teaching of Chinese Language and Literature in Vocational Higher Education Institution

Our country has a long history and culture. Teachers should actively promote the excellent Chinese traditional culture, do a good job of teaching and guidance, and effectively improve students' learning enthusiasm in the teaching of Chinese language and literature. However, the current Chinese literature taught in vocational higher education institution still has problems such as unclear educational goals, low curriculum status, and low level of informatization. Therefore, this paper fully studies and utilizes the advantages of vocational education on the premise of fully understanding the development goals of Chinese education in vocational higher education institution, enriching the content of Chinese language and literature education, strengthening Chinese language and literature education, and cultivating information ability. It is to help students better understand our country’s fine traditional culture, guide students to establish correct learning concepts, and improve overall quality.

Использование методов организации учебного процесса в системе среднего и высшего профессионального образования в Поволжье в первой половине ХХ века

Researched is continuity of secondary and higher vocational education’s system, gives is characteristic of the main teaching and learning activities’ methods in secondary and higher vocational educational institutions in the first half of the 20th century in Volga region. The choice of territorial framework is due to the fact, that Volga region is central one of Russia, the particularities of the system of secondary and higher vocational education’s development are typical for other regions of Russia. In the first half of the 20th century future specialists training’s methodological and methodological base and law-making execution of activities of secondary and higher vocational education institutions’ legal framework took place in Volga region, and that has determined the choice of chronological framework in this article. The authors address teaching and learning activities, used by teachers for learning process’s organization in Volga region’s educational institutions, pick out their advantages and disadvantages. The main methods are: “Dalton plan” with various forms of specially concerted activity, brigade-laboratory method, based on students’ work in team and tasks’ conduct independent operations, and comlpex method, formed up knowledge elicitation (for example, areas of interest and inclinations). Explanatory-illustrative methods of learning, procreational problem, partly search (heuristic), partly research (experimental) methods were used for preparing future specialists at universities.

In modern economic conditions, trade union organizations are necessary to protect the rights and interests of workers, improve the quality of life, and ensure social guarantees. The trade union unites: employees of the enterprise, students of secondary and higher vocational education institutions, temporarily unemployed able-bodied citizens, pensioners. Trade union organizations carry out a great deal of work to protect the social and labor rights and interests of workers, to increase the level of motivation of trade union membership. All this makes it possible to attract youth to the ranks of the trade union organization. In modern society, an important function of trade unions is to develop social partnership at the regional level, conduct inspections and identify violations of labor laws in relation to employees.

MESLEK YÜKSEKOKULLARINDA, SEKTÖR BEKLENTİLERİ VE MESLEKİ YETERLİLİKLER ÇERÇEVESİNDE ESNEK ÖĞRENME ORTAMLARININ KURGULANMASI

In order to be able to survive and develop in the competitive environment of the global arena, the qualified labor force trained in national and international vocational qualifications is of great importance. Today, there are eight reference levels of education at Vocational Schools, European Qualifications Framework and National Qualifications Framework. Graduates in class. A large majority of our students graduated from this level either work in their own profession in the sector or in a different business sector, while others are continuing their undergraduate studies at the 6th level under vertical transfer. The sector has to keep its technical and hardware capacities up to date in a competitive approach. This is a rule of global business world. Qualified workforce expectations in the sector are increasing day by day. Students who are studying at Vocational Training Centers within the scope of lifelong learning and who have graduated from diploma, vocational high school and vocational high school and graduated from the Vocational Higher Education Institutions (Voc-Test) which are accredited by the Vocational Qualifications Authority And a test that clearly demonstrates their competence. In the case of the sector, it is a legal obligation to employ graduates who are certified by these examination centers. Lifelong learning graduates and 4th and 5th level graduates are required to make their learning environments flexible in line with sector expectations so that they can demonstrate success in the Examination and Documentation Centers. The success rate of graduate students in these exams will also show the quality performance of Vocational Schools. In this study, the situation of Vocational High School graduates meeting the sector needs, graduation-employment rates, post graduate student analysis, occupational standards of sector needs and the construction of flexible learning environments within the framework of Vocational Qualifications were searched and charted and the results were examined.
