AbstractThe annealing behavior of polyoxymethylene single crystals has been studied at various temperatures on five different substrates. Crystals were found to anneal faster on high energy substrates (mica, aluminum, NaCl) than on low energy substrates (polyethylene terephthalate and glass). These observations suggest the presence of interactions between substrate and folds.
