We have optimized the giant magnetoresistance of coevaporated (CoFe)Ag alloys as a function of the nature of the substrate, the sample thickness and the alloy composition. The alloy—substrates adherence has been controlled with in situ resistance measurements. The observed variation of the coercive field with particle size suggests the existence of interparticle interactions.
