With the growth of the urban population, parallel to the increase in the urbanization of urban centers, challenges arise for which intelligent and sustainable solutions need to be found. It is by using technology as an ally in caring for the environment that conscious urban development will be achieved. Unfortunately, the model imposed on cities does not prioritize issues essential to human development, such as urban infrastructure focused on people and the environment. The justification for this research lies in new technologies, strong allies of equations aimed at urban development and infrastructure issues aimed at the social and environmental comfort of cities, aiming to analyze, within the context of the city of Sorriso, the paths to a city smart and sustainable, with a focus on urban mobility, given the high number of traffic accidents occurring in the urban core. To meet this end, the research methodology used field data collection, documentary and bibliographic material based on authors who address the theme of smart and sustainable cities and could be related to the city of Sorriso, which aims to become a smart and sustainable city.

Rompi Pintar Pengendara Menggunakan Sensor Kemiringan Untuk Kebutuhan Keselamatan Berbasis IOT

Traffic accidents often occur in everyday life. Many factors cause traffic accidents to occur. Contributors to the high number of traffic accidents are two-wheeled drivers. So an air vest is needed that can reduce the effects of impact if an accident occurs. In this research, an air vest for two-wheeled riders will be designed. Equipped with an IoT-based tilt sensor. This research designs an IoT-based air vest for two-wheeled riders to reduce the impact effects during an accident. This vest is equipped with a tilt sensor which is similar to the function of airbags in four-wheeled vehicles. The way the vest works is that when the sensor detects a certain tilt programmed into the Arduino, the vest will inflate. The main components of this vest are the Arduino Uno ATMega 328 and the MPU-6050 gyroscope sensor. Prototype testing showed a 60% success rate with a development time of 7-10 seconds. However, hands-on testing provided satisfactory results with a 100% success rate and consistent development time of 7-10 seconds. This vest is expected to improve the safety of everyday two-wheeled riders.

Road Accident Proneness among Motorcyclist in Malaysia: A Structural Equation Modeling Approach

Concern has been expressed by people living in all parts of Malaysia regarding the high number of traffic accidents. This study demonstrates that a mix of human qualities may be responsible for the increase in the accident rate experienced by motorcyclists while they are travelling on public roadways. There is a possibility that human factors, such as riding anger, riding attitude, and a lack of mindfulness, are the most common causes of motorcycle accidents. Research on the frequency of traffic accidents in Malaysia is still in its preliminary stages. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the association between riding anger, riding attitude, mindful driving, and the likelihood of being involved in a road accident. This investigation makes use of a quantitative methodology by means of a questionnaire that is disseminated to customers who are shopping at licenced Yamaha dealers in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. The findings of structural equation modelling indicate that factors such as riding anger, riding attitude, and mindfulness have a significant impact on the likelihood of being involved in a road accident. The explanation of the current study, which includes both theoretical and practical relevance, as well as suggestions for reducing the number of accidents involving people who use roads, is presented here.

IMPLEMENTATION OF THE TRAFFIC CONFLICT TECHNIQUE METHOD AT PONTIANAK'S UNSIGNALIZED INTERSECTION

The high number of traffic accidents is a problem for the government in realizing traffic security, safety, and smoothness. Intersections are the most common point of conflict, especially unsignalized intersections. The research location of the intersection of Jl. Budi Utomo - Jl. 28 October-Jl. Parit Nenas, Siantan Hulu Village, North Pontianak District, and Pontianak City intersect environmental-type commercial roads with many vehicles and education centers. The research objectives are to identify traffic conflicts, analyze the level of traffic conflicts, and provide alternatives to overcome problems.Traffic Conflict Technique is an observation method to analyze traffic conflict that illustrates the seriousness of the conflict. The research data used CCTV recording for two days, Saturday and Tuesday. The Traffic Conflict Technique method uses the Time to Accident and Conflicting Speed values to determine the seriousness of the conflict.Based on the analysis of the Traffic Conflict Technique method, the research location with 34 vehicle conflicts has a severe level of conflict that could potentially cause accident risk. The level of serious conflict is 27 vehicle conflicts, with a percentage of 79.41%. Vehicle speed in the class 15 km / h - 19 km / h is the most severe conflict speed, with 12 vehicle conflicts and a percentage of 44.44%. Accelerating vehicle behavior is the most severe conflict, with 25 vehicle conflicts and a percentage of 83.33% of accidents that have the potential to occur. Alternatives to reduce the causes of accidents are adding traffic signaling devices and traffic signs to improve safety.

UPAYA PENEGAKAN HUKUM TERHADAP PERKARA KECELAKAAN ANAK YANG MENYEBABKAN KORBANNYA MENINGGAL DUNIA

<p><em>The high number of traffic accidents today is still a difficult problem to solve. Moreover, the current traffic problem also involves children in acts of violation of the law. Not even a few traffic violations committed by children can be fatal to other people and even to the loss of one's life. The results of this study discuss penal and non-penal measures that can be taken by the police in dealing with child accident cases that cause the victim to die. An approach that is deliberative to obtain justice using diversion and restorative principles is chosen to create justice for both perpetrators and victims.</em></p>

RIGHT PADDLE REPAIR METHODS FOR IMPROVING TRAFFIC SAFETY AT TRAIN RAILWAY TRACKS

Problems that often occur at level crossings with railroads are the high number of trafficaccidents, namely accidents between trains and vehicles, two-wheeled vehicles that fall dueto inadequate railroad infrastructure, and the condition of road pavements at level crossingsthat are not stable. This study is focused on handling pavement damage at railroadcrossings, especially at the JPL 67 location, which is located on the East Java Provinceroad, UPT area. Road and Bridge Management (PJJ) Surabaya, namely Jalan DepartemenKrian –Mojokerto Regency (link. 153) Km. 30. At the level crossing of JPL 67, two-wheeledmotor vehicle accidents often occur. There is a significant difference in elevation betweenthe highway and the railroad, causing damage to the pavement. The problem is tried to beovercome by conducting a study by UPT. PJJ Surabaya. This study aims to obtain the rightroad handling method according to the character of the load on level crossings, namelydynamic loads on train vibrations. Several road handlings trials have been carried out fromJanuary 2022 to June 2022, using several pavement materials. The study found that CTBwith a cement composition can make the pavement at level crossings last longer.

Road Safety Association (RSA) Social Marketing Communication in Changing the Behavior of Young Drivers in Indonesia

As the fourth most populous country globally, the country has a very high number of traffic accidents. Casualties due to accidents in Indonesia are more than the number of victims of terrorism, tsunamis, and floods. The number of traffic accident casualties in Indonesia is about 28-30 thousand people per year, ranking second among the countries in ASEAN. In Indonesia, traffic accidents, especially those involving motorcyclists, are relatively high. Even if there are 1 million incidents in one day, then 2.76 percent occur in Indonesia, with the average victim being in the productive age between 15 to 22 years. Road Safety Association is a non-governmental organization that conducts social marketing communication activities in campaigning for safe driving. The approach of this research is descriptive and qualitative. Data collection techniques are interviews and literature studies by exploring relevant data through books, websites, and documentation. From the field findings and interviews, Road Safety Association has conducted Road Safety campaign activities using various media. Such as print media (such as brochures and banners), electronic media (such as television and radio), and internet media (website, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter). In addition, RSA also often conducts campaigns face-to-face through roadshow activities, action down directly to the highway, training, and counseling. RSA is also actively working with government and international NGOs for Road Safety.

Prehospital Handling of Traffic Accidents in High School PGRI 4 Denpasar

Traffic accidents are the eighth leading cause of death in Indonesia. Data from the Traffic Corps of the Police of the Republic of Indonesia states that every year 28,000-38,000 people die from traffic accidents in Indonesia. This number makes Indonesia ranked first in the country with the highest ratio of deaths from traffic accidents in the world (Kompas, 2017). In 2018 there was an accident with a death toll of 261 people. The number of victims of serious injuries/hospitalization due to transportation accidents was 190 people. Bali is classified as an area with heavy traffic and has a high number of traffic accidents. One of the efforts made is to seek to reduce the number of deaths due to pre-hospital snacking errors. Efforts made in this community service program are to educate students about handling pre-hospital patients at SMA PGRI 4 Denpasar which begins with counseling about fractures and continues with the introduction of pre-hospital handlers in fracture patients. This program aims to increase knowledge about the definition of fracture and train students on pre-hospital handling in road accidents so as to reduce the death rate in accident victims due to the first mishandling on the road. In the implementation of this activity, the activity begins with the provision of a pre-test questionnaire which is filled out by the participants, then counseling about fractures is carried out using the lecture method and finally a post-test aimed at SMA PGRI 4 Denpasar students. The results of the activity showed an increase in students' knowledge about fractures and could train students about handling fractures in road accidents.

Kebijakan Hukum dalam Upaya Penanggulangan Tindak Pidana Kecelakaan Lalu Lintas yang Mengakibatkan Matinya Korban

Traffic problems are one of the problems on a national scale that develop in tune with the development of society. The problem faced today is the high number of traffic accidents on the highway. This study aims to determine the accountability and legal policies in an effort to overcome the perpetrators of traffic accidents that resulted in the death of the victim at the Humbang Hasundutan Police Traffic Unit. The research method used is normative or doctrinal juridical legal research as library research or document study, which has descriptive analysis. The results of the study indicate that the law against perpetrators of traffic accidents resulting in the death of the victim is regulated in Article 359 of the Criminal Code, Article 106 paragraph (2), Article 229, Article 310 paragraphs 1 to 4 and Article 312 of the Law. No. 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation and Government Regulation Number 37 of 2017 concerning Traffic and Road Transportation Safety. Legal policy in an effort to overcome the crime of traffic accidents that resulted in the death of the victim at the Humbang Hasundutan Sat.Lantas Police carried out penal and non-penal where accountability is carried out by applying imprisonment as regulated in Article 310 paragraph (4) of Law no. 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation.

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT POINT ANALYSIS, ON PRIMARY ARTERIAL ROAD-SUKABUMI DISTRICT

<p>The increasing number of residents every year causes the need for transportation to also increase, this also occurs on the Sukabumi-Bogor Primary Arterial Road which is a road with a fairly high volume of traffic flow, in addition because the industrial center and tourism sector are located right on the national road, Insufficient geometric roads caused by the increasing number of vehicles is also a factor that affects the high number of traffic accidents along the Cibadak – Bogor Road. The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of the accident-prone areas (blackspots) on the Jl. Surya Kencana, Pamuruyan Village, Cibadak District - Jl. Raya Ciutara, Pondok Kaso Landeuh Village, Parungkuda District. The method used in this study is the EAN (Equivalent Accident Number) method and the Cussum (Cumulative Summery) method. From the results of the weighting using the EAN method, it was identified that STA 1, STA 4, STA 5, and STA 6 were blackspots. Meanwhile, the Cussum method identified STA 1, STA 4, STA 5, STA 6, and STA 9 as blackspots. The right type of handling for accident-prone locations from the observations, among others, is making a thunder strip facility close to the zebra cross area to reduce vehicle speed and installing a safety fence on the shoulder of the road so as to minimize road crossings that directly cross the road without using zebra cross facilities.</p>

A STUDY ON THE CHARACTERISTICS AND POLICY SIGNIFICANCE OF PROJECT FOR CHILDREN’S PLAYGROUND IN AMAGASAKI CITY

In the 1960s, many municipalities set up children's playground because of the high number of traffic accidents in which children playing on the road were victims. Amagasaki city, the study site, also established children's playground （Kodomo Hiroba）to prevent children's accidents. This project was started in 1968. There were 216 children's playground in the city as of 2017. One of the characteristics of these playground is that the municipalities set the outline for their installation and proceeded with the installation. Therefore, the project can be developed in accordance with the actual situation of the municipality.

Maqasid al-Syari’ah dalam Penegakkan Hukum Lalu Lintas di Indonesia

The high number of traffic accidents in Indonesia occurred because the traffic law enforcement does not run optimally. This paper tried to explore the rules regarding the traffic that have been contained in the form of Law no. 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation and other regulations from an Islamic legal point of view, especially through the study of maqashid al-shari’ah . The maqashid al-shari’ah approach is used as an approach because maqashid explains the wisdom behind the rules of Islamic shari’ah . The maqashid approach used by the author in this paper is the maqashid classification used by Jamaluddin al-Athiya which divided maqashid into four domains, they are maqashid al-shari’ah in the individual realm, maqashid al-shari’ah in the family realm, maqashid al-shari’ah in the realm of the ummah and maqashid al-shari’ah in the realm of humanity. It can be concluded that law enforcement in traffic matters in Indonesia is in line with the objectives of maqashid al-shari’ah relating to maqashid al-ummah , especially in terms of maintaining stability, security, and justice. Regulations concerning traffic order are matters of the nature of dharuriyyat at this time because the existence of rules regarding traffic will protect matters that are essential in human life, they are religion, soul, mind, descent, and property.

PEMODELAN ANGKA KEMATIAN KECELAKAAN LALU LINTAS DI KOTA DENPASAR

Denpasar City is one of the most crowded areas on the island of Bali, this is due to the fast population growth rate. This fast population can cause problems, one of the problem is in the transportation sector. The increase in the volume of transportation can cause traffic congestion which can lead to a high number of traffic accidents, this can lead to death due to traffic accidents in Denpasar City. To determine the factors that influence traffic accident mortality, researchers used Poisson regression analysis. Based on data on traffic accidents in Denpasar City in 2018, the deviance value is smaller than the chi square value. Therefore Poisson regression analysis is sufficient to model traffic accident data in Denpasar City. The Poisson regression model obtained from this research is. Based on the Poisson regression model obtained, the independent variable that contributes significantly and has a high effect on the number of people who die in traffic accidents is the driver factor.

The Correlation of Subjective Fatigue, Negligence, Knowledge of Safety Riding and Length of Work on Traffic Accidents of Online Motorcycle Taxis in Sidoarjo

Introduction: The number of vehicles in Indonesia has increased every year. The number of two-wheeled vehicles in 2016 was 105.150.082 units and increased to 111.988.863 in 2017 and 120.101.047 in 2018. Unfortunately, along with the increase in motorized vehicle users, the rate of traffic accidents that occurred also increased. One of the causes of the high number of traffic accidents in Indonesia is a large number of jobs in the transportation sector, such as online motorcycle taxis. This study aims to identify the factors that cause traffic accidents, including those caused by fatigue, negligence, knowledge of safety riding, and length of work for online motorcycle taxi drivers. Methods: This study is an analytic observational study with a cross-sectional design. The study population consisted of 110 online motorcycle taxi riders who are members of the Sidoarjo-Porong Online Driver Association Basecamp. Sampling was done by using the total sampling technique. The variables studied included subjective fatigue, negligence, knowledge of safety riding, length of work, and two-wheeled online motorcycle taxi traffic accidents. Data analysis was performed using Cramer’s V Correlation Coefficient or Phi Correlation Coefficient. Results: The results showed a significant correlation between subjective fatigue and the incidence of accidents as indicated by a value of r = 0.289. Furthermore, it was found that a weak correlation between negligence and the incidence of accidents with a value of r = 0.211. No correlation was found between knowledge of safe riding and the incidence of accidents marked with a value of r = -0.169. Meanwhile, there is only a weak correlation between the length of work and the incidence of accidents with a value of r = 0.214. Conclusion: Subjective fatigue, neglect, length of work has a correlation with two-wheeled online motorcycle taxi traffic accidents. There is no correlation between knowledge of safety riding with two-wheeled online motorcycle taxi traffic accidents.

Characteristics of Maxilofacial Fractures That Entered the ER at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin General Hospital Palembang Period 1 January 2019 - 31 December 2019

Background: Maxillofacial trauma is a wound or injury that affects the face and jaw.1 Trauma to the hard tissues of the face can cause maxillofacial fractures, which is damage or breaking of the continuity of the facial bones. Traffic accidents remain the main cause of maxillofacial injury, followed by violence, sports, work-related injuries, and falls 9,10,11,12 The high number of traffic accidents and violence in Palembang city can increase the risk of maxillofacial fracture. The absence of data regarding the characteristics of patients with maxillofacial fractures at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin General Hospital Palembang became the reason for this research.
 Methods: This research is a descriptive observational study with a cross sectional design using secondary data through patient medical records for the period January 2019- December 2019.
 Results: There were 89 patients with maxillofacial fractures with complete medical record data. There were more men (83.14%) than women (16.85%). The youngest age of the patient was 7 years, while the oldest age was 70 years, with the mean age of the patient was 29 years. Traffic accidents were the most common cause (79.7%) followed by falls (11.2 %), violence (4.4 %), sports accidents (1.1 %), and other causes (3.3%). 28 fracture locations were recorded on the upper face, 55 with fracture locations at the midface, 26 with fracture locations on the lower face. The zygomaticomaxillaris complex fracture was the most common fractured bone (35.9%). Regarding management, most were managed with ORIF (66.2%) followed by elevated craniotomy (16.85%), conservative (12.35%), soft tissue debridement repair (2.2%) and closed reduction and nasal repositioning (2.2%).
 Conclusion: Maxillofacial fracture are found commonly in men. Most patient age ranges. is the age of 21-30 years. The most common cause is traffic accidents. The most frequently affected fracture site is the midface, where the most commonly affected bone is the zygomaticomaxillaris complex. The treatment option most often applied is ORIF.

ANALISIS KRIMINOLOGI TINGGINYA ANGKA KECELAKAAN LALULINTAS DI WILAYAH HUKUM POLRES PESISIR SELATAN

On the South Coast there is an increasing number of accidents every year. The criminological factor of the high number of traffic accidents in the Legal Area of the Pesisir Selatan Police is a factor of road conditions because Pesisir Selatan Regency has a geographical condition as a hilly plateau and is located along the southern coast of Sumatra. Another factor for community domesticated livestock is cows that are allowed to roam around without a leash. Efforts to Overcome Traffic Accidents in the Legal Area of the Pesisir Selatan District Police are carried out with several aspects, namely the engineering aspects of road maintenance and infrastructure, installation of markers, installation of warning lights (flip flop lights), installation of signs, and speed restrictions. The education aspect is carried out by improving motorist behavior, through appeals and training. Externally the obstacle faced is the lack of cooperation between the traffic police and other agencies related to traffic such as the transportation department and the nagari administration. The low level of legal awareness of road users in carrying out their work, namely driving their vehicles in accordance with good and correct driving operational standards, is often not applied by violating traffic regulations.

Evaluating the Management Information System of Integrated Medical Emergency Care in Batang Regency, Indonesia

An emergency can happen anywhere and anytime, especially in developing countries with a high potential for emergencies, such as Eastern European countries as well as Indonesia. This study aimed to find out the quality of PSC 119 Si Slamet as a prehospital emergency service innovation. The data collection in this study was carried out in a location, namely, Batang Regency, Indonesia, in May–June 2018. The qualitative data collection methods used in this study are in-depth interviews and document reviews. This study was using Service Quality (Servqual) questionnaire. The results show that PSC 119 Si Slamet provides easy access to emergency services to the community 24 hours a day and 7 days a week by simply calling 119 numbers, sending messages via SMS and WhatsApp, or using the Android-based application, with a maximum response time target of 10 minutes. Batang is one of the regencies (rural area) in Central Java province, located on the main coastline, with a hilly geographic condition with many derivatives, climbs, and sharp curves, which is one of the causes of the high number of traffic accidents in the area. This emergency care information systems, with Android-based application, was aimed at improving the quality of services in the health sector, especially emergency services. This service is of good quality as seen from the tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy dimensions. However, in the implementation, the socialization aspect is not the best to some people. The recommendation given was the need to increase the PSC 119 socialization of Si Slamet not only regionally but also internationally to be massive, especially in developing countries.
