CONSTRUCTION OF LOW-CARBON DEVELOPMENT INDEX SYSTEM IN THE ELECTRIC POWER CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

Climate change has become a global challenge, and China plays a crucial role in addressing this issue, particularly with significant challenges in carbon reduction tasks. The impact of global climate change on human production and life is increasingly prominent, and countries worldwide are committed to carbon neutrality through agreements such as the Paris Agreement. China accounted for approximately 29% of global carbon dioxide emissions in 2019, making achieving carbon peak and carbon neutrality a key factor in global competition. The Chinese government has repeatedly declared its goals of carbon peak and carbon neutrality, demonstrating a strong determination. Establishing a carbon accounting system is fundamental to achieving these targets. China refers to the guidelines of the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and the MRV system to ensure detectable, reportable, and verifiable emissions, guaranteeing the accuracy of the data. This will facilitate the smooth operation of the national carbon trading market and stimulate carbon reduction efforts. Regarding carbon accounting, the article mentions two critical aspects: methodological guidance based on the IPCC's inventory guidelines and ensuring a detectable, reportable, and verifiable system. This provides the foundation for unified carbon emission data and the operation of the national carbon trading market. Building on the establishment of the carbon accounting system, the article further discusses the construction of a low-carbon development index system for power grid development. This involves establishing a carbon emission accounting and evaluation system for transmission and transformation projects, quantitatively monitoring and assessing projects through methods such as carbon emission accounting and input-output analysis. Additionally, a comprehensive index evaluation method is employed to construct a green construction evaluation system, providing a low-carbon green score for power grid construction. This work contributes to China's better achievement of carbon reduction goals and promotes sustainable development.

The Principles and Evaluation of Green Construction of Tunnels in Frigid Plateau Regions

Green construction is an advanced concept and development trend in engineering construction. It is cold and arid in frigid plateau regions in western China, where the ecological environment is vulnerable to engineering constructions and other human activities. Hence, the time and cost for environmental remediation are much larger than in other areas. Based on the principles and category of green construction, this paper discusses the overall and partial relationship between green construction and green construction operation, presents the technical construction process of the green construction of a tunnel, and puts forward the key points of green construction with the construction practice for tunnels in frigid plateau regions as the engineering background. The main contents and results are as follows: (1) The breakthrough points of the research on green construction include five first-level evaluation indicators of savings the land, energy, water resources, materials, and human resources, as well as protection for personnel health and environment, i.e., five savings and two protections. A comprehensive evaluation system suitable for green construction is proposed and established. (2) The paper summarizes the following essential aspects: the fine classification and safety evaluation of surrounding rock, the changes in the seepage field in the construction process, and the establishment of a standardized construction system. (3) A green construction evaluation was conducted on the tunnel of the Yindajihuang Project, and the green evaluation results were obtained. The evaluation results are basically consistent with the actual situation. In addition, intelligent construction technology should be the orientation of green construction for tunnels. The research would be helpful to the implementation of green construction ideas and technologies for tunnels in frigid plateau regions and the persistence of green and sustainable development.

Comprehensive Evaluation of Green Bridge Construction Based on a Game Theory–Radar Chart Combination

The construction of large bridges requires significant natural resource consumption and causes widespread environmental damage, violating the concept of sustainable development. Therefore, it is necessary to build a comprehensive evaluation system for green construction. This paper took a bridge as a research object to establish a green construction evaluation index system based on GB/T 50640-2010, the “Green Construction Evaluation Standard for Construction Projects”. A combined game theory–radar chart method was adopted to evaluate the level of green construction for five construction schemes. The results were Scheme II > Scheme IV > Scheme III > Scheme I > Scheme V, where Scheme II was the best. The evaluations in this paper were consistent with those obtained by the G1-TOPSIS method; however, a combined-assignment method was used to avoid the one-sidedness of single-assignment, and to make the evaluations more objective.

Strategic environmental assessment in spatial planning

The prerequisite for the development of a strategic environmental assessment (SEA) is the problem of accumulation related to the environment. From this point of view, the measures and methods of countering threats of a planetary scale are analyzed: global warming and climate change; water pollution and ocean acidification; loss of biodiversity. SEA is considered as a tool for balanced development of the territory, as a tool for verifying management and planning decisions, with the help of which it is possible to reveal risks and alternatives in the process of their implementation, to convey conflict situations regarding the use of the territory. The development of the SEA is interpreted as one of the key tools for the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine. The conditions for developing and ensuring the transparency of the SEO of urban planning documentation in spatial planning, it’s content, legislative support for this process and the degree of its European integration are highlighted. The purpose of the study is to show how the procedure of strategic environmental assessment allows optimizing management and planning decisions regarding the development of territories of territorial communities in the process of spatial planning. The legal aspects of SEA regarding general plans of settlements, complex plans for the development of the territory, zoning plans and detailed plans, stages of integration of SEA in urban planning documentation are analyzed. It is proposed to highlight individual stages of the SEO development process. For this, a graphic research method is used. The expediency of implementing into domestic practice the positive foreign experience of implementing SEO, in particular, regarding: construction projects, for example the formulation of projects and evaluation of green construction, sanitary and other facilities, determination of the ecological life cycle of construction products; determining the effectiveness of SEO by whether its benefits are worth it, presenting it through the prism of knowledge and learning, as well as contextual, pluralistic, substantive, normative, and trans active dimensions; delivery of online registers of all SEO documents; promoting an open and proactive attitude to SEO among planners through the SEO Forum. The proposal to include indicators of the ecological capacity of the territory in the SEO (in the existing state and according to the project): coefficients of ecological stability, ecological danger and anthropogenic load are argued. For this, the tabular and normative method of calculation is used. The scientific and practical significance of the article lies in the introduction of the basic indicators of the ecological capacity of the territory (before and after the project of the Comprehensive Development Plan of the territory of the territorial community) into the SEO, which allows to compare the existing and project state of the territory and the environment in terms of the coefficients of ecological stability, ecological danger and anthropogenic load. The ability of the SEO to comprehensively analyze the possible impact of the planned activity on the environment is demonstrated. Green Construction Grade Evaluation of Large Channels Based on Uncertain AHP-Multidimensional Cloud Model

(1) Background. With the increasing national investment in infrastructure in recent years, water conservancy construction has been developed rapidly, which has greatly improved people’s living standards, but at the same time, the damage to the environment and the waste of resources caused by construction is becoming more and more obvious. In the prospect of sustainable development, the application of a complete set of green construction evaluation system is imminent. (2) Methods. This paper takes the green construction of large channels as the research object, takes the Green Building Evaluation Standard (GB/T 50378-2019) as the guideline, takes the control items of “safety and durability, health and comfort, resource saving, environmental livability, improvement and innovation” in the Standard as the construction reference system, and combines the construction characteristics of water conservancy projects. It determines the evaluation index and carries out green construction grade evaluation by uncertain AHP (hierarchical analysis)-multidimensional cloud model. (3) Results. The green construction grade evaluation of large channels was carried out with the example, and the final green construction grade evaluation result of “three stars” was obtained. (4) Conclusions. The evaluation results are consistent with the traditional AHP (hierarchical analysis)-cloud model, but the evaluation model proposed in this paper takes into account the fuzziness, randomness and correlation among the evaluation factors, which is more in line with the actual situation. It plays a guiding role for the green construction of large channels.

An Attempt to Evaluate the Green Construction of Large-Scale Hydropower Projects: Taking Wudongde Hydropower Station on the Jinsha River, China as an Example

Huge amounts of energy and resources will be consumed, and a large quantity of environmental pollutants will be produced during the construction process of large-scale hydropower projects. As a core link of green supply chain in hydropower projects, green construction is particularly critical. To objectively evaluate the green construction level of large-scale hydropower projects, an evaluation indicator system was constructed in the study. The evaluation system consisted of 30 quantitative indicators and 7 qualitative indicators from the perspectives of environmental protection, resource saving and comprehensive management on the basis of the construction characteristics of large-scale hydropower projects. The quantitative and qualitative evaluation standards were proposed by combining with relevant laws and regulations, specifications and standards, and the environmental management maturity model. Furthermore, taking the second quarter of 2018 in Wudongde Hydropower Station on the Jinsha River, China, as an example, green construction level was assessed by the analytic hierarchy process fuzzy comprehensive evaluation (AHP-FCE) method. The calculation results indicated that the evaluation value of green construction in Wudongde Hydropower Station was 3.697, at “Good” level. The evaluation values of environmental protection, resource saving, and comprehensive management were 3.681, 3.473, and 3.965, respectively, within the range of 3 to 4, so they were all evaluated to be “Good”. To further improve the green construction level, it was necessary to supervise some aspects of construction process, i.e., treatment of waste slag in construction, economical and intensive utilization of land, publicity and training, soil erosion control, and saving water resources. In particular, management of soil erosion control should be strengthened. The proposed green construction evaluation system is relatively reliable and practical for professionals in the green hydropower industry, and can provide a reference for other large-scale hydropower projects.

Study on Green Construction Evaluation of Highway in Seasonal Frozen Zone

In recent years, research on highway development in the seasonal frozen region has been progressing. However, research on the evaluation system of green construction for the roads in the seasonal frozen region is still under exploration. China's seasonal frozen region accounts for more than half of its land area, and many roads traverse through it. Given the mutual relationship between highway construction and environmental impacts, it is necessary to set up an evaluation system of green construction for the roads in the seasonally frozen region to avoid more energy waste and environmental damages caused by highway construction. The authors used a hierarchical clustering method to determine the index weight, used SPSS to do clustering analysis, established a gray clustering model, and determined the evaluation rating of green construction for the roads according to the principle of maximum membership level. Hereby, this paper evaluated the highway construction from Yichun to Wudalianchi, and the result is "gold level." The result shows that hierarchical cluster analysis combines the index weight and expert weight, which can avoid shortcomings of subjective weight. Therefore, reasonable and scientific weight was obtained. Gray clustering model is suitable for the grade evaluation of green construction for seasonal frozen region's roads. It makes the development of the construction for the green road in the seasonal frozen region more accurate and to gain more practical significance.

Research on the Green Evaluation System of Large Public Buildings

This paper introduces green construction from the entry point of a public building in Chongqing and analyzes its development status in China. The important role of green construction evaluation is a key issue in green construction. Nowadays, China does not yet have a compact evaluation model and system that fits the national conditions, which is scientific, and gives full play to evaluation, standardization, and guidance of green construction. Through the evaluation of three green construction evaluation models of China’s construction engineering green construction evaluation standards, British Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREAM), and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), the separate analysis and comparison of different systems are made. The results could provide supports for green construction evaluation models and systems and also promote the long-term development of green construction in China.

Green Construction Evaluation System Based on BIM Distributed Cloud Service

Based on the BIM cloud service, in the green construction evaluation system, this paper introduces the sub-module and the overall architecture. In the sub-module, it includes auxiliary evaluation system, load balancing architecture, and data service. It is an effective method to store data. Through the conversion and integration of data storage methods of various computer protocols, the traditional green construction evaluation methods can be efficiently and accurately evaluated by cloud computing servers. At the same time, the database can hold a large amount of data and continue to expand.

Research on Comprehensive Application of BIM in Green Construction of Prefabricated Buildings

In the process of sustainable development of the construction industry, green construction is an important means. However, in the application and development of prefabricated buildings, the design of green construction evaluation standards is not obvious enough, and there are even problems such as vertical division of the whole process. Based on previous work experience, this article summarizes the content of the comprehensive application of BIM in green construction of prefabricated buildings. The author discusses the specific application of BIM in the construction of prefabricated green buildings from four aspects: application in scheme optimization design, application in construction layout, application in construction management, and energy saving and control cost.

Research on BIM information evaluation of dynamic sustainable green construction of urban deep foundation pit

The existing green construction evaluation lacks dynamic nature. Based on the characteristics of urban deep foundation pit construction, PDCA cycle theory gives the dynamic evaluation index weight based on OWA operator, and establishes a dynamic evaluation model. BIM information technology is used to build a platform and Wuhan Yangtze River Shipping Center proves the scientific nature of dynamic evaluation.

Comprehensive Evaluation Method of High-Rise Building Green Construction Based on Cloud Model

With resource conservation, environmental protection and people’s health being valued by the whole society, high-rise building green construction has become an irresistible trend. For accurate evaluation of high-rise building green construction assessment level, considering the fuzziness and randomness, green construction assessment based on the perspective of construction general contracting unit, through literature research and the influence factors of in-situ investigation to determine the influence of green construction, using the PSR theory constructing evaluation index system of green construction, adopt AHP, entropy weight method to calculate the combination weight of index system. Finally, the transformation between qualitative and quantitative was realized by using cloud model, and the comprehensive evaluation level was established by drawing comprehensive cloud map and calculating membership degree. Combined with a municipal representative project, the green construction evaluation simulation calculation, the calculation results show that the project green construction evaluation grade is good, feedback of the results to the general contractor has been generally recognized.

Study on the Evaluation Method of Green Construction Based on Ontology and BIM

Many problems and issues affect the green construction process. Inaccurate assessment is one of the important factors for green construction. The objective of this study is to propose a BIM and ontology‐based approach that enables the evaluation information of green construction to be inferred from a knowledge base in order to achieve scheme optimization. To automate the inference, this study established the BIM ontology that consists of BIM shared ontology and BIM construction ontology. First, IFC extension is adopted in green construction assessment system to generate attribute sets. IFC‐based parameters stored in BIM models are mapped to OWL and will be used as the data source of the evaluation indicators. Then, BIM‐shared ontology and BIM construction ontology are defined. Protégé is employed to simulate the evaluation indicator system. Last, utilizing BIM knowledge base, through the construction of SWRL rule language and the Drools inference, the scores of evaluation indicators could be obtained. The experimental results demonstrated that BIM knowledge base for the evaluation of green construction could realize the sharing, maintenance, and acquisition of knowledge among different participants of the project and improve the management of green construction. The proposed ontological inference of evaluation item enables an automated search of the aspects needing improvements in green construction and assist project managers in using BIM data more easily and effectively.

The Study on the Earthworks of Green Construction based on Value Engineering

Earthwork construction brings many phenomena like the destruction of the natural structure of the land, the damage of the surface vegetation and soil exposed etc. These phenomena result in numerus environmental problems, such as dust pollution and soil erosion. Therefore, during the period of earthwork construction, it is practically meaningful to implement the concept of Green Construction, establish a scientific evaluation system for Green Construction, evaluate the Green Construction degree of each construction plan. This paper use two concepts, Value Engineering Theory and Analytic Hierarchy Process to create a Green Construction evaluation system basing on Value Engineering. Furthermore, the paper takes the earthwork of transportation and leveling construction for a real the large-scale grid conversion station as an example to illustrate the method of calculating the value coefficient of each Green Construction project and the decision optimization process for multiple value coefficient based construction schemes.

Quantitative assessment of carbon dioxide emissions in construction projects: A case study in Shenzhen

Construction management in China has embraced a new practice encompassing the evaluation criteria of green construction. Thus, greenhouse gas emissions produced during the construction period should not be overlooked anymore. The greenhouse gas emissions from construction projects are evaluated based on life cycle assessment theory, and on green construction evaluation and management techniques. A procedure for assessing the greenhouse gas emissions from construction projects is developed using the unit construction process, and by classifying and integrating the different components of construction projects. A segregation-integration method was established for calculating the greenhouse gas emissions of construction project. A mathematical model and framework to calculate the greenhouse gas emissions from construction projects have been established. The energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions for earthwork, foundation work, masonry, and reinforced concrete during construction are calculated based on the example of a commercial building in a large-scale residential complex in the Pingshan New District of Shenzhen City. The greenhouse gas emissions were calculated as equivalent carbon dioxide emissions. High-rise buildings and villas have the highest unit carbon emissions of 54.51 kg/m2, and account for 84% of the carbon dioxide emissions produced during the construction of the residential community. The unit carbon emissions for construction of the entire residential community are approximately 54.18 kg/m2. The scientific value of this paper is that the carbon emissions during the construction stage of a residential community were quantitatively assessed. The unit carbon emissions of the buildings during construction can be used to calculate unit energy consumption of buildings during construction, which should be useful in realising energy savings, and can therefore provide management guidance for reducing energy consumption during the life cycle of building, especially consumption during construction.

Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation for Green Construction

Nowadays countries in the world are committed to the energy conservation and emission reduction, and the construction is the most energy consumption stage in the life cycle of the building. Green construction will be a key link to realize energy conservation and emission reduction in the construction field. A green construction evaluation index system is established in this paper, which includes five-level aspects such as construction management, materials and material resource utilization, water conservation and utilization, energy efficiency and utilization, and land utilization and protection. These aspects are further divided into 20 indices of green construction management system.

Study on Green Construction Evaluation Based on the Fuzzy Matter-Element

Green construction plays an important role in the formation of green building. For the characteristics of fuzziness and incompatibility, this paper introduces the theory of fuzzy matter-element into the evaluation of green construction. The power weight is worked out with the entropy method, the related degree values between the standard fuzzy matter-element and each fuzzy matter-element is established, it lines up each scheme to pick up the best scheme. The result shows that among the methods of multiple indexes comprehensive evaluation of green construction, this method can reflect the extent of green construction objectively and accurately.

Green Construction Evaluation of Wall Project Based on Grey Clustering Method

At present, there’s unbolt independent system of green assessment concerning construction process, let alone a sub –part engineering. In this paper, based on grey clustering method and evaluating model of green construction studied previously, the evaluating index system of green construction is proposed with the addition and deletion of indexes in term of wall project. Finally, methods of evaluation will be applied to the two actual engineering schemes for evaluation. The conclusions will be compared, showing the method is more feasible.
