It is a descriptive study in order to evaluate Hospital managers' perceptions of employee safety from the point of healthcare staffs view. The sample of the study consisted of 300 healthcare staff working as midwife, nurse and technicians (x-ray, laboratory, anesthesia technicians), and those who excepted to participate to the study between 01.04.2015 and 01.07.2015. The data of the study were collected using a survey consisting of two parts, developed by the researchers, of the socio-demographic characteristics of the participants and the hospital management's perceptions of employee safety perceptions were assessed by health care workers. The data obtained in the study was evaluated by using SPSS 20 packet program and frequency and percentage values related to the variables were given. Healthcare staffs have stated; Employee safety takes first among the management priorities (%37.3), It is the responsibility of the management to identify and take measures that threaten employee safety (%79), Management is responsible for ensuring job peace among employees (%77,7), Management acts by thinking that mistakes may occur due to the system, not by employee (%33,6), Special work areas such as X-ray examination rooms, tomography, chemotherapy drug preparation rooms; insulation, ventilation, etc. built in accordance with standards (%29,3). The results of the research show that the healthcare workers believe that the hospital management's priorities must be working security, but they are encountering threats to operational safety.
