Preface

The International Conference on Computing and Data Science (CONF-CDS) is a leading conference on computing technology, machine learning, computer science, and data science. Participants worldwide are welcome to share their findings and inspirations in relevant fields through research papers, speeches, and presentations. CONF-CDS hopes to build an international platform for researchers, scholars, and academicians to carry out academic exchange and thus promote cooperation.This volume contains the papers of the 4th International Conference on Computing and Data Science (CONF-CDS 2022). Submissions were reviewed by the editorial team and professional reviewers. Each paper has been examined and evaluated for its theme, content, structure, language, and other necessary elements of an academic paper. These papers all lie in the field of computing and data science, focusing on various algorithms, machine learning, and neural networks for example.CONF-CDS 2022 was successfully held online during July 16-25, 2022. Authors of high-quality papers were invited to deliver presentations of their works. Prof. Chengzhong Xu from the University of Macau, Prof. Tanzila Saba from Prince Sultan University, Prof. Li Xiong from Emory University, and Prof. Lewis Tseng from Boston College, Massachusetts were invited as keynote speakers and have given brilliant speeches on their latest research and frontier technologies.We would like to give sincere thanks to all authors who have submitted their papers to CONF-CDS 2022, editors and reviewers who guaranteed the quality of papers with their expertise, and the committee members who have devoted themselves to the success of this conference.Hope you may find it enjoyable and draw inspiration from this volume.List of Committee Members are available in the pdf.

Ischemic pressure vs. post-isometric relaxation for treatment of rhomboid latent myofascial trigger point: a systemic review.

This systematic review was carried out to review ischemic pressure and post-isometric relaxation for treatment of rhomboid latent myofascial trigger point. This systematic review was organized using PRISMA and Cochrane standards. This meta-analysis compares ischemic pressure to post-isometric relaxation for rhomboid latent myofascial trigger point. Search terms included: myofascial pain, trigger point, ischemia pressure, post-isometric relaxation, and electric stimulation. We first searched MEDLINE (including ePub, Ahead of Print, InProgress, and Other Non-Indexed Citations) and then EMBASE and the Cochrane CENTRAL Register of Controlled Trials. Searches were conducted from the databases' inception through August 2022. The RCT review followed PRISMA criteria. PubMed, Embase, PSYCHInfo, and the Cochrane Library were searched from their origin without language constraints to locate all RCTs linked to ischemic pressure vs. post-isometric relaxation for therapy of rhomboid latent myofascial trigger point. 463 duplicates were removed. 140 of 174 citations were removed. Seven high-quality full-text papers out of 34 were included. Conservative and noninvasive treatments can only raise pain tolerance. Compared to standard treatment, ischemia pressure and post-isometric relaxation reduced shoulder and neck pain and PPT discomfort. This study suggests that ischemia compression may be more effective than post-isometric relaxation for treating rhomboid latent myofascial trigger points (MTP). Future progress in the field will depend on multi-subject RCTs.

Artificial Intelligence Can Generate Fraudulent but Authentic-Looking Scientific Medical Articles: Pandora's Box Has Been Opened.

Artificial intelligence (AI) has advanced substantially in recent years, transforming many industries and improving the way people live and work. In scientific research, AI can enhance the quality and efficiency of data analysis and publication. However, AI has also opened up the possibility of generating high-quality fraudulent papers that are difficult to detect, raising important questions about the integrity of scientific research and the trustworthiness of published papers. The aim of this study was to investigate the capabilities of current AI language models in generating high-quality fraudulent medical articles. We hypothesized that modern AI models can create highly convincing fraudulent papers that can easily deceive readers and even experienced researchers. This proof-of-concept study used ChatGPT (Chat Generative Pre-trained Transformer) powered by the GPT-3 (Generative Pre-trained Transformer 3) language model to generate a fraudulent scientific article related to neurosurgery. GPT-3 is a large language model developed by OpenAI that uses deep learning algorithms to generate human-like text in response to prompts given by users. The model was trained on a massive corpus of text from the internet and is capable of generating high-quality text in a variety of languages and on various topics. The authors posed questions and prompts to the model and refined them iteratively as the model generated the responses. The goal was to create a completely fabricated article including the abstract, introduction, material and methods, discussion, references, charts, etc. Once the article was generated, it was reviewed for accuracy and coherence by experts in the fields of neurosurgery, psychiatry, and statistics and compared to existing similar articles. The study found that the AI language model can create a highly convincing fraudulent article that resembled a genuine scientific paper in terms of word usage, sentence structure, and overall composition. The AI-generated article included standard sections such as introduction, material and methods, results, and discussion, as well a data sheet. It consisted of 1992 words and 17 citations, and the whole process of article creation took approximately 1 hour without any special training of the human user. However, there were some concerns and specific mistakes identified in the generated article, specifically in the references. The study demonstrates the potential of current AI language models to generate completely fabricated scientific articles. Although the papers look sophisticated and seemingly flawless, expert readers may identify semantic inaccuracies and errors upon closer inspection. We highlight the need for increased vigilance and better detection methods to combat the potential misuse of AI in scientific research. At the same time, it is important to recognize the potential benefits of using AI language models in genuine scientific writing and research, such as manuscript preparation and language editing.

Resilience through the lens of entrepreneurship: a bibliometric analysis and network mapping of the emerging research field

Purpose Resilience has evolved as a dynamic process in the entrepreneurship field. The purpose of this paper is to outline a comprehensive structure to analyse the patterns and trends in the publications of the existing literature at the junction of entrepreneurship and resilience. With the help of bibliometric and network analysis, this study offers insights into the topic that have not been evaluated and assessed by previous reviews. Design/methodology/approach A computerised search of 104 papers was performed using the Scopus database, and graphical visualisation of the bibliographic material was developed using VOSviewer software. Findings This comprehensive bibliometric mapping helps in the graphical visualisation of publication evolution of the domain along with identifying present research trends and possible future directions. There is not much collaborative research in the field, as most prolific thinkers work in isolation or in pairs. Hence, there are limited publications in top-rated journals. Future researchers need to work collaboratively to produce high-quality papers. Developed nations make a sound contribution to the field. The exact significance of resilience in entrepreneurship is yet to be determined due to a wide variety of themes that reflect the multi-disciplinary nature of the domain. Originality/value Uncovering the trends and developments of the field, this study provides a global perspective and potential themes lying at the junction of resilience and entrepreneurship. Hence, this study provides a robust roadmap for future researchers interested in this area.

The conference had received nearly 200 manuscripts; the quality of the papers received at this time was significantly higher than the last and accepted 48 papers after two rounds of double-blind reviews. Symptoms, Mechanisms, and Treatments of Video Game Addiction.

Video game addiction is defined as the steady and repetitive use of the Internet to play games frequently with different gamers, potentially leading to negative consequences in many aspects of life. As recent technological development has given easy access to gaming on many devices, video game addiction has become a serious public health issue with increased prevalence. Many studies have shown that video game addiction leads to changes in the brain that are similar to those that occur in substance addiction and gambling. Evidence has also shown that there is an association between video game addiction and depression, as well as other psychological and social problems. In light of these issues, our review article aims to increase awareness of video game addiction in society. The main objectives of this review are as follows: to describe the mechanism of addiction, to consider whether video game addiction is a real addiction, and to highlight the signs and symptoms of addiction. In addition, we identify the consequences of video game addiction and possible treatments for addicts. The information was extracted from high-quality research papers and reliable websites like PubMed and ScienceDirect.

The research on the treatment of primary immunodeficiency diseases by hematopoietic stem cell transplantation: A bibliometric analysis from 2013 to 2022.

Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) is curative in patients with primary immunodeficiency syndrome. The safety and efficacy of HSCT as a therapeutic option for primary immunodeficiency diseases (PID) have been studied by many research groups. The purpose of our study was to perform a bibliometric analysis of research on HSCT for the treatment of PID, to assess research trends in this field, and note future research priorities. The Web of Science Core Collection (WOSCC) was used to identify relevant publications. VOSviewer and CiteSpace software were used to analyze bibliometric parameters, such as yearly records, authors, grouped authors, countries, institutions, categories and keywords. There are 602 relevant records for the last decade (2013-2022). The top 5 productive authors and high-quality paper journals are listed. Reference co-citations analysis demonstrated recent research trends were "inborn errors of immunity," "gene editing," and "enteropathy." Research on HSCT for the treatment of PID has increased rapidly in the last decade, and bibliometrics are valuable for researchers to obtain an overview of hot categories, academic collaborations and trends in this study field.

Special issue for the 36th Italian Conference on Computational Logic (CILC 2021)

This volume contains a selection of the papers presented at the |$36^{\textrm {th}}$|Italian Conference on Computational Logic (CILC 2021), held on September |$7^{\textrm {th}}$|–|$9^{\textrm {th}}$|⁠, |$2021$| in Parma, Italy. The Italian Conference on Computational Logic is the annual conference organized by the Group of researchers and Users of Logic Programming (GULP, www.programmazionelogica.it). Since the first event of the series, which took place in Genoa in |$1986$|⁠, the annual GULP conference represents a major opportunity for researchers and practitioners interested in computational logic to meet and exchange ideas. Furthermore, over the years, the conference broadened its horizons from logic programming to include related topics, such as declarative programming, formal verification of systems, knowledge representation, deductive databases and a wide range of applications in the broader area of Artificial Intelligence. The annual GULP conference is a traditional event of the Italian community of researchers and practitioners interested in logic programming, but its scope has become more and more international over the years. Despite the very peculiar situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the community significantly responded to the call, thus allowing the technical program of CILC |$2021$| to feature |$23$| presentations of high-quality papers, of which |$19$| were original papers. This volume of the Journal of Logic and Computation contains extended and revised versions of a selection of the papers presented at CILC |$2021$|⁠. As a result of an additional review process, during which each submission was reviewed by three referees, |$8$| papers were accepted to be included in this volume. Accepted contributions range from foundations and theoretical results to practical experiences, case studies and applications. They cover a wide range of relevant topics related to computational logic in the broad sense, including agents and multi-agent systems, logic programming, runtime verification and healthcare. In the following, the featured papers are briefly summarized.
