The research program provided for the use of the survey method on the questionnaire "Patient Culture". The volume of the sample population amounted to 400 patients, including: 145 patients of oncological profile, 120 pediatric profile (children aged 14-17 years inclusive), 130 surgical profile. To establish the reliability of the difference in indicators in the comparison groups, the criterion t – Student was used. The differences between the groups were considered significant at p<0.05. Based on the data obtained, a set of proposals was developed to improve the culture of patients. The results of the study showed that the decrease in patient culture is mainly due to such parameters as sanitary culture by 46.7%, information culture by 40%, physical culture by 53.4%, culture of behavior by 30%. It is revealed that the low level of education and low standard of living negatively affects the level of realization of medical culture. An analysis of the cultural level of patients in the profile of care showed that the share of patients with a high level of culture was 34.3% for pediatric services, 44.5% for surgical services, and 24.5% for oncological care.
