[ABSTRACT.] After showing that: 1, alcohol is not a food; 2, does not promote digestion; 3, does cause gastric disturbances; 4, alcohol does not increase muscular strength nor promote physical or mental endurance, Dr. Didama continued: Observation in by-gone days and accurate recent experiments seem to establish these statements beyond successful contradiction.
